Cartwright vs Robert Orman

The arena lights dim and a spotlight shines on the arena entrance as Weak Aside by Bloodbath blasts out of the arena speakers.

♫We're born to reign as masters
To ashes we'll burn the pastures
Repell their ways back to nothingness♫

Loud boos are heard from the crowd as Cartwright enters the arena wearing a black robe which shines in the light thanks to the red sequins that are all over it. Cartwright basks in the spotlight, looking towards the fans and embracing the jeers before he begins to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring.

♫Chaos in symmetry
This glorious victory
In darkness only we can see♫

Cartwright steps up the steel steps and enters the ring through the ropes. Cartwright stands in the center of the ring posing, his arms out to his sides and hands open with his eyes closed as he listens to the surrounding fans. Cartwright removes his entrance robe to reveal his black wrestling tights and boots.

Tony Schiavone: "Cartwright's opposition continues to get tougher as tonight he is facing Robert Orman!"

Larry Zbysko: "Robert is a big man! His brother Kenneth wasn't small at six foot five but this guy is seven foot tall! We will see if Cartwright can exert his dominance like he did previously against an even bigger and heavier opponent!"

 

[Drako Damone]

Robert watches Cartwright enter, his hair fallen over his face, therein hiding his expression. Not that he shows emotion anyway. He stands in the center of the ring and waits  

[Cartwright]

Robert gives nothing away from his facial expressions, but he is standing in the middle of Cartwright's ring as the bell signals the start of the match. The Lad hadn't finished his entrance and the giant was already getting in his way! Cartwright looks at him from the top left turnbuckle, slowly walking towards his opponent with a cocky look on his face before trying to surprise him with a quick leg sweep to the knee!

 

[Drako Damone]

Robert's leg is swept out from under him, bring him down to a knee. If pain registered, one can't see it on his face  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright looks chuffed with himself to see his plan to chop the big man down working so effectively. The Lad wants to punish his downed opponent with some nasty, stiff kicks to the chest and shoulder areas!

 

[Drako Damone]

Robert eats the first kick in the chest, but that seems to wake him up as he grabs Cartwright's leg to block the next one, then attempts to simply shove him to the mat and get back up again  

[Cartwright]

Oh crap! Cartwright doesn't like the look of a woken Robert, who pushes him away and down on to the mat, giving Robert the space he needs to stand!

 

[Drako Damone]

Robert is vertical again, and now looks to go after the number one contender and pull him to his feet, then toss him to the corner  

[Cartwright]

Robert continues to use his strength to his advantage as he easily drags Cartwright back up and rag dolls him into the turnbuckle. The Lad tries to taunt the big man towards, telling him that his brother is crap, in order to get him close enough for an eye poke!

Robert didn't need taunting. He was already coming in to take Cartwright's head off when he's stopped by an eye poke  

[Cartwright]

The taunting may not have been needed but Cartwright would have done it anyway! Fortunately for Cartwright, his fingers were able to find Robert's eyes as planned and he looks to take advantage by grabbing the temporarily blinded man by the head and slamming it face first into the mat with an English Bulldog!

 

[Drako Damone]

for the first time thus far, Robert is taken down by a bulldog. His face hits the mat and he rolls onto his back out of reflex  

[Cartwright]

With the big man down, the smart thing to do would be to cover him for the pin and that is exactly what Cartwright does!

Robert kicks out at two and begins to make his way to his feet again, not finished yet
