The Arena spans a 100-foot Diameter. One can either win by rendering the opponent unconscious or having the target touch the ground in the Out of Bunds area which is 20 feet extending from the borders of the arena. Naturally, competitors can concede and surrender. If thrown into the air a barrier will prevent an individual from flying out the arena but will result in an impact equivalent to hitting an impenetrable wall.

There is a sensor monitoring the destructive capability of the attacks taking place within the bracket. No attacks should exceed A-rank. This includes DR. Quite literally pulling punches a requirement in this bracket.

Kaito wasn't sure what he had been expecting when he signed up for the tournament, but he didn't think this was it. The announcer was exciteable but Kaito was unsure of how to feel about the whole thing - after all, he was unfamiliar with his opponent since he had spend the entirety of the Kogarashi aftermath burying himself in his own work to avoid processing.
That said, he was in the spotlight, and it was time to pull himself together. He put on a signature grin and waved to the audience as he was introduced. "It's a pleasure, Miss Akane. I hope I don't disappoint," he said with a more genuine smile as he readied himself mentally for what was going to come.
He made a hand seal and generated a clone of himself. He gripped his whip while the clone stood at the ready, but neither made another move.

Maeko was wiggling in her seat, her fists gripped tight as she watched her 'Sunshine' enter the arena. Biting her lip, she tried her best not to lose her composure. But soon it became to much, she hopped up, the lass on the front row. She stuck her finger out at him and bellowed out. "KIIIIICK SOME ASSSSSSSS!!! SUNSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!!!" Maeko's outburst was so loud, people around her jumped some, and several stood and moved away. She didn't care, she was standing, hands on the guardrail. Her smile big and wide, eyes glittering as she tried to pump her best friend.

"Scanning... Scanning... Ship detected."
Once lifeless eyes sparked to life when a certain loud yelling attracted their gaze into the audience. A smile raised those flat lips into an ever so small, secretive smile. When the new smile combined with those half-closed eyes that had remained as they were, it gave the impression that this previously dull girl that had refused to return "Sunshine"'s earlier smile was now plotting something. Nothing was spelled out, but she could feel it. Her intuition told her there was something fun to be had here.
Thick, glossy black hair shifted like a silk curtain as Miku nodded her head to the side, her eyes back on Kaito after their momentary reprieve. She took a step forwards, casual and relaxed, like she was just getting closer to invite Kaito on a date. Hands clasped behind her back and body leaning off-center to the side, she was hardly the picture of battle ready.
"Oh, don't you worry, I'm sure it'll be a pleasure for me, too, if you're gonna be using that whip on me~" her childish voice came out loudly and playfully, followed by a giggle.
And a hug. A bear hug.
The hands held harmlessly behind Miku burst with fuuton chakra without warning and the gap between Kaito and her immediately disappeared [Kyoushu no Tokkan [ Assassinβs Rush ]]. With the force of a jet, Miku propelled herself right into Kaito's arms and gave him a giant, overly warm hug if her body shot hit true [Hotto Houyo [ Hot Hug Technique ]]. Arms wrapping around right underneath his armpits, and legs locking into place behind the small of his back, it was hard to say if this was still a hug, or some sort of midget monkey grapple. Nevertheless, Miku was taking advantage of her small size to enwrap herself around the Kaito.
β° Kyoushu no Tokkan [ Assassinβs Rush ] | Rank B Expelling a great deal of chakra, the user forces a vast amount of wind out of their hands. This blast of wind has two effects: first, anything in the direction the technique is pointing is knocked over by the blast, and second, it propels the user extremely quickly in the opposite direction. During this movement user may make continual adjustments to their trajectory. The dash lasts for barely a second, but in that time the user can cover around one half-mile.
Hotto Houyo [ Hot Hug Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: When the user grabs the enemy, the user's body heats incredibly. The heat can cause minor burns on the victim's skin. If a complete circle is made around the opponent with the user's arms, a microwave effect is caused as well, beginning to cook them from the inside out after two [2] full posts. Effect is stopped if the opponent breaks the circle. Guild Description: See official description. Technique can be maintained for an upkeep cost equivalent to the original cost.
Kaito turned his head curiously at the sound of Maeko's cheering; once he recognized her voice, his heart fluttered briefly. He decided then not to worry about losing - he was sure Maeko wouldn't hold it over his head. Not for forever, at least.
His opponent seemed strangely casual about the entire battle up until the moment she wasn't - blasting towards him at a remarkable speed. His eyes widened in surprise as she launched towards him, substituting with his clone at the very last second.
Having switched with his clone, he watched her hugging-hold attack with an unreadable expression, unsure what to make of it and somewhat fearing she was secretly an insane taijutsu expert about to suplex his poor flower clone. He turned vaguely in the direction of the announcer as he took a few steps back and allowed the clone to disperse into her arms. "P-procreate? We would neve- I'm an officer of the law," he said, incredulous at the accusation and face growing red. He was suddenly more aware of Maeko's presence at the tournament and he certainly hoped there was significant security to hold her back if she tried to attack Miku herself.
He shook his head to get back into the game and made hand seals to create a fire prison around the dispersing clone and Miku if she didn't flee from the area beforehand.

