The black fog would be progressively making it all the more difficult to see the longer those gathered remained within it, and by creating this cloud of disorientation where none could see nor sense one another did the voice of our 'mystery man' ring out. So here she lay, with the Dawn of the Sun clawing at the ground near Yatagarasu in a crying rage at what the world had done to her family thus far. In the short span of about a decade and a half, she had lost her home, her mother, and now, her father as well. Crimson hair would fall around her; a curtain of red shielding her tear soaked face from those around her. For all but a moment, the events which happened around her wouldn't have mattered in the slightest. Once again, a Karna was left with a wound that would never heal, another scar for the collection. Jashin, the villages, this war and that one; Aurelia was tired of everything. Their petty lives and squabbles. She wanted to lay on the ground and let this festering hole in her heart claim the world in her grief. A proposition that would have been incredibly enticing had it not been for the very obvious conflict that was still present. Aurelia sniffled after hearing a pair of footsteps approach as a set of eyes gazed up at Zhi, who...attempted to console of about the loss. There came no response. Had she the ability to feel her hands, a fist would have found its way gracefully across the girl's face for daring to speak to her like that. Aurelia knew full well of why her father had made the sacrifice, but that selfish bit of her wished that he had stayed. Another thing ripped from her life because the world had deemed it so.
"Huh?" Her first of many depression fits was interrupted by the sounds of warfare from afar, with Nohea launching herself into battle with the Fire Emperor's Guard. Aurelia forced her knees to support her while Zhi would hurry over to the billowing pillar of light that was Shokyu and ask for her to do the same. Looks like it was time to be useful for once. "Right. Let's end this now." The fiery haired girl walked to her father's polearm, shielding her eyes from the flare of power that had caused it to flare up from the power of Zhi. With her right hand placed onto the shaft besides Zhi's, Aurelia pumped every last ounce of energy she could offer into the weapon. The already powerful light would soon become blinding by her shared power inside. She turned to Zhi, her eyes closed while gazing at her and then back towards Shokyu itself. "Wherever you are, Dad. I'm with you. Everybody's with you. So don't you ever think about dying on me."

That calm before the storm was so freeing. Clarity came only in the moment before she acted. She only knew motion in the fleeting moments before her feet left the ground. Her breath caught on something in her own chest, words flinging back and forth hardly what was giving the Truth Bearer pause. In her own right, she was beyond mortals in her administration of the universe and it's will, but to claim herself a god would be antithetical to her cause. To what drove her. All this talk, no action. All these tears, no lashing out or healthy expression in her eyes. She felt strangled by it to the point her nails dug into her palms, skin giving way to the tearing of flesh and for blood to drip from her digits when she released. That wave of emotion bubbled up like bile in her throat at this display. All until Wulfram finally acted. Her people scattered at once, at just the slightest nod. They had jobs to do. Even Nava was about to launch into action at last, but she hesitated and was glad to have done so.
The naval assault was sailing true, and her eyes had seen the weapon flying towards her such that she had to slide aside to be clear enough for comfort and observe. With clarity came purpose, and when one attempted to interpose his weapon her hands clapped together to weave handseals... all until she realized it was Nohea and her eyes saw a chakra far too familiar. One of those damnable universal mistakes had taken root in someone new... and her teeth gritted at the knowledge. So many paths and approaches came to mind in seconds as she examined the outburst with genuine intrigue. Finally the motion had begun and her patience would be rewarded.
All until Zhi made her move.
Bold of that ******** to do such a thing, inhibit the flow as she had. Time was not something so petty that it could be ebbed by any one soul and a toll not be extracted. Payment in blood was demanded by one of the Nagakana's tenets. That bile turned absolutely toxic, and as Nava saw Aurelia going to the spear, and Toso's smoke screen rise... she'd just about reached her limit. No, she'd exceeded it, and it showed in how she spoke from the cover of darkness. The girl grabbing the spear and shining the light ever brighter in the smoke gave Nava the perfect silhouette under which to act in direct opposition to any and everyone trying to halt the coming conflict.
Nohea may have acted foolishly, giving in as she had, but she'd acted. Wulfram was a man of action, willing to fight and die for his beliefs and that was respectable. The squidbilly wanted what? To let the sky return? To allow the course to be "corrected?" She disliked everything about him now. Everything he stood for, the status quo as it appeared to her, was pitiable. No, she had a vested interested in seeing the sky reign in red. To see Belamos fight an eternal battle against the infinite gyre of the Sea Mother.
Maybe Matani of the Dead was still attached to the idea that people need to suffer to grow, or maybe that she had seen enough of a weak decade under weak leaders and now she wanted harsh times to reign. Maybe, at the end of the day, she was a mad cult leader with a dangerous philosophy. Who cares in the end?
"I am tired of all of this senseless bitching and cavorting on like any of this s**t matters," she exhaustively called from within the smog. Even without the sight of chakra, even without the power to divine every position present Nava could be clearly felt in presence as she lifted one of those blood hands into the air, feeling the power of her blood and glowing an Azure blue beyond reasonable comprehension. Many thousands of writing tentacles lifted from the earth, her chakra manifestation the same as the old witch whom had once shaken Zahara to his core. Towards where Toso had been speaking she was exceptionally vicious when she spoke. "You lack the focus to perceive the truth, this much has become clear to me. One does not stop motion as you and that time witch have. We do not bow before the idols of god's demanding worship. You all claim that we need the sun? That your damnable sacrifice will make everything better by giving himself up? You all disgust me, and the very world in which you survive."
"I tire of this frivolous posturing. I tire of watching you all waste your OWN lives and time. Gods? Men? The empty sea? The newly darkened sky? All is Nagakaborous, and I will see you all... LEARN." she roared. Her hand came down forcefully, blood splattering across the space as she did so.
"Kuchiyose no jutsu!" she roared, drowned out by massive upheaval, pure and savage in it's presentation. The very earth was torn to pieces as Hakkon rose from below, tearing the land of the crows asunder and even throwing their naval transportation out to see with the massive wave his entrance formed. There was room enough on his back for him to easily house everyone, Coda and Sadayo included, and they all would start there unless they moved in the ensuing chaos. His very presence weakened the power of the counter sensory, of the smog, of everything not specifically intended to do harm. Nava, from her placement atop a slowly falling tree weaved a vicious set of seals. With everything happening, the massive and changing battlefield, Nava combined a hell of a set of techniques together. Her target was simple.
Everything. Hakkon spoke a direct challenge to all those above. "Show me you deserve life, or PERISH!" her spoke in assent with Nava as he casually cancelled out any and all active genjutsu. "Focus!| Meanwhile, nava's own attack came to life at the simple clap of her hand. All at once, the smoke was clear as a mighty burst of black flames and winds kicked out from her position, sending a mighty cascade of earth rippling free from her position as well. To say the least of it, being hit by this mighty combination would be devastating, but more than that the affect would see everyone also launched fifty feet high. Considering the might she'd loosed in such quick succession, Nava ran her tongue along her lips and considered, briefly, that she might be going overboard.
But overkill is underrated, and as such she had one last trick up her sleeve with a pair of handseals in place. Through the debris, a charged spear of raiton, the Chidori True Spear, would sail out towards Toso in specific, wherever he ended up after the he defended against the attack. With the backing of Hakkon pumping up her action speed, her free hand also aimed at none other than Aurelia, intending fully to pierce the sun's relic, the spear, with her the spear's katon counterpart.

