Crystal Manipulation
Description: This control allows the Crystal user to create and bend existing crystals as though it were their own. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate their crystalline objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any crystal that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

___ Rank D: Small crystals [a rock].
___ Rank C: Medium crystals [a growth].
___ Rank B: Large crystals [a stalagmite, stalactite].
___ Rank A: Enormous crystals [several columns].

• Requires [5] parts of a paragraph, and must be learned before proceeding to other techniques. Receives no reductions.
• The amount of crystal that can be created is limited to the user's experience rank limit [at E-rank can make up to C-rank, D-rank up to B-rank, etc.]
• Freely manipulated crystal is fragile, losing any durability bonuses and resistances in exchange for flexibility.

Crimson Fruit
Rank: X | Strength: X+2 | Speed: --
Description: The user creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap a target. At E-rank, it creates a two-foot diameter sphere. The diameter doubles for each rank above that. A solid hit two [2] ranks higher than the sphere's rank can break it, and the number of hits doubles with each rank below this (i.e. One rank higher takes two [2] hits, equal rank takes four [4] hits, etc.).

Hexagonal Shuriken
Rank: E | Strength: E | Speed: E
Description: The user creates several crystal shuriken and launches them at the opponent. The shuriken are six-sided with spikes at the sides of each blade, resembling snowflakes. Creates one to twelve shuriken, at the user’s discretion.

Crystal Wheel
Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: --
Description: The user creates a ring-shaped wheel made of crystal around them, allowing them to accelerate fast enough to move on top of water. Requires the user continue running for propulsion.

Giant Hexagonal Shuriken
Rank: D| Strength: C | Speed: E
Description: The user creates a giant crystal shuriken, resembling a snowflake, and throws it at the enemy. Can cut through steel, but is fairly slow.

Jade Crystal Mirror
Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: --
Description: The user creates a large mirror in the shape of a snowflake, which they can then use to perform the Jade Crystal Clone spell. Creates a full-length mirror that can be made invisible at will.

Jade Crystal Blade
Rank: D | Strength: B | Speed: --
Description: With this technique, the user can quickly form a light or single-handed weapon made of crystal on their arm, and use it in a manner reminiscent of the weapon it represents. Weapons can be formed on both arms if needed by paying the mana cost twice, although only one activation is needed. Lasts for eight [8] of the user’s posts, or until broken. Can be broken by taking a direct hit from an attack two [2] ranks higher. Using the weapon still requires the appropriate proficiency.

Crystal Needles
Rank: C | Strength: D | Speed: B
Description: The user creates long, sharp, and pointed bright pink and white crystals that shoot at the target at extremely high speeds with pinpoint accuracy.

Crystal Armor
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: --
Description: This spell allows the user to cover their skin with a thin sheet of crystal that improves their defense against physical attacks. This armor can also aid the user to perform stronger physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it. Defense granted is C-rank, and can take three [3] hits of equal or higher rank before it breaks. The armor lasts for three [3] posts, after which an upkeep of half the original cost is required to maintain it.

Shuriken Wild Dance
Rank: C | Strength: D | Speed: B
Description: The user throws a vast amount of crystal shuriken at their opponent. Up to 100 Shuriken can be formed and launched at the user’s discretion.

Crystal Lance
Rank: C | Strength: A | Speed: --
Description: This spell functions the same as Jade Crystal Blade, but can be used to make a two-handed weapon or a polearm along the user's arm. These weapons are typically too heavy on their own to cover both arms. Lasts for eight [8] of the user’s posts, or until broken. Can be broken by taking a direct hit from an attack two [2] ranks higher. Using the weapon still requires the appropriate proficiency.

Shining Judgment of a Thousand Stones
Rank: Passive
Description: This training allows the user to create crystals harder than quartz, or a 7 on the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness. This encompasses anything that science, in our world, has dictated to be a crystal.
• Requires an experience rank of at least B and five [5] parts of a paragraph to learn.
• Encompasses all crystals beyond the 7 hardness scale.
• Crystal takes on the properties of the crystal it becomes, such as resistance to heat or conductivity with electricity.


Hashō Kōryū [ Tearing Crystal Falling Dragon ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user crystallizes a material in the area, and then turns it into a dragon. It can be used as a means to travel or to attack a target. Several dragons can be made and manipulated at once.
Guild Description: See official description. Each additional dragon costs [ 20 ] Chakra to create, and each takes [ 10 ] Chakra per post to move.


Kesshō Gokakurō [ Crystal Pentagonal Prison ]
Rank: B
Official Description: Guren completely encases her opponents in crystal. When the crystal is shattered, the bodies of the victims disintegrate along with the crystal particles. When Shino's kikaichū were examined after being affected with the technique, they appeared to be covered with a frostbite-like pattern.
Guild Description: See official description. Provides enough crystal to totally envelope two targets.


Shōjinheki [ Crystal Encampment Wall ]
Rank: B
Official Description: Guren sends out a wave of chakra which then turns into an almost impenetrable crystal wall which also repairs itself when damaged. This crystal most likely has a similar endurance to the one created by the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique. Only Shino's enhanced insects were capable of weakening the wall enough for Kakashi to finally destroy it using his Lightning Cutter.
Guild Description: Creates a 20 meter radius field of crystals. Chakra-based techniques are treated as one rank lower against it.


Suishō Bunshin no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Clone Technique ]
Rank: B
Official Description: After she performs the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Mirror technique, Guren can make multiple clones of herself emerge from the mirror. These clones are made of crystal, as after Hinata Hyūga defeated one, it crumbled back into crystal. Clones made by this technique are also able to deceive Byakugan users because of the reflective nature of the clone. However by focusing their sight, this can be circumvented.
Guild Description: After creating the Jade Crystal Mirror, up to three clones can step out of it. They are treated as full clones of the user in terms of strength, but have the defense of Shōton crystal. Dōjutsu cannot see through this clone.


Omiwatari no Jutsu [ Gods’ Crossing Technique ]
Rank: A
Official Description: Guren places her hand on a surface, creating a long stream of sharp crystals to bind and pierce a target.
Guild Description: Creates a line of waist-height crystals 100 feet in length on whatever surface the user is touching in whatever direction the user is facing. Crystals that pierce targets will automatically envelope them.


Shōrōha [ Crystal Imprisonment Wave ]
Rank: A
Official Description: A larger scale version of Crystal Release: Crystal Pentagonal Prison, Guren can encase a swarm of opponents in crystal, as shown when trapping Shino Aburame's kikaichū. Unlike other crystal prisons used by Guren, where the crystal emerged from the ground, this crystal forms in the air.
Guild Description: See official description. Only requires one hand’s usage for purpose of hand seals. Traps in crystal everything within 5 meters of the user, including insects.


Suishōheki Hachi no Jin [ Jade Crystal Wall Eighth Formation ]
Rank: A
Official Description: This technique allows Guren to encase a large area in crystal, thus crystallizing everything within it. This technique was first used in Guren's battle with the Three-Tailed Beast, but to no avail, as it broke out shortly after.
Guild Description: See official description. Covers an area fifty meters in radius.


Kesshō Ibara [ Growing Crystal Thorns ]
Rank: S
Official Description: Guren creates growing thorn-like crystals that she can manipulate to continuously grow towards her target's direction.
Guild Description: At first usage, creates a large, leafless tree made out of crystals. For every post afterward, the user can create or extend one branch up to ten meters long for ten [ 10 ] Chakra. Branches are sharp enough to pierce through all but the hardest materials.


Suishō Rokkakuchū [ Jade Crystal Hexagonal Pillars ]
Rank: S
Official Description: This technique, which was used for the process of summoning the Three-Tails, creates six large pink crystalline pillars around the user. It was used to enhance Yūkimaru's ability to the point that he could summon the Three-Tails, although with assistance from Kabuto's medication.
Guild Description: After the needed hand seals have been performed, six large crystal obelisks—each twenty meters tall—rise from the ground in a hexagonal formation. All Chakra-based techniques used within the area marked by the obelisks is greatly increased in power. Enhancement effect lasts for six of the user’s posts.


Isshi Kōmyō [ String of Glory ]
Rank: S
Official Description: After using the Pressure Points of Harm and Death technique, Guren encases herself in a prism of crystal. The prism can hover in the air, but seems to be immobile. However, the prism protects her from almost any attack, as it was capable of withstanding a barrage of continuous Rasengan, only shattering in the end. In addition, this technique allows her to attack by focusing her chakra into powerful heat blasts launched through the prism's tip.
Guild Description: See official description. Heat blasts overcome any defenses up to S-Rank, and up to 4 heat blasts can be launched per activation. Requires Shishō Tenketsu [ Pressure Points of Harm and Death ] be active, sacrificing at least 320 Chakra. The barrier is treated as S-Rank in strength.


Suishō Meikyū no Jutsu [ Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique ]
Rank: S
Official Description: First Guren creates a large number of crystal flowers. Then she can grow these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals. Enemies trapped inside it will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as generates mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan because of its reflective nature.

Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, and its wide surface will disperse the force of wide range attacks, reducing their effectiveness. To overcome this technique, an attack that has impact force both wide and powerful is required to smash through it.
Guild Description: See official description. Labyrinth is totally enclosed and is 500 meters across and 50 meters tall. Can be destroyed only by elemental Korabo Ninjutsu of the same rank or higher, regardless of elemental components. Reflects Dōjutsu.

Blood Manipulation
Description: This control allows the user to bend and solidify their own blood. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

Description: The user draws a small amount of blood from their pores, allowing them to create a very small needle. This needle is thin and only stretches about 3 inches- basically a sewing needle. Its main purpose is simply to pierce the user in order to draw additional blood, but uses are left to the imagination.

Description The user takes aim with a single hand and then launches up to fifteen [15] stone red pin needles from the pores of that hand.

Crimson Ring
Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: D
Description: With a flick of the hand, the user draws their own blood and flings a sharp ruby disc roughly the size of the palm.

Blade of Ruby
Rank: C | Strength: B | Speed: --
Description: Draining a good amount of blood from either hand, the user is able to create a red stone weapon of any shape they choose. The usage of this technique results in the dehydration of the drained hand. The blade is fairly fragile and will break after five [5] uses, or if used against an attack of one [1] rank higher.

