Climate: Arid. The Summers are humid, August and Spring are pleasant, however, Winter is brutal.
History: Whill Wood is on the border of Konohagakure and the land of tea. It's where one would find themselves if leaving Konoha's border first most likely if heading westbound or north. The Whill Wood gets its name from how long it takes to traverse on a carriage. Roughly a week of time. Compared to skimming the trees about two days. The woods while pleasant with its natural musk is a marvel to roam in the morning but come night one is heavily suggested to make camp as all manner of beasts, spiritual, super natural, and ravenous roam it in the dark.
Dangers:
•In Winter the Whill Wood has been known to be colder than even some mountains. Will inflict a tier of frostbite capping at tier 2 per post if an individual is not properly clothed
•At night the Whill Wood is home to dangerous woodland beasts varying anywhere from D-A on the danger scale.

The nearby village of Flortiste was a strangle place filled with even stranger people. Fortunately, he'd only have to stop there briefly before continuing on his path. The woods he found himself in were familiar to him, but there was an ambiance in the air that verged on off-putting, though he couldn't explain why. As he continued along the thin road through the wood, Shoshin came upon a happening. A farmer was being held up by what appeared to be a Leaf ninja. Or at least, that's what it appeared to be. The flak jacket was the same, the rest of the gear the shiny had would make one think so. But something was missing. Something important. As Shoshin neared, he kept an eye on the ninja. He needed to see their front to be sure.
Listen here farm boy. The Leaf needs your supplies urgently! Give them to me and be on your way!" the ninja barked at the farmer, spitting a bit as he did.
"This doesn't make any sense! Go to my farm if you need supplies! I've got to get this to the market!" the farmer nervously yelled back.
"How dare you speak to a Leaf shinobi that way! Do you want to be arrested?!" the ninja barked, beginning to turn around. "If I have to get my superior down here it'll- wha- who are you?"
Shoshin smiled slightly. No headband. "I'm a Jonin from the Leaf village. Is there a problem here?" he said coolly, tapping the protector on his sword sling.
The shinobi looked at Shoshin's finger where the Leaf symbol was, and froze, still as a statue. The farmer, who had been slowly backing away, became distracted by the ninja's panic.
"I think it'd be best if you left, sir." Shoshin said calmly to the farmer. I'm going to arrest this criminal."
The farmer nodes silently and began backing away before turning and walking briskly toward the direction of the Leaf village. Once the man was a short distance away, Shoshin turned back to the frozen man. Almost instantantly, the man collapsed to the ground and started screaming violently. The genjutsu Shoshin used was what a few might call excessive, but it didn't matter so long as the effect was the same. As Shoshin looked down at the screaming man, he closed his eyes for a moment and began murmuring a prayer to his Lord. Raising his hand above his shoulder, Shoshin grabbed the handle of his sword and opened his eyes, bringing down the sword with purpose, implanting the blade into the false shinobi's stomach with a sickening crunch. The screaming stopped. After putting away his blade in its holster with a thunk, Shoshin kneeled down and stared at the dead man. "Disrespecting the Leaf... A quick way to die. At least you'll appease my Lord Jashin."

Hiding, that was all he had done ever since he escaped. He had been keeping on the down low, making money by doing little jobs around the villages he passed through. He also trained his abilities by using his threads to help him do those small jobs such as painting houses, hanging clothes to dry, and even help with moving stuff.
This helped him to be able to do train his control over his threads to the minute detail. This time around, he decided to help a caravan as a hired mercenary. From the information he was given, they were transporting high quality silks and material to the Land of Tea.
Because of a few rival merchants had given information of the ‘score’ to a few bandits that are known for roaming the roads of the Land of Tea, the merchant wanted protection so he hired a few mercenaries. “Shiyo, you ready to go?” a short fat man asks as he looks up at the top of the carriage. Shiyo sits up and looks down at the fat man, taking in all of his features with an inquisitive gaze.
The short fat man had short brown hair with a mustache, same color as his hair, and was wearing gaudy purple robe covering most of his body. If he remembered correctly, the fat man was called Kentaro. Shiyo then gives Kentaro a thumbs up to which he nods at as he heads to the front of the carriage connected to where the horses are connected.
He then whips the reins causing the horses to lurch forward as the carriage begins to roll forward. Shiyo smiles as he stays sitting on the top of the carriage, he then applies his chakra to his left hand as it begins to change slowly becoming a purple hand that is twined together. The threads begin to untether as they slowly split off becoming smaller and smaller threads until his hand is just a bunch of threads coming out of his wrist.
He then lifts his hand up causing the threads to lift into the air then separate forming a some like area around the carriage and horses. He then begins to cause the threads to rotate around them as he closes his eyes. This technique was thought of by Shiyo to allow for quick responses to ranged attacks.
He would be able to use the threads to divert the projectiles away from him and his client. He also made sure the threads weren't blocking his Kentaro's vision of the road. Hours past as he kept his technique active with his eyes closed.
He had been using his ears to listen for any abnormalities, but there was nothing till he heard a crack which seemed to echo in the forest they were passing through. Shiyos eyes shoot open as he turns his head to the right as he narrows his eyes at the spot where the sound originated from. Then he hears hissing sounds as he twists his wrist causing his threads to twine together forming thicker threads.
The hissing becomes louder till arrows become visible as they close in on the carriage. Shiyo whips his threads around, knocking the arrows that were heading towards Kentaro, him, and the horses. He deflected the most of the arrows, though some of them landed on the carriage.
Shiyo then swipes his hand across the air, shooting multiple threads from his wrist as the fly out into the forest. He then hears a few screams, confirming he hit his targets. He then moves his other hand toward the forest, causing his threads to stretch out into the forest.
He then waits till he feels his threads warp around someone before pulling them over, as they drag a man that is struggling to get free through the bushes. He then holds the man in front of him causing the man to stop struggling and shiver in fear as he seems to notice the threads were coming from Shiyo. Shiyo lifts his free hand focusing chakra to it causing it to turn purple as the threads begin to untangle from his hand and form into a stick man.
He then forms a mini bow for the stick man and then looks at the man who is trembling from fear. Shiyo stares into the man's eyes then look over to his stick man and then glancing at the forest before looking back at the man. He does this a few times, trying to convey his words till Kentaro peeks out from inside the carriage looking at Shiyo and the bandit before saying “Uh, I think he’s asking if there is any more of you out there.” as Shiyo nods at Kentaro before looking back at the bandit while allowing his free hand to return to normal.
“N-n-n-no, you g-g-g-got al-l-l-ll o-f-f us.” the bandit says as he trembles. Shiyo smiles as he punches the man, knocking him out before dropping him on the ground. He then gives Kentaro an ‘ok’ hand sign to which Kentaro nods and begins to move the carriage again.
Shiyo lifts his hand into the air causing the threads to spread out in a dome around his horse and carriage. He then closed his eyes and focused on his hearing. a few hours later, they made it to their destination with no other incidents. Kentaro thanked Shiyo for his help and Shiyo just waved him off with a smile. He then walked off, not worrying about the payment Kentaro was going to try to give him,