Locked elemental affinities can be unlocked through methods such as ninjutsu class or personal attributes. Elemental affinity personal attributes are automatically allotted to locked affinities. Combo Element Kekkei Genkai and Jiongu users do not have access to Dual Ancestry nor can they be chosen as a secondary bloodline. Dual Ancestry users do not have access to the implant system including the Genetic Palette personal attribute. The flicker would displace Sadayo from the ground and high above the treeline. Sadayo succession of seals follows and she aims her arm downward as a faint trickle of energy bounds and swells into a grand breath of smoke. Producing nothing? Why she demanded they move would have to be taken seriously to avoid being caught under. In sunlight, this many would have seen an exceptionally large stone item falling from the sky. For her part Coda seemed significantly less concerned, and the two with the knowledge of her existence would likely find the following events somewhat strange given general preconceptions about the art of transformation - provided Zhi even recognized her as more than a strangely energy imbued bird. Hell, Coda probably wasn't even particularly chakra laden considering they were in the sage lands. None of the shaking or upheaval produced the traditional puff of smoke from disruption, and the woman did not respond to Sadayo in any meaningful way. She was, quite literally, a crow at the moment - no smoke and mirrors, no visual trickery. The Yozen's response was to simply flap her wings, furiously batting away from the massive beast like hoards of other crows, taking to the sky in hasty retreat. As she fell in with a flock beating for the outlands, she'd become as invisible to anyone without exceptional prowess as nature normally was during a heated confrontation. One more crow in a land brimming with them.

Channeling Martial Skill Training:
Ability for techniques to carry two elemental properties. Ability to add bloodline elements.
Flowing Arts Training:
After this skill is trained, any attack that follows a dodge or evasive technique is treated as a counterattack, and the user's total bonus to agility can be attributed to the strength of the next attack. When this ability is performed it cannot be used the following post.
Once every three posts, the user may utilize an offensive technique that targets a specific part of the target's body that would disrupt their attack. This offensive attack deals damage regularly but allows the user to use their remaining activations as offensive as well. Kyotoryuu Training:
As a result of intensive training geared toward defensive and evasive maneuvers, the Kyotouryuu practitioner can now effectively react to an opponent by converting their speed into an agility boost for two posts with a three post cooldown. This requires no activation or resource cost. Kaiser Fist Training:
The user's armor retains it's former effects. Now, the armor emits a crackling, bright, white hot chakra that appears like a thin aura around the user. The chakra causes mild burns on contact. In addition, the user gains a [1] point increase to strength and speed per rank of the armor.
This training adds to the previous effects of the Kaiser armor's technique. In addition to that, the target's armor now allows them to regenerate 10 stamina per rank of chakra applied to each technique while the armor is active. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold.
The final stage of training for the Kaiser Armor. In addition to it's previous effects, the Kaiser armor now causes searing burns upon contact that blister due to the crackling chakra. Additionally, the user's strength and speed are increased by [1] point per rank of the armor instead of it's original [1] point. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while this armor is active create shock waves five feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
Mirror Image Arts Training:
After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation.
The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.