Grim Claw
Rank: C | Strength: B | Speed: --
Description: The user surges blood from either of their hands, resulting in dehydration of the chosen. The blood will wrap around the fingers of the user, crystallizing whence they've stretched out about eight inches. The claws are fairly fragile and will break after five [5] uses, or if used against an attack of one [1] rank higher.

Chi Pa-ji [ Blood Purge ]

The user places a hand over an open wound, slowly funneling any foreign or poisonous agents. Unfortunately, this process takes a good amount of time (4 posts).


Aka Kouseki Keppei [ Red Crystal Clot ]
Rank B
Whenever a severe wound is dealt to the Saiketsu user, they are able to almost instantaneously crystallize this wound to prevent excessive blood loss.
• Can only be used three times per battle.


Aka Harinezumi no Sujou [ Birth of Red Porcupine ]
Rank B
From any conscious position, the user will flood their body with chakra, pressing small amounts of blood from every pour. In a flash moment, the user will then crystallize every single strain of blood inching from their flesh. This hasty maneuver offers a wonderful defensive retaliation. It should be noted that this technique does not have very impressive range, stretching only about 6-7 inches.


Kyuuketsu [ Donation of Blood ]
Rank A
The user pulses chakra throughout their body in order to recuperate lost blood. Simply put, this is a way to rehydrate multiple limbs in exchange for chakra.
• Can only be used three times per battle.


Sabi Kougake [ Rust Colored Gauntlet ]
Rank A
By forcing all of the blood from a single arm to rise and wrap, the user is able to generate a protective and offensive armament. A full arm length hunk of crystallized armor. The tip of the gauntlet is typically twisted and divided into a trio of drill-like fingers, while the length is a series of five platted discs. It should be noted that behind the gauntlet, the user's arm is dehydrated.


Akahagane [ Red Steel ]
Rank A
Realizing that stone wasn't exactly the sturdiest of materials, the Ketsueki clan developed a method to increase the strength and durability of their techniques. By applying additional chakra to their jutsu in thin twisting layers, the Saiketsu user is able to make their end product as tough as steel and as sharp as a fresh blade.
( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional [20] chakra. )


Kekkon Shinryu [ Divine Dragon Stained with Blood ]
Rank S
Making total use of the blood within the arms, the user releases a harsh straightforward torrent of blood- shaped like a menacing eastern dragon -upon the target. Rather than causing direct damage, if this dragon manages to make contact with its target, it will attempt to drive itself into the enemy's veins. Traveling throughout the body, the dragon will attempt to reach the heart chamber of its victim where it will begin to slowly close its maw upon the heart itself. As the dragon's fangs sink into the enemy's heart, the deliverance of the final bite is controlled fully by the whim of the user. Needless to say, this technique could easily be used for torture or blackmail. It should be noted that both arms and nearly the entire upper torso region become dehydrated after usage.

Ten Finger Drilling Bullets
Rank: D | Strength: C | Speed: E
Description: Hardened bones from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the skeletal bullets. A direct hit can pierce skin and even bone fairly easily, but the bullets are slow. Since the bones of the user can be regenerated, the rate of fire from the user's arsenal is limitless.

Dance of the Willow
Rank: C (Complex)
The first of Kimimaro's five dances. To perform this dance, Kimimaro grows several long bone blades from his body for use as weapons. There isn't any set form for the Willow Dance. Just like a willow that is shaken by the wind, the opponents attacks are simply parried and countered. Uncharacteristic of a willow, the hardened bones puncture and damage the opponents body. Though he primarily uses two blades grown from the palms of his hands, he also uses several secondary bones grown from his elbows, knees, and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. Kimimaro can also extend his bones to attack his opponents without having to adjust his own movement.

Tsubaki no Mai [ Dance of the Camellia ]
Rank: C (Complex)
The second of Kimimaro's five dances, which he performs by modifying one of his upper arm bones to create a short, bone-hilted bone sword. He then stabs chaotically and continuously which causes the opponents eyes to lag behind. The speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected. And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict. With each thrust the sword's track is very capable of changing. The attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person's delicate defense reaction to come off guard. Though one can have great reflexes and moving ability, it is next to impossible to keep dodging the fierce attack until it stops. Thus if one showed an opening, a finishing blow will be dealt by one stab in an instant.

Karamatsu no Mai [ Dance of the Larch ]
Rank: C (Complex)
The third of Kimimaro's five dances. From the body, several bones pop out all at once. The stronger the opponent's physical attack, the more powerful the counter attack is, dealing severe damage. The sudden defense, combined with the needle-like bones high killing ability, makes way for a technique which potential his high for battle. The bones can be used to block or trap an opponent's strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes him basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to him, he would start to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body.

Tessenka no Mai [ Dance of the Clematis ]
Rank: B (Complex)
Tessenka no Mai is a form of Taijutsu developed by Kimimaro to take advantage of his cursed seal and bloodline ability. It is the fourth of five dance forms. He performs it after activating his level two cursed seal form, though a C-rank version is possible without doing so. The following two taijutsu are possible during this:


Tessenka no Mai • Tsuru [ Dance of the Clematis • Vine ]
The first half of Kimimaro's fourth dance. With the Shikotsumyaku, Kimimaro can modify and pull out his own spinal column, and regrow a new spine to replace it. Between the bones in the gaps there is cartilage that allows flexibility, which makes it possible to bend it as if it were a whip. With average estimation skills along with the impossible range it stretches, dodging is difficult. The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper. He would follow up with Dance of the Clematis: Flower to pierce the immobilized opponent.


Tessenka no Mai • Hana [ Dance of the Clematis • Flower ]
This technique is the second half of Kimimaro's fourth dance. To obtain the strongest-absolute hardest weapon a considerable amount of chakra is needed. Enhanced to the highest degree-maximum solidity due to the dense compression, the bone weapon is exceedingly large. Since its destructive power has no meaning if the blow does not connect with the opponent, Kimimaro first binds the opponent with a "vine". This weapon's not subject to being cut or sliced off by either normal blades or chakra steel within complex/spiritual bukijutsu, A-ranked or under.


Kaguya Ninjutsu:
Sawarabi no Mai [ Dance of the Young Ferns ]
Rank: B
Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth of five dance forms. After activating the level two cursed seal form, Kimimaro quickly grows a multitude of tall spikes from his body to create a large forest of bone. While in this form he himself can merge into the bone trees to attack his target from whichever spike he wants. Also: The last of Kimimaro's five dances. Countless bones rise from underground, which can be as many as thousands, up to the tens of thousands. The blades of bone indiscriminately slaughter whoever stands on the ground's surface. Furthermore, if this fails to bring down his foe, Kimimaro can become one with the bones, which in turn can allow him to attack an enemy unnoticed. Out of all the techniques shown through the Shikotsumyaku abilities, this dance is the only one that is ninjutsu, rather than a taijutsu.
Can be used without the level two cursed seal form, but the forest is now considered small, numbering only in the hundreds. Merging with the forest takes a C-ranked amount of chakra per post, outside of the level two cursed seal form. Those within the level two cursed seal form do not have a merging cost.


Gaikotsu no Hakui no Mai [ Dance of the Skeleton's Robes ]
Rank: A
Forming several hand signs, the user is able to form a bone cloak over them, similarly to the way bijuu form theirs. If witnessed themselves, the user will be able to exactly mimic the forms the bijuu put out as well. Unlike forming weapons and such, these bones are still considered living, and can have other Shikotsumyaku jutsu emit from them. The cloak formed must remain attached, and they will drain a C-ranked amount of chakra per post as an upkeep cost. Is considered 'supplementary' after the first post. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's flexibility, increasing the amounts of cartilage so that the cloak is highly usable.


Obon no Mai [ Dance of the Festival of the Dead ]
Rank: A
Mostly usable only when in an area filled with quite a number of the dead, human or otherwise, the user will follow several hand signs with extending a bone sprout into the ground. At a rate of 3 bodies per post, this jutsu will raise any of the dead around the user to fight for them as simple zombies, incapable of further jutsu usage but made sturdier due to the Shikotsumyaku within them. Beyond 3 bodies, the 4-6th bodies lose their complex/spiritual resilience, and any 7+ will lose their simple buki resilience. An upkeep cost of B-rank will apply to all those in the 1-3, C-rank for the 4-6, and only a D-rank for those in the 7+. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their controlled bodies: 1st-6th lower their upkeep to C-rank, 7-12th is D-rank, 13+ is E-rank, 4-6th gain the complex/spiritual resilience, and 7-12th gain simple buki resilience. (13+ lose all resilience still)


Nyuushin Bunshin no Mai [ Dance of the Inspirational Clone ]
Rank: S
After forming a one-handed hand sign, the user will step in any direction, leaving a full, separate clone of the user's entire skeletal system. This clone will mirror and mimic all actions that the user takes, but is capable of taking specific, oral directions. All chakra is shared in a pool between the two, so that if the clone performs a jutsu, the chakra is drained from the user accordingly. Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's durability, raising the complex/spiritual to A-rank and under.


Shikotsumyaku no Mai [ Dance of the Dead Bone Pulse ]
Rank: S
After forming a one-handed hand sign, the user will thrust their arms outwards, depositing all natural chakra in the area (up to 5 meters) to a bone state. Beyond 5 meters, long spikes will form from the bone sphere, extending in the direction of the target(s). Each post after the first (for a total of 11 posts), an additional spike will extend off of either the original spike, or the sphere, depending on whether the target(s) is closer to one or the other. Those caught within the initial deposition will remain trapped until they die from suffocation (5 posts), or the user gives them air holes to breathe through. (though they remain physically trapped until the technique ends) Those within the level two curse seal form also gain a bonus to their bone's durability, raising the complex/spiritual to S-rank and under.

Vegetation Manipulation
Description: Manipulate's the corresponding known Vegetation's the user has in a manner equivalent to the rank of mana expended for this spell. This manipulation allows for control over both existing and created vegetation (but not wood), and follows the corresponding chart as a loose guide when it comes to terms of limitations. The requirements for casting can instead be replaced by having ones hand or hands firmly placed on the ground.

