Not so long ago there once was a little bird. She was a timid and shy little bird for she was also very very tiny. Almost everything was bigger than she, and many of them would have preyed upon her if given the slightest chance.

One day whilst running from a much larger predator, the little bird ran into a much bigger predator. Instead of trying to eat her, he protected her. At first she was unsure of him for he was so large that she could easily walk under his belly and barely have her head feathers brush. He also carried the features of a cat.

She knew not all felines were bad however, since her own familiar was a mountain lioness who'd raised her. The large cat also had his own familiar, a bird. Little bit by little bit, she began to trust him. She continued to travel with him. Their bond grew and deepened. Eventually she realized she'd come to love the large cat and wanted to be with him forever and form their own herd.

Thus it was that Meoquanee and Caesar met.

Rules
1. This herd is restricted to cat and bird types of soquili. Full sized and minis both accepted.
2. This herd is restricted to cat and bird types of familiars.
3. Having a paired familiar is not required to join. It is encouraged you get one as quickly as possible.
4. Familiar must be opposite of your own. Feline soq bond to birds and bird soq bond to felines only.
5. No eating fellow members.
6. No eating someone else’s familiar.
7. Non-cat/bird soq/fam mates are not accepted at this time.

Acceptance is based upon individual appearance on a case-by-case basis.

Sentries- These members often have great eyes and keep a look out for danger.
Guards- These members are strong and protect the weaker or more timid members of the herd.
Nannies- Caretakers of young foals while their parents are busy.
Youth- Foals of the herd


Festivals/Events

The Search- When a soq goes out to find a familiar to bond with if there is not one available within the herd.
The Bond- When a new soq-familiar pair is formed, a small celebration is held to congratulate the pair on the forming of their pact.

Personality: Victor is a rather self assured but some how shy bird. Its not that he is unsure of himself more he tries is best to speak to others but for the most part doesn't really know how to go about it or can't find the right words to articulate what he wants to say. Some say he's rather good flirt but speaking in silly inuendoes is just his way of trying to be funny and the easiest things for him to blurt out. His main passion is nature specifically other birds but he also loves finding out what makes plants grow and can often be found speaking to plants in a much easier fashion than he does with other soq.