▱▰▱Yatagarasu remained silent during Toso's subtle interrogation. He had no intention of breathing life into the musing accusations by incriminating himself. "I'm afraid you're sorely mistaken if you believe that I have the power to kill a god." The crow king spoke another adept evasion using the truth to cloak his deception. Yatagarasu then listened to Luo's words and found his second set of statements quite compelling and convincing before responding in agreement. "Your words are true. Mortals should face their fate and not succumb to meddling. But what also holds true is that the Sun's return is an inevitability that cannot be escaped." Free agency and choice were not luxuries held by gods nor men in Yatagarasu's view. He saw in the prophecy that the blackened Sun would be restored to its true form one way...or another. And so the following events unfolded with Wulfram as the impetus. "I seek the return of natural order and the fulfillment of prophecy. As a creature of natural energy, what you call a summon, I have unyielding disdain for the perversion of nature. There's no logic in me pursuing a permanently corrupted Sun." These suspicious mortals were beginning to wear on his patience. He became enraged when he heard the roar of the cannon. Immediately, he released a massive amount of black flame from his beak that clashed with the cannon fire. Before his flames could turn into a black ring of fire, they were canceled out by the equal power of the cannon. But this defensive use of the technique successfully neutralized the oncoming attack in equal measure. As Wulfram and Nohea would clash before the spear he watched the time god's daughter reverse their actions and separate. While this manipulation was useful within this moment, he worried about the possibility of Wulfram's continued provocation. "You are a short-sighted fool!" Yatagarasu yelled directly at Wulfram from his seated position before following it with an extremely loud caw. "I shall take the light from your chest and you will know your own powerlessness!" If the caw was heard then following this threatening proclamation Wulfram alone would perceive Yatagarasu taking flight from his throne and gripping him in his talons before pinning him down. Once pinned, he would see, hear, and feel Yatagarasu ripping open his armor and chest before consuming his organs. The pain would cause an unbearable amount of mental stress as he would smell and taste the blood flowing through his mouth. This torturous enchantment was meant only to stall him and prevent further action. Yatagarasu's true actions would be concealed to Wulfram by the fog of the illusion and Wulfram would remain standing unharmed in the forest. Nava's actions followed this including summoning a rampaging sea monster that destroyed portions of the forest and also aimed for the ship and Toso. Following that, a puppet string attached to the spear and light beacon held by Aurelia. Knowing that it could possibly not be enough to secure it, Yatagarasu used his last possible action to loose a blast of nature chakra from his beak. This was aimed to collide with Aurelia to protect her but, more centrally, the beacon to prevent it from being taken away. The bolstered spear would become illuminated with vibrantly green energy while it was within Aurelia's grasp. Suddenly, traces of light would be drawn from every child of the light in the area. This extraction of light would not hurt the hikariton users in the slightest but it would serve to empower the beacon. "I gave you all a chance to take the right action, but now I must force the flow of fate! Aurelia Karna, point the spear's beacon at the Sun!" This was Yatagarasu's last-ditch effort to restore the Sun as he closed his third eye in the black sky. Doing so allowed the Sun to appear over the Midnight Dreary Realm for the first time in millennia. The black Sun offered no additional lightning but the darkness that blinded it began to slightly flicker at the indication of the spear's beacon. Success would have been more assured if all of the light users contributed willingly, but Yatagarasu hoped that the introduction of his pure natural energy would empower the light chakra in the spear enough to restore the Sun. If Aurelia decided to follow Yatagarasu's command then it seemed to be their best chance in his estimation.

The fire then spreads outwards at an incredible speed consuming the entire ground level before stopping at the edge of the ring (topic). He will usually retrieve the summoner by flight before utilizing such a massively devastating technique. Those who are consumed by the Field of Fire suffer fourth-tier burning effects. This technique has the ability to take on the special properties of the contracted summoner's flame properties that are granted to that contract user through their bloodline or Personal Attribute.