"..." Brooding silence came from the Bone Lady, before said bones suddenly protruded from her in anger. She hadn't even meant to, luckily for the lass all the people had moved away from her out of embarrassment. Maeko was seething, her grip tight on guard rail before the announcer made his quip. Her strength showed through as she suddenly crushed the steel, gritting her teeth as she stared death daggers into Miku. "YOU LAY OFF MY BOY YOU b***h!!!" She finally burst out, leaning half way over that, now quite ruined, guard rail. Jealousy oozed off those loud words.
Dance of the Willow: Exertion [ B ] The first of Kimimaro's five dances. Allows the user to have their bones extend from their body in the form of long blades. These blades can be formed instinctively in order to parry and deflect incoming attacks. The blades can last for three post, or they can return the same post that they are used. When the bones either separate from the user or return into them, the skin which was penetrated as a result of the technique is automatically restored. "If it's you, I don't mind cage play, Kaito-chan~" Miku purred from within the cage, hoping the words would fluster him for long enough, "but," and her hands moved down to the bottom of her sweater and hooked her fingers over the edges, "It's getting kind of hot in here, isn't it?"
It was just a sweater. Miku didn't expect it to be very controversial to say she was going to take it off. However, it could serve as a good threat. She took off her first, outermost layer in one swift, unabashed motion that pulled her black undershirt up partially to reveal a good chunk of midriff before the sweater was completely pulled off and the shirt free to fall back down.
The sweater was dropped to the ground, and almost immediately, Miku's hand was back to fanning herself with her collar. "Still hot..." she complained, seemingly earnestly, and stuck a tongue out to try and release some heat. Her eyes had lowered after taking off the sweater, focusing on other things, such as the bar and ground, but they inevitably returned to Kaito, who was really looking like a cutie. How she really wanted to go up to him right now, breaking down this flimsy cage, and give him a grat, big hug while spouting some cheesy romantic lines. Of course, she knew these feelings of hers were falsehoods, and to her right now, simply a means to looking even more arduously at Kaito, making the mask of desire and romantic feelings she had slid on all the more convincing. She gave her boy a flirtatious wink and then looked away, feigning shyness. With her toe digging circles into the ground and face flush with a rosy blush, she shyly admitted, "If it's for Kaito-chan, then I wouldn't mind taking off everything," as she hooked her fingers underneath her shirt. One could only assume she meant to take it off as well, and any other layers of clothing she had left, until she stopped feeling hot.
Perhaps she was taking the affection too far? Miku did wonder that, even right now. However, at the same time, who could argue with her? Kaito had made her infatuated with him, and no one knew what sort of character this Miku person was. People changed when they were infatuated. Miku knew this much.
The shirt was dangerously close to being pulled off. Miku had already lifted it enough to showcase a thin strip of a pale, narrow waist when she suddenly paused and gave an out, "Ah... But... If darling doesn't want me to, then I won't. I just... don't know how long I can hold out in this heat, so if you could dear, could you let me out of this technique before I have to take off my shirt?". There was something special about the way Miku said this piece just now. Something hard to place. She spoke in a more cutesy way, rounding out her words and pouting in a slightly spoiled manner that she knew, if it worked, was going to absolutely get on Maeko's nerves.
Well, perhaps "knew" was too strong a word. Miku knew barely anything about Maeko, just what she saw, and what she saw was a girl who very much cared for Kaito and who couldn't possibly ever be as mainstream cute as this small-framed, soft-looking teen standing in front of and begging Kaito. What better to be more jealous than something that was unattainable?
Though, of course, no matter how jealous and infuriated Miku's words made Maeko, she would be hard-pressed to top the affect they would have on Kaito. There was poison hidden in the sugar, a genjutsu to convince Kaito that what Miku said was reasonable enough, perhaps even right [Voice of Persuasion]. Yes, it made perfect sense. It wasn't her fault she was taking off her clothes in front of this giant audience. She was only taking them off because it was soooo hoooot. Who's fault was that? Kaito's, so it's actually Kaito who's making Miku strip. The horror. It was the officer of justice, the man who's duty was to uphold the law, that was forcing this poor, innocent girl to expose herself for an entire audience to see. But wait! There's more! Who's fault was it that Miku was so willing to be naked in front of Kaito? Again, this police officer's fault with that earlier clone technique that infatuated her to him. An effect that was something like this then followed up with Kaito releasing the technique was what Miku was hoping for.

