Just like that, it was over. Lillian looked up to see the sun reappear, and when she quickly lokked back down to try and find Wulfram, all she saw was blackness. Once back in the ship, she panicked only for a moment before she saw Wulfram was teleported as well. When Luo appeared, signalling the last of them safe, she shuffled back off to her cabin room; tired, battered and bruised, with her arm burning like a sun, her entire left sleeve demolished. She had been readying an attack, preparing to sunder the sky...
She was happy she didnt have to.

[ Some Liberty is being taken with this post, to finalize it into the chain of events as canonized by Ozy's final Yatagarasu/Narrative post. Apologies Forthwith. ]
Wulfram burst forth to be met by Zhi, and as his path was blocked by the enigmatic Demi-Goddess, a massive surge of Nature Chakra poured forth from the void through him. Luo had burnt the final reserves of his Senjutsu and with it cast away one of the timesplit apparitions of Zhi. It had been enough of a break. Barely. Wulfram through the void, Luo's void imbued Izanagi, and his own Rage cast himself against the Demi-Goddess' barrier at injurious speed, forcing himself to exist beyond it, though at great cost to his ally's sight. As he approached the others he grasped the spear and tossed it to the gigantic bird's feet, his body forced between them with his explosive force.
Rage boiled in the man as he met Yatagarasu's natural blast of chakra and redirected it. The overwhelming force slowly turned the man's hair white against the right side of his brow, and as the blast resounded down to the spear, then heavenwards, the crow dissipated into smoke. He had been summoned away.
A wave of new anger washed over Wulfram. But his rage fell into despair, and the shrieking of Ganymede at his side as the light resounded and Wulfram began to posit with light once more, expanded, and grew louder to the point the Reiken blade could be heard to the others nearby the Knight. He roared to the heavens, and halted only as he heard the worried voice of Lillian reach his ears.
Reason had found him through the woman who had stood by him for so long.
Then the rush of others who had tried to speak to him.
The other Demi-God, or Demi-Goddess, rather, Zhi had called on him to resist his primal anger. To stop his fight. His eyes met hers. His view whirled the battlefield that had been borne of the crowlands. The Arashikage, the daughters of the sacrifice... Luo as he spoke, his eyes bloodied. Wulfram approached Zhi where she stood and as Luo's void enwrapped Kamui took the presence of the Fire Empire away, he grabbed the Demi-Goddess.
__ Certainty and confidence were of two sides to the same coin, but neither could ever afford the costly mistake they almost always promised. It seemed that in the heat of the moment Zhi had grossly underestimated some of the aggressors she was trying to deter. As she had come to face Wulfram, wholly with the intention of yet again blasting the knight commander back once again, she was met by an overwhelming wave of exerted natural energies cast by Luo. Her active powers could soften the impact of those destructive forces, but not negate them. "Oops!" She whispered as the consequences of her naivety manifested. The Zhi that had originally appeared to help restore light to the world was erased from sight by Luo's attack, but the barrier maintained by her other self withstood the attack amicably. Just then, the powers of Luo's Sharingan also managed to give Wulfram the split moment needed to slip through her maintained defense anyway. Those dang wacky eyes sure were hard to plan for sometimes, but thankfully the enraged man was too late to stop the sun's restoration. What was more, his struggle to get through Zhi's defenses had cost him his chance at delivering retribution upon Yatagarasu. It was only for that split moment, but the remaining Zhi could feel a ping of the chakra used to call the crow king away with uncanny timing. Wulfram turned to her, clearly still quite drown in his adrenaline, but instead of pressing the attack he reached for her. As she vanished with the Land of Fire's entourage, another Zhi appeared near where Belamos' spear had been thrown. Another time schism, of course.