Disdain and anger, emotions pure and simple danced openly on the surface of Wulfram's face, yet something more primal called. An ever-existent tumultuous rage boiled beneath the shell, it threatened to consume the Knight. Ganymede called out to him, his sister's whispers, shouts and screams unheeded as he clashed with the cloaked demon. Nohea had been quick to meet his charge and the initial burst would have been softened against the others, their flow of bladework interposed against one-another as she turned into the Guard-Captain to keep him from striking her father's spear-turned-deific-beacon. One of the children's eyes shone red, like The Emperor's, and the hooded child absconded with that damnable spear.
"You cling to icons, figures, and hopes. Empowering beings who would trample the rest of us for solely existing!" The Knight shouted down at Nohea, the venom in his voice palpable as he leveraged Ganymede who began to glow in unison with her brother, the soul blade raised to meet Nohea's onslaught as time itself suddenly warped around them.
Ganymede shrieked in his hands, the essence of deific chakra tearing at her very soul, as it tore at the carefully crafted seal that had been used to preserve her after the body had been wasted by the half-god that had been jealous of her beauty. The astral chakra that helped bind her let her voice cry out loud as she whimpered under Zhi's unknowing influence.
Wulfram's rage grew. A spark flew.
Calm words spake in the distance, the shrouded man had attempted to persuade him, to assuage his anger and calm him in terms of the 'fate' lain out.
"To the man with the blade fit to punish, are you quite certain of your choice-uni?" ...yes."Are you willing to carry the burden of time the world must remain in the darkness until oh...somehow you find another way to bring the sun back to its former glory?"...anything, to keep the power of divinity out of the hands of abusive mortal beings, and in the realm of possibility. In the realm of hope. In the realm of... The world faded around him and he stood in a light-filled void, a feminine figure whose hair trailed upwards as if carried by a torrent cast her wary, tired gaze down upon him.
He form was fractured, at her ankles, wrists, and neck splinters had formed and the light shewn through, the darkness that formed her, the astral sea that comprised her very being was split. Her mouth opened as if to speak, and white light poured forth, the words incomprehensible, but the sentiment borne upon her twin brother. In their tormented mindscape, Wulfram collapsed as the effects of deific chakra relinquished them and he felt himself able to move freely again. The words of the obscured Toso still fresh in his mind.
"I will gladly carry that, and any other burden if it means this never has to happen again." The Knight roared as he held the blade Ganymede aloft.
His eyes met those of the Crow Lord and narrowed as the blackened bird called him short-sighted. The loud CAW rang through his ears and a wash of chakra draped over him. The void of Luo, so ensorcelled to protect him from Genjutsu, kept it from infecting his chakra network, but the Knight witnessed just what Yatagarasu had intended. "I shall take the light from your chest and you will know your own powerlessness!" The crow demanded of him, and he watched the genjutsu specter of the beast launch itself from where it had been into the image it had attempted to portray of The Knight. Wulfram stood unphased and lowered his blade. An illusory crow stood with his legs pinned against The Knight, and it fed upon the entrails of the man. Wulfram had no taste of the pain, Luo had proven an effective teammate.
The Knight grew ever more incensed.
Wulfram felt the yank of power against his own, he felt as something reached to take the last light that remained from within him. His eyes opened wide and he trembled visibly. The same void that Ibis had shorn to him, now began to shed its effects upon him, to fill the gap that had been drawn when Yatagarasu attempted to pull against him.
His rage festered and his hand quaked as it held his blade.
"I will not be trifled with!" Wulfram bayed as he stepped over his figure in the Genjutsu, his blade pointed to the creature, the indecipherable rage building to a fever pitch as Hakkon burst from the ground beneath their feet.
One foot stamped on the illusory beast, his eyes glowing fiercely as he shattered the illusion the half-Tengu had given him insight through, to dispel the illusion entirely. His eyes made contact with the crow once more as he closed his third eye, and the sun began to shine once more. Anger filled the Knight once more, he had not known just the depths to which the bird had lied to them, but the rage grew. The hatred for the deities grew.
The Knight, Wulfram Armistead, snapped. A guttural roar escaped the man as he reached out to the sun and stole the spark of light back, wielding it in his left hand. Divine Flame, fueled with anger and pain, instead of the hope and wanderlust that had led the merry Knight on the roads for years prior. His right hand relinquished its grip on Ganymede, who disappeared and returned to the Knight's scabbard, before he reached out to the void and pulled the nothingness to grasp. What divine spark had kickstarted this calling in motion, what light had brought the Knight here, had been contorted by anger, rage, and general hatred for the divines.
A new Demi-God was formed, one whose domain was shorn from the blood and anger of those who suffered under the yoke of divinity. A man rent from the blood and sweat and tears of a journey that led him to the rape and death of his own sister at the hands of another of the living gods. Tears swept the face of Ser Armistead as he stepped forward, his void hand outstretched.
The first source the Knight could wrest upon, Luo, would be enveloped in a secondary void. The void would enwrap both men in a shroud that protected them from deific forms of chakra, [ Vacant Release - Deific Abilities ][ Presence of Mind - Luo Ibis ], and his stern appearance marched forward. His light was dim, faded by the events that had preceded, but fueled in flames and sparks of his own anger. Replaced for now, in actions by the heart of the Void.
A shadow fell over him, as the crow opened his third eye and the sun returned to this darkened realm. Wulfram had been awoken to the depth of the play written and performed by the gods. He witnessed Jashin's incessant hunger. He stared down the crow, the castaway messenger, whose eyes were responsible for the mortal transgression upon Utu's realm. His perception was still raw, he could not yet make true of his new senses, but as his eyes remained on those of Yatagarasu the Liar, he sneered. A Pig Lid fell over several of his compatriots and himself, upon the back of the giant turtle Hakkon.
It split open.
Ganymede had been drawn into the void hand of the new Demi-God, and his movements fluid. A dance of rage and silver spun astral blade moved through the dome [ Edge Punisher| Blade Dance - next 3 techs ] as Wulfram took his first swing, the vengeful strike shattering the dome and slicing into the hardened shell of Hakkon if it did not brace itself for his assault. Debris and the harmonic wave of chakra would carry forth, boulder debris from the assault flying forward at the Crow Lord [ Edge Punisher| Unearthing Vengeance| Rank B-S+ (Str) ]. Through the split debris, Wulfram took note of the various figures and made a leap, his eyes focused on one figure in particular.

He attempted one last time to separate the girl from her father's relic, but not in destruction. Now he sought punishment. As he sailed through the air towards the girl, he loosed Ganymede and she faded into the abyss before she appeared in her sheath once more, and his eyes were intent upon Aurelia [ Edge Punisher| Quick Strike | Rank C-S (Str) ].
His outstretched hand reached for the shaft of the Sunspear, and should he be able to grasp it, he would attempt to fling the contemptible spear beneath Yatagarasu's breast as it loosed its volley of nature chakra [ Edge Punisher| Wrathful Weapon | Rank B-S+ (Str) ]. His body twisted in a tight spiral and would collide with Aurelia were he able to achieve his goal. The follow-through, if successful, to capture the bird's Nature Volley in his void grasp, and return it through his furious light palm down into the spear.
He aimed to kill Yatagarasu, then re-ignite the sun with the bird's sacrifice.

