Midnight Dreary Realm | Crow Summons | Stat Cap: 4
The Midnight Dreary Realm is an expansive dead forest cloaked in eternal night and is the home of the crows. A giant blood-red full moon constantly looms over the tree-filled hollow. The blood moon will occasionally form Tomoe and resemble the Sharingan and track the movements of visitors to the hollow. The moon essentially serves as the third eye of Yatagarasu the three-legged crow king. The forgotten lore of the crows is ancient. In the ancient days of yore, the first crow Yatagarasu began as a white-feathered bird who was the doomsaying messenger of the gods to the mortals. He was given the power to see along the tides of fate to aid in his role as the messenger. The crows were hatched into creation first by Evergreen followed by the ravens who hatched late and thus were only slightly differently formed. When Yatagarasu delivered unsavory news to the god Utu the fire god scorched him in his fury turning his feathers black and reddening his eyes before casting him and the others out. All crows now have black feathers and are masters of the fire element as a result. Crow flame is distinctly black in color. Because of their history of delivering ill-fated messages from the gods they have unrivaled skill in genjutsu. The red-eyed crows of the Midnight Dreary Realm are also rumored to be the original bearers of the Sharingan hence their pact with members of the Uchiha clan. At the bottom of the valley is a giant crow's nest surrounded by hundreds of dead trees called the Great Roost. Hundreds of crows sit on their branches while Yatagarasu lays in the center of the Roost. The nest is a nexus of crow activity when they are not taking to the sky. In the nest is where the very vague visions of divining the past and future are most potent. False images always cloud the elements of truth so that the crows can jealously guard their knowledge. These prophecies are often doom-driven and destroy the arrogant humans who seek them so beware when traversing this realm. Politics between the majority of crows and ravens under Yatagarasu against the rebel raven supremacists led from the shadows by Senshu often take place in the Roost's court. These birds are highly intelligent, devious, and conniving so even further caution by visitors must be taken. After Satoshi Genburyuichirousuke spread a religion worshipping Yatagarasu in Amegakure, Yatagarasu's soul ascended to godhood while his corporeal form still rules the Midnight Dreary Realm as the boss summon.
Way of the Crow: Unlike other summons whose effects is often palpable or easily witnessed, the crow’s is the way of subtle twisting of the opponent’s mind against them. Genjutsu that is cast and empowered with sage chakra does not only grant overwhelming, but allows the user to make use of crows as a medium that is present in all of their gen. This adds a sense of melancholy about their genjutsu that causes either mental stress or insanity (chosen upon entering sage mode) equivalent to the jutsu's rank. If already having a status effect then it's stage is increased by one, and if already stage four it instead lingers for a single post after kai stacking with the genjutsu discipline.
▰▰▰ Akumu Rank D | Chakra: 390 | Stamina: 300 Str: 0 | Spd: 0 | Agi: 2 | End: 0 Akumu is a standard-sized crow who is quite young and mischievous. He is the most beloved of all the crows and is known for being everyone's friend. Because of Akumu's popularity he tends to be accompanied by a group of crows.
Ability:Murder Akumu is always summoned with a murder of five dozen other crows who hide on the summoner's person such as in a coat and/or in the surrounding area (topic). The crows in Akumu's murder are tricky and with an E-Rank amount of chakra spent will use their caws or wing flapping to trigger the summoner's casted genjutsu on a target. The summoner pays the cost for the genjutsu while the crows pay for the E-Rank trigger cost. Additionally, for an E-Rank amount of chakra, the summoner can dissolve into a flock of crows and reform their body. This flock of crows is then used for the following techniques.
▰ Murder Clone | Rank D | Cost: Chakra At least ten crows become a perfect clone of the summoner. When struck by an attack, the crows disperse and then re-materialize as another clone for no additional activation but at an additional chakra cost. This can happen up to three times in one battle. A maximum of six murder clones can be created at the same time.
▰ Murder's Subterfuge | Rank D | Cost: Chakra A minimum of ten crows will substitute with the summoner. This takes up a substitution slot and performs the same basic function. However, the crows will often fly toward the opponent to blind them and leave the target open for a counter-attack by the summoner. They can also form up to two murder clones after the substitution.
▰ Murder Mirage ▰Category: Illusory ▰Rank: C ▰Primary Sense: Sight ▰Additional Senses: Sound, Touch ▰Base Duration: 3 Posts ▰Upkeep: 10 Chakra ▰Trigger: Sound, Crow's Caw or Wing Flapping ▰Source: Illusion Images ▰Status Effect: None ▰Description: After the murder of crows caw or flap their wings the target will perceive a torrent of crows circling them. The target then becomes temporarily blinded and distracted allowing for yet another attack opening. They can can feel the claws digging into them and the wind from the wings and hear their haunting caws.
▰▰▰ Kioku & Zencho Rank C | Chakra: 700 | Stamina: 450 Str: 0 | Spd: 0 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Kioku and Zencho are the cackling twin ravens of the roost and the minions of Senshu. These ravens are three feet tall so are quite large. They are raven supremacists unlike the majority of the ravens and often do Senshu's bidding for his plots to take the crown from Yatagarasu. They coordinate well with the crows in combat when summoned but have a clear disdain for them. Kioku is female and Zencho is male and the twins often work together in combat with fire and illusions. They are masters of chain and instance cantrip-style genjutsu and often use them to support the summoner and other crows and ravens in combat. Their personalities are mischievous and they often hauntingly cackle in unison. The appearance of the twin ravens is often culturally depicted as an omen for mass death and tragedy.
Ability: The Ominous Prophecy Any genjutsu cast by one raven can be cast by the other at half the chakra cost. If successfully triggered, the second genjutsu layers onto the previous one as a chain genjutsu no matter what the base technique's original category was but will use the original technique's duration. When the first raven's genjutsu is released from the chained one from the second raven begins. This ability has a three post cooldown.
▰ Haunting Omen ▰Category: Instance ▰Rank: C ▰Primary Sense: Touch ▰Additional Senses: Sight, Sound ▰Base Duration: 1 Post ▰Upkeep: None ▰Trigger: Sound, Crow's Caw ▰Source: Physical Phantasm ▰Status Effect: None ▰Description: Kioku and/or Zencho caw loudly to activate a powerful but short genjutsu. This cantrip forces the target to believe that their skin is rotting as if deceased before falling into a coffin that locks above them in the center of a dark graveyard. This simulates the feeling of being buried alive no matter how hard the victim resists.
▰ A Feast for Crows ▰Category: Chain ▰Rank: C ▰Primary Sense: Touch ▰Additional Senses: Sight, Sound ▰Base Duration: 3 Posts ▰Upkeep: 10 Chakra ▰Trigger: Flapping Wings ▰Source: Physical Phantasm ▰Status Effect: None ▰Description: Kioku and/or Zencho take flight or flap their wings to activate the chained technique that takes effect once the previous genjutsu is released. This genjutsu makes the target(s) believe that dozens of crows and ravens are descending on them and ripping their flesh from bone with their beaks. This consumption is incredibly painful and simulates the feeling of being dead.
▰ Black Flame of the Grave | Rank B | Cost: Chakra The twin ravens open their beaks and breathe out a ghastly black flame with purple energy outlining it. This fire then combines to form a ten-foot-tall flaming raven that resembles their master Senshu. This fire crow is then released and will follow the target until it consumes them or is extinguished. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.
▰▰▰ Noroi Rank B | Chakra: 1000 | Stamina: 840 Str: 2 | Spd: 2 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Noroi is a horse-sized crow and the most physically-based crow/raven summon in terms of skillset. She enjoys when her summoner rides on her back as she is exceptionally large but also fast in flight. She combines her black flames with her beak, talons, and wings to enhance her physical abilities. Noroi is the least conniving of her kind and is quite brave and honest causing incessant teasing from the others. She is also fiercely loyal to her king Yatagarasu and is frequently suspicious of Senshu and his plots.
Ability:Back into the Tempest Noroi is an incredibly fast bird with the ability to fly and otherwise move at the maximum passive speed outside of combat and the maximum active speed when in combat.
▰ Black Flame Dive | Rank B | Cost: Chakra & Stamina Ebony fire will coat the tip of Noroi's beak with four long streams going over her body on all sides. She will then fly as fast as she can to collide with the target while leading with her beak. This usually takes place during a dive from above but has many more possible applications. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.
▰ Black Fire Talons | Rank B | Cost: Chakra & Stamina Noroi will coat her sharp talons with black fire before attacking. She tends to employ this technique while flying above to grab the opponent as prey. Another possible strategy among many is that she kicks with the massive flaming talons on the ground level. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.
▰ Exploding Ebony Plume | Rank B | Cost: Chakra & Stamina Noroi will flap her wings repeatedly and release hundreds of feathers toward her target. One of those feathers will then explode into a twenty-foot sphere of black fire. This explosion of flame will then consume all that surrounds it for up to three posts. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.
▰▰▰ Senshu Rank A | Chakra: 1300 | Stamina: 640 Str: 2 | Spd: 2 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Senshu is a raven who is only slightly larger than the horse-sized Noroi. He is the second eldest member of the roost and the traitorous advisor to Yatagarasu. Senshu is patient but jealous and highly conniving. He enjoys politics and creating overly-complicated plots to undermine the crow king. Senshu leads a small caucus of rebellious ravens who do his bidding as his minions. Because of his vastly inferior size and strength compared to Yatagarasu he can only attempt to usurp his crown indirectly. His personality is stalwart in Yatagarasu's company but traitorous otherwise and he has taken great steps to ensure that his king sees his usefulness to keep him around for his eventual rise to the crown. He secretly believes in raven supremacy although finds that most of his fellow ravens actually feel a warm kinship with their crow siblings. Senshu is very specialized in his illusion craft rather than flames or physical prowess.
Ability:Songbird of Torment Senshu can add one sense to any genjutsu that he triggers with his vocalizations. He cannot increase a genjutsu's sense manipulation above the maximum of five.