Sudden Growth

Description: Produces a single type of vegetation from the ground for future use. If earth is visible, the vegetation can be produced in a particular area within vision. An open palm in contact with the ground upon its use can be used to replace other casting methods. For all intents and purposes, the size of the vegetation is the same as it would be naturally. The durability of the vegetation is determined by the amount of mana used. If [Bolstered Growth] is known one can spend the appropriate mana to increase the size without consuming an activation to do so. Can also be used to reinforce vegetation to survive mana interactions that would otherwise destroy them. As an example, if someone wanted to create a giant mushroom, they would need to first spend the mana to create the mushroom with [Sudden Growth]. The rank of mana spent will determine its strength in collisions. Additional mana is spent to make the mushroom giant via [Bolster Growth]. [Sudden Growth + Bolster Growth = The Total Mana for the Created Vegetation] One can create a giant mushroom with bolster growth for E-rank mana but the giant mushroom will be easily destroyed by anything higher than E-rank Strength.

Description: Mostly applies to [Poisonous] and [Fungal] types of Vegetation and causes the vegetation to begin seeping it's particular hazard slowly in a faintly visible gaseous state. This does not happen rapidly, so it can be used for subtle dosage applications. For any other vegetation this spell is used on, the vegetation will begin to emit a stronger, more pungent form of its scent and begin producing pollen to float through the air. Aside from causing allergic reaction and possible sneezing the pollen is typically not all that useful, although it can be used for pollination and cross-pollination. This happens at a rate of one [1] dose per two [2] posts, and lasts for ten [10] posts, after which it can be maintained for half the original cost per post. The gas or pollen fills a one [1] meter diameter per dose released.

Bramble Snap

Description: Casting the spell or firmly placing an open palm on the ground the user will invoke a large thorny bramble to lash out at a target as though it were sentient. The bramble remains after being grown and functions as semi-sentient, lashing at whatever comes within five [5] meters of it, excluding the user. The bramble may attempt to grapple a target. In doing so the target will need to expend an amount of stamina one [1] rank higher than the bramble to break free and destroy it. For every post spent ensnared by the bramble, the ensnared receives one [1] rank lower than the expended mana used to make the brambles as damage. Metallic armor negates this effect. Lasts for five [5] posts, after which it can be maintained for half the original cost per post.

Wild Grasses

Description: Used in grassland terrain or where grass is present. Forming the necessary casting or firmly placing their hand upon the ground the user manipulates the grass to grow and ensnare the target incredibly quickly. While fast, the strength of the grass is not all that strong. The target will need to expend an amount of stamina equal to one [1] rank lower than the spell to break free. This spell is often used as a set up for a follow up spell. However, as long as the user maintains their position of a hand on the ground, they can continue to sustain the spell for half its original cost per post in order to continue attempting to ensnare the target.

Vengeant Thorn(s)

Description: Forming the necessary hand signs or placing their hand firmly on the ground the user evokes a large penetrating thorn of about ten feet in height to spur from the ground. While this is slow it is often incredibly devastating when it hits as it's penetrative power is significant enough to pierce steel. However, as long as the user maintains their position of a hand on the ground they can continue to sustain the spell for half its original cost to continue attempting to penetrate the target.

Bolstered Growth

Description: Causes a normal piece of vegetation to grow significantly larger than it's original size and be capable of withstanding an appropriate attack. This spell strips the vegetation of its nutritional value. The size of the vegetation is determined by rank. Increasing to comparative sizes of the appropriate rank.
    ► E-Rank Chakra: Objects that are typically of small size. [1] meter in diameter and circumference
    ► D-Rank Chakra: Objects that are typically of medium size. [2] meters in diameter and circumference
    ► C-Rank Chakra: Objects that are typically of large sized. [3] meters in diameter and circumference

Description: When the user forms the necessary casting, upon using this spell all preexisting vegetation within three [3] meters of the user will begin to produce large spores or pollen the size of baseballs. In the case of [Hazardous] vegetation the spores and pollen will be hazardous. When the spore or pollen lands on the ground it will rapidly begin to reproduce the currently existing vegetation doubling it's height and thickness if grass or brush, or having them multiply, doubling the amount. If the users hand remains on the ground they can continue to sustain this spell for half its original cost per post. All vegetation grown this way will lose its nutritional value.

Bodily Garden

Description: This spell allows the user to instead use their own body to grow vegetation as if it were the ground. May reproduce the same effects of having ones hands firmly placed on the ground with the resulting vegetation coming out of ones body instead In exchange this requires hand signs. However, in some cases this is ill advised. One's body may be used for the spell [Sudden Growth] to produce vegetation from their body but this vegetation is not attached to the users body. If [Bolstered Growth] is known one can spend the appropriate mana to increase the size without consuming an activation to do so.

Description: Shapes usually form fitted vegetation into an appropriate form prior to its growth. Once learned this technique does not take chakra. The shape is decided upon the vegetation's growth. I.e a carrot is normally shaped like a carrot prior to learning this technique. After one can grow a carrot in the shape of a sword or a giant rabbit etc.

Description: After forming the necessary hand signs or firmly placing both hands on the ground when in the present of grassy terrain teen square foot patches of grass become blade like and jut up skyward to about thirty feet before shrinking back down. They then can then be manipulated in a wave like manner for the 1/2 the initial cost as long as both the users hands remain firmly on the ground. The terrain essentially becoming a field of grass blades freely manipulated by the user. The blades of grass can be detached from the ground and manipulated through the air briefly before shrinking into its normal size and dissipating. The speed at which it does this its more frightful aspect.

Sentient Growth

Description:Upon forming the necessary hand seal the user imparts their will into a piece of vegetation. The vegetation then develops 'a mind of its own' and is treated to be its own being for all intents and purposes with its own activations. Thusly meaning that it can indeed betray its creator if it so decides as while it is sentient it is lacking in intelligence. The sentient growth will follow the user command up until two posts. For each post the sentient growth exists past [2] a dice is rolled. If ever the result is odd the sentient vegetation will turn on its creator. The sentient vegetation can then be Rp'd by a moderator who will also roll dice to determine control. A Sentient Growth can only be dismissed if it is not rebelling against its creator. It's durability is the equivalent of to the rank of chakra used when it was grown. It's chakra pool is determined by how much the user imparts to it. The Sentient Vegetation can repair itself expending chakra equal to the amount of damage it received. The sentient growth knows all the Kōjōton techniques of its creator but may only grow the vegetation that it itself is made of.

Description: From the user after forming the necessary hand seals a wild array of thorny vines begins to erupt from their body. These vines lash out, wrap around, and spread digging into the ground. When the technique finally ends all individuals within one hundred feet will find themselves in a pitch black prison of thorns not unlike an arena. Similarly this technique can be used to form a dome around solely an opponent where in after the user many then manipulate the thorny vines from the outside to attack the blind opponent inside. The user is fully aware of all individuals within the dome and may form hand signs to spend an [X] amount of chakra to have one of the vines comprising the dome to attack whomever is inside.

Siphoning Grasses

Description: A technique that follows the same rules as the previous grass techniques. Upon ensnaring the target the user will then drain the opponents chakra into the vegetation causing the grass only to grow thicker. For each post spent ensnared by the grasses it's strength increases by [1/2] rank. If the user has both hands firmly planted in the ground the user can then begin transferring the ensnared's chakra to them-self equivalent to the rate of the grasses current strength.

Description: As if performing a summoning upon placing both hands upon the ground a sprawling bamboo forest emerges beneath the user and whomever is present spanning a mile wide. This forest releases a mist that prevents further summonsing of living things. This forest forces all individuals to either accompany its growth up where the stalks tower at a hundred feet high or be impaled by the spear like bamboo which rises up to thirty feet high. From here all individuals are partially forced into bamboo forest combat limiting every individuals offensive activation's by 1 If their agility is not higher than or equal to [7] and an additional action is lost if their agility is not higher than [4]. The Bamboo Forest will continue indefinitely with new bamboo replacing lost bamboo immediately upon its destruction. The technique immediately ends when only one person is left standing. Falling into the bamboo spears below could lead to immediate death or crippling injury.

Description: Mostly applies to {poisonous} types of Vegetation causes the vegetation to begin seeping it's particular hazard in a clearly visible cloud like state. This happens rapidly, and haphazardly without discrimination. For any other vegetation this technique is used on the vegetation will begin to emit a stronger more pungent form of its scent and begin producing large amounts of pollen to float through the air. Aside from causing allergic reaction and possible sneezing the pollen is typically not all that useful aside from pollination and cross-pollination. Additionally at this state. Normal green vegetation has an incredibly dangerous ability. The vegetation can rapidly begin producing oxygen similarly to how a poisonous plant can produce its hazard. Dangerous for the user and the opponent as such environs are highly flammable and can induce several effects from over oxidization.

Forbidden Technique: Exponential Growth

Description: This technique after forming the necessary hand signs begins to cause a certain single piece of vegetation to grow. This piece of vegetation will then double in amount, and then double again, its growth will continue to grow exponentially until the user of the jutsu is either 'killed' or knocked unconscious. This technique can be used to produce sustainable vegetation with nutritional value of up to several acres. However, regardless of the amount made...the user will martyr themselves to do so. The knowledge of this jutsu is not found in any scroll. It can only be found in letters written upon the Banana Palm Fan that only members of the Yashi Clan or a Devout Researcher can read.

Description: The user creates a cocoon around themselves, usually for concealment or protection. The cocoon is waterproof. Useful within forests, this spell provides the user with everything they need bodily-wise for extended surveillance. Is usable as a containment cell for prisoners, although it can be broken fairly easily from the outside.

Spying Insect

Description: By linking themselves to an insect, the user is able to see and hear what it experiences, providing a long-range, relatively safe and inconspicuous way to gather information. The user is also able to tell when the bug had been killed. It has a maximum range of five [5] kilometers per experience rank. The user must be mindful of the lifespan of the dispatched insect, and the technique ends automatically when it dies.
• Requires only one [1] insect.

Gathering Swarm

Description: The user unleashes a web of their mana that draws insects toward their location. This makes it great for gathering information from them or adding new scouts to your army. Very good for calling the "Destruction Bugs" to come back from an attack too.

Insect Clone Technique

Description: Using the insects living in their body, the host uses the bugs to form a clone of themselves to trick their opponent. Once damaged by an attack, the spell ends and the clone disperses back into the insects which formed it. By spending another D-rank worth of mana, the clone can reform itself again and again, until all of the insects being used die or are killed. The clone is considered physical and can therefore make physical attacks. If the clone-insects return to the host, it can share all it has learned.
• Requires [100] insects.

