Kagami's five mirrors were formed as five spinning disc like creatures broke from the crowd and intervened in their creation. Doing so destroyed the creatures, but they were mere tools for Utu's creation. Speaking of Utu, the mad king slammed the end of his golden spear onto the floor his throne was poised upon. This caused a massive column of light chakra to fall from the sky, which Yusuke countered by slashing his sword and unleashing a torrent of water. The two attacks collided, but as Yusuke moved his body back to a standard sword form, a serpentine creature slid right passed him. The monstrosity took out two of the platoon the Seiryu heir brought as though they were red shirts. Yusuke's eyes went wide at the speed of which the creature moved. However, before he could respond, his sword moved in front of him to deflect the strike of a giant like monstrosity. At the same time, Kagami would find herself surrounded by four shaman like monstrosity. They floated ten feet away from her base and from their staves shined a bright light. The flashes went off at the same time, and as soon as they were dispatched, Kagami would find herself suddenly short of breath. The power of the genjutsu was amplified by the power of the unified collaboration. In addition, while the four shaman knew of Kagami's power of genjutsu, they layered a second genjutsu which would make her believe that she was locked to the bottom of the ocean. Utu's agents had a sense of comedy using Genjutsu against the master of illusions, but it was clear from this display that this was an olive branch. Yusuke was the one fated to fight him, and if Kagami intervened now, then she could alter the course of fate to a path where destiny spirals out of order.

▱▰▱Kagami's mirrors were interrupted in their formation. However, she immediately loosed the tailed beast ball into the grouping of sun creatures surrounding Utu. The massive ray of chakra would obliterate a considerable amount of Utu's forces and possibly even damage him in the surrounding explosion. Yusuke's water sword skills helped keep more of Utu's attacks at bay but now she was surrounded by a group of Sun shaman. Kagami was immediately released from their suffocation genjutsu by Isobu just as she felt her chest tighten and saw the bottom of the ocean. Once she was released, she placed both of her hands on the ground and cast a mighty genjutsu of her own. Massive fissures would break the ground over the entire area as lava spewed out of the cracks violently to consume the shamen and any other Sun creatures. Immediately, she used yin chakra to convert the lava fissure illusion into reality which devastated the general area. After this, her blood-red eyes narrowed on Utu himself before she performed a handseal and spawned a massive tidal wave aimed for him. The tidal wave would flow over the lava fissures that were made to consume much of the Sun creatures before drowning the entire visible domain in water. If unavoided, then Utu would get sucked into the power of the tidal wave along with many of his forces.

Utu's radiant armor gleamed with the light of the sun as the concussive blast of the tailed beast ball glided effortlessly off of it. Kagami's attacks on him while he was in his domain were humorous at best, and tedious at worse. As the fissures erupted the genjutsu forced the shamans to believe that they had to be absorbed into it, even though they were creatures which had the ability to fly. The geysers of lava then consumed them, as well as a large portion of the creatures. This included the giant Yusuke was fighting, as its back leg got trapped into one before it plummeted down to a burning demise. "Score one for the princess!" Yusuke said over to Kagami with a thumbs up. At that moment, however, an echoing sound of the spear against the ground resonated throughout the field. The yin chakra of Kagami's dojutsu as well as the genjutsu itself faded from the field, although the large chasms still remained for people to fall into. "Yatagarusu cursed me with the knowledge of my own demise. In return I cursed him with a burn which would never fade. This moment has been at the forefront of my mind for eons. Do not dishonor me with cheap tricks." As he said this a burst of light erupted from his armor, completely evaporating the tidal wave. At the same time Yusuke smirked as he drew his hand against his katana, cutting his own flesh in the process.
"Noted. Let's get the party started then!" He shouted as a symbol of arcane power emerged from below him. While most samurai never mastered the art of arcane rituals to channel their ninjutsu, an elite warrior such as himself had that skill with ease. Gripping the hilt with both hands he thrust the tip of the blade through the circle beneath his feet, shattering it in the process. Smoke erupts from him as the remaining party found themselves on the head of a massive dragon like serpent. The creature's sheer mass crushed hundreds of the monsters as the elevation it provided almost put the group on eye level of Utu. It was the first time Kagami had ever seen the true power of the Seiryu heir; the right to summon the familiar Tomoe. "Tomoe! Help our guest out." Yusuke said as he wrapped his wound in a bandage. The serpent shrieked as a second tidal wave erupted and drowned the majority of the foes Kagami's first attack did not immediately kill. As the wave motioned toward Utu, however, two balls of fire burst out of the sky to counter it. Indeed, as the group looked into the air, four hundred foot twin dragon like monstrosities descended from the blissful light of the sun. The meteor sized fireballs reigned down on the head as well as the body as the infinite power of the sun took no prisoners.