They materialize as phantoms surrounding them and torturing them with screams of agony. The victim will believe that their loved ones died with vivid visions of what caused their demise. This will drive the victim of the horrible genjutsu to madness making them susceptable to further genjutsu.

As they demonize the target and attack their emotional weaknesses they will attempt to slay the target through whatever abilities the target knows the illusory ally to have or common fighting methods.
▰ Damnation of the Ebony Flame ▰Category: Enchantment ▰Rank: A ▰Primary Sense: Touch ▰Additional Senses: Sight, Sound, Scent ▰Base Duration: 5 Posts ▰Upkeep: 40 Chakra ▰Trigger: Sound, Crow's Caw ▰Source: Physical Phantasm ▰Status Effect: Mental Stress ▰Description: Senshu caws loudly and upon hearing his song the targets see him launch a black fireball from his beak. It is forty feet in circumference and when launched will consume the target(s). They will feel as if their flesh is being scorched by the hellish black flames. This is incredibly painful but they can also smell the ash and the burning of their flesh. Immense pain and mental stress will afflict the opponent as well.
▰▰▰ Yatagarasu Rank S | Chakra: 2100 | Stamina: 890 Str: 2 | Spd: 2 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Yatagarasu is the ancient king of the crows and the former messenger of the gods. When he delivered unfortunate news to the gods he was burned and cast out which turned his all-white feathers black and gave him an affinity for flames along with the other crows. Yatagarasu is worshipped as a god by many through the Prophets of Yatagarasu religion and, as a result, his soul ascended to godhood while his physical form remains as a summon. His beak is cracked and he generally appears to be a creature of vast antiquity. He has the unique power to divine past and future events. This has given him incredible knowledge that he enjoys using to trick and torment humans so beware when seeking his knowledge. Yatagarasu will never tell a human directly what the future may hold for them but will instead offer a possible future to most effectively manipulate them. He has a 240-foot wingspan and is famous for having three legs. This enormous tripedal crow can cast incredibly powerful genjutsu and katon techniques.
Ability:The Cursed Black Ring A black ring of nature chakra appears over the battlefield (topic) and surrounds it when Yatagarasu is summoned. The summoner's and other crows' katon gain one rank higher effectiveness when cast within the ring. Only one katon technique per post gets this boost and the ring disappears when Yatagarasu leaves the area.
▰ Cursed Flame Wing | Rank S | Cost: Chakra Ebony fire consumes Yatagarasu's massive wings before he flaps them and releases a one hundred foot stream of black flame. This fire seems otherworldly and has no weakness to water. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.
▰ The Field of Fire | Rank S+ | Cost: Chakra Yatagarasu raises a massive inferno of black fire starting from the center of the Cursed Black Ring. The fire then spreads outwards at an incredible speed consuming the entire ground level before stopping at the edge of the ring (topic). He will usually retrieve the summoner by flight before utilizing such a massively devastating technique. Those who are consumed by the Field of Fire suffer fourth-tier burning effects. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.

