Berpaw about jumped out of his fur when his mom approached, startling him. He had been lost in his thoughts and hadn't quite heard her coming. When he finally realized it was her, he screamed. "REALLY?!" he said wide eyed, following behind her like a lost puppy as she went over to his siblings. "Can we get it now? Can we can we?" he asked impatiently, rearing up on his hind paws and batting at her side.
He glanced over at his siblings and purred loudly. "You guys are ok!!! Mom said we can have a super big fish!" he cried, going over to nuzzle the pair of them, batting at their ears and licking at their cheeks. "Please tell me you guys are hungry.... cause I'm sooo hungry."
Russetstorm took a moment to breath now that the fox had been dealt with. Watching as his apprentice was swept up by his mother he paused for a soft laugh, though it didn't last long. Hearing Barkfang's harsh words towards the leader he hissed though kept his fur calm. Not giving the strange she cat the time of day he darted over to Shadowstar's side, not saying anything, just sinking his teeth into the fox to help her, as well as Longclaw, begin moving the fox out of the camp.
Wildflower nodded to Silentblaze but when her words were echoed by Barkfang, she hissed. Storming up to the other cat she put a paw down. "Really? After all we went through? Do you want to end up skinned outside this camp with the rest of them?" she eyed the she cat but didn't wait for an answer. Instead she turned tail, hoping her lashing tail would indeed smack Barkfang in the face, before jumping in to help the others move the fox out of the camp. It was a shame it might be sick, they could all have feasted well tonight.

Fawnbriar's fur stood on end when Foxfur announced that the kitten had green cough. Oh she hoped her babies didn't get near that kit. Shuddering, she hoped none of them had anything to do with the poor thing. Mother instinct ended with her own kits and their well-being. Getting them out of camp was safer, and it would make her feel better.
Laughing at her son, thank the forestclan for Bearpaw's great attitude. Bring up food and everyone gets a better day. Sitting near her babies she told them, "Once your Mentors say you can go, we'll go find a fish as big as Bearpaw." One for him and one more for the other kits. With all the tension going around, momma instinct said get them out.
Maybe with Sootpelt for added safety after the border incident.
Owlpaw laughed at his brother, he pawed back at him him hissing playfully. "I could eat." Mom said they needed their mentor's approval but his was pulling the fox back. Looking back up at her he said, "I think Russetstorm is busy?" Maybe it was okay to go fishing? Or should he be helping with the fox? Oh what to do!

Shadowstar looked to Longclaw first, her growling easing up now that there was a clan mate there. The effort became even easier when Russetstorm stepped in to help as well. She was equal parts relieved, greatful and proud that they stepped in. The other part of her wanted to wince now that they were in contact with the fox as well.
If the forestclan has any mercy left, the shebeast isn't infected. The three of them would get her out of the camp in no time. This was the best thing for foxkit as well. Seeing its mother dead would be traumatizing. That she knew first paw.