In addition, the user can now make requests of his listeners and, assuming they are not too unreasonable, they will be favorably considered. However, this technique is still limited in its level of influence. For example, someone using this technique may be able to convince an enemy to retreat, but probably not to surrender. Also, the Jutsu remains much less effective against impassioned people, especially if the anger is directed at the user. Requires the previous version to be known first.
Whatever pride Kaito had felt at seeing his attacks land was quickly gone. She was stripping. Like, really stripping. His jaw dropped - an accident, really! - and he was a severe loss for words as she continued undressing while shyly suggesting it was all his fault and no, no he wasn't a pervert! Stop that! "I-I, well, I, it's not quite like that, you see, er... Can't you withstand a little fire? Er... I..." His gaze bounced around, not wanting to let her out of his sight since it was still a battle, but not wanting to stare at her... attractive... midriff... oh.
She asked him so sweetly to undo the jutsu. Oh geez, who was he to deny her? She was just a poor girl, undressing because of his thoughtlessness. He released the fire prison jutsu without further hesitation. "I- I'm sorry," he said dumbly, falling into a strange haze as he waited for her next command unknowingly.
Maeko was quaking with anger, the grip on that guardrail had smashed it like two alluminum cans. Her teeth were gritted, and she was blowing air from her nostrils. She could do nothing but watch the guy she loved get seduced by this b***h! "KAAAAITO!" She screamed trying to get his attention away from the succubus he was fighting. Maeko knew just what she was doing and went wide eyed. A growl slipped free as she screamed out with all her might. "KAAAAITO YOU DUMB ASSSSS!! STOP LOOKING AT HER AND LOOK AT ME!" Her face was red, and to anyone else it might be because of her anger and yelling, but for the girl it's because her hands were gripping the hem of her shirt, tugging it up and up! In one fell swoop her chest was exposed, she knew she would get in trouble but it was to keep him from losing. "I-I'M GONNA KILL YOU, YOU DUMBASS!!" She screamed, eyes closed, head to the side hoping this last ditch effort would kick him out of whatever spell she had him under.

"You should really listen to me more, you know," Miku suggested, her fingers knitting between each other in front of her face. As her fingers weaves, so did her voice weave in a stronger version of the previous genjutsu, further ensnaring Kaito [Voice of Influence]. It would be hard pressed to believe such face of innocence, however, could do such a thing. Eyes cast hesitantly to the side, lids half-lowered so that long eyelashes fluttered shyly, and a small pout expressing cute disappointment as she complained, "Earlier, I just wanted a hug from you, but then you just gave me a fake." She had begun timidly walking forwards as she spoke, small steps, and at just the right moment, had straightened her sidelong gaze to Kaito with love-shy eyes. She still liked Kaito, but also knew that these false feelings of hers should only be used, not believed.
She never watched Maeko, but Maeko never left her field of vision, either. Her lowered eyes moved off to the side where she could still keep Maeko in the very edges of her sight. From what she could see at this distance, impeccable as her vision may have been she wasn't superman, her job between this couple was finished. Now, she just needed to put the finishing touches on the battle. However, just as Miku, who had gotten close enough that she would be able to grab Kaito's arm if she stretched out hers, was about to suggest the final blow that they try the hug again Maeko erupted.
Her screaming of Kaito's name echoed across the stadium. A part of Miku's mind was still making battle calculations on this interruption. Normally, by the time Voice of Influence has ensnared a target, they were too far gone to be broken out of the genjutsu by just some screaming and stripping halfway across the field. Of course, normally didn't account for the power of love.
On the other hand, this was its own perfect moment if Kaito was distracted by Maeko's screeching. If he was distracted enough to be shaken from the genjutsu, then Miku could just strike a fight-ending blow in the moment the distraction, well, distracted him.
Checkmate.
However, that wasn't important. Miku's act dropped the instant she realized what Maeko was willing to do. Her eyes widened. Her jaw went slack. Then there was a burst of light. A bright flash and an eruption of dirt. Kaito's hair would no doubt become the center of attention once the dust cleared. His soft curls had gotten the super saiyan treatment from residual static shock. Lots and lots of residual static shock. [Lightning Armor]
"AND LOOK AT ME!"
"Ara ara."
Miku, who had suddenly appeared in front of Maeko at what appeared to be the speed of lightning, wouldn't let Maeko finish her stripping and her last sentence was interrupted before it began. She would, at first, be enveloped in a thin veneer of calming, comforting chakra. If she had any small injuries, they would be healed when touched by the sudden energy. Then, she would feel something more physical envelop her potentially exposed body. A soft material. The sweater Miku had dropped earlier was draped in front of Maeko's impressive assets. [Eiseijutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu]
At the moment, the shirt wearing Miku was holding the sweater over Maeko's boobs if they were exposed, pressing her hand into the center of her collarbone. However, if possible, she would prioritize guiding Maeko's own hands up to hold the sweater in place.
If, on the contrary, Maeko tried to move away from Miku, Miku would immediately place a hand on the center of her back, ballroom dance style, to keep the girl's reputation intact.
Whatever the case, Miku had a few choice words. The younger teen looked up to what would have been her senpai if she wasn't a rogue with a flat expression that didn't match the scolding tone that ushered from the mouth at all, "Look at you, making someone younger than you go 'ara ara.' Ne, nee-san, you shouldn't be so reckless no matter how much you like onii-san. Take care of your body, okay? You're so pretty after all."