Before worry could set in upon Aurelia or Nohea regarding their father's relic, Zhi again vanished from sight, but this time appeared before the sisters of Dawn and Dusk and offered Shokyu to Aurelia. "I believe this is yours. Don't worry, they probably aren't coming back here... yet. Maybe?" Zhi seemed a little aloof in her manner of reassurance, but she offered the two a smile all the same. After returning the spear to its new owner, Zhi then looked over to Sugaka and also smiled to this brave outsider, "You were impressive! Thank you for not... well, rather- thank you for being a friend today." Zhi gave Suga an acknowledging salute. The hand she saluted with then was held out toward the girl with such a unique Sharingan pattern and revealed a small rune-covered white rock that would barely fit in the palm of ones hand. Suga would probably most recognize its shape being similar to that of her non-Mangekyo Sharingan's tomoe. "This is a token from me, as thanks. I can't tell you what it does, but promise you'll keep it with you as often as possible. Like, turn it into a necklace or something? Yeah, that'd be pretty on you!" Zhi clapped once then glanced back to Toso who had thankfully chosen to abstain from the fighting. Past him might have been Nava and her restrained turtle summon, but even that wouldn't be for long since the her that was controlling that jutsu had died. "Oh my gosh! I died..." Zhi chuckled but then got a rather somber expression as she turned her attention to where the other her had stood before. "Everyone is getting so strong now, so maybe things aren't as hopeless as it seems. That's good... probably." Her mumbled thoughts wouldn't likely reach beyond the ears of Aurelia, Nohea, and Suga unless someone cared enough to tune in with their super sense of hearing. Lip reading was also a fair bet, but she wasn't too worried right now. Mission accomplished, after all. Zhi returned her gaze to the others, being mindful that the fighting might not be over, but she really hoped so. She figured Aurelia definitely needed a moment, so she'd just be quiet again until it seemed like time to talk some more. There was still a lot to talk about, but not here.

In the literal blink of an eye confusion reigned over the Uchiha priestess. A single line played in her mind on repeat at least seventeen times as the fact that reality had been unwritten on her person continued to snap in her memory.
The audacity of this b***h. A pit formed in her gullet, filled in entirety with a flaming hatred that promised to well up and burst out eventually, whether that was now or later. It was so distracting she didn't even feel it as Hakkon bucked against the vines attempting to restrict him below. With little to no effort those same vines reached over him, snapping into place around her legs and arms and breaking her transfixation upon Zhi. The purity of her hatred for this... thing... was something she couldn't even rightly fathom, and that gave her enough a reason to pause that she'd been damn near catatonic as she stared at the one within the barrier.
Her chakra being drained made little difference. Her indecision had cost her dearly, and she'd failed to make either this crow die for his sins, or the sun stay removed. She felt the warmth bathe her nonetheless, and her skin was ill suited for the sudden UV poisoning. Unlike her sisters, Nava was born defective, and the pale skin and poorly protected eyes, besides the sharingan, felt more heat than anyone else likely did from it. Even still the feeling of it on her face and the sudden death of the vines restraining Hakkon made her sigh with fleeting frustration on the breath. She closed her eyes, resigning herself to the punishment of failure for her stark confusion and lack of focus. She watched Luo and Wulfram leave, eyes trailing after the newly formed Demi god and realizing that the man would need a visit in the same vein she had. The test would destroy or ignite him, but that was far from her current concern. With a snap, Hakkon disappeared in a massive poof of smoke, and Nava went with him. By the time the smoke had cleared, the Truth Bearer too had vanished with nary another word.
Teleported, of course, right to the boat she'd been upon before with a very liberal use of her eyeball magic. The Bilocation always made her nauseous but as she reached the hold, she merely grunted and laid on her cot, waiting for the boat to move so she could take a damn nap.
And then, tomorrow, hell would be paid in so. Many. Ways.

A rather calmly stated statement as the Arashikage bore witness to the literal vanishing of nye near everyone present in the blink of darkness. He was well aware of their presences withstanding of course until they were no more. He had closed his eyes relishing in what was once chaos coming to a peace before clutching his chest briefly. It was an odd feeling as though he had just been stabbed in the chest. As if his very stamina had been drained from him, but as quickly as it came it went. The Arashikage would look down momentarily to make certain he didn't have a stab wound in his chest and was relieved when this was the case. Still this begged what had caused this. Little did he know a red haired woman was doing battle in his office with a unscrupulous version of himself. That said from the many faces that were once present only three remained. Nohea, Aurelia, and this mysterious third. Even the accursed black bird was gone.
