β±β°β±Haruki stood in a quiet part of the gardens as they waited for Akaran to meet them. They were surrounded by cherry blossoms in bloom and smiled. This was the one place where they felt truly at home in the entire world. Whenever they were on the battlefield, they remembered that this place, these people, were what they were fighting so hard to protect. When Akaran arrived with a large group of people, Haruki smiled pleasantly at them. Their face was framed by the cherry blossoms that danced in the gentle breeze. Haruki's face flushed when Akaran praised them. "Lord Shogun." They bowed in a respectful and traditional way when Akaran addressed them. The new general was proud and ashamed of their service all at once. Haruki, much like the new shogun, represented a mixture of traditionalism and new ideas. At times these sentiments felt like a conflict within them but all Haruki could focus on was doing right by their home. "Thank you for meeting me here." Haruki said when they lifted their head to smile on Akaran and the group. "Thank you all for coming. As Lord Akaran said, I'm General Haruki Chiru. I ask that you all refer to me by they/them pronouns. Please, everyone, introduce yourselves." Haruki would wait for several minutes while everyone introduced themselves and they intended to commit all names and faces to memory.
β±β°β±Yet, there was one person in the group aside from Akaran that Haruki recognized. They looked briefly at Seika, recognizing their cousin's face. Yet, Haruki got the sense that Seika might not want to be revealed just yet. This was a feeling that Haruki knew all too well. "Hi there, beautiful. Why don't you start?" Haruki said to Seika with a friendly smile in the hopes that they would ease any tension in the situation with a genuine compliment. Haruki invited Seika to introduce herself first because they had the feeling that there was an important change in their cousin that they needed to know.
β±β°β±Haruki was tall and muscular with broad shoulders. Yet they also spoke with a very high pitched and soft voice. After everyone finished introducing themselves, Haruki would continue. "I'm happy you're all here. This is the safest place we can all speak in privacy. My family's been tending to these cherry blossoms for generations. Well, my family on my father's side. They are the Zaishin branch of the Chiru. My mother's side is the Seiryu clan." Haruki spoke kindly with the others but found themselves straying on a tangent of sorts. They regained focus by looking directly at Akaran. "Unlike others, I support the new shogun wholeheartedly. I've bled for this country many times. I served as an officer when Shogun Seizo foolishly attacked the shinobi world. I was also on the front lines when Zaishin almost collapsed from civil war. I'm done with the violence and prejudice of this country. We need to grow past it. What do you all think?" Haruki spoke passionately and earnestly. They were also curious of the views of others in the area.

She followed Akaran after the Temple's settlings of talk, conversation, debates but everything turned out good. Though they have gone to this garden to meet with someone, a general. There's just something about the air here, she felt at ease, with the cherry blossoms surrounding them as if greeting them. Though she never thought she would have to use they and them pronouns but she will do her absolute best in all respect. The general did thank them for coming and asked for Seika to speak first and introduce herself. With that, she figures she could focus in her thoughts in what she wants to say to Akaran about the dark recesses of her fear. The reason why the fear has crawled into her being, even her seemingly passive aggressiveness at Eiji.
Though the cherry blossoms are very beautiful, they catch her eyes, and reminds her of a time that her best friend Lyx told her about them. How pink they are, how they can blend beautifully into the blue skies that can occur over Zaishin. With the silence of war and such skies like that, this place is so quiet that she could sleep here. Her mind eased, forgetting about her fear, even if it was only for mere moments, it made her happy. She would close her eyes and smile brightly as the smell of cherry blossoms clogged up her nose. Nothing she didn't mind at all but she did keep her ears up, can't be disrespecting the General.
Though once had Seika had spoken, the general had asked what their thoughts about growing past all the violence and prejudice against one another. "My name is Samatha Uchiha and i vow say that time of violence and prejudice has come to a end. That man, who attacked us back in the castle, his ways aren't our ways neither should we allow such things to continue and potentially going against the Bushido Code. Such code is our way of life as well as tradition shouldn't be squandered by hostility. Together we are Zaishin, together we are its people, and all of us have heart to protect our home. That should be not just our passion but our repellent against anything that tries to disrupt the peace here." Samatha spoke like a true Samurai, one that once fought the Commander, maybe the General heard about that. It was a long battle and she could of died in that fight but here she is, still breathing before another person she could potentially become friends with.

Akaran led the small group into the Zaishin Gardens. Seika remembered coming her long ago with some of the other children when she was little. The memories were bittersweet, with the woman pursing her lips in thought as eyes lingered on many flowers across the walk way. The sweet floral scent followed by, as Seika's Seiryu sense of smell had made this all the more fond. nearby was a silhouette of a person standing before them, a smile plastered on their face. Akaran introduced them as General Haruki, who then greeted everyone in turn, offering a deep bow to the newest Shogun of Zaishin. In turn, they went to the newcomers and asked them to introduce themselves as well. While normally such a request was normal of the samurai, their comment to her, specifically, had caused the normally composed samurai to fluster. Cheeks burned red as her eyes went towards Haruki and then away. They bounced back and forth before she cleared her throat and introduced herself. "Ah-I'm Seiryu Seika. It's an honor to meet with you, General."