Signal Jamming

Description: The user has a large amount of their insects spread out over a wide area around. The insects then emit a small amount of the their host's respective mana that they usually feed on. This confuses all forms of mana sensing abilities, as the insects' irregular distribution and grouping together result in the creation of numerous false 'images' or mana signals, which in turn makes it more difficult to distinguish the user's actual location.
• Requires at least [100] insects.

Insect Wall

Description: Using the insects living in their body, the host calls forth a reasonable amount of the bugs to form a thick wall. The size of this wall is only limited to the number of insects the user chooses to call forth at that time. This is a very useful and powerful defensive spell. The cost of this spell does not change, but the number insects that can be used does. For every hundred insects used, the wall can block another rank of attack (i.e. [100] to block E-rank, [600] to block S-rank. The insects are, more often than not, destroyed in blocking the attack. Piercing and fire attacks will usually blow straight through the wall.
• Requires a minimum of [100] insects.

Insect Cocoon

Description: This unique spell allows the user to increase the speed of insects' development. As the user's body is already a hive of sorts for the insects, the user will encase themselves in an actual cocoon to further aid the insects. This is an extremely useful move for Hiveborn, since their attacks mainly focus on the usage of bugs. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. With this spell the user can replenish their little army in almost no time by doubling the Hiveborn's regeneration rate and produced new insects per post of usage, up to the user's maximum. No other spells may be used during its duration. Blocks all sight. Insects produced in this manner cannot be dispersed until the cocoon is released.

Insect Jar

Description: This spell uses the insects living in the user's body as a shield by having them fly in a dome shape at high speed. The dome is strong enough to destroy incoming attacks, but can be disrupted with sufficient explosive force. Can block attacks up to one [1] rank higher.

Spindle Formation
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C
Description: The user has their bugs attack the target in a spiraling motion in order to stop the enemy from retaliating. This spell creates a funnel shaped vortex shooting out forward, the insects will continue to harass the opponent until something causes them to disperse. This spell absorbs a D-rank amount of mana from the opponent per post as long as it is sustained. Requires a spiraling motion with one hand to maintain, and an upkeep equal to the original cost.
• Requires [500] insects.

Kikaichū no Jutsu [ Destruction Bug Host Technique ]

Official Description: The Destruction Bug Host Technique is a practice exclusive to the Aburame clan. When children are born into the clan, their bodies are offered to insects to be used as a nest. Over the years, as the child grows up, they are instructed in the hiden jutsu of the clan, and learn how the insects may serve them in combat. The jutsu is fairly basic and grows with the user as they rank up so does this jutsu.
Guild Description: This jutsu never needs to be 'used' after learning, as the regeneration of insects is caused through natural healing (using the chakra regeneration guideline stats) or through chakra absorption. At Genin, this provides 2,000 insects, and gains again for every major body rank thereafter. (Chuunin = 4k, Jounin = 8k, Konin = 12k, Sannin = 16k, S+ = 20k) Taking a special title and/or [Job]--Botany, Hazards, Medical Field--provides an additional 2k insects each for a maximum production rate of another 6k.
•Note: There is no limit to how many insects can be produced and controlled only how many can be contained at one time in either a gourd or body. (i.e A Genin can only hold 2000 insects but can release as many as he or she wants to be used seeing as the regeneration rate allows this to be possible, since regeneration is natural and does not consume chakra this allegedly allows an Aburame to patiently keep producing insects for their arsenal.)

Kikaichū Breeds
Breeds are associated with a direct Body Rank, reflected by the corresponding letter rank. (These Breeds 'Unlock' upon achieving said body rank and learned inherently with the exceptions of Kidaichu and Rinkaichu.)

►Kikaichū:
Rank: E
Standard Aburame clan insect. Are able to have their functions adjusted due to absurdly quick breeding cycles. Please refer to the DNA Guide for further instructions.

►Shōkaichū:
Rank: E
Official Description: Shōkaichū are underdeveloped Kikaichu typically with the appearance of maggots. Shōkaichū can bury below the earth and because they are not as complex as their adult counterparts can be communed with easily to send back signals of movement and chakra signatures back to their host. Shōkaichū cannot be used with other Aburame insect techniques aside from sensory and supplementary techniques. Since they are less developed than adults they die at a much faster pace. Dispatched Shōkaichū die after [3] posts.
Requisites: Shōkaichū are not necessary for any Aburame techniques.

►Bakuretsuchū
Rank: B
Official Description: Bakuretsuchū are Kikaichu that are fed unstable amounts of chakra. A Kikaichu becomes a Bakuretsuchū when it's born for the sole purpose of invading a target to inevitably explode. An Aburame that houses Bakuretsuchū are to be extremely careful if their chakra falls below 1/10th it's maximum amount any currently stored Bakuretsuchū will explode inside of them. It's because of this most Aburame choose to store only a few Bakuretsuchū at any given time. They are treated as Kikaichu for the purpose and use of Insect techniques.
Requisites: Bakuretsuchū are required for the Aburame technique Bakuretsuchū [ Exploding Insect Technique ]

►Kidaichū
Rank: A
Official Description: Kidaichū are a special breed of Kikaichu that are made from the host continuously force feeding chakra to their Kikaichu until they've grown used to this amount. A Kikaichu is classified as a Kidaichū when it grows in size. In Canon Shino expresses how dangerous it is to harbor Kidaichū as in an instant if given the chance they would devour him flesh and all. Kidaichū are an optional breed of Kikaichu. They're so overpowering they will take over the host's entire populace of Kikaichu. In their diminutive state Kidaichū are treated as Kikaichu for the use of insect techniques. However, if a hosts Chakra ever reaches below 1/10ths they will be devoured in whole. There is no going back if you Breed Kidaichū in exchange for this power the host gains access to one of the Aburame's most powerful techniques. The host can send out Kidaichū to function as allies but their size and having to control their bloodthirsty tendencies only allows up to a maximum of three at one time to be active.
Requisites: Kidaichū are required for the technique [Kidaichū Mushikui [ Parasitic Giant Insect Bug Bite ]

►Rinkaichū
Rank: S
Official Description: Rinkaichū are a frobidden insect among the Aburame. They a nano-sized poisonous insects almost comparative to a flesh eating virus. Rinkaichū cannot be bred normally one must first consult the head of the Aburame clan and after being given the trust of the head, the head will perform the [Destruction Bug Host] technique once more. Replacing all of the hosts insects with Rinkaichū.These members then carry the microscopic size poisonous bugs through their body which they can pass on to others through skin contact. Upon infecting their target, the cells attacked by the bugs in that area will be destroyed and cause great pain to the victim. The clan members who use the breed also possess the necessary antibodies to heal their victims. Should a comrade become infected, they can touch the damaged area and remove the poisonous bugs. Because the bugs spread through skin contact, the Clan members can remove clothing and disperse the bugs throughout their body, greatly increasing the surface area for possible infection. Rinkaichū for the purpose of using any insect techniques that don't directly reference them take -1 rank penalty. Since Rinkaichū are not in truth real Kikaichu they cannot evolve and be classified as Bakuretsuchū or Kidaichū for the use of their corresponding techniques.
Guild Description: See official description. Possibility of infection stays active until the end of the fight and is signaled through the skin becoming purple.

Kikaichū Fūin [ Destruction Bug Host Contract Seal ]

Official Description: The Kikaichū, like other non-tamed species, will defend its territory without question. Without making a contract, an Aburame is usually subject utterly to the whims and wills of its insects. In order to facilitate good relations, the Aburame had to both create its Host technique, and an applicable Contract Seal.
Guild Description: In exchange for a permanently lowered chakra or stamina cap, the Aburame is able to utilize its specific insect's techniques for free (i.e. no chakra/stamina usage) up to the amount lowered by, relying solely upon the insects to do the work. If all of one's specific species of insects are destroyed, the contract is considered nulled, and must be resigned. (lowered caps are not raised in this case) If the contract is nulled willfully by the signer while the insects still live, the cap may be raised accordingly. Contracted insects of said species must live within the host's body, as opposed to an external hive.
Contract Example: In exchange to the Kikaichū for a permanently lowered stamina cap of 1 D-rank's worth, a shinobi is able to send out maximally D-rank insect techniques without paying for them.

Kikaichū Drill (Destruction Bug Drill)
Rank: B [ 2k Insects per spear ]
Official Description: The Aburame Clan member summons forth thousands of destruction bugs to combine into two spear-like forms that spiral towards the enemy and carry them into the air, where they brutally feast upon their chakra, before dropping them into the ground.
Guild Description: Is compatible with Mushiyose. 1 spear usage is allowable for half chakra cost. This technique requires quite bit of focus, disabling other non-Aburame Clan jutsu usage during the post used.


Hijutsu: Mushidama (Secret Technique: Insect Sphere)
Rank: A [ 4k Insects ]
Official Description: By using the destruction bugs, members of the Aburame clan surround their opponent with thousands of bugs, making a globe of bugs around the opponent beforehand to completely trap them. Once trapped, the bugs would normally drain the chakra and swallow their victim in a torrent of pain. The bugs covering the victim's body prevent movement, but if they escape, the bugs will follow them. Instead Drains the full ranks worth of chakra upon success.
Guild Description: Is compatible with Mushiyose.


Hijutsu: Mushitatsumaki [ Secret Technique: Insect Tornado ]
Rank: A [ 5k Insects ]
Official Description: This technique covers the enemy's entire body with the kikaichū living inside the Aburame clan member's body. The chakra-sensing kikaichū spread over a wide range, and the moment they locate the enemy, the insects, following the user's orders, gather at once completely surrounding the target creating a fast-moving tornado that will seemingly disintegrate the target.
Guild Description: Is compatible with Mushiyose. Speed is comparable to a Jounin. Don't forget about the external time limits!


Bakuretsuchū [ Exploding Insect Technique ]

Official Description: The user blinds the enemy with a smokescreen to scatter larvae that if inhaled, will grow inside their bodies into a spider-like parasite that explodes, killing their host. The insect's growth depends on how much chakra the host is using and a massive amount of chakra can speed up the growth process. The insect can however be removed by the means of eiseijutsu surgery.
Guild Description: Use of up to a B-ranked amount of chakra or higher will produce a [Critical Warning]. Where the body is wracked with pain and the flesh looks ready to burst. Any chakra technique used thereafter (or 2 days without medical treatment) will result in death by explosion.