Now came the after math of everything. A inky black symbol of lightening crawled up the Arashikage's arm until it swirled around in his palm. The chidori from earlier manifested, crackled then dispersed in flecked sparkles. The Arashikage would then approach the place where the three youths had remained. It seemed the blue haired one of whom he had for some reason a nagging distaste for despite not knowing their name had been roped in by that sword bearing fellow who was committed to ensuring this result of the returned sun be kept from occurring. All in all he'd failed, while Toso knew the mans reasons there was no denial in the rashness of his actions even if Toso was in favor of the mans opinions.
No doubt there was tears and bitter-sweetness to be had but that wouldn't prevent the Arashikage's approach. The sound of what could be compared to wind chime tinkles sounded as he stealthily approached the no doubt possibly grieving bunch before they'd be surrounded in what seemed like swinkling little stars that shaped themselves into tiny images of the sun. The feeling would be warming and invigorating as the chakra that was contained within the bauble was scattered among them in this spectacle before he spoke. "You lot have had quite a day ahi. It's good to see that Karna legacy has overcome this trifle...ah..." he paused momentarily perhaps considering maybe his words were in bad taste the term 'too soon' coming to mind. "Taiyo-kami was a good man. Perhaps he'd be cursing me for not taking a more active roll in assisting but all things considered that blue haired woman seemed to have had things in order ahi... Toso would rest his hand on his head feeling like he was just making things worse. "hmmmm I suppose I'm not good at this 'consoling' thing. I suppose let me say that you're welcome in Arashi whenever you need respite this is the least I can do." he shook his head still thinking he was lacking in the 'consoling' department. Then looked at Nohea. "Nohea was it? Perchance if your in need of strengthening your bond with your 'roommate' I can find the time...after all you and I are quite alike in that department." Toso closed his eyes as a momentary flicker of all six tails of the Rokubi manifested behind him and faded before he opened them again.
He then looked outwards to shore. "Take your time-ahi. My anti-sensory techniques should keep you from unexpected ambushes for the time being and offer some privacy. I've business that needs tending to and whilst I'm in the summoning lands I should see to something else as well." back to the group Toso would dig in attire until he produced some form of device. A cellphone, or more aptly named 'scroll phone' as it used chakra and the scroll communication technique to send messages back and forth. A GUI that could be compared to modern day smart phones but its haptic feedback responding to chakra in ones fingertips as oppose to fancier mechanical methods. He'd hand it to whomever would accept it or place it on the ground nearest the closest person. "Feel free to use this should you need of me ahi." tabThe young girl collapsed to the ground, her hands and knees pressed against the hard turtle shell that had replaced the ground beneath her. Her breathing came out heavy, like sheโd been running while also holding her breath. As she fell, the black hood that covered her face fell to her shoulders, finally revealing the face of the fourteen year old girl. Isโฆ is it over? She thought to herself. Sheโd felt the massive amounts of chakra being thrown around from all around her. The waves upon waves of normal, nature, and divine energy all colliding against her senses like tidal waves, overwhelming her like she was a small boat in the middle of that wide ocean.
But she couldnโt see any of it.
Sugaโs purple and orange Sharingan faded back to black the guard was finally able to catch her breath. But everything was black? The sun was supposed to be back, right? But why couldnโt she see?! Suga felt a pain that was localized right to her eyes, a throbbing that was starting to make her head hurt too. She hadnโt meant to turn off her Sharingan, it just suddenly became harder to maintain. Was thisโฆ from the Kamui I used? She asked herself, slowly trying to piece things together while she calmed down. Rough turtle shell, the cool breeze, the shuffling of the massive crowd leaving. All of these things she tried to focus on to get herself back on track. There was one thing that helped her out, however. The voice of the blue haired woman, standing in front of the young girl.