▱▰▱Kagami took the brief moment of respite during Utu's monologue to form another handseal. She smiled charmingly at Yusuke when he noted her success at destroying many Sun creatures with the lava fissure illusion that was made real and tarnished the area. Kagami was then impressed by the impressive display of power that Yusuke had up his sleeve. This must be what he was talking about. She made a quick mental note of this as she inhaled deeply before breathing out thousands of rain droplets. The rain took the form of a fog that she fired upward to fill the sky of the entire viewable area. This mist clashed with the powerfully flaming meteors descended upon them. The meteors over the foggy sky suddenly brought back memories of the day she destroyed Uzushiogakure. She watched from the massive shore of the Land of Fire as meteors crushed the village and triggered that massive eruption of ash over the isles. Kagami sighed as she watched Utu's meteors not only be overpowered by the demonic fog but also felt their divine chakra being absorbed and dissipated. As the haunting image of the whirlpool's destruction persisted she simply shook her head in shame before the swirling vortex of her sins. I am become death, destroyer of worlds. I guess Chie would be the one laughing now. The pang of guilt intensified as she thought of her once adversary and her evil act of taking away her life. She took away the only opportunity that Chie could have had to even stand a chance of improving the world as Toso would. She knew that she was only doing the same now to Utu but the die was cast. There was no turning back from this point despite the recognition of her iniquity. The loss of one divine being had to be done for her to continue her path of redemption for humanity. The gods would have to look out for themselves, she supposed.
Technique Used: • Mist Rain [ Kirisame ] The user makes rain which eats up any chakra when it comes in contact with anything. Breathing out, the light, darkening mist rain will spread over an area (topic), billowing upwards to prevent a jump's worth of height. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Complex/Spiritual Tai/Buki jutsu, & Demonic auras/cloaks/etc are affected. Exactly half of the chakra absorbed is sent to sustain the jutsu, while the other half filters into the user's own chakra pool. Absorption can temporarily extend the user's chakra pool to above normal, for a maximum of triple the total. For example, if your reserves are 1,000 then it can increase it to 3,000 maximally. Lasts until [3] total posts have elapsed from the last absorption. Automatically Absorbs chakra at a rate of [320] per post from the listed sources dispersing them in a pseudo-seal fashion. As the mist and meteors collided violently against one another, the sky suddenly turned a shade of crimson red. Utu's head rose to see the sun, his deitic symbol of power, was becoming eclipsed by a power far beyond his domain. His armor's glow started to wane, and the celestial beings which flew in the air disbursed into particles of golden flicks. Yusuke's eyes widened at the sudden eclipse, but resumed focus long enough to take note of Utu's shock. "Looks like we got a guardian angel somewhere in the sky. Let's not disappoint!" Yusuke said as he readied his blade once more. A dragonic aura of water surrounded his blade as the serpent the group stood upon opened it's mouth. A large gush of water flew straight at the god as Yusuke then ran along the top of it with the act of water climbing. Utu raised his spear to slice through the water, but as he held his ground Yusuke's sword strike was enough to catch the god off guard. At the same time Kagami started to feel chakra being siphoned through her. The remaining samurai started to create their own incantation circles and with unknown sealing techniques began to transfer their own chakra into her power. The results merged with both her and her demon's chakra, and gave them both a boon for their following strike. "Hit him now!" Yusuke shouted with all of his might. If Kagami managed to fire a strike now, it could possibly end the sun god once and for all.

▱▰▱Kagami looked up as the sky above them in the divine realm turned from gold to crimson. It was an immensely uneasy feeling watching Utu's fall from his divine might. The Sun itself was Utu's main claim to power in Evergreen's universe. It was the conduit of his power from his universe into Evergreen's domain. Perhaps this meant that they were not fighting in Utu's universe but in a divine space within Evergreen's. Kagami did not have time to ponder these questions as she felt her own power being bolstered by Yusuke. It was unbeknownst to Kagami that this guardian angel he was referring to was her own son helping her. Although Satoshi assumed that he was just a plaything of fate and did not know the implications of his actions either. Kagami simply placed her hands together in a series of hand seals before loosing one final massive tidal wave toward Utu.

The mighty tidal wave, amplified further by the demonic power of Isobu, rose high enough to eclipse the sky. Yusuke bolted away as the full force of the strike cascaded down on the old king, pulverizing him into his giant throne. The wave pressed against him fiercely, blundering him with strike after strike after strike. Eventually the water rescinded, and as it did the old god slunk down from the terrible strike. With no sun to empower him, the deity started to disburse into strings and threads of golden chakra. They flew from his body in thousands of strands as their waves echoed throughout the universe. "My time... has come." A golden light erupted from the god as his body disbursed into one last radiant blast of lights and threads. The sun God Utu was no longer of this world. Light has fully succumbed to darkness.