The crow then pins them against a surface and begins feasing on their intestines by ripping open the stomach. The target(s) will feel immense pain as they see their organs being destroyed by the mighty king crow as well as hear the ripping of flesh and smell and taste the profusive bleeding. This potent hallucination enchantment will trigger intense mental stress.
▰▰▰ Contract Holder Summon: This crow can only be summoned by the contract holder while the scroll is intact and in the holder's possession. He can be replaced by a custom A-Rank summon if desired.
▰▰▰ Uranai Rank A | Chakra: 1300 | Stamina: 640 Str: 2 | Spd: 2 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Uranai (占い, Divination, Oracle) appears as a horse-sized crow with cloudy glowing red eyes. His feathers are covered in red runic symbols that glow with his eyes when he casts a technique. He is one of the eldest crows in the Midnight Dreary Realm and has been immensely loyal to Yatagarasu for ages. As a result of his devotion, he has been given the sacred duty of protecting the crow contract scroll when there is not a trusted human contract holder. Uranai's role in Yatagarasu's cult is as the archivist charged with managing the crow lore and other sacred texts. Uranai is nicknamed the "Oracle" among the crows for his impressive abilities in reading prophecy that are second only to Yatagarasu. During prophecy readings in the roost, Uranai is the rite master who uses his runic seals to aid in the reading rituals. Because of his impressive skills, he is the assumed heir to the roost should Yatagarasu fall although Uranai is too obsessed with his current duties to covet such a role. He is stern and stalwart as a result of his many centuries of responsibilities. Uranai's soul is intimately tied to the contract scroll and thus he can only be summoned by the crow contract holder while the scroll is in their possession. Even though he is highly capable of genjutsu and katon like other crows, his combat specialty is in fuuinjutsu. He places scraggly red runes that glow brightly when activated. Although powerful, he prefers to take a support role and fight alongside other crows. If he needs to inflict damage on an enemy he prefers to use his runes as hexes to weaken them.
Ability:Runemaster When Uranai is summoned, a variably ranked runic seal appears on him and all other crows and ravens that are on the battlefield. These runes prevent the crows from being banished back to the Midnight Dreary Realm even when defeated unless the rune is targeted and removed by equally powerful chakra. These runes are a supplemental action but each ranked rune takes from Uranai's chakra pool.
▰ Rite of Rejuvenation [ Wakagaeri no Gishiki ] | Rank: A | Cost: Chakra Uranai places one rune on any surface to restore up to 100 chakra to the reserves of all other crows on the battlefield. This rune may only be placed once and has a five post cooldown. The 100 chakra may also increase a crow's maximum reserves if none of the crow's chakra is depleted.
▰ Rite of Agony [ Kumon no Gishiki ] | Rank: A | Cost: Chakra Uranai places a rune on any surface to increase the duration of all genjutsu cast by other crows by [2] posts. This does not apply to instance genjutsu. This technique lasts for [5] posts.
▰ Hexed Rite of Plague [ Ekibyō no Hekusedo Gishiki ] | Rank: S | Cost: Chakra Uranai casts a glowing green rune with a ghastly appearance either directly onto the target or as a massive rune under their feet. This rune inflicts tier four disease and tier four hex onto the target causes their skin to become necrotic among other afflictions. This rune lasts for eight posts.
▰▰▰ Mythical Summon: This crow can only be summoned by a sage who has signed a separate contract with him after an S+ ranked mission. He can be replaced by a different S+ rank summon if desired.
▰▰▰ Yamiho Rank S+ | Chakra: 2800 | Stamina: 400 Str: 2 | Spd: 2 | Agi: 4 | End: 0 Yamiho is a mythical summon of the crow contract. He is a bijuu-sized crow made entirely of Amaterasu flames with glowing purple eyes. He is known in legend as the "dread phoenix" or the "dark phoenix" and is known to be reduced to ashes at the end of every millennium only to be born again from the ashes. His first birth occurred when Yatagarasu and the crows and ravens were burned by Utu and cast down to Earth. When Yatagarasu landed and his flames blackened and mixed with Evergreen's nature chakra, Yamiho was born as an aspect of the black flames themselves. He is therefore intimately connected with the flames of Amaterasu. Because of Yatagarasu's existence as an amalgamation of Amaterasu and nature chakra, he is incredibly powerful but lacks free will. Therefore, his actions are under the command of Yatagarasu who controls the nature chakra of the Midnight Dreary Realm and any crow sage that he is contracted with. He therefore acts as Yatagarasu's secret weapon as Amaterasu incarnate but can also be controlled by a trusted sage. Additionally, a crow sage will be unharmed by the flames that constitute the phoenix's body and should be able to ride on his back.
Ability:Dread Phoenix As a phoenix made from Amaterasu flames, he is able to use Amaterasu techniques that the summoner knows and is completely immune to Amaterasu fire with a [2] rank resistance to all Katon as well.
▰ Rise in the East, Fall in the West ▰Category: Enchantment ▰Rank: S ▰Primary Sense: Touch ▰Additional Senses: Sight, Sound, Chakra ▰Base Duration: 5 Posts ▰Upkeep: 80 Chakra ▰Trigger: Sound | Crow's Caw ▰Source: Enchanted World ▰Status Effect: Mental Stress ▰Description: Yamiho releases a mighty caw that ensnares enemy listeners into a frightening enchantment. They perceive the Sun above them blacken and flicker with Amaterasu flames. Once the Sun transforms, it turns the sky crimson and moves closer and closer to Earth. This causes the victim(s) to believe that the Sun will collide with Earth under Yamiho's control. They feel intense heat sear their skin as the world around them is reduced to ash. This terrifying genjutsu from the dread phoenix causes Tier 4 mental stress.
▰ Eclipse of the Dreary Realm [ In'utsuna ryōiki no nisshoku ] | Rank: S+ | Cost: Chakra The Dread Phoenix flies high into the sky, vanishing from sight. During this time the sky blackens in the topic and the sun appears as an eclipse as those in the topic suffer tier 1 blindness. From above, the frightful caw of the massive beast echoes as the sky begins to rain down black feathers composed of Amaterasu flames. These feathers expand into a downpour of black flaming down fragments that coat the entire topic. In addition, recognition of these flames triggers any genjutsu known by the summon or the contract holder.