Lillian sat, in her tree, in till Wulfram lashed out. The act surprised her, as she knew the man to not be one of rushed action. Immediately, the ex-soldier snapped to attention, one arm raised to send het knives flying in defense and join in the fray... that was in till she saw time unravel and rewind in front of her as easily as a child playing with a toy. She instantly recalled the murals at the abandoned temple, of would-be-gods traipsing where they shouldn't, sticking their hands where they shouldnt be. It set her on edge... but not as much as it did her other half.
She felt the subtle cracks, the changes in his demenor before Wulfram ever snapped, and instantly she was filled with worry. Wulf, more than anyone, had had his life's worth of bad dealings with demigods and the sort... and now it all seemed to be collecting in to a pit of hate and fury. She began to move in his direction of the knight in till the very ground below her exploded. In the chaos, she was almost crushed, but managed to pull herself free in time to hear the absolute heartwrenching roar for fit for a beast thsn a man come from the only constant in her life.
The sound shattered her heart like glass under a heel.
The historian watched from on top a pillar of debris as Wulfram launched in to a flurry of attacks, blinded by the very rage he had fallen prey to. Stumbling down the impromptu clifface, Lillian began her sprint towards the man- becoming little else but a flittering streak of orange in the landscape. "Wulf!!" Despite her call out, nothing happened, as if he could no longer hear her. Was he really so far gone? Debris kicked up from his attacks and she watched in utter disbelief at the pure amount of power coming from Wulfram. Her pure terror, for her brother-in-arms and not herself, caused a huge flare if chakra from the fuin burned in to her palm. Taking one last breath, as deep as she could manage.
"Céile! Please! Stop this!! Wulfram!!" Lillian fought back tears, looking over the utter destruction, trying her best to reach in to this beast of rage to her friend. "STOP THIS MADNESS AND LET US GO HOME."
tabSuga let out a gasp as the ground around her and the others erupted into shrapnel. With the very ground quaking as violently as it was it was all she could do for Suga not to collapse further to the ground from her kneeling position. Unlike most, Suga wasn’t filled with waves and waves of anger. She didn’t have some moral disagreement with the situation at hand, or any rage at those who were being uncooperative or even a third part anger at the childish bickering. All she felt was desperation, hitting her like a cold wave. The girl was strong, definitely stronger than most for her age. But that was the thing: for her age. She was now surrounded by folks older than her, more experienced than her.

Suga wasn’t sure if she’d even be able to fight back against Wulfram in his base form, let alone in his new one. She watched helplessly from the shaking turtle shell with her Sharingan as the man’s chakra levels rose with his rage. It was inhuman! Even with her Sharingan, between the debris and his speed she was barely able to keep up, let alone fight back! But… Suga turned to look at the daughter of the New Sun and she knew what she had to do. By the time Wulfram made his lunge over to the group holding the spear, Suga rose to her feet, her own body becoming coated with Void Chakra as she stood. [ Vacant Release [ Munashii Kaihō ] | Rank C - Immune to Wulfram Dierk Armistead ] In her movement to rise the girl put herself between Wulfram and Aurelia and turned to face the other girl. The samurai placed a gloved hand on top of the daughter of Belamos and used her Void Chakra to cover her as well. [ Presence of Mind [ Taizenjijaku ] | Rank E - Aurelia Karna] Suga was attempting to make the two of them invulnerable to Wulframs attacks, but all she managed to do was put herself in the way of the Knights attack on Aurelia.
While in the darkness of the Dreary, all Aurelia could make out under Suga’s hood was her purple and orange Mankgeyo. But, when light returned to the realm, even if it had been there for a brief moment, she would be able to see Suga’s features: a girl with black hair that fell just above her eyes, and the face of a young girl in her early to midteens. And she was smiling. “This is from your family, right?” She asked, just loud enough for the three of them holding the spear to hear. “Make sure you protect it with all of your heart, okay? I would, if I had anything to remember mine.”

