As Salem and Cartwright got up to a vertical base, the crowd clapped in rhythm, the sound growing faster as the two wrestlers eyed each other and approached with outstretched hands looking for a grapple. Gripping each other's fists, the pair leaned their bodies into the lock-up, see-sawing slightly as they struggled for leverage superiority. breaking one hand free as they were almost foehead to forehead, Cartwright smacked Salem across the jaw, startling the Native-born superstar before the British Brawler locked hands again! Salem, breaking grip with his other hand, returned the strike, the crowd letting out a pop from the sound of Cartwright being chin-checked! Now no longer maintaining their grasp on each other's hands, the pair stood toe-to-toe, squared off and staring each other down as they took turns trading smacks across each other's faces, escalating to chops across the chest that made both men recoil a step before delivering a receipt! But before Salem could retaliate with one such right hand, Cartwright caught the incoming arm and ducked under and behind Salem, tugging the wrist around and twisting the limb into a chicken wing submission, wrenching the move in deep while kicking the back of one knee to force Salem into a crouch for added leverage! His free hand spasming from the pain, Salem winced and reached out, struggling to step closer towards the ropes before eventually grabbing the top cable, the official coming in to direct Cartwright to break the hold and back away. Not immediately responding, Cartwright lingered in the chicken wing a moment longer while Salem shook the cable, looking sharply behind him at his opponent and then to the referee who was now forcing separation between the two.
Releasing his grip, Cartwright backed away and raised his hands to the referee as the man in the striped shirt admonished the Englishman for not immediately following his instructions. Salem, however, took this opportunity to jump up onto the second rope before springboarding off, leapfrogging the official to hit Cart with a flying Lou Thesz Press! Now on his back, Cartwright brought his forearms up to block as Salem swatted down with fists at his foreign friend, feeling a bit irritated at how he'd been so cavalier with his earlier submission, the effects still seen on Salem's face as he winced with each strike from the softened up arm! Getting up off Cartwright, Salem popped the crowd with a gesture, showing some fire as he started climbing the nearest corner for a high-risk maneuver! But before the Blackfoot could leap from his perch, Cartwright was on his feet and up the turnbuckles, starting to exchange fists with Salem while both men stood perilously on the top rung! The blows were dealt savagely from both sides, but the strain trying to alternatively fight or fend off Cartwright with his weakened forearm put Salem at a disadvantage, leaving him open to a stunning fist that brought Salem down to a sitting position on the top turnbuckle!
Moving down to the second rung, Cart tried for a moment to set Salem up for a suplex, but as Salem was lifted overhead his legs bent to catch his feet on the canvas at the last second, reversing the maneuver into a last-ditch neckbreaker that planted Cartwright on the mat close to the corner they'd come from! Struggling to his feet, still sore in the arm and woozy from the clubbing fists a moment ago, Salem struggled to pull Cartwright by the wrist towards the center of the ring, but found his prey was playing possum upon getting him there as the Brit suddenly reversed the hold on his arm as Salem dropped for the cover and instead countered the pinfall attempt into another armbar, targeting the same wrist he'd seized of Salem's twice already in submissions! Using his weight for leverage to keep Salem from reaching the ropes, Croft cried out in pain as he struggled for a few moments in vain before tapping his good hand to the mat, causing the referee to shake Cartwright off and signal for the bell!
"YOUR WINNER OF THIS MATCH BY TAP-OUT, THE EXTRAORDINARY ENGLISHMAN, CARTWRIGHT!!!"

Cartwright keeps the arm bar applied for a few more seconds before releasing the hold, allowing the referee to raise his arm up in victory. The crowd cheers the winner, who climbs on to the turnbuckle to pose and celebrate. The Lad looks back to see Salem nursing his arm, so Cartwright gets off of the turnbuckle to check on his mystery opponent for the night.
Suddenly there is a strange noise coming from the crowd. Cartwright and Salem look around to see what is going on. Three unknown men hop over the barricade and surround the ring. They slowly climb on to the ring apron. Cartwright raises his fists up, prepared to defend the wounded Salem and himself.
Tony: "What's going on?! Who are these three?!"
Larry: "Whoever they are, it looks like they have a problem with the two men in the ring!"
The three men enter the ring and as they do, Cartwright slides out, leaving Salem alone with them.
Tony: "Where's he going?!"
Larry: "I don't blame him, I'd get out of there too after having such a match!"
The three men begin to attack Salem, stomping away at him as Cartwright grabs a steel chair.
Tony: "Now I understand!"
Larry: "He's got an equalizer!"
Cartwright slides into the ring with the chair and swings towards the group to back them away into the top left corner of the ring. Cartwright helps Salem up.
Tony: "It's still three against two!"
Larry: "The chair makes all of the difference!"
Cartwright winks into the camera, turning around to deliver a sickening chair shot to the skull of an unsuspecting Salem, dropping him to the mat as a stunned crowd turns silent.
Tony: "WHAT?!"
Larry: "DID I JUST SEE THAT?!"
Cartwright directs the men to attack Salem's ribs, which they do so happily with stomps and punches. One of the men, wearing a jesters hat, pulls a pair of handcuffs from out of his pocket to give to Cartwright.
Tony: "THIS IS A SET-UP!"
Larry: "WHY?! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!"
Cartwright handcuffs Salem's hands together behind his back and leans him against the ropes. Cartwright tells the men to follow his lead and delivers vicious chops to Salem's chest, punishing the helpless and defenseless man. Salem begins to fight back as a man wearing shades prepares to chop him, kicking the shades off of the man with a superkick and dropping the man. The crowd begins to cheer Salem on as he delivers a big boot to a muscular man that staggers him across the ring. Salem superkicks the man in the jester hat, forcing Cartwright to put a stop to this with a chair strike to the ribs.
Tony: "WHAT DID HE DO TO DESERVE THIS?!"
The mystery attackers grab steels chairs for themselves and join Cartwright in smacking Salem's grounded body with them repeatedly. The Lad decides to find a different weapon, a baseball bat, as management appears on the entrance ramp ordering him to stop the assault on Salem, who looks like he is almost beaten unconscious.
Cartwright enters the ring with the baseball bat and stands over Salem, who looks up at him with tears in his eyes. Cartwright shows no mercy, ramming the top of the baseball bat down on to Salem's throat in a shocking display. The medical team rush towards the ring to check on Salem, who squirms in agony on the mat, holding his throat as Cartwright looks satisfied with his work.
With their mission apparently accomplished, the four men exit the ring and leave the arena by hopping over the barricade, charging through the shocked and upset fans.