Once everyone had gotten introductions, Haruki let their intentions be known about Zaishin and Akaran in general. It was a relief to hear that he was accepted by the General, although Seika still was most shocked about learning that they were a Seiryu, even if not full blooded. Her uncle most likely would have choice words regarding their heritage but to Seika, it mattered not. Any Seiryu willing to serve Zaishin was a full Seiryu to her. She smiled a bit, still red in the face with the compliment, but fighting to not appear to affected. "I agree with your Sentiment, General. Although my clan had once led the revolution against Zaishin, I strive to one day mend these wounds in full. From our shattered noble families, should harmony come. We have remained isolated from the world for far too long and suffer all the worse because of this. A unified Zaishin must stand tall before our home is swept away by the annuals of time."
Modifiers: β±β°β± Book of Water | The user's complex sword strikes from styles as well as basic combat complex sword strikes can expel a thin five foot blade of water per rank of the technique that follows the path of the physical blade. In addition, the user gains access to 4 ninjutsu slots to be used for the Water Element only.
β±β°β± Gift of Perception | The clan's naturally keen sense of smell is not always the gift granted to the clansmen. Occasionally, the clan members are gifted a different sense to be heightened, multiplying the natural abilities of that sense by ten. Sight grants visibility to micro-movements of muscle groups, sight spanning the entire topic within a straight line. Following in silence, Shinta would feel the vibrations of the earth to guide his path forward, unable to see with his eyes as others. As they neared their destination, Shinta could feel the roots beneath them. ' Trees...large ones..' he thought to himself. He'd assumed gardens meant flowers or some smaller unappealing plant he could not appreciate. Their voice was high pitched, not feminine, but not masculine either. Shinta's senses opened up as he felt the vibrations of the General's shifting weight. ' larger frame than a female. Male? ' He wondered. He would abolish the sentiment, he couldn't see them anyway, who cared. They were but another faceless voice. They asked everyone introduce themselves. Shinta remained silent as he listened to his allies introductions. Nobility, famous heritage and the like. They had prestige, resources, homes, ambitions, goals, dreams, aspirations.
"Shinta." He said when his turn came. He spoke no more. He had none of these titles or lofty ideologies. Shinta was merely here because Akaran had shown him kindness for the first time in his life and he wished to repay him for that with his meager talents.

Walking under the boughs of these eternal cherry blossoms brought a sense of peace upon Nori. If such delicate life as this could be restored much as the flame was restored by Akaran well this boded very well for the future of Zaishin as a whole in his opinion. With such thoughts upon his mind Nori couldn't help, but in the moment find himself composing a wonderful haiku to encapsulate just how he felt. Reaching into his pockets he pulled out a unassuming scroll case baring no seals for it had nothing within it yet. Producing an ink brush as well as he never went anywhere without one he unfurled the scroll, and began to make his mark down upon it quickly so to catch up with the group when he was finished.

Satisfied with what he had penned down upon the scroll Nori nodded with a smile the ink quickly drying as he rolled the scroll back up sliding it back where he had gotten. Catching up with the group just in time to hear the the introduction of the new General, and some of the others he moved to introduce himself as well. "It is a pleasure to meet you General Haruki Chiru, I am Nori Hogosha, and do not mind my age while I know I am a tad older to be starting as an Okkapiki, it is only because of my family wished for me to have first be trained as a Priest of the Tenryu Shinko." Nori gave a bow of respect as he let the rest to introduce themselves.
When prompted by the General, Nori already had a response in mind for his thoughts on the current happenings. "I know as for myself that I am ready to be done with the conflict that has afflicted our lands for so long, and I am sure many of my Clan would agree with me we are greatly worried that all this strife, and violence will awaken the more powerful, and malevolent yokai from their seals unleashing them upon the lands once more." What Nori did not say was that there was one specific yokai he feared would awaken due to all the conflict the very same one that took his father's life to seal way. He tried his best to keep such thoughts, and fears from showing on his face.
Upon receiving Akaran's invitation, Kaminari made her way towards Eien no Hana with haste. Naturally, this was the proper response given that it was coming directly from the newly appointed Shogun. However, the grounds for such a reaction was equal parts loyalty and camaraderie. Only a month had passed since their encounter that day, where she fondly remembered Akaran's display of compassion and courage against the horde of Yokai that threatened Hono Temple. It made her suddenly aware of the harbored hatred she had for Yokai, much like many of them had for humans. Akaran being both, had suffered the ire from his own kind twofold, yet remained open and considerate to everyone despite his pain. This had enlightened Kaminari to the dilemma the opposing sides faced, impacted even more so by the several centuries of strife. For what it was worth, what little of Akaran's actions that Kaminari witnessed, was enough for her to believe she could trust him.