▱▰▱When Utu was wiped away with the tidal wave, Kagami and Yusuke would immediately disappear. The harmless black flames consumed them and carried them back by Yatagarasu's command. With that, Yatagarasu would be unable to open or close the door to the mysterious celestial realm in Evergreen's universe again. Kagami and Yusuke would reappear in the Midnight Dreary Realm. Yatagarasu seemed extremely pleased with himself and satisfied in his revenge. "The deed has been done, Utu has paid the ultimate price. Now, both of you leave my realm at once before my hikariton-wielding guests arrive. I'd also consider it a sincere favor if neither of you speak of my role in this...matter lest I need to burn any Utu zealots attacking my forest." Kagami, in shock of what had just happened, quietly nodded and left the area with Yusuke as quickly as possible. As they left, Yatagarasu dispatched messenger crows to summon all hikariton users to his realm.

All was quiet in the forest of eternity. Time passed so slowly here- so little changed. The dark. The silence. The gloom. All these things were as immutable as the ground beneath the very trees which lay upon it. Had the Heraldic Crows not summoned the Light Users of the world, it may have remained such for a considerable amount of time. Unfortunately, one does not bare responsibility for the death of the Sun God and the eclipse of the First Light without repercussions. So, yes, all was quiet in the Midnight Dreary...until it wasn't. Like a Divine Lance from on high, Belamos crashed into the ground in a fiery explosion. Waves of flame emanated out from around his personage, cratering the earth and scorching the trees in a significant radius from his landing zone. Cloaked in a mantle of flames, adorned with golden armor, hefting the legendary Sunspear- The Warrior King had returned in all of his wrath. As he arose from the kneeling position he had landed in, he strode through the forest towards where he knew the being which had called him to be.
As he walked, the trees around him burned and crackled due to the heat of his body- as if they were physically shirking away due to the obvious anger of the Demigod. "Where is he?!" Belamos growled as he walked, the tanned skin underneath his robes turning into the Golden Skin of his Divine Persona. "What happened to him?!" Jets of fire exhaled from his mouth, his eyes themselves rippling and pulsating in a transfixing torrent of destruction. The ground he passed over- scarred and blackened by his journey. He found The Crow perched where he knew it would be. He did not know what his part in this was, only that it had a role. Whether it was in the solution or the problem, he was uncertain...but anger was clarity. He needed this being, if for nothing other than answers. So, he kept his flames in check, letting them dance along the edges of his form as he stared into the eye of the Three Legged Raven ...Where is Utu?!"

Where the Eclipse had darkened the world already, the seas darkened further as the 3rd Squadron approached, the forest of the Midnight Dreary Realm visible from the decks of the Kongoshu, trees catching ablaze as a figure struck his way through them. Wulfram stood at the bow of the ship, his eyes scanning the shores as a massive horn blared out their arrival. It warned the other ships not to draw approach, as they had begun to draw on the shores.
"Is that..." Wulfram slammed his hands on the rail of the fore, causing the raven that had flown with them to start.
"This is our stop, Ibis, Dove, Amazon, Uzu, let us put an end to this ********> He shouted, his voice boomed after the loud horn.
As the ship came to a halt and the Knight leapt over the nose of the ship down into the waters below, he was braced with an immediate chill as he made his way to the shore, warming himself with his internal flames as embers passed his lips.
The Reiken blade at his side shivered with anticipation as the Knight made his way deeper and deeper into the forest. The raven that had guided him and his crew to these lands had disappeared into the skies above, and Wulfram's path was perpendicular to that of Belamos. From his periphery, he could see the continued blaze of trees igniting, and in his hands he drew Ganymede, the soulbound blade.
His recently awoken light had begun to fade, darkness reigned over the world of man, and this place held some answer for both.
Sheva jumped over the bow of the ship and stood near to Wolfram. The forest in the foreground of them looked ablaze has the eclipse came to the peak of its cycle. She took a deep breath in and nodded to Wulfram "The Emperor must enjoy putting us together." She laughed under her breath, Sheva often used sarcasm to hide the fact that she was nervous. She looked around, and she felt like she has more questions than answers. Though Sheva thought that she came prepared, she didn't believe that anything could prepare her for advancing into the Dreary Realm... or progressing into any other domain besides the Vastwood. She waited for the others to disembark from the ship, Sheva started to take a mental catalog of what exactly she had.

