As he grew up, however, he had to learn that hard lesson that monsters did exist, and he had to become a knight as a young stallion to protect his family.

Personality: Istas was bought as a basket by her two-legger and raised mostly by an Usdia named Forte. She knows of her biological family but never sought them out. As a filly, she spent her days playing with Claude and going on adventures. As an adult, Istas felt that it was important to help others and so she would enlist Claude and they would do just that, and eventually there was simply an unspoken code of honor they followed and was passed onto the kids. Istas is very open about her feeling and will always show affection. In her younger days when she was stronger, she would fiercely protect her family. Now as a grandmother she advises the younger generations and enjoys being mushy with her mate. She would love to have more children.

Personality: Lafa to his friends, Lafayette was more of a goof-off than his father would like, but hard life of heartbreak and strife have mellowed him out considerably. He lost his former mate, Branwen, to a skinwalker attack soon after childbirth and as such had a difficult time bonding with the foals. Instead, he allowed his mother to raise them, though he did try his best. Now he is usually bus training new knights or going off with his son, Lucien, on adventures. Personality: They say that great pain births grate artists, and while this may not be a universal truth, is true with Lucian. A poet born of sorrow and pain, Lucian observes the world around him with a keen eye. He understands that soquili have pasts and that they may not necessarily be proud of those pasts, and uses that to find the poem in each life he meets. He believes that everything that happened to someone happened to shape them into who they are now, and changing that would change them. That’s what makes them beautiful to them.