By the time the young Raiu clanswoman arrived at the garden, the party had gathered, engaging in discussion and greetings. Eien no Hana was a beautiful place, as it always has been. It made for a perfect meeting place to engage in civil debate. Kaminari politely placed herself among the group without disturbing the Hogosha priest who was speaking, who had introduced themselves as Nori. He actively voiced his clan's distress for the current state of Zaishin and how it could potentially rouse stronger, more sinister spiritual beasts. The unease of this statement only manifested on Kaminari's face in a slight frown, as the memory of her own encounter with a powerful demon that resulted in the death of her brother, suddenly bombarded her mental space. Negative emotions and energies were very capable of emboldening Yokai, especially those whose power relied on it. She knew that all too well.
Once Nori finished speaking, Kaminari would speak up, by first formally greeting Akaran, "Glad to see that you are well, Lord Shogun." She'd bow to him, relieved to see that he was in better shape than he was a month ago. Much has happened since then, including his awakening as the Asaryu. Turning to General Chiru, a respectful bow was given to them in kind. "General Chiru. It is an honor to officially meet you. I am Kaminari Raiu." This was Kaminari's first time meeting General Chiru in person, only hearing about the individual in stories from her brother. "We are long overdue for change in Zaishin. The stagnancy of this nation due to the rigidity of tradition, has caused us to turn against each other. We must learn from our mistakes and heal the traumas of our past. To adapt. Or else, we will fall." Kaminari spoke sternly, looking to each individual in the group, then back to General Chiru. The country was rooted deep in their archaic customs. While Kaminari was all for upholding traditions, as best as she could, the evolution of their world currently required a new outlook on things. Not to mention the current predicament the country had found themselves in; completely divided and slowly unraveling within its own chaos.
"The discord between the noble clans is only adding to the damage that this city has suffered. My clan creates an even greater rift by not only being at odds with the other noble clans, but with each other as a family. I aim to find a solution. As unfortunate as it is, we as a country are at our lowest point. This is the best time to reassess our standards and create new systems. To establish order that strengthens and sustains the unity of all in Zaishin." Kaminari was almost certain that achieving the unity many of them aspired for would not be easy. She was already dealing with the backlash from the Raiu clan, not just for her failures as a hunter, but for her beliefs, as well. While she was on former Shogun Musunde's side, as far as his ideals were concerned, Kaminari felt that it was the execution of them that may have done more harm than good to the country.
The Gardens this was perhaps the first time in a long while that Katsuki had visited them without being under the constant vigilance of his father who was always reminding him of his duty, his honor, and the failures of those who came before him that he must be better than. Before all that he had a more fonder memory of when his mother would take him to these gardens when he was a much younger boy a time before he could hold a sword. Once he could probably wield a blade his childhood was effectively over in the eyes of his father, and it was time to begin training him in the way of the Raiu samurai. It was almost enough to relief some of the weight of the expectations set upon his shoulders, almost.
Coming to a stop with the other he tilted his head as he took stock of General Chiro today was indeed a day of meeting legends among the Zaishin. Not only that, but not long after the older Hogosha boy introduced himself Kaminari had also arrived. Katsuki knew his relative or at leas the knew what his father told him which wasn't all that good however Katsuki tried his best not to judge everyone based on the opinion of his father more trying to form his own opinion of them as his mother would want of him. Though he could not deny that Kaminari wasn't exactly a favorite among the many louder voices among their clan.
Finding a chance to step in Katsuki bowed deeply in turn first towards the Shogun, and then towards the General before formally introducing himself. "I am Katsuki of the Clan Raiu I may be young ,but I swear my blade shall serve Zaishin with steadfast loyalty, and honor." His father would be proud of such an introduction he had not raised Katsuki to be a bumbling peasant when it came to speaking with those who were both superior in strength, or in rank. "I can only hope that I will be able to meet all of your expectations..and those of my father Katsu Raiu..." Katsuki paused for a bit as he took a breath for he knew the next words he was about to say would greatly anger his father should he catch wind of them as he heavily sided with the pro-seizo faction behind closed doors ."I know the previous leaders of the Raiu have caused much trouble for Zaishin..each one failed this land greatly in their own ways serving themselves instead serving Zaishin...and so." Stomping his foot down with passion he lifted his head to look right at Akaran. "I promise I will become the Shogun some day...and be as strong, and just as you Lord Akaran."

