13 miles of densely pact woods. It is very difficult to navigate through, This is a favorite for local rouges and highwaymen as the dark forest is perfect for robbing passerby. The crossing directly links the Land of Fire to the Land of Rivers on it's western border, and many Fire Country traders have been robbed or attacked within this unmanned crossing.
People reported strange noises or occurrences during their crossing here. While many dismiss it as superstition a keen eye might find it rather odd that the forest seems to be empty and devoid of sound.
While here close range combat take priority, as most long range ninjutsu are ineffective do to the amount of trees and shrubbery around them. Littered throughout the forest floor abandoned ninja tools and weapons. Remanences of battles previously fought.