__ Zhi was thrilled by Aurelia's willingness to work together and for a moment, it felt like they'd get this important task done and over with in a jiffy. However, a flash of precognition warned her of inevitable meddling for all the perspectively right and wrong reasons. Her glee as the sun began to only slightly relight became faded and she sighed as her gaze left Aurelia, Suga, and the spear, "They still want to fight... haaah..." As she finished turning away, what could only be described as an afterimage of herself remained to keep channeling her bond to the light and a fraction of her divinity into the spontaneous ritual. She continued to actively but effortlessly share her sensory information with her other selves. The other image of Zhi turned to face Wulfram as he debated with Toso and then Nava as she preached the word of her faith in the one called Nagakabouros. The latter dialogue did in fact ring the faintest of bells, but she was no lore keeper and she knew she'd never be all-knowing like her father. The young azure-haired woman set her golden and blue eyes first on Nava, but made no move beyond her place only a couple feet away from Shokyu and the others. Her body became alight with a pale prismatic glow as she manifested her more mortal powers to face these challenges. This was where she had to make her stand against the foolhardiness that was to come. As much as she preferred to hold back and wished to settle things peacefully, it seemed that she'd actually have to use some force to protect the future for a necessary endgame. Nava's hand slammed against the ground, causing the dreary forest to quake and rupture as a massive turtle rose up from under the soil. However, even Nava would have to take notice of the quaking's magnitude being far greater than anticipated. Was she going overboard or was it the thousand gigantic roots that rushed up out of the ground? The roots also glowed in a similar pale light to Zhi's empowered aura as they were augmented with the natural energies of the land and air around them- even more so since this was one of many regions blessed by Evergreen for the benefit of the mystical creature who resided within it. Nava too could become entangled in tree she had perched herself upon as it sprung back to life and added to the relentlessly reaching branches. All of these mokuton creations would aggressively drain both Hakkon and its summoner of their chakra if they were restrained for long. Likewise, it wouldn't be able to fully rise out of the ground while the roots tied it down from its feet all the way up to over its shelled bulk. Meanwhile, Sadayo dropped the massive pig lid atop of the gigantic turtle, adding to its restraints for just a moment. Zhi would have to remember to thank Sadayo when she visited her family in the near future. Her clone's golden eye glowed more brilliantly for a moment as the fiery winds cast by Nava were simultaneously bound and aged back into the nothingness they from whence they came, saving all from the violently consuming wrath of Nagakabouros' zealot.
Zhi's gaze narrowed on the lidding that had fallen into place over Hakkon, Nava, Wulfram and the Knight's many comrades in arms. She knew they would all support their leader for one reason or another, and she had confidence still that nobody would lose their lives nor would she fail in her own mission to restore the light to the world. Like Suga, Zhi could feel the unusual surging forces welling up from Wulfram even while he was out of sight. The proud and clearly victimized knight projected his rage and fury even before cleaving the Pig Lid apart with his mighty blade. Zhi's time schism, likely mistaken as a typical clone, would then erect a bright barrier of white light which could protect from all sides with its almost spherical shape due to the dust, light and blast release kekkei genkai blended into it. "Everyone stay in here! We're almost done..." She mostly did this to defend against any of the debris that might have missed its mark from Yatagarasu. Only an attack from directly below had a chance to still breach its defenses; although the light cast into the sky by Aurelia's father's spear continued to shine through its ceiling- too strong to be contained even if she wanted to. Anything else would be wholly deterred with its overwhelming destructive might. Zhi herself stood just on the outside of that barrier, ready to face Wulfram head on when he would charge in his blind rage. Yatagarasu had resorted to forcefully draining the other children of the light to supplement the energies being channeled to restore the sun. Zhi was most certainly disgusted by this, but had to deal with bigger problems at present. Either way, it seemed that the sun would be restored in the coming moments if she could hold the line.
Perhaps Wulfram thought himself fast. Then again, he clearly had no idea who was directly opposing his fanatical personal vendetta against the divine who generally lacked the same hatred for him. Zhi could feel his unusual detachment from the flow of time, but knew that even that was only temporary. A blinding flash of blue would be all that Wulfram saw before she met him before his goal. "STOP THIS NOW!" Zhi howled with a mildly irritated plea just after a flash of light exploded from her body. She was able to draw on her hikariton from a former self prior to Utu's murder, a luxury even Utu's granddaughter currently lacked. This light would reach out near-instantly with the repelling explosive properties of a bakuton technique. Failure to avoid would throw Wulfram back toward the chakra-draining roots and branches that were still working at binding Nava and Hakkon. Either way, he would be severely blinded by this powerful flash nearly on par with the light of the sun itself; it was thanks to the thin but dense crystal armor coating her skin which amplified the light's potency as a whole. The explosion would be far from fatal to Wulfram, especially in his current state, but he'd feel the brunt of just a fraction of Zhi's restrained might in that clash.

