Overview: Long ago, in the days of old, the Land of Fire hosted a man who was said to declare himself the strongest under the sun. This man's power was unparalleled, toppling each and every foe, human or not with great ease. This man, born into a wealthy Uchiha Clan family would use his fortune to construct a great home to match his power. The largest tower, nestled at the peak of the mountain summit would be tiered fifty stories in height. Each of these towers would serve as a proving ground for warriors and shinobi alike, fighting their way to the top of the tower to face the man in hopes to take his title of the strongest. Several centuries passed as the man remained undefeated upon the fiftieth floor. Having fathered only one son who had abandoned home long ago, the man would age into dust. After his passing, the warriors would allow the Senshichojo to become his grave while generations have remained behind to guard it, claiming his spirit still lingered and awaited a worthy rival to claim his title.

Warrior's Summit
Towering above the mountain side Kyuden property is the main tower. The tower is weathered and aged like all buildings within the area. It's fifty stories each hold an arena of their own as well as medical specialists who are always on staff, even after these decades have passed. Climbing the tower is done by defeating three opponents out of five minimally for each floor. Exiting the tower is forbidden unless one wishes to restart from the first floor. Once reaching the fortieth floor and securing at least the first victory one can claim a private room on that floor for the duration of their time. Claiming a private room secures the fighter's spot within the tower and permits them to exit. However, in addition to defeating three opponents, the fighter's on floor forty and above must face a 'floor master' who is S Rank Body and must be played out by a story mod. Upon reaching the tower's peak, the master of the estate may be fought or if not avaliable, the original master of the estate will appear. Those who defeat the tower are universally agknowledged one of the world's strongest. All floors completed may be counted for the Gladiator Profession missions at their yielded rank.

Kyūden | 80000
A kyuden is a feudal palace, of massive scale and fortification. Kyuden are rare in the countries, and there is only one kyuden per district, which may only be purchased by one Shokō. Shokō are akin to feudal princes, and are the de facto community leaders within their respective districts, whether or not this status has been sanctioned by the daimyo. These buildings typically hold over a few dozen rooms with chefs, maids, laborers and even soldiers within, as well as large yards, and often even entire forests or mountains encompassed by their individual territory.

The benefit of possessing a kyuden is that the owner of the palace may create a second thread that will essentially mirror a village thread, as they own their own town. This thread can be a market, a hot springs, etc... and follows the same rules as a home in that the owner of this thread can use this to RP separately from even their residence. Additionally, lore-wise, the Shokō ruling this residence is given high prestige and may use this residence as the enclave of a faction - if approved by the Kage. Rogues must request crew approval.

The clan chamber acts as a space for clan memorabilia and ceremonies. The Clan Chamber seals all jutsu use inside the residence that is not relevant to the clan. Proves useful for putting lower clansmen in their place.

Cooking Career. Lowers the time it takes for cooking missions and to produce food by [2] posts.

•Personal Forge | 25,000
Lowers the time it takes for weapon and armor crafting.
Reduces the amount of missions required to progress toward a title by 1 paragraph. At grandmaster, this grants [2] additional T3 (Special) crafting slots in weapon and armor crafting.

There is absolutely no reason to buy this expansion. Filled with expected amenities. Those who do are often degenerates. The rank of techniques executed on bound or helpless targets in this room is increased by [1]-rank additionally binds and grapples in this room increased by [1]-rank. •Mock Classroom | 50,000
Teaching Career. Reduces the amount of missions required to progress toward a title by 1 paragraph while in the residence.
Upon reaching the Professor title the teacher is granted [1] custom that is considered a part of the teacher’s style. This is a single unique technique that may be a single buki/tai technique (not a complete style) or a single ninjutsu/genjutsu/etc technique. This is a special addition for the Teaching profession. The single slot bonus applies to all Teachers in the residence.


•Basic Sealing Array I | 35,000
Array One: The home is subject to protection from unwarranted chakra based attacks. The building is able to absorb an amount that is double to the body rank of the resident making the activation (i.e D-rank is worth 20). This array activates with unwarranted or hostile chakra fluctuations of any variety and absorbs an amount of chakra up to one rank above the user’s body rank in value. This array can be activated once per post and stops working after its full capacity is met.

•Basic Sealing Array II | 35,000
Array Two: This array becomes active after purchase. This sealing array stores an amount of chakra equal to twice the rank value of the owner’s body rank. This chakra is used to activate the sealing array’s defensive or offensive abilities. The sealing array becomes inert after using the supply of stored chakra.