▱▰▱Satoshi was able to relax once they were out of imperial territory but still continued flying the ship quickly. His crewmates likely had to deal with an uncomfortably wobbly airship that was clearly not being piloted by a seasoned hand. Satoshi also did not know how to avoid turbulence from prevailing winds so that definitely added to the discomfort. Regardless, they all made it to their destination with the ship in one piece. As they entered the area, Satoshi pressed a button on the intercom to speak to the others. "Aye mateys, we've arrived...to the Midnight Dreary Realm." Satoshi then "parked" the airship above the forests. The dark world they were in consisted of a black sky and a massive red moon over a dead forest. Despite its apparent eeriness, Satoshi felt safe and relieved for the first time in years. He was outside of the uneasy feeling of being in dangerous territory because of the conditions of his parentage. Once he stood up and breathed he looked down at his larger hands only to sigh once again. Immediately, he looked into a mirror to see his adult self and ran to find and comfort Soyeon. If the others wanted to disembark and explore the area they were free to but for now, Satoshi needed to get his bearings.
Personal Attributes • Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. This is not a technique and does not cost an activation. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Genetic Palette | With intensive genetic therapy and strong blood, this character is able to possess more than one transplant. This allows the character up to two transplants total, of any of the three categories. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Get Thee Back into the Tempest | Satoshi is granted the wind element. • Phantom Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by his signature style of Phantom Slayer and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added. • Amaterasu’s Cloak | All fire based techniques produced by the Uchiha are considered bloodline techniques.The flames are turned black and fire based techniques are reduced by 5 chakra per rank with a minimum of 5 chakra to be paid for a technique. For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. • Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. • Mirror Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by the Mirror Image Art taijutsu style and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added.

It was a rough journey to the sage lands, but Takao was glad he made it in one piece. He felt antsy and lit up another cigarette, happy to disembark from the dizzying trip and feel solid ground. He re-oriented himself by walking the length of the ship, taking a glance at the unusual area he found himself in. It was a dark, dying forest with an uncomfortable red moon overseeing it. He would never call himself scared, but he was certainly eager to be anywhere but here.
'So when is enough enough? I don't want to keep the kids out too long. The sooner we return to the village, the more likely it is that they'll be forgiven for this.'
'Funny you should ask...'
His blood ran cold. 'Chomei. We can't stay out here. I agreed for a little adventure so the kids could have their fun and then return to the village with their appetite satiated. We can't- they'll be fugitives.'
'They already are. You, too. And remember how much fun we had while we were soaring through the sky? It was magical. It was right. It's what we deserve, not to be held down by some village-'
'You had no intention of going back to Arashigakure. My home, Chomei. How ******** dare you? You're gonna fight me every step of the way if I try to take them back, huh?'
Chipper as ever, Chomei answered, 'If the Arashigakure ANBU and/or Oinin do not take you out first, that is!'
Anger filled Takao as he took a long drag on his cigarette, but he didn't speak again before a crow's piercing cry interrupted him. He felt an odd pinch in his stomach, and it took him a moment to recognize it as Chomei's fear. Right. Birds. A bug's natural predator. 'Not a fan, huh? Well, I'll take my sweet ******** time here,' he promised, flicking the cigarette out and grinding it into the earth with his foot. He cut off communication with Chomei, though he had to admit that the Midnight Dreary Realm was... definitely dreary. He couldn't escape the feeling that there were hundreds of eyes on him, so he made his way back towards the entrance to the ship but didn't re-board, since they'd have to go explore soon anyways.

These are considered E rank phantasms, effecting only sight. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] The user becomes more accustomed to all combat revolving around small weapons combat. The user's speed and reflex when wielding a small weapon is increased by a slight amount. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their reflexes for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons without paying the cost. This still requires the activation be utilized. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] All projectile weapons used as a small weapon for this style gain a slight speed increase per rank of the parent technique. • [ Kakumei ] This allows the user to detect when an offensive action is about to occur, giving them a slight increase in reflex per body rank of the user. Crows scattered quickly as the faint rumble of mechanical turbines working against gravity become louder and nearer. The trees of the dreary realm emptied quickly as the dark red skies were eclipsed by a sillouette of an air ship. " Oh?" the man who stood in the thicket of the realm said softly, surprised to see visitors. A gruff tone growled. " It's...Chomei...and Son Goku." Black eyes shifted rapidly across the ship's form. " Could it be..." he said to Kurama as his words surprised him. While he could not sense his brother's chakra he surely sensed a very similar chakra emanating from the ship. The fox spoke up once more. " It's an Arashigakure ship, Masato. Careful with them...if Chomei found a new host then it's most likely a village ninja...they aren't too fond of us after Kaga-" he was cut off by the muscular Uchiha. " Yeah, yeah. Something's definitely off. " Masato deflected the topic as usual. His shortcoming were something he wished erased from history. The fox was, also as usual annoyed by this but found it amusing that the man was still full of such pride in his waning age. " Well, fool. What are we doing? Investigating or are we fighting? " the fox asked, unsure how the man would handle such an encounter. After a long pause, Masato responded with " Let's say hi. " A sigh escaped Kurama's inner voice. " Didn't answer the question, fool."
A pocket of wind burst out from under the man as he made his massive leap skyward, catching his footing on the tips of thin wispy branches that snapped like whips from his force as he made a secondary jump. This feat would place him upon the deck of the ship which appeared to be currently unoccupied. Masato's eyes shifted around. " Definitely from Arashi..." He said, thinking of their famous technology driven village in the sky. Wonder why it's here?" he said to himself, expecting no answer. His eyes closed momentarily, allowing them to shift to the crimson shade dotted with three tomoe, the nerves around his eyes bulging from the simletaneous usage of his byakugan powers gifted by his brother, Sandayu. His eyes absorbed all information. `Seems a few of them with higher chakra levels are sleeping....the demon hosts are nearby....but the chakra I sensed isn't attached to Chomei...strange.' Kurama would nod inside Masato's world, agreeing that the two were unrelated. "So, which is more important? The familiar chakra... The remnant of your brother or the demon who marred your skin in Sunagakure?" the fox asked. Masato would reply with a sigh. " Neither demon are of consequence. " Masato said, dismissing their strength in light of his curiousity. " I've fought them both before. I want to see wha- who this is..." Masato traversed the hallways, avoiding all other persons until he reached a room near the back of the ship that housed the strange chakra he recognized. He felt a fleeting moment of tightness in his stomach, as though he was going to face something he was unprepared for.
The door's handle turned as the door easily pushed open. Standing before him with the microphone having just been placed down was Satoshi. Masato's dual dojutsu were unmistakable if Satoshi knew of his father's lineage. Those eyes were now fixed on a somewhat more slender man who so greatly resembled the Uchiha's brother he was stunned for a moment. " Sanda...yu?" he said lowly but easily heard by Satoshi. The chakra that Masato was seeing was definitely not Sandayu's...but the resemblance was uncanny. Unmistakable. It had to be his brother...didn't it? He was unable to save Sanda from himself then...could he do it now? Was this real?