They were partners of the dance, dedicated to the hand played and dealt then and now against all odds. Blood seeped from eyes and pain swelled up all over the body, his mind was becoming clearer as it also became overcast with emotion. Wulfram's pain was Luo's pain even if he had not felt it, or fully understood it. Failure to protect the Knight was on the half tengu's mind, he saw the illusions were ripped apart by his own Void... but to what end had his inclusion in the matter helped the end result? This avatar of anguish and fury, hearing the cry of the Wi-- of Lillian. To break her poker face, to be fearful. It sparked a primal sense in the man, he was blind to all else now. The great beast that rose up from under everyone even slipped his mind, the stranger who blotted out sight... the Truth bearer losing themselves... Even the crow was no longer upon his mind.
No. Not another, do not let me lose another to something out of their control.
Where Luo stood wasn't upon the back of the great beast anymore, his mind was focused on the knight as golden chakra swirled around both him and Wulfram. The bleeding crimson eyes of Luo shone bright, a Mangekyo born of these events and he soon was no more, Wulfram would be wreathed in the natural energy now as a silhouette of black wings would be upon his back and his eyes layered with a crimson hue as the void presence around the man grew intense. The full extent of Luo's power now was shown as he ghosted inside of the knight using his own chakra as the beacon and now the two were one. For better or worse, Luo was a loyal creature and he was fully committed. This chaos and mayhem was far from what he wanted, one man given up to a ritual that he'd thought senseless was the first trigger. The mentions of the god jashin were another, tweaking and prodding at the halfling's memories of how his clan fell from grace. Now, Wulfram becoming... something that was alien and yet connected to the events that painfully reminded Luo of his own accession as a Sage.
Luo stood there still, battered by the beast that had came up from under them all but he kept staring at the ensuing mess and he gave his focus to Wulfram. The eyes strained as he focused all of his effort upon the knight, blood dripping from them as black and gold chakra swelled. It was a painful affair maintaining the link now as vision faded, the woman who turned time and reset the affairs of a demon and man... He felt the alien grasp of another touch of Void, familiar and yet foreign. Not of his own kind. Through the link he had with the Knight, Luo commenced a Korabo and his eyes strained harder as the world would not bend to anyone now. Riposte activated The protective veil of Void became rife with golden sennin chakra, the space around him distorted and fractured as any attempt to interfere with Wulfram's advance would be counteracted and reset through Luo's own power. Void Izanagi. The woman wasn't the only one who could bend the laws of time. The moment Wulfram was even affected by the bending of time, he would cease to exist for that moment in another realm but still present at the very same time. He keyed the ability to only activate when the witch worked their magic, only for his jutsu to slip them through at the very least once.
And finally, the phantom of Luo would manifest briefly around Wulfram as the foreign sennin chakra gathered in a ball in front of the knight. It pulsated and glowed bright of both natural energy and the halfling's chakra. Luo hated this power, hated the natural energy within him. To him, it wasn't natural to him or ever meant for him. Not to a disgusting yokai as the others often said. "Don't... let yourself fall Wulfram! Do not let it consume you! You'll end up just like my father, dead and burnt for all the fury consuming you! I stand with you until the end, you've Lillian to shoulder your burdens as well." Luo's voice shook as his vision was worsening under the sharingan's effects. You were right, Lillian. People do suck, and it ain't just humans. Sometimes its a ******** crow. Boom. The chakra fired off from Wulfram.
A large forward directional blast straight in front of everything Wulfram was facing, a concentrated beam of natural energy hued with the Void. The target? Whoever was deemed an enemy for Wulfram and Luo, one of the strongest techniques a mortal can muster and now it threatened to blanket everything in its path straight for Yatagarasu. The beam let off a thundering roar, the very shockwave would shake the entire area as one little small addition was combined with the beam. One simply out of sheer spite of Luo. As the golden-black beam roared and sought to rip through everything between Yata and Wulfram, everyone in the entire area who would hear the beam, settle their eyes upon it, or even feel the shuddering shockwave would feel its odd effect. Their mind would blank for a moment, a sound of thunder roaring in their skull, and they would just forget what they were about to do, why they were there. A small thing, but one simply of Luo's want to make his presence known to everyone there even if slight.
He staggered during the whole ordeal closer to Lillian, the senjutsu was gone but his eyes still bled. Fear gripped him, remorse and regret as well. He hadn't meant for the chaos, now he feared for what may become of Lillian and Wulfram. Loyalty sucked sometimes. Vision blurred, the past haunting him, and now the sennin light was lost from him for a time. He never felt so vulnerable, he looked onward to Lillian as he fell to the ground from the exhaustion. "Does you arm still bother you, Witch?" He breathed out. "Give hell, let loose. Protect him..."

• Dance Partners | Up to [2] people can now be marked by the Presence of Mind technique, they are immune to the damage of Black Waltz when it is used upon them. Luo treats those marked by the technique as a Void technique and consider them an origin point for future Void jutsu as well.

The target then hears not the snap but instead the sound of thunder, which triggers a sudden lapse of memory. The first time a target is exposed to this Genjutsu, they instantly forget what they have been doing. The second exposure, they forget what they have been doing for the last 3 posts. A third exposure and they forget what they have done for the last 10 posts. The fourth time of exposure, the target forgets the last in-real-life week. The fifth and last possible time of exposure causes the target to generate a temporary form of amnesia, stretching back an entire in-real-life month. However, the target slowly regains their knowledge after every 5 posts (descending in exposures), and cannot be afflicted with a lower exposure until all healing has been performed.

It seemed her goal of firing this into the sun had run into a few human sized walls. Aurelia looked up at the silhouette of a woman screaming of a god from above while the Little Sun held her father's keepsake. "I can agree with you on that first part." She muttered to herself before the ground beneath them would begin to shake violently. It was a hassle just to keep a stable footing as cracks in the earth formed, with entire chunks becoming uprooted in the Land of the Crows. Her feet took her aside as a part of the ground where she had stayed would have given away. Yet her weapon still remained in her hands, gripped as tight as she could muster. The only way Aurelia was letting go is if they tore it from her by force. Up above, the woman's chidori spear would come sailing her way at speeds which could rival the light's. She had no time to defend herself and braced for impact.
Before a rather timely intervention.
"Whu-HEY!" Something poked her in the back HARD, the same kind of sensation latching onto her spear. Aurelia was forcibly pulled across the way by somebody else, though thankful for the assistance. She hated being helped like this but in this situation? She'd take anything that she could get. The latches detached and she was free to move on her own once more, also being granted protection by the King Crow himself. A blast of nature chakra collided with her while Aurelia winced on impact, though would feel her light being pulled towards the beacon alongside the other hikariton users. Yatagarasu gave his order to her, her target clearly in the skies above, though a fraction of its former self. "Hang on, Dad." Aurelia muttered, Shokyu in her arms before the roar of another pulled her attention away. The man whom Nohea had gone in search of a fight had seemingly pushed her away in order to summon power from the summoned beast that had laid ruin to this bit of the battlefield to empower himself further. Aurelia clutched the spear with both hands and took aim at the sun until another interception had likely saved her life. A hooded girl had thrown herself in between Wulfram and herself. Her features looked rather young, reminding the girl of some of her friends back in Arashigakure during the raid. Somebody who was much too young to be enveloped in all of this, much like herself. She registered her comment and didn't need to be told twice about why she was doing this.
"I won't, promise. Thanks for the save."
With three pairs of hands on Shokyu, Aurelia did her best to keep aim of the Sun, which was adversely being affected by the knight and his power over her own. But Zhi came back in for another assist, expelling a great deal of light to try and blind the man interfering with their plan. The Karna closed her eyes just in time for the shine to expel him backwards. "Alright, Shokyu!" she swung the tip which channeled the light from the tip, aimed towards the blackened sun before them. Her fingers gripped the hilt while expelling any kind of hikariton chakra that she could call upon in her body. "Time to shine!" With a second of silence, the nature chakra in the weapon would fire off towards the sun from the tip while Aurelia would stand her ground, thankful for this blue haired girl's continued help to get them through this.