Today had not gone how she had expected, things had taken a rather drastic turn in her life. Akaran had at least a month of time to accept and swallow the concept of the responsibility of the position that he had earned, however this was not the case for her. Haumea was used to hovering around and being studious, sort of doing her own thing with others around, even if she had learned directly from some of the seniors. It was hard for her to see past the station sheβd been dictated as existing in such a brief leap. At this time she thumbled with these thoughts, Haumea also reminded herself of her spiritual duties, what happens happens for a reason and that clearly her fate intended for her to go this direction, meaning this could be called a form of destiny which is something one either fights or embraces. I wonder how long it will take me to be able to balance my new duties and spiritual pursuits. Some time to myself would be really useful, urgh iβm going to miss align my chakras fretting like this.β She grumbled privately in her own mind, her expression remaining rather stoic and unreadable as she continued trying to mentally not let this whole day overwhelm her.
The little journey took them to the gardens of the Peak Sun Quarter, the Shogun leading them to a person, one of the countries generals in fact who seemed to be waiting for them, not over here to enjoy the scenery specifically but they seemed to be comfortable here. They introduced themself refamiliarize Haumea with their name, Haruki Chiru, a general of renown both in skill and what Haumea would call, βmore enlightenedβ than the average person of their prestige station. She learned something new today as Haruki spoke, not aware that the tending of these gardens was cared for by a specific clan. She felt a sense of assurance that they would be able to speak privately here, the concern of being spied on was prevalent to her, though it would be hard for Zaishinites who disagreed with the shifting status quo to hire shinobi level spies so the security here was genuine. Haumea sensed no hostility from Haruki as he spoke, hinting to her of the truthfulness of their words as they pledged loyalty to Akranβs claim to power and shared some thoughts they harboured of Zaishinβs future, reminding those present of dark blots of the countries recent history, Haumea appreciative of the sincerity professed in their tone.
She chose to hold her tongue and hear what everyone else had to say, fond of letting others express points she might so she could mention tidbits she felt went unsaid, though it would seem a lot of people here were on the same page. Only for a few seconds did she get concerned, which involved people not initially with the group coming along, though they lacked malice. Either way she was able to experience a sense of pride and comfort as each person came forward and spoke with respect to the Chiruβs words, a light smile playing on her face as she thought about how those ancestors in the heavens must be thinking and feeling as they viewed this βmotley crewβ whom wanted to turn the wheels of progress. It was about there she realized it was her time to talk, having certainly left and empty pause in the conversations flow causing people to wait on her. She hastily stepped forward with an unintentionally exaggerated motion, reaching both hands forward and taking a hold of the other hand's wrist causing them to be hidden by her sleeves as she bowed. βAmitabah, my apologies for getting lost in the moment, My name is Haumea Seinaru Enjo, the apparent new head of the clan. It is a pleasure to meet you, General Haruki Chiru-sama. It appears the rumours about your progressive thinking are true.β She stated with a polite and soft tone, separating her hands and signalling toward the rest of the people present, offering them all a look of pride. βAs it does appear Lord Akaran has chosen many others with real sights toward the future, based on what has been said by those who have their piece. I admit that as apprehensive about what may rise about pushing for change in a rigid nation like our ownβ¦, my heat has always yearned for us to step out of our stagnant and crucial society. To many our culture and society has basically been a prison, trapped in place by wrought iron bars that would not yield, yet with keen minds it is possible to bend these bars and step through into a vast new position with opportunities none might ever have dreamed possible to achieve opening up to them.β She paused like she often did to look toward the sun for a few seconds. Finally she wistfully finished her piece. βI wish to be a part of helping to enlighten our country into leaving this stagnant prison of missed opportunities and passed over potential, to see people forced to kneel, lower their heads and crawl to be able to stand and walk with the ability to see ahead of them and be able to chose their own path and not fear those on pedestals wrath for it. Finally I wish for a kinder country and I believe that we need unity between the five divine beasts if we are to achieve this. For too long have we existed in almost a territorial struggle as if it were, the example we offer those others to follow is in need of change and I can assure the Vermillion birds children will leave their perch and soar across the lands and assist in this noble cause.β She said with a greater intensity than she had revealed thus far, speaking firmly and a little louder, balling a fist as if grasping at something not there. If today was the day everything in her world would change, then she would grasp a hold of it, that was her new resolve and she decided she would see it through, without reluctance. She then realized how intensely she had been speaking and immediately softened her posture and brought a hand to her mouth and cleared her throat with a little embarrassment. βPardon me, it seems I lost my composure for a second there.β She muttered apologetically whilst looking sideways, stepping back as a way to try and step out of any proverbial spotlight she may brought upon herself.

