The beginning of...? [Jaggedkit x Bloodkit]

Fea Line

With a soft purr, Bloodkit blinks open her eyes and attempts to do a stretch 'Oh drat...' she thought when she could not see, let alone move. Slowly but surely, she paws her way out of the kitten pile that seems to have formed on top of her. Wriggling her way through, she mumbles sorry under hear breath as she hears other mewls from the other kits.

Breathing a sigh of relief when she draws in a breath of fresh air, she sighs and blinks into the distance. "Ahh, too warm..." she mutters and sighs. Pushing with her hind limbs, she gasps when suddenly the pile gave way and with a startled mew, Bloodkit tumbles away from the pile dizzily. "Wha-..."

Jaggedkit had been sleeping atop his mom when he heard a commotion come from the pile of 'kittypet' kittens. He hadn't quite understood what all that meant yet except that apparently these kitten's mom's used to be owned by twolegs but they were all fun playmates for him so he wasn't exactly complaining.

Still, he stretched himself with a tired yawn as he watched one of the kittens crawl from under the pile and stumble out. His tiny face scrunched into a silent laughter as he about chewed on his toes to keep himself from making a loud noise. He didn't need mom to wake up and call dad.

Stretching gently, Jaggedkit needed his mom's fur a bit before sliding down and waddling over next to the other kitten. "Hiya!" he squeaked softly before bringing a paw to his mouth as a gesture for the other to stay quiet. "Down't wake evweyone jus yet." he mewled, his speech a tad funny as he hadn't quite yet gotten used to the unusually large fang that protruded from his mouth. A curious but mostly harmless defect earned from his father.

Bloodkit blinked owlishly at the kitten that padded up to her. Tilting her head, she shook her head and smiled excitedly. "Hi!!!" She was quite happy to meet new kits and this kit might look like a good friend to make.

"Oh... sorry..." She squeaked softly when he mentioned that everyone was asleep. Batting at the air in front of him, she smiled anyway and moved closer to him.

"I'm Bloodkit, what's your name? I have not seen you before..." She tilted her head to one side again before leaning back and flopping over. Curling her tail to her, she sat back up with a huff and smiled at the kit again.

Jaggedkit laughed. These new kittens were funny. A lot of them flopped over just from the simplest touch in such a fluid motion he almost felt jealous. Why couldn't he do that?

But then he had a super strong dad so Jaggedkit was more focused on being a super strong kitten! Still. "Bwoodkit? Thas a coowl name! I'wm Jaggedkit!" he nodded proudly, puffing up his chest a bit and raising his head to emphasis the tiny white patch of fur just under his chin. His wildly fluffy tail twitched excitedly. "My mama's Woodsmowk!" he said and pointed with a paw towards the sleeping black striped she cat. "We was bowrn here. You gais is new huh!" he meowed, stepping closer and glancing over at the pile of kittens she crawled out of. He wondered if they all flopped as much as she did.

Bloodkit smiled happily and waved her paw in a hello. "White fluff on your chin!!! That is cool!" She tilted her head in the direction Jaggedkit was pointing at and blinked at them. "Your mummy has stripes!" She squeaked happily, before raising a hand to her mouth in attempt to dampen the noise level. She forgotten that everyone was still sleeping. Lookibg around, she made sure that everyone was not disturbed before removing her paw. She was a little excitable when meeting other cats.

"My mummy is somewhere in there... " Bloodkit gestured to the pile of fluff she crawled out off. She batted at the air in front of Jaggedkit again and smiled. "Daddy has stripes on his tail too!" She giggled and flopped over again, paws in the air for a bit before leaning over to look at Jaggedkit. "Want to explore? Mummy did not allow us to explore earlier..."

Jaggedkit tried hard to see where the mom was in that fluff pile. It was only easy because of her size and he laughed. It looked both cozy but annoying over there, he almost wondered how she handled it. But when she mentioned explore, his ears perked up and he grinned. "Ooh! Esplowre, yes! I know a good spot to esape frowm." he grinned, bringing a paw to rub at his nose before and waving at her to follow him.

He wandered over towards the side of the entrance, just behind his mom's tail. He wiggled over it and sniffed at a small opening big enough for a kitten to slip through and explore the camp. They'd surely fix this later when they found out but for nooooww, well it was open.

"Where! Where!- Oooooooo" She really needs to learn to keep a little more quiet, considering some of the other cats are still asleep.

Excited, Bloodkit followed, head tilted to one side in confusion as Jaggedkit wandered over to a...tail... wait... She was about to ask when he wriggled over it and disappeared. "Ooo, secret spots!" she whispered and followed out the small opening big enough for a small kit.

Eyes wide when they exited the hole, she gleefully hopped about then to him before flopping over, relaxing and stretching despite the fact that they are in a place no kit should be. "Ooo! Look at the flower!"  

[Fea Line]

Jaggedkit laughed and playfully bapped at her ears, leaping around her a bit before stopping and sniffing at the flower. He stuck his nose deep into its core, taking a big sniff before pulling back, face scrunched up. Suddenly he let out the loudest sneeze, blinking and falling quickly to the ground. "Oh no...." he gulped, hoping none of the bigger cats heard him, especially mom or dad....

Bloodkit giggled as Jaggedkit and attempted to bat back but he suddenly disappeared, watching him sniff at the flower with vigour. Giggling, she did not realise what could happen until-

ACHOO!

Bloodkit jumped, giggling but then stopped, eyes wide. "Oh no..." Turning to the hole they came from, she stared at it for a few moments. 'Our play time!!' she thought with a huff, hoping no cat peered through the gap. When the coast was clear, she sagged in relief, turning to Jaggedkit. "You okay?" She batted at him a little in comfort.

Jaggedkit rubbed a paw over his nose only when no big cat seemed to be coming. Sighing in relief, he nodded, taking a moment to lean slightly on Bloodkit. "Yeah. Sowwy, didn't mean to be so louwed." he shook his head, craning his tiny head to try and smooth down shoulder fur before falling over.

Staying in that flopped down position, he laughed, reaching up to bat at Bloodkit again. "Long as no one finds dis spot, we can snek for lots playtime!" he nodded, kind of spinning in a circle on his side to try and attack her tail.

Bloodkit sighed, happy to know that Jaggedkit is okay. "Yay!!! More playtime!!" She whispered loudly, bouncing a little. She stared at the hole again, giggling and flopping over before getting up. She helped him smooth down his fur...well, attempted at least. It was hard when she still was not able to control her sheathing of her claws...

"Secret spots!" Excited, she did not see him try to reach for her tail and squeaked when Jaggedkit managed to get it. She twitched away and turned to bat at him, hoping to pin him. Giggling all the while, she then stretched and attempted to grab at Jaggedkit's ear.