They had been adrift for some days. Their airborne adventure had no resting point, no stopping so far. Botenmaru had become somewhat bored. His time in Arashigakure had been so high paced and combat filled that he had become accustomed to it. His reputation had only done him justice in finding battle. Now, he restlessly browsed scroll after scroll, attempting to learn more on medical ninjutsu. He had taken such a meager understanding of it and the scrolls he had found upon the ship were rudimentary to low level at best. He studied several of the available techniques and in a few short days had learned what was accessible. Now, he slept, unaware of the intruder aboard for now but that would soon change as the PA announcement of Satoshi alerted him it was time to move. He sat up, unarmored and unable to be seen in his cabin. He would don his armor and ready himself for the day...

Personal Attributes • Will of Steel: The user's endurance cap is raised by 1 point so long as their endurance does not exceed 9. In addition, their rock hard natural skin gains immunity from two physical status effects of choice with the exception of frostbite and dehydration. [ Chosen: Paralysis, Trauma ] • Forge Master: At creation, the user may choose Armor Smithing or Weapon Smithing. The character begins at Apprentice Status in that chosen crafting profession. The user is able to use their Steel Release's metals to forge all weapons and armor they create with durability that matches their body rank. In addition, each weapon or armor crafted this way gains an additional ability unique to that weapon that must utilize the clan's abilities in some way. Finally, items created this way can be freely absorbed into the body and expelled by paying an E Rank amount of chakra with no activation for each item removed during combat in this method. • Iron Tomb: All the user's techniques that would cause petrification in a target are instead changed to metal as they have their flesh's structure changed into steel. This metal element being added to the petrification status causes all petrification to occur at the next highest tier as well as adding an additional cost of the user's body rank in chakra to break the limb free. • Heavy Armor Specialist: Botenmaru's armor is able to endure one additional strike of it's durability level before it degrades. This effect can only be used once every three posts. • Endless Aegis: Botenmaru's shield is treated as heavy armor instead of a weapon, giving any drawbacks standard heavy armor would along with it's defense rating. • Bootyenmaru: Botenmaru's fascination with piracy demonstrated by Satoshi grants him and anyone in his crew ( party/group ) double rewards for Ryo.
Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. The user's body is treated with the durability of medium armor without any drawbacks. Furthermore the medical learning reductions gained from this class also count towards taijutsu learning reductions. The shinobi gains three tai slots, one at D rank, one at C rank, and then one at A-ranked. Finally, the user is able to augment their Genesis Rebirth Technique. Not only does this discipline allow the user to utilize the technique twice, but each time the user is restored of 250 chakra. The user also deals with trauma they receive at one rank less than other ninja. • Medical-Bukijutsu | The user is able to slash their weapon at a target, applying a healing technique to it and casting it upon the target. Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. Medical techniques cast in this manner cost five chakra less per rank of the technique.

The long flight from Arashigakure had been anything but peaceful for Soyeon among the crew of this ship. She hadn't been able to really come out of her room for quite some time now, after having holed herself inside for the past day or so. She didn't really come out to eat and simply stated at the ceiling beneath her bastion of warmth inside of her covers. The girl couldn't get over just watching Nozomi, the woman who had been the only real figure to her, watching her leave without any kind of notice. It filled her heart of longing and various other bad sorts of vibes. Maybe if she just stayed inside of this blanket, everything would turn out alright? Satoshi would come to his senses and fly back home. And she could cry and hug him and they could go out for dinner? Well, just as friends. Nothing special or anything. Just two people out on a friendly outing.