β±β°β±It was touching for Akaran to be instantly accepted as Shogun by General Chiru. They accepted him not just for being a part of some prophecy that Akaran barely understood. It was more than that. Haruki supported Akaran for the progress that he represented for the country. Akaran smiled brightly as Haruki spoke. He waited patiently as each person spoke in answering Haruki's question. Akaran wanted to speak last so he waited for each and every person to say their piece. He listened intently to each of them because he knew that a leader needed to understand the voices of others before he could forge ahead. Samatha spoke of peace and following bushido and Akaran could not agree more. He smiled and clapped his hands in support of what she said. Seika spoke of the Seiryu clan's past mistakes and ways to move forward. Akaran wondered if Seika and Haruki could work together to bring the Seiryu into the fold. When Shinta just said his name, Akaran wondered if he had more to say. "What do you think, Shin-Tah?" Akaran was not sure if the boy he had taken in was just being shy or not but the Asaryu wanted to give him a chance. When Nori spoke up, it reminded Akaran that he needed to give the new Okappiki their signets. Nori's note about the feral yokai resonated with Akaran. Not all yokai were peaceful and samurai would have to defend themselves whenever the need arose.
β±β°β±Akaran smiled at Kaminari when she arrived and greeted him. "Much better! It's good to see you, Kah-mee-naa-ree." He remembered when he protected her from the invading yokai during the civil war. That was the last time that he remembered seeing the Raiu clanswoman. He listened closely to Kaminari's point that Zaishin was at its lowest point. He reflected on how the past two shoguns had failed and how the land itself had been plunged into violent conflict for so long. He knew that he would need Kaminari's help in convincing the Raiu, whose authority as the shogun clan had been usurped. At least he had one person from the Raiu clan who acknowledged him as Shogun in Kaminari. Next was Katsuki who spoke in an inspiring way. "That's a great goal, Kat-suki!" Akaran was flattered by Katsuki's admiration and only hoped that he could truly live up to it.
β±β°β±When Haumea introduced herself as the new head of the Seinaru Enjo clan, Akaran nodded in support. "Elder Ei-jee believes I'm Asaryu now. Hau-me-a was named head of the clan too. Ei-jee has sent letters to the other clans that the Sei-na-ru En-jo are supporting me." Akaran wanted to fill Haruki in that the attempt to appeal to the Seinaru Enjo was successful. He then listened to Haumea's passionate speech. He clapped his hands for her and cheered in response. Akaran truly believed that the Kohryu and Four Saintly Generals would show them the way. "Nor-ee, Shin-ta, and Kat-suki here are going to be your students." Akaran mentioned this as an aside to Haruki as it was a matter they discussed earlier. He looked at the three of them briefly before reaching into his breast pocket and retrieving three iron signets with the kanji symbol of "ι" representing "Iron" for the Iron Country. "I'd like to give each of our new O-ka-ppi-ki their official signets as young samurai." He smiled with pride as he ceremoniously pinned each signet to their clothing. In Zaishin, iron signets were used as symbols attached to armor or clothing as the equivalent of the shinobi forehead protector.
β±β°β±He bowed respectfully to each of them when that was finished before turning to Kaminari. "I wanted to give you a reward for your bravery during the civil war. Lady Raiu, I'm raising you to the rank of Ko-mo-no. Congratulations!" He clapped his hands in recognition of Kaminari with a smile. He knew that all of her experience merited a rank above Okappiki.

The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action. This implant does not consume an implant slot but does have the restrictions of the implant system. The implant does not carry the overwhelming factor of its base elements through this discipline. Finally, all complex Dance of the Meadow techniques are treated as spiritual in collision with other complex techniques. β±β°β± Ogrelord | The Oni's saketon pool is increased by 200. Sake used by the Oni remove or restore chakra from the target two ranks below the rank brewed for poisonous or medicinal brews respectively. The Oni restores an additional 50 saketon per post passively. The Oni's stamina is increased by 200 and taijutsu techniques cost 10 stamina less at a minimum of 5.
β±β°β±Haruki smiled at Seika in particular when she began speaking. "The honor is mine." They said politely after Seika introduced herself. Haruki crossed their arms and smiled as Seika offered her thoughts on the state of the Seiryu clan. They assumed that Seika was pretending not to recognize them because she was worried about revealing her identity to prejudiced members of the Seiryu clan. They would address this later as they decided to listen to the others first. Nori made a note of being older than was usual for a new Okappiki. "There's a lot of wisdom in the ways of Earth Ninshu and Tenryu Shinko. I'm not as religious as I once was, but I was raised in the faith. I also learned the ways of Water Ninshu and the Blue Dragon from my mother." Despite being a Chiru, Haruki had deep ties to the Seiryu clan through the maternal line. They listened to Kaminari, Katsuki, and Haumea in turn with a patient smile. They were deeply intrigued by the various viewpoints. "I hope that the fire sages prosper under your new leadership, Lady Haumea." Haruki offered their well wishes to the truly noble Seinaru Enjo clan. When Akaran gave the update that the Seinaru Enjo were finally behind him, they became excited. "That's wonderful! You're going to need the Seinaru Enjo clan's support in legitimizing your position as shogun. They're highly influential because they're the only clan that is headquartered in Zaishin City itself. They also have a strong relationship with all the clans with the exception of the Seiryu. But that's only because all the clans rightfully have issues with us these days." The internal political situation in the Iron Country was tense between the five clans. Akaran had his work cut out for him in uniting them all after the division from all the way back to Seizo's reign.