Kidaichū Mushikui [ Parasitic Giant Insect Bug Bite ]
Rank: S [ 10k Insects ]
Official Description: Following an Aburame clan member placing a number of insects onto the skin of an enemy, these insects immediately burrow into the victim's body and begin to devour its flesh and chakra. This process causes the insects to grow rapidly in size, until the host body is completely eaten away from the inside out.
Guild Description: Unlike a 1 use strike, these bugs slowly deposit over a number of hits, making multiple foes subdued a possible actuality. Lasts 10 posts or 10 strikes, whichever occurs first. (1,000 bugs per strike) Requires a physical strike to transfer. Unused bugs will automatically return to the owner. Ice Manipulation
Description: The act of combining wind and water mana in order to generate water-composed ice, and then manipulate it freely. This method can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air. This ability also allows the user to meld dormant ice as though it were clay. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be levitated or shifted around as if it were water. They act as an A-rank spell, but do not follow the user's will during detonation, which can lead to self-impalement if used improperly.

Hiding in Frost

Description: The user performs a single seal or motion, holds a piece of ice with the opposite, and melds it. Anywhere from three [3] to five [5] basic, non-mechanical tools can be created per usage.

Cold Sky

Description: The user shoots numerous amount of extremely large darts of ice from their mouth at high speeds which can easily chip rock. Produces up to ten [10] darts per use.

Ice Prison

Description: The user traps their opponent within ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in it. It is strong enough to withstand physical attacks up to one [1] rank higher than it. The user may also encase themselves with ice as a defensive spell.

Swallow Ice Storm

Description: The user will hold out their palm, creating a cluster of ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows, which the user then throws at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings, so long as the user maintains the final seal. Unfortunately, because of their fragile size, they are easily blocked. However, the user can continually create more. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain past the first post, or full cost if creating more.

Certain-Kill Ice Spears

The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered. Haku used this technique when he defended himself from his father when he attempted to kill him because of his kekkei genkai. Formerly known as the Hi Kasui no Jutsu [ Ice Spike Technique ]: After performing the needed handsigns, the user causes thirty [30] foot tall spikes of ice to emerge from the ground in a ten [10] yard radius of their choosing. The spikes raise at a good speed, but are not reliable in an open area, or on unhindered targets.


Hyōton: Hi Bouheki [ Ice Release: Protective Ice Dome ]

The user will stretch both arms forward, their palms open, and force water and wind to meld into a medium sized dome of durable ice around himself and his allies. The ice formed this way is extremely strong, and even constant barrage by explosive tags is proven useless. It should be noted that the user must hold both arms out in order to maintain the technique.


Kanki Kyouka no Michi [ Frost Reinforce Method ]

The user will surge additional chakra into one of their techniques- during or after formation-creating an interlaced coating on its frame, and throughout key structure points. By applying this coat, most techniques that would typically melt, shatter, or pierce the user's ice, are found worthless.
( Rather than costing [80] chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional [20] chakra. )


Makyō Hyōshō [ Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals ]

The abominable and tremendous ability, passed down only within the Yuki clan. It is a technique wrapped up in many mysteries. It was said that no method in existence can defeat this technique. In an instant, multiple mirrors of ice are created around the enemy, reflecting nothing but Haku. The opponent is trapped in a dome of twenty-one floating mirrors made out of ice. Twelve remain at ground level, eight float above the first twelve and angled towards the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. Once Haku has entered the mirrors, it's possible for him to move between the mirrors at the speed of light. It's near impossible to follow attacks sent out from this incredible movement. As every mirror shows his reflection, one could say it's impossible to see all of Haku's attacks. Even if the opponent tries to attack the real body, Haku will have already moved to another mirror. Without eyes like the Sharingan, it will be impossible to keep track of him. If the mirror Haku is in is broken, he can leap out of one of the fragments and continue his attack or move to another mirror. The technique requires a large amount of chakra to maintain, so Haku's movement becomes progressively slower the longer he maintains the mirrors. Haku can also form individual mirrors, not restricted to the twenty-one-mirror formation. He can create them high in the sky allowing him to take out airborne targets. The cold which emanates from the mirrors is also enough to cause snow to fall. Though they are made from ice, the mirrors are resistant to Fire Release techniques.
Guild Description: Forming single mirrors instead of the full technique requires only an E-rank amount of chakra. Each mirror in the full technique will break under an S-ranked attack, but singly formed mirrors are susceptible to only D-ranks. Movement between mirrors is considered as fast as Shunshin no Jutsu.

Ink Creation
Description: An Inkborn can only control ink that has been infused with their mana. Infusing the ink is a fairly simple process that requires a few drops of blood--approximately one drop per rank of ink being infused. If time is taken to infuse the ink (one [1] full post), there is no actual mana cost. However, if it needs to be done quickly, a cost can be paid for the infusion to be completed in one activation. The amount of ink infused mimics the scaling of Ink Manipulation.

Ink Conversion
Description: By injecting mana into a water source through a small amount of blood, the user can convert the water into ink. The amount of ink created is determined by the rank of mana used, and mimics the scaling of Ink Manipulation. They can then use Ink Manipulation to pull the liquid into a container, or for any other spell.

Ink Projectiles
Rank: X | Strength: X | Speed: X
Description: Using this spell the user can create an almost infinite number of projectiles to hurl at their opponent, or to counter any thrown object. As the projectiles come in contact with something harder than them, which is pretty much anything other than skin, they break down into a sticky black goo that causes any flying object to lose it's aerodynamic properties and fall from the sky. The more projectiles there are the smaller and weaker each individual projectile is, always amounting to the Strength of this spell.

Ink Clone
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C
Description: This clone, made from a small amount of ink, carrying mana, is different from an ordinary clone in that it has actual substance and mass, giving it a physical form. The user is able to make use of the clone for physical actions, such as attacking or defending. Clones are able to use ink spells that the user knows, but cannot use any other form of spell. Clones maintain any properties the ink carries. Upon being destroyed dissolve into a sticky mass. An attack of equal rank or higher can destroy the clones.

Ink Mist
Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: --
Description: The user wraps their body in mana-infused ink to hide themselves creating an effective smokescreen. When used in combination with the Flicker spell, the user can quickly leave the battlefield without being noticed. The smokescreen fills up approximately a ten [10] foot diameter for up to two [2] posts. During the first post, the user may perform Flicker for no additional cost or activation. This method counts toward the three use limit that all Flicker techniques share.

Ink Transport

Description: The user writes "teleport" on a piece of paper or a surface using mana-infused ink. By then paying a small amount of mana, the user can teleport back to the location of the message from any distance. They are unable to take another living creature with them, but are able to take any gear or non-living items. There is no limit on the number a person can have--the user transports there simply by thinking of the location--but it must be rewritten after use. Likewise, it acts as a seal and can be destroyed if tampered with.

Beast Imitation

Description: The ultimate display of the user's creative ability, the Beast Imitation spell can be used to create just about anything, although it gets its name from frequently being used to create animals and other creatures. Using mana-infused ink, the user can draw objects or creatures. The moment a minimal amount of mana [5] is used on the images, they leap from the surface they were drawn on, grow to life size, and act according to the user's will. Because they are made of ink, a single blow is usually enough to dispel then. The complexity of this spell extends to being able to deliver a message discreetly in animal form, where it then converts back to a message upon reaching the desired destination. Few other spells rival it in terms of versatility. Creations are unable to cast spells themselves, but can make physical attacks and interact with objects in the world.


Sumi Tama no Jutsu [ Ink Ball Technique ]

Official Description: Guzzling their current ink well in its entirety, the user will swish it around in the mouth before spitting a large, dark ink orb towards their target. Targets in the path of the orb that become inked suddenly become highly sticky and heavy. Anything that touches the affected areas will become permanently stuck to them for 3 posts, while the targets feel as if they are carrying around their entire body weight. (not including anything that sticks to them)

Sumi Ame no Jutsu [ Ink Rain Technique ]

Official Description: The user will throw their entire current ink well into the air, forming a large black cloud. After a single post, the cloud will begin to rain down ink. This ink's weight will be very heavy or very light depending on how much Chakra was added into the Technique. Very light = the base chakra cost for the technique. Very Heavy = double the base chakra cost for the technique.

Sumi Nagashi [ Ink Flush ]

Official Description: By directly pouring out his ink instead of using it to draw, Sai can create a large amount of creatures such as a nest of snakes to attack the target. Should the opponent prove strong enough to break the binds if restrained, they can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.
Guild Description: This jutsu strengthens the bonds around the ink creations, negating the natural water weakness while lowering the Suiton weakness to B-ranks. Requires a water source to pour into and create. The creatures are considered as simple--lacking much power--but with more numbers than can be handled through use of drawing upon paper.

Kuchiyose: Ink Shield [ Summoning: Ink Shield ]

Official Description: This technique allows the user to summon forth a shield from their scroll to block physical and element attacks. If the user draws a sword as if it were a crest, overlaying two swords, then it will block a physical attack up to a rank lower than the shield, and any normal strikes. If they draw the shield engulfed in flames then it will block a fire jutsu up to one rank lower than it, and so forth and so on. This applies to any element that the user can think up something to draw. It can only block projectile attacks or regular physical strikes however, meaning that it can not disrupt the formation or use of things such as the Hyouton Ice Mirrors. Retains its Suiton and water weakness.

Kuchiyose: Painted Sky [ Summoning: Painted Sky ]

Official Description: This jutsu allows a member of the Ukiyo Gisei Clan to literally control their environment. By drawing a detailed environment onto their scroll, the clan member can summon it forth and transform the environment around him into that of the scroll. Anything he draws will occur, but it will all be made out of ink. If the user calls forth lightning, it will strike, but it can not shock, and so forth an so on. The technique is best described as a physical Genjutsu, because it is very much real but resembles something one might find in a Genjutsu technique. This technique only effects what is on the scroll, but is hard to escape because it includes the clouds and sky that are visible from where the clan member is. If someone were to try and escape they would simply run into a seemingly invisible cylindrical wall of sticky ink. This move can be maintained until the scroll runs out of area or the user runs out of chakra.