After surrounding and infusing their body with the Lightning Element, the users nervous system is supercharged providing increased physical abilities. At S-ranked the user gains moderately increased Speed and Reflexes. At S+ranked the user gains Moderately increased Strength and Fortitude. In addition, at S+ the user may choose to distribute the DR values between all four stats at (3) or condense them to two stats of their choice at (6). You may redistribute DR as a supplemental activation, but must pay an S-rank cost, and it does not refresh duration. Lasts 6 total posts. An S-rank or two A-rank collisions will cause the jutsu to dissipate.
Eiseijutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Medical Release: Instant Movement Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: Nearly exactly like the Maruton version of Shunshin, when utilizing Shunshin, upon arrival, or before leaving (choose one), those withing arm's reach will find E - ranked damage healed from their body. Guild Description: See official description. Usable thrice per battle, including the other versions of Shunshin.
Feelings of guilt surged up in Kaito as she insisted she just wanted a hug. He had a bad habit of feeling like he owed strangers the world and hearing this made those feelings manifest in the worst of ways. He, however, didn't stay in the trace for long, as he vaguely heard a familiar voice from worlds away... you dumbass! stop looking at her and -
LOOK AT ME! He whipped his head towards the voice, broken from the seductive spell at the same time static electricity made his hair frizz and stand up. He flinched at the sensation of raiton that he didn't create - then centered his gaze on a blushing Maeko who was presumably lifting her shirt even as it was covered by Miku.
How did Miku get up there so fast?
"Er.. uh..." he turned his head to the side as his mind simultaneously ran through a billion thoughts and blanked out. His blush was more severe than anyone else's, as he found himself suddenly unsure of what to do. He assumed Miku had broken the rules by escaping like that to the crowd - but Maeko was also committing public indency and shouldn't he be putting her under arrest right now? "You.. you would do that for me?" Maeko didn't strike him as an exhibitionist but she was willing to embarrass herself in public to stop him from succumbing farther into a genjutsu.
He had no idea what to make Miku's actions. Was she trying to be kind? Was she more modest than her previous actions had led him to believe? Or was she on a power trip against Maeko, teasing the girl who had helplessly watched him under Miku's spell?
He looked to the announcer, at a loss.

Before she even finished yelling, Maeko was face to face with Miku, those words of her's slipping free. And before she knew it, her arms relaxed and fell to her sides, where they were previously gripping her shirt and had it almost half off. It fell back down and she was just staring Miku right in the eyes. Then she was holding that sweater, as a secondary barrier. What was she doing, why wasn't she reacting, why did she feel so relaxed? Miku's words had her mouth grow slack, jaw dropped. Was she being chastised by this young girl? "Wh-uuuh....yeah...you're right I am sorry. I must be a terrible role model for you." Her face was red as a beat, eyes moving from her then slightly behind her, to that staticy Kaito. They quickly moved back to Miku. "Thank you for the compliment. I will do my best to keep my dignity. I can't believe you cost yourself the match, Miku..."
Dance of the Young Fern: Arena [ A ] The user quickly grows a multitude of tall spikes from their body to create a large forest of bone. This technique increases the range it can manifest by fifteen yards per rank use. At E-ranked the user can only make one bone pillar, while at D-ranked the user may make two. At C-ranked the user may make eight, and then at B-ranked the user can create up to twenty five bone spikes. "I'm glad," Miku's soft, sweet voice lilted pleasantly, and the face without expression suddenly broke into a soft smile. She took a step back and waved goodbye to Maeko, "Now, best of luck to you," her hand swept to the side dramatically as she hopped atop the rails that Maeko had bent into an almost unrecognizable shape, "My job here is done." Her voice full of playfulness, the sudden change in personality a subtle hint, Miku turned and disappeared in a shunshin without having done anything.
Perhaps the whole joke would fall flat on its face after so many long weeks, but Miku was just glad she managed to get the joke through.
