Allson nodded to her,"I am unsure my lady", she told her,"Come let me help you dry off and prepare you a dress", she helped the princess out of the tub and helped dry her off and led her to a lavish apartment with a bed and chest of drawers and a pretty vanity set,"This will be your temporary room until we can find you permanent quarters", said allison as she went and pulled out 3 dress the ball gown the casual town dress and formal towndress,"Which of these would you like to wear your highness", she said displaying them neatly on the bed.
Jacque was day dreaming in the dining hall gazing at the sea from his home when he heard a maid coming in,"Oh nothing right now Penelope", he told her,"I am expecting a beautiful mermaid princess to dine with me any moment now she is with Allison", he told her sighing in rapturous joy,"She is said to like books for she writes and reads", he said rather heart struck, he heard about the ball,"Yes I will tell richard I will attend for if not he will be upset and we are very best friends", he said,"I shall ask the lady Lydia tonight if she wishes to join me", he said smiling. |

Allison, I like this one. What are these used for? I never wore human clothes before. Lydia pointed out the causal town dress then put the flower hairclip back in her hair. Each of the clothes Allison had included undergarments for Lydia to wear as well. Then Lydia looked at the ball gown, it was pink, white & had a matching pearl necklace. Lydia giggled at the thought then blushed at the thought of seeing Jacque & hoped to see his books so that one day she could write one of her own and share it on both land and sea. She would have quite a story to tell Aphrodite, Princess Athena's mother. Allison, what's your favorite color? Mine's pink.

Majesty, of course. Shall I read the invitation to you when it comes tomorrow? What's the mermaid princess's name & what's she like? I think having a mermaid princess here sounds like a lovely guest. Penny was happy for Jacque, since he was falling in love with a mermaid. By the way, some of the adventurers that we commissioned should be returning soon. I also have a present for our new visitor.
Penny held out magic hand mirror. Shall I give this to you so that the mermaid can have it? With this mirror she can see anything she wishes to see or anyone she wishes to talk to. I think this is a wonderful gift. Since we have a large wall mirror that acts as the same way. So we can see what the other Crystal Nations have been doing. Once, I used it to see how St. Ivalice is doing and they polished up their Water Crystal in the Crystal Room. They were also preparing for the upcoming Full Moon Festival in the Town Square.

Allson gave her the new dress gathering up her undergarmetns and shoes she helped the princess into the new clothes,"They are human clothes the ball gown is something that you will most likely be wearing if the prince takes you to the upcoming ball..", she said,"Though I wouldn't get your hopes up! Prince Jacque is very very popular with the ladies and tends to have many women invite him to the ball", she said casually,"There you are your highness if you shall sit I will brush out your hair from the bath and dry it with my magic blower", she told her,"My favorite color is dark green", she told her,"I like the richness of it", she informed her while she brushed and blow dried her hair.
Jacque looked at the gift in which lydia was to receive and he smiled,"This is a lovely gift Ms. penelope I am sure that Lydia will love it for she must miss her mermaid friend Athena the other princess of the sea", he told her,"Here why dont you wrap it nicely and give it to her when she comes to dinner?", he said politely, checking the grandfather clock,"Allison will not be late she is very punctual", he told her. |

Allison continued to finish up her hair and brushed it out as well checking the clock she told the princess,'Please follow me", she said she led Lydia to the princes at exactly 5:00 as she watched his smile beam,"Your highness I present the lady Lydia to you", said Allison in a very formal voice.
Jacque nodded to penny,"Yes penny that is a lovely idea", he looked up at the clock in excitement,"Its almost 5!!", he said rather happily waiting as his foot tapped with joy seeing lydia he felt his heart leap out of his chest and he was out of his chair instantly you could say he was very love struck,"Oh I knew you would bring her, Princess Lydia it is an honor to have you dine with me this evening I am most glad you came you look very beautiful", he said leading her over to a chair he pulled it out for her to sit down so he could push her into the table in a gentleman manner. |

Allison watched as she was treated like such a princess and in her heart she was rather jealous but was careful not to show it lest she be in trouble she turned her attention to the kitchen,"I shall be on my way your highness"< she said seeing as it was to lovestruck with the mermaid princess Allison sighed and left the room to do chores and clean the restroom and make everything tidy and neat again before she went crazy.
Jacque smiled as he helped her into the chair and then he gazed at her with love-struck purple eyes as she began to ask about the silverware,"That is silverware we use it to eat with I'll show you I promise"< he said rather dreamily only for penny's voice to snap him out of his sense as she explained about the gift,"Oh yes Ms. Penelope here got you a lovely present do open it Lydia", he told her watching as the servants brought in there meal and he lifted the plate and seen the small chickens with the vegatable sides and he felt rather hungry,"This is how you eat with a fork Lydia", he said picking up the fork he stabbed a piece of brocolli and proceeded to eat it, after chewing he wiped his face out of polite courtesy and then explained to her,"This here is a knife and we use these to help cut things be careful they can be very sharp", he told her displaying to her how he cut up his chicken. |