Fūinjutsu: Koshi Tandan [ Sealing Technique: Tiger Vision Staring Bullet ]

Official Description: After the user draws a gigantic tiger, the illustration extends from the scroll and while still connected, captures its prey with its teeth and claws, before dragging the victim back into the scroll and pinning them down within the confines of the drawing. Due to the enormity of the illustration, the user requires an extended period of time to complete the image, during which they need protection as their attention is devoted to drawing. In the anime, Danzō noted that to make this technique stronger, Sai would have to make use of his emotions. If the user is consumed by negative emotions, their eyes turn black, their pupils will turn red, and they will secrete a dark substance from their eyes and mouth. Because of his training in Root, this was initially impossible for Sai to control but later, after seeing Rock Lee's determination to protect his comrades and remembering his time with Team Kakashi he was able to.
Guild Description: It requires 3 full posts of concentration, during which the user's background history consumes them. Overcoming it with positive emotions allows the jutsu to gain the same speed as the user. Targets pinned inside of the paper can be retrieved at a later date.

Description: The user creates a short tube with lava converted into a rubber-like material which can be used to guard against enemy's attacks. Can defend from physical attacks up to one [1] rank higher, and deflect elemental attacks up to the same rank back at the opponent.

Rubber Ball

Description: The user expels a large glob of lava from their mouth, which quickly solidifies into a hollow ball that can be used to protect an object by surrounding it with the durable rubber-like material. The properties of this substance mean that it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow when struck, resulting in it either deforming or bouncing upon impact. Can defend from attacks up to one [1] rank higher.

Lava Globs

Description: The user releases several globs of lava of various sizes at the target. The technique can also be manipulated to block doors and narrow exits using the hardening process of lava to prevent a target from escaping. Can cause third-degree burns on contact with bare skin. Lasts two [2] posts before the lava cools.

Yōton: Kaibun no Yuki [ Lava Release: Ashen Cement Snow ]

Official Description: This is a Ninjutsu that blurs the target and the user's vision whilst causing a choking reaction, and cakes the ground with even more in a 20 meter radius. This can make the user/target feel as if they are getting weighted down if they don't break out of the immediate area somehow. 3 posts until cement hardens.


Yōton: Seishikidou [ Lava Release: Cement Ring Orbit ]

Official Description: A stationary orbiting technique that is used to protect the user. Liquid cement flies up from the ground and floats around the user. If the opponent attacks the cement, they will become stuck within it while it hardens. Over time the cement will harden and become rock, and fall to the ground with whatever is stuck within it. 3 posts until the cement hardens.


Yōton: Daichi Atatameru [ Lava Release: Ground Warming ]

Official Description: The user can heat the ground to the heat of ~150 degrees within a 20 meter radius. This can easily melt shoes and fuse them with the ground to make the target bound to the ground, or make objects easier to enflame. 5 posts until the ground cools.


Yōton: Yōkai no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique ]

Official Description: The user releases a large amount of lava from their mouth, which spreads into a broad, thin sheet as it travels through the air. Since the lava is shot upwards in an arc, so as to descend onto the targets from above, it prevents the intended individuals from jumping up to avoid the attack. A great deal of steam is created afterwards by the effects of the lava, so should the targets still be alive, a follow-up attack can be conducted while their vision remains obscured. Good for a 10 meter square sheet. 1 post until it cools.


Yōton: Sekkaigyō no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique ]

Official Description: The user expels a large quantity of quicklime from their mouth, which is capable of inflicting damage to an opponent. This ability can also be manipulated in order to restrict the intended target's movements, as after the initial blast the remnants of the substance can act in a similar manner to quick-drying cement. However, the technique requires the subsequent addition of water to set off the necessary reaction to make the substance harden. This can be easily achieved through the subsequent use of a water release technique, which can also serve to increase the area covered by the substance, thus further increasing the potential range of the technique. As a water release technique is needed to harden it, a secondary teammate is usually the preferred choice. 5 posts until it hardens.


Yōton: Cement Bunshin no Jutsu [ Lava Release: Cement Clone Technique ]

Official Description: A technique where a heavy, slow clone is created out of lava, in which it can fire off a drooping stream of fresh liquidy cement from its arms not to exceed the volume of the clone. 2 posts until cement hardens.

Official Description: Can use parts of the user's flesh to turn into small bits of lava, starting with the skin. Great for suprise attacks, as a single flick can cast off a superheated fingertip. Caution: Can't use forever... you lose flesh by using this! Lava cools after 1 post.


Yōton: Gomuheki [ Lava Release: Rubber Wall ]

Official Description: The user creates an enormous torrent of lava from the ground directly in front of them, which then forms into a wall possessing immense durability due to its rubbery consistency that allows the material to deform when attacked, meaning it can both absorb and dissipate the force behind a blow rather than just simply obstruct it. This technique can also be used to provide reinforcement to a pre-existing barrier. Raiton techniques B-ranked & above may penetrate the defenses.


Yōton: Yō Hitoya [ Lava Release: Lava Prison ]

Official Description: The user performs various hand seals as they charge Chakra deep into the ground. Finishing with pressing the palms of the hands against the ground, fresh lava erupts from the ground as it surges, creating a large dome either around just the opponent or both the opponent and the user. Within the prison is it very hot until the lava cools, causing the ceiling to drip before it solidifies. (3 posts) When the lava cools it is very difficult to break, and is almost an inescapable prison, requiring an S-ranked attack to break out from. Usable once per battle, due to the stress upon the earth.

Official Description: Extending one's mana into their rust flakes, and through a held object, weapon, etc, one can lace the insides of the grasped object with rust. This act weakens the object to such a state that it acts like rubber as the flakes peel away from it. This destroys the object over time (three [3] posts) but the weapon cannot be broken through durability damage or other means. Likewise, weapons this item comes in contact with take double durability damage from the harsh surface.

Exploding Rust Clone
Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: D
Description: A simple clone made from rust flakes blown into the wind. This clone is physical and can therefore attack. It is also able use Ruse Manipulation. It can be destroyed by a solid hit, whereupon it will detonate, filling a surrounding ten [10] meter radius with an obscuring cloud of rust that eats away at any metal it touches at a rate of three [3] durability per post. This cloud lasts for three [3] posts.

Dark Blue Ground

Description: The user begins learning with a way to cover a fundamental flaw in a weapon user's combat and the natural conductivity of a weapon of steel. Utilizing some of the metal they keep on their person, they coat their blade with an obviously dark blue layer of rust that increases the length of the weapon considerably. Not only does it cause triple durability damage to metal it comes in contact with, it is composed to reduce the effectiveness of lightning spells by one [1] rank, acting as a lightning rod to draw the spells to it. This coating lasts for three [3] posts before it must be reapplied.

Description: A Rustborn's abilities run through their blood, and therefore their blood is incredibly corrosive to metal it comes in contact with. They can drop several drops of their blood onto a weapon or armor, dramatically oxidizing the steel, dulling the edges, and reducing the objects capabilities greatly. Not only is the weapon or armor reduced in durability by half, any physical attacks made by the weapon until it is repaired are considered one [1] rank weaker in strength, and an armor's defensive bonus is dropped by one [1] rank.

Rust Dragon's Roar

Description: The user released flakes of rust into an area that then seek out and begin to convert metal they find into rust. This effect lasts for four [4] posts and covers an area of up to three hundred [300] meters. After four [4] posts, the user will be able to gather an S-rank Rust Manipulation worth of rust flakes.

Danzetsu [ Break Off ]
Rank: B
Official Description: Utilizing excess metals, the user will settle a brittle coating upon their weapon. When met with resistance, it triggers a visual Henge, making it appear as if the weapon has broken. In addition, contact with the object by anything other than the user will 'break off' pieces of the brittle coating, typically causing rough coughing to those that breathe it in, the user included.
Guild Description: Lasts for 10 posts. Use of 1 weapon's worth of high quality rust flakes will allow for the affected object to take on the visual properties of a legendary weapon. (though in a rusty, broken state)


Sentan Kidō [ Spearhead Railroad Tracks ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user makes use of a trail of metals--usually steel wire due to costly trails of iron lumps being so pricey--in which the user will rust the line. Rusting the entire length, with a secondary purpose, these flakes will congregate at fixed points and spear upward in an attempt to skewer the foe.
Guild Description: Use of 1 weapon's worth of high quality rust flakes will allow for the affected objects to sprout smaller spears from the main spears, and even smaller spears from those, causing a sort of massively spiked tree to emit instead of the normal spear.


Matsuru [ Deify ]
Rank: A
Official Description: The user builds upon the basis that the Rokushō established for enhancing their own blade. A new corrosive coating is placed upon their held object, augmenting it with a known Doton or Fuuton technique. Any strike to the object, or with the object, will set off the held technique as the object instantly implodes from massive rusting.
Guild Description: Doton/Fuuton added to the blade requires their chakra costs and prerequisites. Lasts for 3 posts or the condition set above.


Shiage [ Finishing Touch ]
Rank: A
Official Description: Catching the enemy's weapon with their own, the user pumps their chakra into the enemy's weapon, embedding into it the accelerated rate of oxidization. Over the next several posts (2), the weapon begins to corrode and break away. Often an unused tactic, due to the user's need to put themselves in harm's way.
Guild Description: Does not affect custom weapons, but does affect metallic weapons with B-rank or less chakra within them.


Chacha [ Disruption ]
Rank: S
Official Description: The user makes use of all the metals within their touch. Steel wire, kunai, shuriken. Anything they can, to create a large quantity of the low quality rust flakes, as they are whipped up in a frenzy, creating a dust storm of sorts. Counter attack is difficult, however, for the visibility is greatly reduced. High quality rust flakes may be added to cause external effects as well.
Guild Description: This sacrifices all of the user's worn or held metal, to produce a low quality but high amount of, rust flakes. Ingested flakes will cause choking, internal lacerations, and general suffocation. Long lasting effects (if they survive breathing this stuff in), requires a tetanus shot. The external effects from using at least 1 object's worth of high quality rust flakes includes a scintillating, strobe light effect from reflecting available light sources.


Kōsotsu [ Armored Warrior ]
Rank: S+
Official Description: Gathering their arms, much like with the technique Chacha, the user gathers their chakra and releases a massive wave of corrosive rust flakes onto steel within the area. Rather than summon up "dust storms", the user draws the materials near to their flesh, creating a material wall between themselves and the enemy. The user may utilize the shavings of rust to form weapons of surprising durability and impress various bloodline abilities on a higher scale during the time in which this is active.
Guild Description: This jutsu, once activated, cannot be deactivated until the chakra cost would otherwise kill the user. In addition to being able to move the affected objects around at will, all other clan jutsu are able to be cast at two less ranks in chakra. Movement speed of affected objects is of Konin. Affected area is of 30 meters. Requires 5 rusted objects worth of high quality flakes.

