Ken Armand vs. Demon

[Mister Mirage]

"The following contest tonight's main event, and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first..."

 

[Drako Damone]

the lights go out for several moments, gaining a usual burst of cheers from the crowd. Finally, Forsaken hits as blue, gold, and red lights flash. A platform rises on the stage, revealing Demon standing on it, a focused look as he slowly raises his head to look out at the arena

".... weighing in at 245 pounds, Demon!"

Demon looks down to the ring for a few seconds, then starts down the ramp. He stops at the end of the ramp and looks out at the fans, his face stoic even through the cheers that come his way. Finally he turns and walks around the right side of the ring. He steps up onto the apron and glances into the ring before turning back to the crowd. He leans back against the ropes and raises his fists as flames shoot up from the ring posts. Demon steps into the ring through the ropes and climbs the turnbuckle, then raises his fists again. White lights flash through the rafters before the lights come back up and Demon steps down from the turnbuckle.  

[Ken Armand]

The Game Hits the PA and multi colored lights begin to flash. Ken rises up on platform to the stage, standing among a thin layer of smoke rising from under the stage. Around his waist is the World championship belt

"Making his way to the ring, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the GWA World Heavyweight champion, Ken Armand!"

Ken begins to make his way down the ramp, pyro continuing to go off behind him. He stops at the end of the ramp and looks around the arena, out into the fans.

Eventually, he turns and walks to the right, walking around the ring. He hops up onto the apron, then turns to face the crowd, his back to the ropes. He raises his fists and leans back against the ropes while multi-colored pyros shoot up from the turnbuckles. The crowd continues to give a positive reaction as he steps into the ring through the ropes. The lights come back up and the flashing lights stop while the music dies down. He removes the championship and holds it on his shoulder as he turns to face his opponent, a real blast from the past for him  

[Drako Damone]

Demon is familiar with the reigning world champion, they've faced off years before for championship gold. But it's been a long time and some things have to have changed. Not that it matters to Demon, he's here to beat the world champion down. So once the bell rings, he goes right in for a clothesline  

[Ken Armand]

Ken spots Demon charging in. Some things never change. Ken ducks and turns, looking to catch Demon as he turns with a few knife edged chops to the chest to back him against the ropes  

[Drako Damone]

Demon misses the clothesline and turns right into a chop, accompanied by the customary "Wooo!" with each one. Those chops sting, lighting his chest up as he ends up against the ropes  

[Ken Armand]

Ken's been active a lot more than Demon, even if they started at the same time. Time to show this guy why he's the world champion. With that he attempts to whip him across the ring for a clothesline of his own on the rebound  

[Drako Damone]

Demon finds himself being sent to the ropes, but plants his weight and attempts to reverse the whip to send Ken instead. His goal would be different as he looks for a back body drop on the rebound  

[Ken Armand]

Ken can't say he's completely surprised that the larger Demon reverses the irish whip and sends him to the ropes. Ken bounces back and spots Demon lowering his head. He attempts to stop himself and catch Demon's head to drive it across his knee with a facebuster  

[Drako Damone]

Demon once again underestimated the champion as his face is driven into Ken's knee. He bounces back up, his hand going to his face but managing to stay on his feet at least  

[Ken Armand]

feeling the momentum firmly in his corner, Ken presses the attack as he looks to hit a few quick rights and whip him to the ropes for a back body drop of his own  

[Drako Damone]

this time Demon is dazed enough not to counter and is sent to the ropes, bouncing back and being launched into the air with a back drop. He hits the mat but manages to get up again, this time reaching for his back as he turns to look for the champion again  

[Ken Armand]

Ken turns as Demon is already making his way up. Not unexpected either, so Ken is ready for him as he aims another stiff knife edged chop across the chest  

[Drako Damone]

another chop really darkens the red in Demon's chest and he staggers back a step. But he's not just going to go down without a fight, as he steps forward and throws a stiff right for Ken's jaw  

[Ken Armand]

Ken hadn't expected Demon to fire back so quickly, but clocks him right in the jaw. Alright, time for the fight to really get under way as Ken fires back with a right of his own
