I still have yet to see any episodes of Picard.

And of course I look forward to more episodes of Discovery.

From what I've seen from Picard, this doesn't feel quite like what I was hoping for. There's a bit of continuity errors. But, uh, Alex Kurtzman has gone on record for saying that he doesn't really care about canon or continuity if it tells a good story. This is something that Spielberg has done in his movies as well. but, a long running series such as star trek has a large amount of fans that have seen a great deal of the content and, continuity matters more for longer running series.

True. There there also desperate fans who'll gobble up anything remotely related too.

I've taken it upon myself to watch the better series again.

I'm not as large of a star trek fan as you, but for a series as large as Star Trek, continuity is something that when broken really hurts a series to me.

Finally caved and signed up for CBS All Access, so I can take advantage of the free period so I can watch Star Trek: Picard. biggrin