It at least sounded good on paper. Soyeon had closed her eyes for some short period and let the warmth of the blankets whisk her away into more peaceful dreams. It was only by the sound of the intercom with Satoshi that Soyeon would arise from her slumber. The bed she had laid on felt smaller, or at least that she wasn't sprawling across all of it when she nodded off. She let out a soft yawn and would untangle herself from the covers before standing up on her own two feet and going to the bathroom. Man, that was weird. Didn't those paintings on the wall used to be up higher? Her feet carried her towards the shoddy one room place and splashed some water onto her face. The first splash was to clean out her eyes of sleepies. That woman in the reflection made her jump back, which she mocked herself. Soyeon and her stared for a moment or so and went to catch some hot water from the small sink and splash herself again alongside the woman. After some time, she hoped to find that she was that plucky and stressed out teen that was with the rest of her crew.
Instead, Soyeon was now a stressed out and shocked adult, looking into the mirror as a woman in what could barely be described as a robe would stare back at her.
She looked down and got a hold of the situation, blocked mostly by the impressive bust she was hauling around. Her back was killing her but the other things were taking her mind away from her lower back pain at the moment. She cupped them under her hands and then to her face, making several faces in the mirror as if it prove to herself it was actually her.
"SATOSHI!!!" she cried out and took off towards the captain's room.
On cue, the one eyed captain raced there as the two met. Soyeon held him tightly...not realizing how much of her had grown alongside her height. She was about as tall as him now, though her breasts were just as noticeable as ever. What could she say? Luck of the gene lottery. Maybe her mom was stacked herself? "Looks like we grew up again, huh?" She was a bit startled at how mature she sounded now. Like one of those ninja back home who had seen their fair share of mission activity. Her demeanor has changed alongside it, now a very playful but serious woman."At least one of us turned out cute." She didn't want the once meek boy in the back of the class to worry too much. Satoshi himself was just as handsome as ever. He looked pretty good all things considered. His long bangs were a cute fit for his one eyed look, and given his serious brows and how stoic they made him look-

Then the door opened to the room as all three eyes looked up to be face-to-face with a literal mountain of a man. His muscular physique and unkept hair made him appear as some sort of strange wild man. Somebody who looked about as welcoming as a gun barrel to the forehead. He spoke the name of Satoshi's father, Sandayu. It was still as much of a shock now as it had been then. A pit of guilt rose in Soyeon's gut as she felt for the boy. His place in the world had been compromised since day one. Being the child of two notorious war criminals didn't do your life any favors. But if this wildebeest of a man in front of them knew Sandayu...
"Do you know this guy, Satoshi?" she asked him in a whisper. "Something in me...Is digging at me." she admitted, balling her fists. That strange ache she couldn't tell what was. God, she just wanted to pound this man's face in. Was it that demon from Belamos all those years ago doing this? But why was he choosing to become active now, of all times?
Draped in black, standing at the crossroads of things betwixt. Nanyo Uchiha would stand, like a phantom he would remain in the stillness of the dreamry. His crimson eyes would seem to wait for the new comers to meet his. This place wasn't for those whom didn't possess the blood of the clan. In fact they weren't even supposed to know of this sacred place.
Brandishing his blade, no one other then those of the clan could pass him. He would make doubly good on the promise the clan had made to Yatagarasu. This dreamscape, it wasn't like other sage lands... It served a purpose. The secrets and tomes here were to remain kept by trusted members of the Uchiha clan and none other. How Nanyo arrived here... irrelevant. What was true was that Nanyo had a duty to preform, and a concord to keep. And he intended on keeping this dreaming world sleeping...
▱▰▱Satoshi and Soyeon met in the control room and were alone for a few minutes. He hugged her tightly after she called out to him, taking solace in the embrace. At this point, he could only hope that he might stop aging, but he was here to meet with Yatagarasu again and find out. When Soyeon flirted with him instead of bashfully blushing and looking away as he would have done during his boyhood he smiled confidently. Despite the anxiety of his aging, he felt freer than he ever did in the village. It felt as if he broke free from the confines of a straitjacket. He no longer had to worry about making the slightest misstep and putting Toso and himself in danger. When he let Soyeon go from the long hug he only turned the captain's seat around in front of the controls. It was a large brown leather swizzle chair and he sat down in it. As he did so he wrapped his arm around Soyeon to pull him to his lap. With his hand rested on her hip he leaned back in relaxation with his head tilted up to her. "Aye, that be yee, beautiful wench." He said in response as his one revealed eye stared up into her eyes. He used his other hand to clear the several strands of her bangs which were out of place on her forehead. It was clear from his embrace and posture that he was comforted by her company. "If I were to get old and die by tha end of the yonder year, I'd rather be with yee. But I be cloaked in the immense knowledge that destiny has more in store for yee and me, my partner in fate. We're here ta discuss that with Yatagarasu in but mere a moment." The captain of the pirated airship spoke with reassurance to her and the sweet acknowledgment that they had each other. He knew that there was too much to do for him to become decrepit so soon. This age seemed ideal for what was destined to come.
With that, Masato stepped into the scene that unfolded before him. He would see Satoshi and Soyeon facing him from a seated position. When he curiously said his father's name to him his gaze narrowed on him. Satoshi's head lowered from staring in admiration up at Soyeon's face to his usual grimace laid upon Masato. But then he smiled before figuring that this could be the crows testing him with an illusion. He listened to Soyeon words spoken in his ear as he retracted the hand on her hip to form a handseal. Once chakra surged through his brain he then placed his hand on Soyeon's exposed thigh to release her as well. Based on what Soyeon asked him it seemed probable that the crows placed her under the same spell as he within their dominion. And yet, the base reality was the same and there truly was a man standing in the room with them. "Sandayu...that be my father's name. I'm Satoshi, son of Sandayu Genburyuichirousuke and Kagami Hari. And who are yee to come aboard my ship?" He spoke with pride which betrayed his sense of unease. Somebody randomly coming aboard and saying his father's name to him in the Uchiha's safe realm was not what he had anticipated in the slightest. This was the first time that Satoshi was able to fully introduce himself to someone without fear of persecution so that surge of relief overpowered his anxiety for now. He kept one of his hands rested on Soyeon's leg, soothingly rubbing it to calm her and show a sign of confidence to the intruder. He kept her in his seat with him but was prepared to release her if tensions escalated. Yogen awoke in Satoshi's chambers down the hall and flew out. When he found Satoshi in the control room he flew over Masato's head and landed on the shoulder opposite where Soyeon's head would be resting. Yogen stared at the stranger but said nothing, electing to stay quiet and listen instead.

Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. This is not a technique and does not cost an activation. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Genetic Palette | With intensive genetic therapy and strong blood, this character is able to possess more than one transplant. This allows the character up to two transplants total, of any of the three categories. • Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. • Get Thee Back into the Tempest | Satoshi is granted the wind element. • Phantom Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by his signature style of Phantom Slayer and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added. • Amaterasu’s Cloak | All fire based techniques produced by the Uchiha are considered bloodline techniques.The flames are turned black and fire based techniques are reduced by 5 chakra per rank with a minimum of 5 chakra to be paid for a technique. For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. • Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. • Mirror Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by the Mirror Image Art taijutsu style and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. Masato's crimson eyes laid upon Satoshi and his companion who was currently seated upon his lap. The vision of him alongside the woman who seemed rather uncomfortable in her own skin sank in. The eye patch was a different trait. Masato's eyes absorbed the information being sent to the occular nerves at a rapid rate. He observed the handsign and disected it's use with ease. A single hand sign. ' He's weary of genjutsu...' Masato thought. Kurama's voice echoed within. " Fool, Sandayu would have just peered through a genjutsu, not attempt to dispel something that wasn't there...he thinks you're the illusion." Masato huffed at the fox's comment. Of course he knew that. Masato wanted to know more...he had to. With the weaving of ocular short movements he would tap into the ability to read minds demonstrated by his brother in years past. He would sense the man's inner thoughts as he spoke his identity. He claimed to be the child of his late brother and Kagami. Masato's eyes widened ever so slightly at this news...only to confirm the man's thoughts as truth. He sighed heavily and with a broken exhale. " Satoshi then... I wasn't aware...they were with child..." he said as he took in the bizarre wonder. It was unlikely that Satoshi had realized Masato's technique since his own sharingan hadn't been called upon and the activation was subtle, so it was probable he would be bewildered that Masato seemed to believe his story with the age difference. The Uchiha spoke again. " Masato Umechika. " he stated plainly. " Child of Ryosuke Umechika and Evergreen....brother to Sandayu Genburyuichirousuke" Their relation was evident through this alone. Masato crossed his arms, rubbing his temple with his right index finger. " That explains the familiar chakra signature...and the resemblance..but not the age. How'd you get so....grown?" Masato questioned with a genuinely puzzled expression. Masato blinked with a rather absentminded presence.
From within, Kurama grumbled once again. " Fool, ask about the other tailed beasts. Son Goku is clearly in the girl and not in that Belamos blowhard while Chomei sits in another as well. Kagami probably lives with Isobu sealed since the boy isn't a jinchuriki. " Masato replied to his inner voice within his own mind. "Shut it, whiskers. Would ya? The unsettling feeling of the forest surrounded Takao as he re-boarded the ship. Despite his anger at Chomei's betrayal, he couldn't put that on the kids' shoulders. Er- adults, some of them, now. It was still a lot to wrap his head around.
He finished climbing the boat only to hear a stranger talking to Satoshi. Things seemed friendly enough but something in the back of his head went off at the sound of the other man. He felt Chomei try to say something and he suppressed the connection instead, unwilling to hear from the spineless bug at the moment.
He made a handseal and touched the edge of the ship he had climbed back up past, his own chakra filling the floor and side of the ship for fifty meters [ Creeping Silhouette [ Hofuku Kageboushi ] | Rank B ]. It would not reach the control room but the sensory technique would cover the open area of the ship, meaning anyone exiting would have a limited space to leave the control room without stepping on the silhouette.
He grabbed another cigarette as he stared at the control room. He didn't want to interrupt Satoshi, but he had to be ready if the stranger was anything but friendly. He was kept out of his own thoughts by the sounds of crows piercing the air. "Goddamn, birds are everywhere.... Is no one else uncomfortable being here?" He tried not to look directly at the blood moon, either... only keeping track in his peripheral.

She didn't want to fully admit it but being embraced by Satoshi did feel somewhat nice. He let go for only the briefest of moments and before Soyeon could even work on getting her head back into working order, Satoshi pulled her into a closer hug, this time in the swiveling captain's chair. Her cheeks were already red, but this added effort was just making her entire face begin to turn a bright crimson color. Before, he would have just blushed as deep as her and looked away but now? He was actively challenging her own little attempts at flirting. Her eyes met his single digit and his hand gently moved the strands of auburn hair from her eyes. It was hard to think they had already journeyed so far together, everybody in their crew. Perhaps it really was fate which brought everybody together. It certainly explained the drastic jump in aging. The worries of growing old in just a few days, to be stuck in a walker or even worse was all but present in her mind, though soothed by Satoshi's plan of action of speaking with the crows here. While she was aware of the dangerous illusions they carried, she had the upmost confidence that the son of the legendary illusionist would be anything but at home here in these lands.
"If we're truly bound by fate, I'm glad at least it's with you." Soyeon admitted in a soft voice. "Beside the son of Sandayu and Kagami. It's not where I expected to end up at, but I wouldn't give this up for anything." The two shared a bit of a moment more and likely would have a repeat of what happened back at the academy had the man not interrupted. Fortunately for all parties involved, Soyeon would be in the lap of Satoshi, would kept a firm but loose grasp on her. Just in case something happened and she needed to get out of the way. She continued to gaze up at this mountain of a man before them just as Satoshi's hands move to form the kai sign before being place don her thigh again. Words jumbled out of her mouth while ignoring how strange it felt to her. Satoshi's head fell on her shoulder, with Yogen flying out to rest on the other.
Well this was one interesting way to meet a family member neither of them seemed to know about one another.
The man introduced himself as Masato, and mentioned something peculiar. He was a child of THE Evergreen? How was that even possible? As far as she knew from the faint murmurs in Arashi, Evergreen hadn't been notable for quite some time now. Not since the attack on the villages by Kagami. Questions for another time, she supposed. He asked about the aging and why he likely wasn't the age they had been but a few weeks ago. "That's what we're trying to find out." Soyeon answered, adjusting herself a little in the lap of Satoshi. It was so embarrassing talking to him like this, but it's not like Satoshi rubbing her leg was something she wished to be stopped.
"Most of us on the ship are like this. Ever since the academy, we keep aging rapidly. Just before we left Arashigakure, we were about 15 or 16. Now, probably in our 20s." There was a faint voice inside of her murmuring something to her though she couldn't understand it. She hadn't been trained fully in being a jinchuriki and lacked the proper technique to communicate with the Son Goku inside of her. But by his tone and intense feelings of needing to punch a hole in the ship, Soyeon was grateful for Satoshi holding her back. Her hands found themselves distracted but gently reaching to stroke the plumage of Yogen.