Suga raised her head to look at Zhi reflexively, though she couldnโt actually see her. The young samurai stood to her feet slowly, her body still shaking. Zhi had offered her something, but Suga didnโt know what it was. She reached out slowly, carefully, fumbling her hands around the object for a second before finally grasping it. Large, round, heavy. A rock?
Suga slid the object into her pocket just as she felt the familiar weight of her crow, Tsuki, land on her shoulder; โThank youโฆ for saving meโฆโ Was all she could really get out. She was scared, it was obvious. But there was a subtle sense of frustration to her words. Suga thought she was decently strong, but it turned out she was nowhere near the realm of strength that was possible. The girl had been outclassed by everyone here. The girlโs unknowing fist clenching would most likely give it away. The girl took another calming breath and reminded herself of something: if they can do it, so can she. And sheโll be strong enough to unlock her past.
So she smiled again and looked in the general direction she thought Zhiโs head was. โMy nameโs Sugakuda Usamomi, and despite the circumstances, it was nice to meet you.โ The girl said with a bow, like how her foster family raised her. โIโll try to get stronger so that you donโt need to save me next time.โ
__ There wasn't any time left to interact with the zealot who had been whisked away with the others from the Land of Fire. Of course, her other self had also been more or less kidnapped to go with them. It worked out, though. When the gigantic turtle was dismissed Zhi's massive tree roots, branches and trunks all began to glow a soft white before dispersing like cinders from a fire. As these light cinders fell to the ground they repaired the Crow Lands to be as though a fight hadn't recently happened at all. Meanwhile, Zhi's gaze wandered to the approaching Arashikage. To think, the last time they met he was just trying to get a hold of the situation with Masato's sudden rampage and deter them from further needless violence. Worse yet that this just led to a lot of needless casualties and pain because Zhi couldn't control her powers yet. There was a recurring sadness in her gaze as she watched him talk to Aurelia and Nohea, but she said nothing yet. Not even when he mentioned her handling the aggressors, 'He seems like a kind and reasonable person, but..' Emotions were a matter where most changes in the time line happened most. Would her wish to apologize change anything in the future? 'Father only suggested that I forgive myself, not that I couldn't still apologize...' She carefully reflected on this while Toso offered sanctuary in Arashigakure to the Dawn and Dusk- as designated by the new Sun God. Zhi stepped forward when Toso offered the scroll phone and took it. "I... uhm..." She started to open her mouth but suddenly couldn't find the words that she was certain she spend a literal half a century-worth of time trying to assemble. It didn't help that Zhi regretfully expected Aurelia's opinion of her to surely flip the moment she said what she wanted to. 'Duty first... unfortunately.' Zhi gripped the scroll phone for another moment as Toso started to leave and she returned to the others with the device. It was promptly given over to Aurelia or Nohea with a sad surrender of a calmed heart and mind.
By the time she returned, Suga had finished blindly studying the gift Zhi gave her. The revealed young girl's features and the mingling tones of frustration and appreciation helped a small smile return to Zhi's lips. It was an expression she remembered wearing what felt like a very long time ago. Sugakuda seemed to have some trouble tracking Zhi's exact whereabouts, and that's when she remembered again that the girl had been using those wacky Sharingan powers. More specifically, she now remembered that those powers came with quite a price. Still smiling now, Zhi reached out and briefly but gently pressed her index and middle fingers against the center of Suga's forehead when she rose up from her bowing gesture. The soft tap would only slightly push the girls face back, but by the time she recentered her head all of her sight would have returned to her magical eyes. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Suga-chan. I hope you do- since I won't always be around to help. I'd say you proved how strong you can be though, and that's what is most important for you to take away from all of this." There was a strange hollowness to the girl, and yet somehow Sugakuda also seemed quite wholesome. Zhi's curiosity wouldn't go unanswered for long, as her sensory abilities were practically peerless even before she attained divinity. Even so, it wasn't her place to say anything about it. No matter the path, the girl's destiny was as much her own as anyone else on Evergreen's diverse world. "Zhi. Zhi Zenshin, but feel free to just call me Zippy. Or Zhi, you can call me that too. I don't mind." Who could say if any of them already had information on her name? Or if Toso didn't have sharp enough ears to catch it on his way out? What ever would happen was what would happen. After all, nothing after Utu's murder was charted time anymore. The only rule still guiding her was that she couldn't actively influence events without Zelel's explicit permission. Zhi had free reign beyond that.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Weeks of travel, weeks of thinking... it all lead here, to the crow lands and what to sure to be the first of many stops along her travel. Her approach was silent and swift. Having forsook the offered airship and crew, Shion's encroachment upon the summon lands was singular, save for her own summon. The young wild cat bounded ahead of the huntress. "This way, boss. I think I got his scent... or maybe it's the birds. Hey, boss!"
