World - Cartwright (c) vs. Ken Armand

smart to move Ken's hands like that. The champion lights the challenger's chest up with a chop, the customary "Wooo!" breaking out from the audience. For the moment, Ken has no retaliation in him, as he's just trying to catch his breath and leans heavily on the ropes  

[Cartwright]

Cartwright shakes his chopping hand after that one, admiring the work that it has done to Ken's chest. The champion keeps the distance between them close, as he feels confident enough to try and lay into Ken with a series of forearm shots to the head!

the hits keep coming, this time for the head with each shot rocking Ken back until he frees his arms and attempts to shove Cartwright backwards to get some separation  

[Cartwright]

Ken needed some separation and he gets it with his push, sending Cartwright towards the opposite ropes. Cartwright looks upset about it and flips Ken off!

 

[Ken Armand]

Ken hadn't intended to just get Cartwright off him. Ken charges after getting flipped off and attempts to dropkick the champion right in the face  

[Cartwright]

The hand gesture certainly did its job! Ken comes towards Cartwright with both feet and while Cartwright would have loved to sidestep it, his back doesn't allow such a swift movement! The Lad takes the dropkick to the face and it drops him to the mat!

Ken hits the mat but it was his choice so he gets right back up. Time to fire up a bit more as he goes to pull Cartwright up and aim a knife edged chop across his chest as payback for the one he'd suffered a minute ago  

[Cartwright]

Ken lifts Cartwright up and launches a blistering knife edge chop across his chest, The Lad grimacing in pain as he protects the struck area with both hands!

Switching tactics slightly as Cartwright has covered his chest, Ken aims a punch for his jaw since its wide open  

[Cartwright]

Darn those natural reactions! Cartwright's instinct to protect his chest comes at a cost as a punch from Ken to the face staggers him across the ring!

Time to keep things going as Ken looks to irish whip Cartwright across the ring and catch him on the rebound with a spinebuster  

[Cartwright]

Ken sends Cartwright across the ring, waiting to grab the champion on his return and slamming his back into the mat with a powerful spinebuster. Cartwright arches his back in pain!

Ken has the momentum going his way again and he quickly floats over into a pin, looking to put the champion away  

[Cartwright]

Ken quickly covers Cartwright on the mat for a pin fall attempt.

Cartwright lifts his right shoulder up!

Ken sits back after the kickout, his mind racing. He gets up and goes out onto the apron. He knows the champion is going to get up and he has to pull some more tricks out of his bag. As Cartwright gets up, he would springboard in aiming for a hurricarana into yet another pin