While others dodged, and evaded, and perhaps sought shelter beneath the daughter of a deities barrier. Toso remained in place. Which then brought the question how he did so. Holding what seemed to be a star shaped bauble in his hands within it the chakra's comprising Kya's techniques did stir ringing and appearing as if it were a menagerie of stars contained in a small trinket. While it was not enough to stop it from affecting some others it had diverted the chakra in its surroundings that had specifically targeted the man. It would thus have provided its protections unto the kage himself. Indeed, the kage himself. The Arashikage's persona of 'mystery man' would be shed here with his change of attire. There was now an unfortunate alleviation of the discretion. While it would have benefited him to have long left already via isekai-junsei the Arashikage desired to serve as the one key spectator to how this history would unfold itself...but more so...was it again possible to see a mortal man overthrow the proclamations of divinity.
In his other hand did he still hold his cane sumikān and upon the sudden hurtling of the Chidori Eisou was he readily prepared. The Starlight Banquet came with a caveat, he effectively had no access to his own ninjutsu to counter the technique, however, this was a non problem, The Arashikage after all was just as experienced physically as he was mentally after realizing that in order for Arashigakure to remain a sanctuary he could not be the 'idle' kage forever pushing papers. Kage's needed to carry themselves as a proponent of power and while this was something Toso did not favor totting around or as the kids call it 'flexing' in this moment it was necessary. Yet just how insignificant he was to Nava made itself apparent as she focused her assault on the symbol of the divine. Good. The Arashikage wasn't about to go ham for something as 'trivial' as spats between gods and mortals. The dividing factor between Toso's ideals that gods should mind their own damned business on their own damned planes and Wulfram's similar thinking was he was willing to go the extra mile for that belief...and yet the question of why that was remained...a mystery. Perchance. He was spurned in some way? If that were the case...hohoho. My perchance the bird and man weren't all that different from each other.

▱▰▱Yatagarasu fired his beam of natural energy which successfully powered up the spear. The beacon of light was fired forth by the daughter of the sun god's successor. When it was redirected to hit Yatagarasu before ultimately colliding with the Sun, the crow king disappeared in a puff of smoke. He was summoned away by the crow sage and laughed as he was inadvertently rescued from Luo and Wulfram before he could take defensive action. When the light clashed with the Sun, the black shroud immediately dissipated and the golden light of the Sun returned to the world. All of the world's hikariton users would feel their access to their kekkei genkai be completely restored upon the moment of the Sun's return. The group would see the Sun's return as light would drench the Midnight Dreary Realm for the first time in many centuries. With Yatagarasu's disappearance, the individual messenger crows who escorted each person here would return to them to guide them back home.

Luo Ibis | "The Tengu Outcast" | Civilian Advisor of Gurinbare-to | Human Sage
Since Hakkon had shown, the imperial ship was already out to sea and now the chaos came down. A black darkness covered the landscape all but briefly, Luo's Void covered the turtle's back as he extended his touch to all of the fire empire's allies. Luo heard the laughter of the fleeing crow, he could not see the end result of their scuffle with his fading sight but he could manage one last thing to protect his comrades. Vantablack chakra swirled around both Wulfram and Lillian as they would feel a sense of weightlessness, the world shifted and churned as Luo's own chakra winked them out of existence -- Kamui. Every other fire empire ally whom was there was then coated with the void as Luo held a single handsign. A pale grey mist rose as he flicker stepped to the one known as Shuusui, warping him back to the Leaf village before he vanished as well in a veil of smoke.
Onto the ship, Wulfram and Lillian would appear in a swirling black mass, the world bending around each after having been shifted through another dimension. Luo didn't appear right away as the black void in the distance faded off of the turtle. The mist was a ploy, Clem and Shuusui were safely brought back to their homes from a use of Kamui. A puff of black feathers came as the black wings of Luo's chakra shown vibrantly as he staggered onto the deck of the ship. Eyes bled, vision blurred, he fell over where he appeared in a quiet slump of exhaustion.
"Don't let it consume you, Wulfram." Luo would say as he picked himself up and limped off to a quiet part of the ship. Eyes closed, he navigated by touch and familiarity instead. "I'll be... asleep." he said in a mid step before toppling over a second time, snoring in a crumpled heap on the bow of the ship. // Transition post for Fire Empire. // Shuu / Clem sent back to Leaf.
