Cartwright vs Kenneth Orman

The arena lights dim and a spotlight shines on the arena entrance as Weak Aside by Bloodbath blasts out of the arena speakers.

♫We're born to reign as masters
To ashes we'll burn the pastures
Repell their ways back to nothingness♫

Loud boos are heard from the crowd as Cartwright enters the arena wearing a black robe which shines in the light thanks to the red sequins that are all over it. Cartwright basks in the spotlight, looking towards the fans and embracing the jeers before he begins to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring.

♫Chaos in symmetry
This glorious victory
In darkness only we can see♫

Cartwright steps up the steel steps and enters the ring through the ropes. Cartwright stands in the center of the ring posing, his arms out to his sides and hands open with his eyes closed as he listens to the surrounding fans. Cartwright removes his entrance robe to reveal his black wrestling tights and boots.

Tony Schiavone: "What is the matter with Cartwright?! Aligning himself with three ruffians and injuring Salem Croft last Nitro?! Look at what he has become, he looks like such a pompous p***k!"

Larry Zbysko: "There is nothing wrong with Cartwright! In fact, I think that he has found the edge he needs to get to the top of WCWG once again! I am all for this change in attitude!"

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth watches the entrance and waits. The bell rings and he moves forward, offering a lockup to Cartwright  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright looks at Kenneth Orman as if he is a piece of dirt under his shoe. Kenneth wants a lock-up with Cartwright? Cartwright humors him by accepting the lock-up, looking to transition into a tight side headlock!

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth finds himself caught in the headlock by the current number one contender. Cartwright is apparently a bit more aggressive now, so Kenneth finds it harder to escape. Still, he has to try, as he attempts to pull Cartwright back a step only to try to push him off to the ropes  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright tries to keep control of Kenneth's head but after a struggle, The Lad is sent across the ring towards the ropes. Rebounding off of them, Cartwright prepares to lift off of his feet with a spinning wheel kick!

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth is caught by surprise, hit right j. The face with the spinning wheel kick and knocked to the mat. He might have been expecting a less risky move on the rebound  

[Cartwright]

It appears that Cartwright is continuing his aggressive attitude with his attack, which pays-off on this instance as Kenneth is knocked down to the mat. Returning to his feet, Cartwright taunts the fans by telling them how good he is before attempting a series of stomps to his grounded opponent!

 

[Drako Damone]

Well Kenneth might get some sympathy from the fans, for all the good it does as Cartwright stomps away at the man. Each stomp rattles him, though eventually he rolls to the side to try to get up again  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright laughs at Kenneth as he steps backwards to allow him to try and stand himself up. The Lad motions for him to hurry on up, so that he can continue showing-off!

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth gets up when he's not assaulted further. He realizes he's being toyed with and that just won't work. As such he charges in and aims a kick to Cartwright's gut, attempting to double him over and follow with a double ax handle to the spine  

[Cartwright]

Kenneth begins to show some fire, surprising Cartwright with a sudden kick to the gut and following with a double ax handle smash to the back that drops him down to his knees!

Tony Schiavone: "That's more like it Ken! Don't let Cartwright get away with treating you lightly!"

Larry Zbysko: "If he showed this anger at the start he wouldn't have been so easy!"

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth isn't done there and the fans begin to cheer him on as he looks to tee off with some right fists to the head while he has the veteran down  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright's head is rocked back as Kenneth fires-off rights towards him but The Lad isn't enjoying this and tries to cut Kenneth off with an eye rake!

 

[Drako Damone]

Kenneth find himself cut off abruptly, much to the displeasure of the crowd as Cartwright rakes his eyes, forcing hum to stumble backwards ribbing his eyes