β±β°β±Yet, Haruki was aristocratic and well-connected with a strong sense of how to have a chance at overcoming these problems. They looked at Kaminari and Katsuki and offered some thoughts on the Raiu Clan. "All the other clans look up to the Raiu as they held the Shogunate for as long as most samurai can remember. Their support for Akaran would do well to tip the scales in our favor with the rest of the clans. Yet, the Seizo followers and Musunde followers among their ranks are still arguing. On top of that, the Raiu are traditionally known as great yokai hunters. They're not likely to support a non-Raiu and half-yokai shogun like Akaran easily. The proud Raiu clan is going to need a strong reason to support Akaran. Do you two have any thoughts on this?" Kaminari and Katsuki were the only Raiu that Haruki knew of who supported Akaran as the shogun. "My thought on this is that Akaran is the Asaryu of legend. He also has the seal that Seizo and Musunde once had that allows him to control yokai. What if, during a feral yokai attack, Akaran uses the Kohryu's soul's power to stop the attack and protect the Raiu lands? I think that might help inspire loyalty for him." The general put a lot of thought into how this might work. It was common for the Raiu Castle to be attacked by feral naga and the like.
β±β°β±Haruki then watched as Akaran passed out the signets to their students and promoted Kaminari. "I'm pleased to meet you, my students. I hope to teach you the ways of Bushido and induct you into Zaishin's great army." They thought about what might happen next. "I think I can help you become a higher-ranking Hogosha sage, Nori. As for Katsuki, I can also train you for officer command in the samurai ranks, which is the traditional track to the Shogunate. And you, Shinta? What are your goals?" Shinta was quiet but Haruki sensed great potential in him. Regardless, Haruki was dedicated to seeing their students succeed.
β±β°β±They returned their full attention to Seika once again. "Before we can get to the Raiu, we need the Seiryu's support first. The Raiu will take more time because we need to wait for the right opportunity. The Seiryu may not acknowledge it, but they need our help the most. They've just rebuilt their castle from the Prophet pirates' attack. They lost about a dozen people and built a memorial for them a few days ago. I do think we should all go and pay our respects. After the Seiryu visit, I can begin the lessons for the new Okappiki." They signaled an intention to take the entire group to the Seiryu castle and then would split off with the students after that. They then walked over to stand closer to Seika. "The Seiryu have all finally come back from exile after their rebellion failed during the Seizo era. They're still a very powerful clan and maintain control over their coastal lands near the Aisu Bay. Yet, they're still healing from the pirate attack and their damaged bonds with the four other clans. I believe if Haumea here can help the Seiryu re-establish themselves through an alliance with the Seinaru Enjo then they may listen. The Seiryu are desperate for any support they can get." Haruki looked at Haumea briefly before continuing their speech to Seika. "My dear cousin, I know who you are and who you were. You were so unsure of yourself despite your great talent. My first memory of you was as a boy loaded with all the potential in the world, and now I see a woman on the verge of realizing that potential. I'm proud of you, and I know Kenji would be too." Haruki smiled kindly and looked into Seika's eyes. "I know that most of your family will love you no matter what. It's time to come home and stop running. I'll be there with all the weight that my name carries to help you." Haruki spoke so sincerely and began to tear up. They gave Seika a supportive hug that they wish they had gotten when they revealed who they really were to their branch of the Chiru and Seiryu clans. "I've missed you, dearest cousin." Their already high voice climbed to a much higher tone as they were on the verge of happily sobbing. This was all so emotionally overwhelming for them based on all the pain they already went through to find acceptance in the family.
β±β°β±They released Seika from the warm embrace and wiped away their tears before continuing. "A lot of the Seiryu's leadership have died. You're a member of the esteemed Shimamoto branch, which is the highest branch of the Seiryu who still remain since the rebellion and the attack. I've spoken with others in the family who wonder where you've gone. They know on some level that they need you to come back and lead the clan to reacceptance in the Iron Country. Can you do that?" They smiled with hope to Seika. He knew that she had the ability to make so many positive changes for the Seiryu and for Zaishin as a whole. "Despite my mother's side of the family, I'm still not a Seiryu by name. But I'm the highest-ranking member of the clan, they'll listen to me when I say that you should be the clan head. All you have to do is accept your responsibility. I know you're brave, you're a hero of Zaishin ever since the civil war. We just need to get the others to recognize that." Haruki had complete faith in Seika before looking to all the others for their support.
β±β°β±They looked at each and every person in the group before smiling with hope. "I think that if Lord Akaran has the support of the Seinaru Enjo, Seiryu, and Raiu then he can begin his work in earnest. The Hogosha are peaceful and the Mahofu will be far too outmatched to try to threaten the peace. So we'll be able to get them on board later. But I need all of your help in supporting Seika through this process if she accepts." Haruki was confident in this and used their advanced station to help Akaran become the greatest Shogun of all.