Shion approached without a word. Her eyes scanned the dead woods, piercing through her ANBU mask and flickering back and forth like a pair of mismatched beacons shining through a fog. Unfortunately for the pair of cats, their enhanced senses would yield nothing but dead ends. "Sorry, boss. I really thought I had them." Shion glanced down at the cat. "It's not your fault. We're in a foreign summon's space... now stay alert. No doubt we're being watched."
Taking a moment to get their barings, Shion removed the scroll that held her orders. For countless weeks, she'd reviewed the names, and she'd do so once gain. Over and over, her eyes scrolled past the characters making up the names of her quarry... each pass lingering longer on Takao. From behind her mask, Shion allowed herself to show a bit of her hurt, gritting her teeth where none could see. "Uh, boss?" The young cat could tell something was off about their summoner. "It's nothing. Let's keep searching. We've got a long way to go."
__ Struggling to climb to her feet, Nohea awoke to the at field the was devoid of life. Her mind was filled with a fog that obstructed what she had last been doing, there was... thoughts of a battle and... is that why the ground was so cracked and torn everywhere? She needed.. needed to find.... AURE! In a single spark, it had all came rushing back to her, her father, the fight for the spear, but... had someone used some kind of gen on her? She didn't remember why or even how she had been knocked unconscious, but her blood swelled with the burning need for revenge. But first, she needed to find wherever Aurelia had gone to. "Aurelia?!" Nohea called out, mild desperation starting to set in. She could lose two people in one day, she wasn't strong enough...
tabSuga was rocked back by the relatively light poke of the woman before her. She stumbled a bit but opened her eyes once she regained her balance. Everything was blurry at first, as even in the short time sheโd lost her sight her eyes had already adjusted to the darkness. But the girl blinked a few times as her light returned to her in a matter of seconds, allowing her to finally see the result of the conflict she could merely sense. The ground of the Midnight Dreary was shattered like glass in a mirror, with the trees acting as the fallen frame. Yata was gone from his perch, and only a few of the messenger crows had stayed behind to fly over the destruction. The massive group was slowly milling out of the impromptu battlefield, each and every person looking about as tired as Suga felt. The events over the last few minutes were exhausting in sheer tension alone, to say nothing of the high level jutsu being tossed around. Between that and the emotional turmoil, it wasnโt hard to wonder why members of either side of the dispute looked like they hadnโt slept in a week. The daughters of Dusk and Dawn looked especially beaten up and Suga felt her heart wrench in pity over the loss the two had endured.