Scorch Manipulation
Description: This control allows the Scorch user to create weak orbs of scorching heat that can cause burns and trigger the dehydration process when in very close proximity, depending on the rank. While the shape cannot be bent far beyond an orb of condensed heat, it can be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate scorch objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any scorch orbs that are being freely manipulated are very weak, and can be broken or blown away as if they were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

The amount of mana used in this technique is directly reflective of the incoming attack. Meaning a water spell which costs [40] mana to form is intercepted by this technique worth [40] mana, and so on and so forth.

Heat Haze

Description: This spell puts the user into a specific mana 'mode', enabling them to affect their own Fire spells. This stacks each time the opponent is hit with an affected spell. This ability is an augment of a spell, and does not take an activation to use, instead only paying cost one [1] rank lower than the fire spell to imbue it.

Description: This technique imbues a nearby metallic object with a great amount of heat. It's is only strong enough to cause first-degree burns, but the object in question will become too hot to be touched by anyone aside from the scorch user for one [1] post. Requires line of sight, and is limited to objects within three [3] meters.

Dehydrated Clone

Description: A physical clone on a timer. These clones are created with the sole purpose of performing kamikaze style attacks. They will charge their target in order to catch it in a predetermined dehydrating wind-blast. The power of the "explosion" is roughly that of a standard explosive note, but the winds that follow are capable of causing stage one of Dehydration and first-degree burns. The clone will self-detonate after two [2] posts, or can be triggered early for an additional full cost of the technique.

Description: A simple technique that coats one's hands with mana. If the user successfully makes contact, the location hit will be burned, suffering second-degree burns. Can be maintained for an upkeep of half the original cost.

Fire Needle

Description: A technique that produces six [6] opaque red needles in front of the user, which are capable of deflecting light projectiles. The user may also launch the needles in a simple attack pattern, causing small dehydration to contacted areas. If at least two [2] hit, the opponent will experience stage one Dehydration.

Ten Fiery Eyes

Description: The user performs a single seal and generates ten [10] small fist-sized fireballs which hover around a designated area. These fireballs are capable of causing significant burns and dehydration to their target, though they are somewhat slow in comparison to most ninja techniques. A hit from one of these fireballs causes stage one Dehydration at the point of contact.

Kyoujouki no Hitoya [Extreme Steam Prison]

Description: The user performs the required casting and raises various tall, thin pillars of scorch mana from the ground which converge to form a prison or cage like construct. Anything that comes into contact with the pillars is almost instantly dehydrated, causing stage one Dehydration at the point of contact.

Sabakuhi [Desert Sun]

Description: This technique generates a palm sized sphere of Shakuton chakra which can be launched into the sky in order to create a false sun, of the same color as its user's chakra color. The false sun will cast out sunbeams which slowly dry up everything in the area. If used during the night, the fake sun may disturb the circadian rhythm in living creatures. Starts the process of Dehydration to all in the afflicted area, unless otherwise protected.

Kajōsatsu [Extreme Steam Killing]

Description: The user performs the appropriate handsigns, and generates four [4] powerful fireballs which hover around an allotted area. These fireballs are capable of utterly dehydrating those that come into contact with them. This technique trades power for elemental immunity, thusly becoming weak to Suiton techniques of the same rank. Causes stage two Dehydration upon contact, as well as severe burns.


Nichinaishuuki [Diurnal Cycle]

Description: After performing the needed handsigns, three false suns [roughly 3 yard diameter] are generated and rotate around the user. These suns typically keep away attackers while their rotation forces a moderately dehydrating radial wind. Shōkyaku Eikōdan no Jutsu [Incinerating Flare Technique]

Description: The user combines several of their flaming orbs to create a single massive one, which then violently explodes with enough force and power to incinerate a large area around it. When this happens, steam can be seen emitting from the area. Requires 'Kajousatsu [Extreme Steam Killing]' to be activated first. Retains the required jutsu's Suiton weakness. Indirect contact, within five [5] meters of the explosion causes stage two Dehydration, and anyone within an additional ten [10] meters is affected by stage one Dehydration.

These limbs can be used to cast spells, carry objects, and attack, but can be dispelled by a bright flash of light. An upkeep of half the original cost can be spent to maintain the spell.

Shadow Trick

Description: The user will manipulate a shadow in such a way as to hide the true appearance of an obstacle or person. This is done by forming patches over holes, or masks over faces. With additional manipulation, the shadow can be made ever more deceptive. This is considered an imitation technique, and as such cannot do physical actions.

Shadow Blade

Description: The user will gather their own shadow into their hand in order to create a false weapon. Whence formed, the focused shadow can be extended or retracted depending on the amount of available darkness. The weapon is not quite as sharp as an average sword, but can still cut. However, the weapon, like most of the Shadowborn spells can be dispelled with a bright flash of light. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain.

Wave of the Crescent Moon

Description: The user presses their hand against a shadow, not necessarily their own, and then pushes it forward. The shadow will rise up roughly six feet, making it appear to be a tall, thin black ocean wave, and swiftly travel across whatever surface it originated from,traveling up to ten [10] meters. Rather than possessing impact and pushing power, the black wave has an incredible amount of cutting potential, slicing through trees like butter.

Shadow Neck Binding Technique
Rank: C | Strength: Variable | Speed: --
Description: Meant to be used in combination with the Shadow Imitation, this spell is used to make fine manipulations of the shadow holding the opponent. Using it, it is possible to inflict direct damage to the enemy by transforming and moving shadows endowed with physical power. It is possible to attack body parts like fingers and such by manipulating the shadow to bind the opponent's body in order to restrain them. It was given its name because, above all else, strangulation is the most efficient method. The smaller the distance to the target, the greater the power of the shadow. Withing three [3] meters of the user, an A-rank amount of mana or stamina must be paid to break free. Between three [3] and [5] meters, a B-rank amount of mana or stamina must be paid, and anything beyond [5] meters only takes a C-rank amount. Depending on the person being held, an opponent will likely pass out after about three [3] posts of strangulation.

Shadow Imitation
Rank: C | Strength: Variable | Speed: C
Description: The Shadow Imitation spell allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) and as far as they want, assuming the light source producing the shadow is strong enough. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. Insufficient lighting will make the technique less effective. A particularly strong opponent can also resist the shadow's forced imitation, breaking free by expending an A-rank amount of mana or stamina. After two [2] posts, the cost drops to B-rank, and drops another rank per two [2] posts following. Splitting the shadow between multiple opponents reduces the cost of breaking free by one [1] rank per additional split. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain.

Kagemane Shuriken no Jutsu [ Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique ]
Rank: B
Official Description: Shikamaru invented this technique while teaching himself to use Asuma Sarutobi's trench knives. By infusing the blades with his own chakra beforehand, they are given the effect of his shadow techniques. By using these weapons to pierce the enemies' shadows, they are paralyzed in place. To pierce the shadow, it is necessary to avoid the target just barely — Shikamaru added fake explosive tags when he used them against Kakuzu and Hidan to help with that. Since it is more difficult for the enemy to notice it, this ninjutsu compensates for the weak point of the similar Shadow Imitation Technique, being its limited effective range. It is unknown for how long this jutsu can keep its targets paralyzed, however it can be disrupted simply by the removal of the blade or by the disappearance of the opponent's shadow.
Guild Description: Easily broken if used on the same opponent more than two [2] times in a fight, requiring only a B-rank amount of chakra to break free. For the first two times it requires an S-rank to break out from, and only after the first complete post of being trapped.


Kage Nui no Jutsu [ Shadow Sewing Technique ]
Rank: B
Official Description: The user changes the shape of their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each separately. They can then attack, like rising spikes, several targets simultaneously and at the same time snatch away their ability to move by sewing them stuck with the shadow threads. Because it is a physical attack, it is impossible to capture someone without harming them, but on the other hand, since the speed of invocation and the time of duration are excellent, it can be used when urgent restraint is required. This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.
Guild Description: Retains its Kage Nui no Jutsu abilities if transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique, with a simple E-rank cost.


Kageton: Kage no Gugen [ Shadow Release: Embodiment of Shadow ]
Rank: A
Official Description: The user draws up their entire shadow around their body, channeling chakra through it in order to mold it into some form of beast ( user's choice. ) This shadow shell operates as both a defense and an offense, as it grants the wearer improved physical strength and defense, while weighing literally nothing. Additionally, because the Nara are capable of controlling shadows, the shell can be manipulated to perform other techniques, or as simple limb transformations. Unfortunately, this also means that light sources (flashes, sunlight, etc) can dispel the shell, but within dark areas, this jutsu is to be feared.
Guild Description: Lasts [10] posts. B-ranked and lower Clan jutsus are allowed take 1 less rank of chakra to perform during this. Offensive/defensive capabilities are on par with most mid-range Tai/Bukijutsu.


Kageyose no Jutsu [ Shadow Gathering Technique ]
Rank: A
Official Description: This technique places emphasis on the minute control of the shadow's movements. It is even accurate enough to make the tentacles it forms go through tiny holes. Basically, this technique takes the user's own shadow and transforms and stretches it into countless thin tentacles, which are then used to grab objects and pull them in. Also, one can skillfully make use of the tentacle-shaped shadow tendrils by using them to lift up and throw weapons like kunai and so forth. This technique has many possible applications and uses. There are no hand seals used for this technique, but the hand movements resemble that of Gaara's Sand Binding Coffin.
Guild Description: After the initial A-rank casting, this jutsu only takes a B-rank of chakra per post. Ends if the user forms other handsigns.


Kage Tsukami no Jutsu [ Shadow Clutch Technique ]
Rank: A
Official Description: The user materializes and extends their shadow along a surface, before merging it with that of the intended target, allowing them to grab hold of and manipulate the object in question. This technique can even be used to lift heavy objects into the air. Unlike with the Shadow Imitation Technique, though the two shadows are connected, the user is not forced to imitate the target's movements.
Guild Description: Is able to lift up to 2 tons worth of material, and throw it like it weighs nothing.


Kage no Gengetsu Mori [ Shadow of Crescent Moon Forest ]

Official Description: The user forces their shadow to expand in all directions, covering an areal radius of up to 30 yards. The shadow formed this way is extremely durable, dispelled only by direct contact with a light source, and atop that, if the light source fades from an area that was previously dispelled, it will regenerate. From the field of shadow, the user is able to call up hundreds of stretching, pure black hands and claws. Similar to the [ Shadow Neck Bind Technique ], these hands are strong enough to strangle or simply snap the neck of those within their grasp.
Because of its method, the user must remain stationary at the shadow's center in order to maintain the technique.