Seika joined in with congratulating Kaminari and the other additions to Zaishin's forces as they would receive a much needed promotion. The Seiryu woman clapped gently, flashing a smile towards the three students and the newest Komono. Haruki took great pride in accepting the newest three samurai under their wing as Seika sat by quietly and allowed the meeting to continue. Her eyes, however, would fall on everything but her cousin. She wondered if the General had recognized her fully, having wanted to hide her identity since coming to Zaishin out of anxiety of what her clan would think about what became of the little Seiryu boy whose brother had been responsible for spearheading the revolution against the throne. Such memories were part of the reason the lavender haired samurai would have wanted to remain inconspicuous here, although it was not to be. Haruki spoke about the Raiu and the trouble that would more than likely come from Akaran taking the throne.
Haruki approached after the promotion, theiur eyes full of life and joy that almost matched the beauty of the flowers themselves. Seika gave them her full attention, lips pursed in recollection of the attack on the Seiryu Castle from quite some time ago. It was almost like several years had passed since then, still back when she had not touched the lands outside of her home. "It's nice to see everybody returning home and forming under one banner again. But it will be an honor to visit the monument." Seika hoped it was enough to placate Haruki but they continued on. Not wanting to be rude and push them away from the Seiryu conversation, she just remained quiet and listened to the speech directed at her. This much attention on her was enough to feel akin to a knife slowly pushing forward into her chest.
Much to her surprise, Haruki did indeed recognize her, even while not as the Seiryu that she used to be. Not only that, but he was in full support of her abilities and decisions. Seika didn't know why, but it felt like a partial weight had disappeared from her shoulders. A confirmation that, perhaps, she had wanted since she had first become Seika. "Haruki..." The Seiryu said softly, clearly affected as Kenji's name was brought up. It was the final straw, the last push Seika had needed. Haruki embraced as she returned the favor. Her arms squeezed the General as they shared a hug, something he likely had absent during his position standing where she once had. Seika smiled, patting Haruki's back for a moment as she smiled. "I've missed you as well, cousin." Her touch lingered until she was certain that Haruki was fine and then let go.
Their next words took Seika by surprise. Not only had most of the leading Seiryu passed on, but many of the clan were hoping that she would return to lead their people. Just as the baggage had been lifted from her, another piled on twice its weight. Seika looked troubled by Haruki's plan, worries going through her head as she frowned. "Why aren't you able to lead them, General? Surely they'll respect you more than me." His replied with a fairly good point. She had the purest bloodline out of the two of them. And for Zaishin standards, being a child of anything more than your noble family was seen as a fate worse than death to any seeking out a higher place among them. She took a moment to reflect, taking in a mouthful of air and then pushing it out. She had taken on the worst of humanity and lived. She could do this.
"Very well. It will be an honor to serve my family and help them guide Zaishin into a new age." Seika gave a more confident smirk at Haruki. They could see she had some doubts inside of her, but behind that uncertain gaze was that same glimmer of desire that Seika had back when they had last met.
Modifiers: β±β°β± Book of Water | The user's complex sword strikes from styles as well as basic combat complex sword strikes can expel a thin five foot blade of water per rank of the technique that follows the path of the physical blade. In addition, the user gains access to 4 ninjutsu slots to be used for the Water Element only.
β±β°β± Gift of Perception | The clan's naturally keen sense of smell is not always the gift granted to the clansmen. Occasionally, the clan members are gifted a different sense to be heightened, multiplying the natural abilities of that sense by ten. This allows hearing to pick up on even muscle contractions and friction inside the body. Smell now gives away gender, body rank, class and killing intent as well as it's previous tells. Sight grants visibility to micro-movements of muscle groups, sight spanning the entire topic within a straight line. Genjutsu effecting the heightened sense are able to be detected upon being casted, causing one tier less in mental stress.
β±β°β± Second Current | The user is able to pick up the Tetsunami Ryu Bukijutsu for no cost to their slots. Techniques of both Tetsunami Ryu and the clan techniques have the range of their water's reach increased by 5 feet per rank bud does not effect the strength of the technique when interacting with other techniques

β±β°β± Parkour Mastery | Rank A | Training The user becomes one with their momentum, learning how to harness their body as an almost perfect machine. After completing this training, the userβs agility gain any and all bonuses afforded to their speed.
β±β°β± Acrobatic Mastery | Rank D | Training Having practiced their art with great concentration, the user has learned to change direction of their whorl technique. After this training is complete, the user may use up to one technique per post that would lower the stats affecting their speed without suffering that reduction. The user gains the ability to use Somersault to evade once every three post without it consuming an activation, but only against opponents whose body rank is at or lower than the userβs.