And despite it all was the woman who healed Sugaโs eyesight. Zhi. Now that Suga could see her properly, the samurai was surprised. The blue haired goddess looked only a few years older than her, and around the same size. Suga couldโve sworn she was taller. But it didnโt matter, the end result was the same. Zhiโs positive demeanor was infectious, and even made the normally recluse Sugakuda tilt her head and smile, her bangs of black bouncing as her head moved. โThank you, Zhi.โ The white crow on Sugaโs shoulder cawed loudly and fluttered, making sure he was known. โNo-one forgot about you, you big baby.โ Suga turned to look at the bird with a mild glare. โThis is Tsuki, by the way. And he says thank you, too. Donโt you, Tsuki?โThe tone Suga had implied something comedically harsh and made the bird tremble and fly off and hover around the two. โBut thank you, again. Everything you did was so cool!โ Sugaโs face lit up, emphasizing her youthful features. โHowโd you get so strong? Can you teach me?โ

The resulting blast from Shokyu would course through all three of its wielders, Aurelia taking the full brunt of the blast as the chakra soared towards the dimly lit sun, reigniting what had once gone out. The heat from the blast was great enough to course through her system. Her body was already acclimated to the immense heat but not all of it was as immune to the effects. Her beautiful red locks would lose the dye applied to them, done so to feel more attached to her now late father who would reside where his grandfather had done for quite some time to come. So when all was done, Aurelia would sit up from her knocked down position as her mind replayed what had happened. Zhi had come to her and handed her Shokyu back, which she graciously accepted and kept close to her person. "Thanks." was all that she would manage to say and reflect on her words regarding Belamos. With her lips pursed in thought, she heard the shout of her second, fearful of not being able to find her. And with the knowledge of somebody that knew what a demon wielding grumpy person could cause if their final straw was pulled, Aurelia would take off in the direction of the shout.
"I'm here!" she called out to Nohea, eventually coming across the girl who she had grown so affectionate for. Nohea might find it more noticeable than Aurelia that she had gotten a bit of a hair change. Had she even seen her natural hair like this? She had been keeping it dyed for so long. "There you are." The Dawn said, Shokyu on her back and coming to close to just wrap her arms around Nohea and squeeze. It felt nice to have at least one thing she was close to safe and sound. Maybe battered, but alive nonetheless. "Don't ever scare me like that again."

SHIONxxxxxMORI Shion spun around, letting off two roaring blasts of blue flame straight into Takao. They had no effect, simply whizzing through his astral body, but Shion didnt care. After all he'd done to her... or all he hadn't done, to be more accurate... he deserved a beating or two. Her head hung low as she began her march towards the object of her affection... the object of her ire. Each step shook the earth below her as radial blue blasts of flame erupted from beneath her. The gap was closing, and soon Takao's reckoning would be upon him.
The space between the two closed further and further. With each inch, Shion's demeanor grew more and more threatening. Her hands clenched into fistts, growing tighter and tighter till her bone-white knuckles shown almost as bright as the glowering blue and green eyes that bore a hole into Takao's very soul. Behind the mask, her teeth were grit as she fought back a flood of conflicting emotions. Shion had spent plenty of time waiting for this moment, plenty of time crafting the perfect response that would drive this idiot into the ground and leave him broken...
Shion opened her mouth to deliver the death knell, but found herself weakly asking, "Why..."
SHIONxxxxxMORI Sorry? Was that all he really had to say, that he was 'really sorry?' Whatever crimes he did, be they real or merely perceived, didnt matter; Shion could move past those. What really killed her was how he could just up and leave like that. Thought it would be fun... What, was she not fun? Was the idea of village life with her so unbearable that he had to literally jump ship with a bunch of kids? He couldn't even be bothered to leave a note...
She wanted to lash out and throw it all back in his face. She wanted nothing more than to tell him something stupid about running off with the kids for good, tell him that she was too good for him... but something in his voice stopped her. Shion's job was to read people, and she'd gotten good at it, but she didnt need any of her training to tell that he was sincere. He really did believe what he was selling her. Still, there was no way to be sure without actually meeting up. It was time to put him to the test.
Shion looked up into the boy's eyes, fighting back a deluge of emotions, and barely managed to squeak out, "Where are you? I'll come get you." This was it. did he really want out? Was he willing to cooperate? She could offer him an out with the Kage if so... but if he cut her off here, he would be resigned to the same fate as the kids. Toso and Shion were close, but there was only so much she could do.