Kage no Mai [ Shadow Dancing ]

Official Description: Taught only to those Nara Clan members that reach the exalted position of Kage, this jutsu allows all shadows (currently or further on) under the influence of a Nara Clan jutsu to be used as portals for movement. As such, all shadows affected become physical rather than imitation, & cannot be dispelled via light.
Guild Description: Cannot perform other actions while any part of the body is still travelling within the shadows. (i.e. be fully out before doing anything) Ninjutsu learned under the influence of Kage Benkyou Shiru [ Shadow Studying ] are included for movement capabilities.

Description: This control allows the Snow user to create and bend snow. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can also manipulate naturally occurring snow, and it must be done while holding a double hand seal. Additionally, any snow that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

Description: This technique allows the user to release and shape the various mana of their body, creating pure white clouds. The clouds are the size of a human adult's torso, can be motioned freely through the air—following the creator's hand motions, and spread out and twisted like sheets of sand for various purposes. The only real restriction to their shape is that the white lumps stay within a three [3] meter radius of their creator at all times. The clouds are extremely cold, allowing the user to instantly create other spells from them. The user may only have a set number of clouds active at a time, but clouds can be replaced after they have been used as material for other techniques.

Snowfall

Description: The user alters and sends their clouds overhead, where they will expand to roughly five [5] meters radius. At the whim of the user, these clouds can be broken open, allowing their flaky contents to sprinkle down below for five [5] posts. Although the snowfall created by this technique is fairly moderate, it can serve as a unique tool during battle; be it as a distraction, obscurement, or refreshment.

Snowbomb

Description: The user presses their hands against their cloud, which in turn launches the entire cloud at an opponent. The user may also do this with snow on the ground, or generate their own snow. When the newly formed bomb makes contact, it will explode into wrapping webs of white wind, causing extreme cold. It can freeze water on contact and cause frostbite and hypothermia in any victims.

Breath of Winter
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C
Description: The user closes their eyes, holds a single seal to their chin, takes a deep breath, and then exhales a twisting cone of white wind and fractal snow, freezing and pushing those within its range. The cone stretches about one [1] meter wide, and extends roughly five [5] meters before diminishing. Can cause frostbite and hypothermia, and has a knock back effect.

Winter's Howl
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C
Description: The user holds a single seal to their chest, calling their clouds or existing snow to gather closely around them. After being collected, the clouds stretch into one another and spin, creating a white tornado which follows the user's directions: brandishing powerful winds to protect oneself, or trap one's target. It should be noted that the eye of the tornado is extremely cold, temperatures only a Snowborn or the prepared can withstand for long. This can be maintained for an upkeep of half the original cost.

Fubuki Hira no Jutsu [ Snowstorm Palm Technique ]
Rank: B — Chakra
Description: After channeling and holding chakra into one of their palms, the Shinsetsu aims their hand at their target, and releases a twisting whirlwind packed with snow. The winds harshly shuffle enemies around with ease, and anything caught within them for long will be crippled by sheer cold. The whirlwind stretches about four (4) feet wide, and extends roughly eighteen (18) feet before diminishing.

Boufuusetsu no Unari [ Blizzard's Bellow ]

Description: The Shinsetsu holds both of their arms straightforward, pulls them in once as they breathe, and then motions them outward as they release a burst of white wind from their mouth. This technique is not meant to deal much damage, but it packs a tremendous amount of cold and exerting force; allowing one to disrupt, dislodge, and throw targets. The wave stretches about fifteen (15) feet wide, and extends roughly fifteen (15) feet before diminishing.

Hanpou Kousetsu [ Rampant Snowfall ]
Rank: B — Chakra
Description: The Shinsetsu alters and sends their Hatsuyuki clouds overhead, where they will grow to become roughly five (5) yards in diameter. With the snap of the user's fingers, these clouds crack open, casting a powerful blizzard of heavy snow and powerful winds down below; slowly freezing and plodding those caught within. Although brief, this storm is capable of leaving the region it afflicts a wasteland of glistening white. It should be noted that like similar snowfall techniques, Hanpou Kousetsu is much more effective in medium-sized areas. Because the Hatsuyuki have become altered by this technique, they can be replaced after activation. Duration: three (3) posts.

Yuki-onna no Houyou [ Snow Woman's Embrace ]
Rank: A — Complex
Description: As if a beckoning hand through a raging snowstorm, this hold is meant to be a powerfully captivating weapon, capable of decommissioning foes swiftly, and quietly. The Shinsetsu attempts to latch onto their target with a single hand, the opposite hand held firmly in vertical alignment, as if offering a prayer. If successful, the user will instantaneously engulf their prey with a grim chill: first starting at the held area, before encroaching to the rest of the body. The initial burst of cold is often the most effective surge, making caught limbs useless due to extreme numbness—if not simply afflicting them with frostbite.

Hyou [ Hail ]
Rank: A — Chakra
Description: The aim of this technique is to increase the immediate lethality of the Shinsetsu's otherwise daunting abilities. Not an attack on its own, Hyou is used to modify other Shinsetsu techniques, making the snow within them as hard as stone through intensive chakra concentration; increasing striking and knockdown power while reducing chilling effects. Rather than costing {80} chakra to perform, each modified technique costs an additional {20} chakra.

Teikiatsu Kousetsu [ Cyclone Snowfall ]
Rank: S — Chakra
Description: The Shinsetsu alters and sends their Hatsuyuki clouds overhead, where they will exponentially girth to roughly ten (10) yards in diameter, darkening as they do. When the user holds their hand skyward, the now black clouds will burst open, encircling the area below with snowy whirlwinds, making entering and exiting said grounds a trial for anyone. These secluding winds are just a taste, however, of the true power of Teikiatsu Kousetsu; the incredible blizzard technique that was used en masse to save the Shinsetsu clan so long ago. By taking aim, performing a short string of handsigns, and holding their grip on the last sign, the Shinsetsu is able to call down a dark snow twister from the Hatsuyuki clouds above—slender pillars of frosty tempest crashing down like lightning; freezing, tearing, and tossing those they strike. It should be noted that the short string of handsigns is needed for each individual twister, though once initiated, the user can break away to perform other actions. Unlike other snowfall techniques, Teikiatsu Kousetsu is much more effective in large areas, so as not to damage allies. Although the Hatsuyuki have become altered by this technique, they cannot be replaced after activation, only once the duration of the technique has passed. Duration: five (5) posts.

Shadowless Flight

Description: The core of the Speedborn, this spell is used to increase the user's speed exponentially, allowing them to move faster in all aspects. At the cost of strength--physical strength falls by one [1] rank--the user increases their physical speed by two [2] ranks. Likewise, in what would normally be a collision between attacks, a Speedborn's attack will always hit first. They can maintain this state for half of the original cost per post.

Sudden Stop
Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: --
Description: Upon casting this spell, everything within a ten [10] meter radius, including the user, is slowed significantly. While within the radius of the spell, physical and spiritual speed is reduced by two [2] ranks. The area is static and does not move with the user. However, upon reaching B-rank experience, the user is no longer affected by the reduced speed.

Jinton: Takusan Hoshi no Jutsu [ Speed Release: Many, Many Stars Technique ]

The direct opposite technique of the Jinton: Shuriken no Jutsu, this slows down all airborne objects & entities by half. Chuunin are capable of one quarter, Jounin one eighth, Konin one sixteenth, Sannin one thirty-second, & Kage one sixty-forth.


Jinton: Awa no Gawa no Jutsu [ Speed Release: River in the Sky Technique ]

The direct opposite technique of the Jinton: Ecological no Jutsu, this physically speeds up those within a 30 meter radius, even the caster, to double their original speed. Mental capacities are not, however. Chuunin are capable of triple, Jounin quadruple, & Konin quintuple. Trees will snap & break, exploding up into the air, grass will become miniature knives, rivers will become torrential, human movement will become excruciating & tedious, etc...


Jinton: 'Jutsu zya nai' no Jutsu [ Speed Release: 'No Techniques' Technique ]

The pinnacle of Speed Release is to stop all chakra formation within a 30 meter radius, by causing a Mobius 'skin' of slow movement on those within the radius of the caster, including the caster. It affects only chakra molding & forming. Simple movements & the like are not affected in the least.

Steel Manipulation
Description: This control allows the user to create and bend steel. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be shifted around as if it were a part of their own body. It should be noted that one can only manipulate their steel objects they themselves have made. Additionally, any steel that is being freely manipulated is not very strong, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

tab Rank C: Medium amount of steel [a torso].
tab Rank B: Large amount of steel [a body].
tab Rank A: Very large amount of steel [an elephant].

• Requires [5] parts of a paragraph to learn, and must be learned before proceeding to other techniques. Receives no reductions.
• Manipulated steel lose any modifiers, and are beaten by techniques of the same rank, or one rank lower against fire.

Description: Users are able to donate their steel for weapon repairs, on the spot, without use of blacksmithery tools. This also applies to metallic puppets. The amount created scales the same as the Steel Manipulation spell.

Impervious Armor
Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: --
Description: This spell allows the user to turn their body into steel, making that part gain a Defense of D - rank, durability [5]. Is usable only on one limb at a time, increasing the number of limbs that can be affected with each experience rank, starting at C (i.e. C-rank can cover [2] limbs, B-rank [3], etc.). This can be maintained for an upkeep of half the original cost.

Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: --
Description: While Impervious Armor is active, this spell allows the user to grow--from their affected body parts--simple steel weapons and items known by the user. It will not copy special abilities or properties other items have. Is usable only from the affected limb(s) at the time, increasing the number of weapons created by each rank: 1 for D, 2 for C, 3 for B, 4 for A, 5 for S. Weapons become highly brittle if Impervious Armor ends.

Ten-Finger Steel Bullets
Rank: C | Strength: B | Speed: D
Description: Hardened, hollow-pointed steel from the fingertips are shot at the enemy, with a spinning motion added to the bullets. This technique is essential to the weighted down user for their long distance attacks.

Steel-Style Wall
Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: --
Description: Upon casting, three thin walls of steel will erect themselves in front of the user for a last ditch defense. Not being made from the body these only count as C-rank defense for a short time, durability [3].