β±β°β± Perfecting Balance | Rank C | Training Due to their various training requiring parkour style actions, the user is more stable. This training allows the user to withstand off balancing effects or knock back effects as though they were one rank lower in strength.
β±β°β± Total Concentration: Water Breathing [ SΕ NΕdo: Mizu KokyΕ« ] | Rank E | Training The Seiryu clan's ability to master water is only one side of their coin, in addition, each clansman has learned to control their breathing perfectly with this training. This controlled breathing allows the user to fortify their mental capacity and delay the effects of physical pain for a a single post. This does not have any effect on status or poisons.
β±β°β± Expert β The user has achieved a sense of mastery and focus unlike others and are known as an Expert, a dedicated focus over a weapon they use to near perfection. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, the katana. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. They gain a [+1] boost to both speed and agility & techniques cost [5] less Chakra and/or Stamina per rank of the technique when wielding attacks with their specialized weapon in attack or defense. With a minimum of 5 chakra or stamina paid.

Samatha couldn't agree more of what Seika said, of everyone reuniting under one banner. Without the unification of every noble family, Zaishin will just fall once more on hard times. It was teary eyed to see they and Seika embrace and have a hug, of the General welcoming Seika back home. With much conversation, Seika has embraced leading the Seiryu, her own family due to be more pureblood according to they. That isn't just the only thing that has come up. The fellow man Katsuki devoted himself to become the next Shogun, he also is a Raiu as well. More then that, he wants to be as strong as Akaran. If there's anything Samatha can do to help such a man, she will offer any assistance, its the least she can do.
She once wanted to become Shogun herself but after the last month, she imagines there would be much resistance against her becoming leader. She doesn't even possess nobility in her or doesn't understand why makes the Seinaru Enjo such devoted to the great flame. Is there some kind of tradition behind it, or is it deeper then that? β’ Both Sages can enhance their ninjutsu with Overwhelming. This overwhelming is capable of affecting jutsu up to S+ as opposed to normal disciplines limitation of only being able to apply it to S and below. This overwhelming can be applied to any two of the userβs elements by paying a cost of half nature chakra and half regular chakra. Human sages may do this with any two elemental natures (including Maruton) of their choice, while animal may only apply feat this to elemental natures that they share with their animal. Once chosen these elements cannot be changed.
β±β°β± Amaterasuβs Cloak | All fire based techniques produced by the Uchiha are considered bloodline techniques.The flames are turned black and fire based techniques are reduced by 5 chakra per rank with a minimum of 5 chakra to be paid for a technique. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost.
β±β°β± Melee Prodigy The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active.
β±β°β± Piercing Accuracy | The clansman is more proficient than his fellow clan members at striking tenketsu. One's gentle fist application allows them to reduce 1.5 times the amount of chakra spent in a juken strike instead of 1.25. For example, if one spends 80 chakra on a gentle fist technique, the attack robs the target of 120 instead of the 100 normal clansmen would reduce.
β±β°β± Purest Lineage | The clansman's thoroughbred lineage allows them access to the Byakugan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation. In addition, should they unlock the Tenseigan, they may have 50% less reserves to maintain it than other clan members and may also activate the Tenseigan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation.
β±β°β± Physical Prowess | The Hyuuga gains a [2] point increase in any stat after mastering stage 3 of the gentle fist and another [2] points after mastering stage 6 for a total of [4] rather than [2]. But in spite of that as General Chiru spoke of trying to win over the Raiu Clan as a whole to the cause of the young lord Akaran as the Shogun of these lands his feelings about this step were unfortunately soured if ever so slightly. "Knowing my family General, and especially knowing my father, and uncle I fear any attempts to curry goodwill would only be met with false accusations." He paused for a moment looking over to Kaminari perhaps for support, or just because she knew how many of the Raiu saw Akaran as everything that was currently wrong with Zaishin. "Even if Lord Akaran were to put a stop to such an attack, I would not put it past the elders to claim Lord Akaran was behind it in the first place only so that he could sweep in as a would be savior....and." He paused again as he took a deep breath trying to quell his own worries. "And well just me being here probably will not win you any favors with my Clan." it was a hard pill for Katsuki to swallow he knew most likely due to his family's position in the clan he would be fine, but he also knew that the Elders would easily twist this to their views as a half-yokai trying to corrupt the future of Zaishin.
Katsuki did perk up though at the suggestions of General Chiru as to the type of training that he, and the two other Okappiki would receive under his tutelage. "I am familiar with that my father, and uncle talked of great length the steps I should take to bring honor to our clan...I also have begun to learn the teachings of the Reiken no Michi during my training at the behest of my father though I have not yet been able to tap into the first virtue I am sure under your keen eye it will be right within my reach soon." He smiles slightly at the prospect of finally unlocking his spirit sword, and realizing his true potential.