Luo Ibis | "The Outcast"
The midnight sun was truly an ordeal when the messenger crow came to Wulfram's ship. Luo hated being right, he hated the omens and could dearly understand the ol' Knight's hatred of the situation. He was aware of the existence of the crows sacred lands, but he never cared or held love for those linked to his blood. The black seas and forest were within the horizon as he watched from the bow of the ship. Off in the distance, a light. Flames in the forest and a figure prominent from so far away.
Heh, King Firefly himself is here. Luo thought to himself, grinning with arms folded when he noticed the knight's agitation when he slammed onto the rail. In fact it only confirmed what he already knew, Luo said nothing aloud as he readied himself for landing. His second name Ibis was shouted by the Knight as he hissed in Wulf's general direction, detesting the sudden loud noises. The loud horn was enough, yet again he kept quiet and instead willed his chakra as air flowed around the body. He closely followed the Knight, descending slowly with his chakra manifesting the same wings again as the fuuton chakra glided him onto the shore, away from the water before he dispelled the technique and the wings faded as well.
"It's high time we depart now, Amazon." Luo would speak up to Sheva, one of the crew who stayed there as he departed. "Wulf is already on their way to kick some arse."
"That blade of your's is uneasy." Luo said during the trek through the forest, keeping behind the man but he was keenly watching the quivering weapon intently. Luo's void bled into the earth as he walked, leaving the ground stained with his presence that lingered for a time before it would soon fade. Luo didn't draw his blades but instead kept nearby the Knight, letting purple translucent wings show again upon his back.
A bunch of lightbulbs called here to the Crows. Just what has caused the world to blacken so? I don't belong here. Luo was uneasy himself, shifting with a twitch and grumbling. Obligation to the cause or not, he wasn't happy in the slightest.

Something had gone wrong. Aurelia had been with Nohea when the sensation hit her, swiftly followed by the sky going red and the sun's power dimming throughout the world. It had felt like some kind of hold had wrapped around her hikariton chakra, preventing any strong enough techniques from coming to light. Thankfully, her direct relationship with Utu was the only thing keeping her lower level techniques from completely disappearing, and she was certain than her father would be having the same sort of issue. So Aurelia would make way for where the light release users were being summoned towards: the Land of the Crows, a land of sages that she had not even heard of prior of the summoning. The youngest Karna carefully would climb the hills of the Crow Sage Lands, where illusions and treachery ran as rampant as the birds in the sky problem that Arashi always had being a floating city. Upon her entry into the land, it wasn't hard to tell who else would be present here, given the pillars of flame currently turning most of the trees into charcoal. AT leats it made finding Belamos easier.
"Dad!"
Aurelia would sprint over, her mother's sword still at her side along with the girl appearing a tad more...mature? All that time with Nohea paid off, leaving her as a pretty cool looking character overall. Plus, she kind of liked how tough she looked than before. "You feel it too? I can't sense Utu at all anymore..."

Lillian lagged behind the group, but the cause was no longer her brooding. This formation was familiar to her and Wulfram; she was much quicker on her feet than the man and she always took the behind position when in unknown lands. Now in scouting gear, the historian wore something akin to a leather battle dress. Her hands were free, and every once in a while a flare from the Anchor would alight the flora from around her.
It made her nervous, this whole place made her nervous.
Seeing the self proclaimed god-king's flames was easy, it set the forest ablaze. Such crass power should be more gracefully weilded-- though from stories she heard, Belamos Karna was not a man of restraint. Such a waste... That amount of power focused, carefully crafted would indeed be even stronger than his "lets waste everything in a several mile radius" technique.
Lillian caught Wulfram's attention and made a gesture that she was pulling ahead to scout; through their decades of service together they had built a way of communicating that was purely their own. With affirmation from her brother-in-arms, Lillian was gone in to the dark undergrowth. The group would probably only see her again if needed; in till then she would cautiously watch from the background and craft strategies.
Coming upon the location of the smoldering Belamos and strange bird, Lillian made herself comfortable on one of the trees not reduced to a pile of ash and awaited the others.
__ Flames and embers at the northeastern edge of Belamos' furious rampage extinguished in a small area. A young, blue-haired woman clad in red and gold stood in the cleared space and looked around for a moment. If anyone had been looking in that direction at the time, they'd have watched her simply exist out of nothingness in that space. It was dark. "Whoa, who turned out the lights?" She now new that it was right to ask her father to return and see what was happening. Zhi had felt her connection to the light wane even from a universe away, and her own divine patron had mentioned that having received a new boon of power would be the cue for her next mission. Her attention was focused on the descendants of Utu, a necessary ally who was unfortunately destined to fall before the end of this war. Her temporal sensory powers left her aware to the other gathering Light Release users who had surely been called by those spiteful dark-winged creatures. Zhi felt the memory of her losing control of her powers and slaughtering hundreds in Arashigakure. It had felt like centuries of guilt and regret found their way back to the fore of her thoughts as she stared upon the Karnas from afar. Zhi wanted to apologize, but she felt it best to be quiet until noticed if only to increase their odds of things going the way they were supposed to instead of the way it could.
