Cartwright(c) vs Marcus Damone

Marcus had been beaten down and at the mercy of the Ferocious Four, a fate similar to that of Salem Croft seeming certain. He's barely even aware of the attempt at help from both his cousin, Andre, and the number one contender, Ken. But as they come in to fight off his attackers, Marcus himself can focus only on the big man, The Blood Imbruer, as he attempts to back elbow him in the side of the head to get free of the chair  

[Cartwright]

Oh crap! It looks like there's a couple of lads in the back who are holding a grudge against The Ferocious Four!

Ken is the first man out from the arena entrance, attacking Gary and Jester from behind with clotheslines to the back which knock them down to the mat, causing them to roll out of the ring!

Cartwright becomes distracted as he sees his allies fall, allowing another sneak attack. Andre enters the arena through the fans, sliding into the ring and turning Cartwright around to face him. A big right to the jaw sends the champion through the top and middle rope!

The Blood Imbruer looks furious with himself, as he was unable to warn his teammates of the upcoming assault. Everything happened so fast! Before he knows it, Marcus has elbowed the side of his head and he's had enough warning, choosing to slip to the outside himself as the crowd roars for Ken and Andre saving Marcus.

The Ferocious Four meet-up by the entrance ramp, seething at the men inside the ring for daring to put a stop to their plans.

the crowd is already going wild with Marcus now a bit more clear headed in the ring with his backup. But it's time for them to go into a frenzy

Oh wah ah ah ah

The very familiar tune of Down with the Sickness hits as flames burst up on the stage momentarily, heralding the arrival of the head of the Damone family, Jarel. The Dragon steps out onto the stage.

Walter Stevenson: The Dragon has arrived! He's standing between the Ferocious Four and the exit

Jeff Jefferson: Yeah, but why did he come so late? Why didn't he come out when Ken and Andre did?

Jarel merely stands, looking down the ramp at the scene before him, seemingly just waiting  

[Cartwright]

Bloody Hell, another Damone! The Ferocious Four turn around to face the legendary Jarel Damone.

Cartwright whispers to his team and they begin to make their way up the ramp towards Jarel, feeling pretty confident with their numbers advantage!

 

[Drako Damone]

Jarel has no fear where he is. He knows what he's here for, and gestures for them to come at him.

Meanwhile, Marcus steps out of the ring, slowly advancing as well. He's more than willing to continue the fight, even if he's not entirely sure of the motives of his father  

[Ken Armand]

Ken isn't done either, and goes out of the ring to follow Marcus. Better to neutralize the group now, so when they make it to Starrcade he'll have Cartwright one on one as planned

As The Ferocious Four begin to approach Jarel, they soon notice that the men that they had left inside the ring have decided to leave it. Cartwright decides to direct his team elsewhere and they soon separate, escaping through the fans as the crowd boos, they were excited to see Jarel take them on!

Jarel merely watches them leave, and in a strange sight, the Dragon gives what passes for a smirk. He hadn't expected the Ferocious Four to actually stay and fight. Now he turns his attention to the actual focus behind his arrival, his son.

Jeff: See! This is why he's really out here. It's all about Starrcade and Marcus. It's all about the last match of his career.

Walter: Of course he's focused on Marcus but that doesn't mean he's not here to drive the Ferocious Four off.

Jeff: Don't play dumb, this is Jarel getting into Marcus' head. He's the man, he's the Dragon, he's the head of the family. If he's going out, he's going out on top of the mountain and he's going to bury his own son underneath it. Can't blame him honestly.

Walter: Will you stop?

Marcus advances up the ramp to come face to face with his father. Face to face, eye to eye, elder to youngster. Jarel says something, which no one else can make out, before he turns away and heads backstage