__ Zhi nodded to Sugakuda when she finished introducing herself. "You're welcome, both of you. Heh heh!" She chuckled then her gaze moved over to the Dusk as she called for the Dawn. The pair were reunited with Belamos' relic in the rightful possession of his orphaned daughter. Zhi smiled gladly for them, then looked back to Suga again when asked about her strength and to be taught. Zhi blinked and realized how short-handed her introduction was. She slapped her forehead with the palm of her right hand, letting a loud CRACK echo off of the nearby trees and such. "Oh yeah! Sorry Suga-chan. I'm actually really strong because of my parents, but I think I can teach you some things- if you really want." Zhi nodded approvingly of taking the girl as a temporary pupil. After helping here, she'd earned at least that much of a favor in Zhi's opinion. "One sec, please?" She raised an index finger to emphasize the little request before suddenly shifting away from Suga to stand beside Aurelia and Nohea while they were reveling in each others' well-being with an endearing embrace. "Excuse me, Dawn and Dusk? Pardon my interruption, if you'd please." Zhi bowed deeply to them, but kept on going after noting Toso completed departure from the vicinity, "Aurelia of the Dawn and Nohea of the Dusk, I must warn you both to stay on guard. The true battle has yet to come. Those responsible for Utu's murder are only the beginning of a growing darkness." Zhi's playful, chipper tone had rather abruptly sobered as she gave her counsel, "Become stronger- much stronger. Gather your allies and try to make peace with your enemies. Belamos may call on you when the time comes. We'll need as much help as we can muster before then." Zhi words of advice to her fellow demigoddess were surely interruptive of any grieving or ephemeral relief. Of course, the were no guarantees that Aurelia would realize what kind of friend she'd just made this day. Zhi was more or less prepared to depart after saying her peace, but would answer any questions about her spoken prophecizing or otherwise to the best of her ability.

tabSo it was her genetics that made Zhi so strong. That really shouldโve been obvious to the girl. As Suga thought about it, everyone that was here was probably strong by their own respective birthrights. As the blue haired goddess spoke with the two sisters, Suga began to wonder how her own genetics made her strong. If they did at all, anyway. Well, if nothing else there was always Sage Mode-... wait. Now that the commotion was faded and gone, Suga was finally able to notice something. Something had been nagging at her in the back of her mind since she got to the Midnight Dreary, but with everything going on she hadnโt even paid it any attention. For some reason, ever since the Uchiha stepped foot into the realm it felt like something had gone missing. And now sheโd finally put her finger on it.
Her connection to the natural energy of the land was gone!
While Zhi gave her ominous message to the two sisters, Suga took the chance to get some answers for herself. โExcuse me!โ She called out to two crows sitting on a nearby branch, pulling her hood back up. โWould you two happen to know why I canโt sense the energy here? Is it something to do with the eclipse?โ
โCanโt use Nature Chakra if youโre not a Sage caw!โ One of them called back before picking at its feathers with its beak. โCanโt be a Sage if youโre not on the contract, ca-caw!โ
โThatโs absurd!โ Suga shot back, the zipper of her cloak jingling in the silence. โOf course Iโm on the contract! Iโฆ remember training here when I was younger.โ
โI'm not sure about that, chief. We donโt recognize ya. And if weโve never seen ya then yer not on the contract, no way no how, missquawk!โ
"Weโll just see about that.โ Suga grumbled as her slightly blood stained, gloved hands formed a string of seals. โYatagarasu would know; heโll clear this up. Summoning Jutsu!โ With a yell she slammed her hand to the ground, her cloak billowing out behind her as she unleashed chakra! And then!... โNothing?!โ Suga asked herself, lifting her hand from the ground and looking at it with a dumbfounded tilt of her head. The crows started to laugh as Suga rose to her feet with a sigh. โOkay, so how do I-โ The girl paused and rolled her hand as she tried to find the right way to ask. โDo it all over?โ
โFind Satoshi Hojo, heโs the contract holder.โ One crow simply answered.
โOkaaaayyyy, but whereโs he at?โ Suga asked after a pregnant pause.
โOh girl, you are not seriously thinking of looking for Sato!โ Another crow exclaimed, drawing the attention of some other birds nearby. โThat kidโs a monster! Heโll rip you to pieces and tell ya itโs yer fault!โ Suga, while momentarily confused, got the point after a few seconds. It would be hard to tell with her face covered in shadow, but the forward tilt in her hood would indicate an overwhelming discouraged feeling.