▱▰▱The man's name was immediately familiar to him based on all that his mother told him about his paternal side of the family. Satoshi relaxed when it seemed clear that Masato was not going to be a threat to him. That was a relief considering his globally-renown combat prowess. He listened to Masato and subsequently nodded at Soyeon's responses. "Aye, Masato, you be my uncle and Evergreen be my granny. What my loavely wench 'ere says be the gospel truth. Technically I be...maybe...six years old now. Me mum was pregnant with me durin' the final Kogarashi invasion and used genjutsu to fake her death n' escape in a pact with Toso. Months later, I was born on me mum's artificial island which housed the Kogarashi remnants. About three years after that, she left the island and gave me ta Toso ta raise in Arashi. My crew and I just stole his airship from Arashi n' went rogue a few days ago. Now we're layin' low 'ere in the Midnight Dreary Realm." Satoshi did what he could to succinctly connect the dots for Masato. He was intrigued by Masato not disbelieving the truth of his parentage despite the apparent age discrepancy. He continued rhythmically rubbing Soyeon's leg while considering how to describe the final piece of his background. "Why 'ere? You may ask. Well, this be my second visit to the realm. The first time was when I was smol and Yatagarasu showed me my prophecy in exchange for cursin' me left eye. Now I be back ta learn more." Satoshi pointed to his patched over left eye. Due to his lack of experience in sharingan abilities, he was unable to discern Masato's subtle tactics. Following the smell of tobacco smoke filling the air, he heard Takao's anxious statement. "Not I, Takao! This be my favorite place in the world!" With a clear shift into upward tempo, Satoshi spun the chair around and began messing with the controls again while he let Masato digest the information.
"Hold onto your hineys, mateys! I'm gonna fly us deeper into tha forest!" Satoshi said into the announcement system before accelerating the ship. The massive metal airship would take off from the perimeter of the dead forest deeper into the center, passing above Nanyo in the sky. Once they were closer, Satoshi stopped the ship to avoid colliding with the nexus of crow activities in the massive central nest below the red moon called the "great roost." Satoshi stood with Soyeon still in his affectionate embrace before gently releasing her and allowing her feet to touch the floor. He allowed their noses to touch before responding to her earlier statement. "And now to face our eternity bound." He smiled sweetly at her knowing that they were chasing the prophecy together. Satoshi then looked back toward his uncle. "I've no desire to loiter any longer in the Realm for it be time to see the king. You be free to join us." He was glad to welcome Masato along for the journey. He saw this as an opportunity to connect more with his roots and also get the crows to reveal the individual and collective prophecies of the crew at large including himself, Soyeon, Takao, Tetsu, and Botenmaru. While Yogen enjoyed the attention Soyeon was giving him he was honor-bound to leap off the shoulder and lead them toward the roost. "Right this way, degenerates." Yogen enjoyed his quip as he flew ahead, leading Satoshi out of the control room and off the deck. Satoshi waved for the others to follow Yogen as he disembarked from the airship.

For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. • Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. The conversation persisted with his nephew. Masato was unsure of exactly what path young Satoshi took in his life. That is, his morality. Masato had no qualms with their choice to become rogues or even to steal the airship and defect. How could he judge them when he too made impacting decisions on both villages by choosing to side with Sandayu in order to bond and train. What intrigued Masato most was the process of aging that was occurring. None of the children seemed to know what was causing their aging. Masato wasn't a highly educated person, but even he knew that the dangers of such a thing could end a life prematurely. Even more dangerous was the four tail sealed within the girl at Satoshi's side. " I see. Seems...complicated. " He sighed, reflecting on his time spent trying to convince Sandayu not to destroy entire villages, working towards peace. The wasted time. He wondered if time would be wasted here as well. He couldn't help but feel the desire to help his nephew, if only to strengthen the few familial bonds he had left in this world. "Can't condemn a man for following their own path. " Masato fell silent after speaking those words. He wondered what words he would have used with Sandayu if given another chance. Perhaps he was wiser now to the world and could do some good to the children, even if their time together was destined to be brief.
Satoshi had turned around, fiddling with the controls as he piloted the ship towards Yatagarasu's roost. Masato smiled. " Seems like we've both been in the same direction. Crows aren't something I've always had an affinity to, but they seem useful. I came to learn more about them. I suppose staying with you in the Dreary Realm for your stay wouldn't harm. Might even teach you all something to take on your travels. " What could Masato give them that they all lacked? Training. The group had essentially been moved from the academy level to full fledged shinobi level ninja within a few days. Satoshi clearly held the latent potential for the Sharingan. This was something Masato could help with. The girl and the man looming outside their room, awaiting confrontation, training with their demons. The boy still stirring in his chambers down the hall? Combat experience, if nothing else. Perhaps the morality he had discovered along his journey would be of use? Perhaps his painfully learned lessons? Masato wasn't sure what they needed to steer them in a positive direction but it was clear this group had all the makings of a Kogarashi tiered threat, if not higher. Thanks to the blood relation between Satoshi and Masato, there would be no violence against the fledgling shinobi. What had begun festering in the back of his mind was the tidbit of information Satoshi had let loose. Kagami lived. It confirmed his suspicions. He struggled with his feelings on the matter. It had been several years and she had been scarse the entire time in the eyes of the villages. Was she no longer interested in anarchy? Masato focused inward, wishing only to protect his village now. It was his new purpose, the protection of his family and everyone they held dear. Putting his innermost turmoil to rest as he deactivated his technique. [ Lasting Memory Missions: Complete ]
He had done his best to mind his business as they ship was moving through the air again, but just the brief murmurs of discussion from the captain's room were tempting him. However, he hadn't wait long as Satoshi spoke into the comm system and left the control room with Yogen.
"Teach us something?" Takao's interest was piqued, since the dude looked vaguely menacing and more than capable of putting up a fight. And there was this odd tingling feeling he got from the man, something that resonated deep in his chest, but Takao wasn't ready to talk to Chomei again about it. "I don't do the eye stuff," he explained vaguely, looking pointedly at the spooky red Uchiha moon to make his point more clear. "And uh, how long are we supposed to be here... under the uh... moon... thing...?" He wanted to be inside the ship instead of under the watch of the damn thing, let alone the trillion crows that infested the forest.