•Health Room | 50,000
A health room is one operated by a nurse or even live-in doctor, with medical equipment, antibiotics and other medicines. These rooms can be used to perform transplant surgeries, and any home with one such room can give your character 200 chakra and 200 stamina as a permanent addition to their resource pools. This bonus is given only once and cannot exceed the 5,000 resource limit. This bonus is granted to officially listed owners/residents in a single residence.

•Private Hot Spring | 45,000
Accompanied by pure relaxation and the opportunity for meditation, without the interference of unwanted individuals, the hot spring allows for the relaxed shinobi to expand their mind and acquire [two] additional custom technique slots. {This benefit does not stack with visits to other private hotsprings} This bonus is granted to officially listed owners/residents in a single residence.

•Barracks | 40,000
Barracks House the Guards for an estate. To begin purchasing guards one must first purchase a Barracks. Per every [3000] Ryo spent a guardsman is stationed of a Rank equal to [X] per every [3000] Ryo spent up to [C]. These guardsmen do not leave the location they are assigned but have no limitations to their designs or skill sets. They also cannot use these skill sets to influence anything outside of their place of residence as it is a breach in contract. Even when forced or compelled to do so these guardsmen die of mysterious causes in such events.

•Watchtower | 12500
The Watchtower confers full sensory knowledge of anything and everything occurring in the Residence. The owner of the residence when in his residence may know all detailed information about his or her guests in regards to their bloodlines, chakra, and stamina totals and anything statistically. However, abilities that would evade sensory detection naturally are still effective. It is manned by Guardsmen of the appropriate paid Rank. Should these guardsmen die or become disabled this benefit is lost.

•Armory | 45,000
The Armory allows the user to make 1 additional custom item that does not count against their custom item total. The armory also increases the rank of present Guardsmen by [1] and gives them access to weapons with elemental affinities. Guards up to B-rank may be stationed. This resource cannot readily be destroyed.

•Treasury | 25,000
The Treasury creates interest as you leave your money in the hands of intelligible market men. Every IRL [ 2 - weeks] the total amount of Ryo in a Treasury increase by [1.25x] the current amount inside. However, one should be careful as a Treasury is subject to being robbed and the owner losing all their assets inside. All members of the residence can deposit their savings into the house Treasury.

Rank: S+
After Purchasing A Siege Weapon a Weapon on the residence is made. Starting at Rank [D] For every 10,000 ryo spent thereafter the Siege Weapon gains [1]-rank in durability and Damage. The Weapon does not take any Chakra or Stamina to Utilize unless it produces effects with a Chakra Affinity or Attribute. They however, are limited to only 1 activation and then subject to a [1] post cooldown period to reload. Their attacks are always treated as [Simple] aside from when using Chakra. Every Siege weapon must be manned by a Guardsmen or RPC to be of use.

The rights to mine on plot of land made exclusively yours. Every [1] IRL Week the user can claim 3,000 Ryo from the mine. Up to [3] mines may be purchase per RPC.

The rights to cultivate on plot of land made exclusively yours. Every [1] IRL Week the user can claim 3,000 ryo. Up to [3] plantations may be purchase per RPC.

Rank: S+
What should be purchased instead of its lesser scandalous counterparts. Those that find themselves in the residencies prison will have all their techniques sealed and their stats reduced to 0. Complex and Spiritual attacks cannot be used. The sturdiness of these prison bars and walls is equal to [1] per every 100,000 Ryo spent in its making Capping at S+ Overwhelming. A technique superior to its durability must be used to break out. These special cells, however, will always have a fault somewhere however, that fault when found treats the prison as being [1]-weaker than usual. Requires consent from visiting RPC's before this effects can go into place. NPC's do not require consent.

"I'm Akaran Kaguya and I'm here to ask Masato to train me in taijutsu!" The oni stomped his foot in determination as he smiled with further excitement. He was unsure how long his training would last for but he was prepared to stay for as long as necessary to understand the art of the swordless swordsman. The young man's purpose was simple and yet he felt as if he were stepping into a new life.

Akihiko caught his breath as Akaran announced his name and intentions to the guards. He wondered, briefly, if Akaran was always so ready to identify himself and his intentions with no hesitation, or if he had some history with Konoha and felt more at home there. Knowing what he did of the Oni, it was like the former. The fool was blindly trusting of everyone, though he supposed Masato had a decent reputation for a reason. "He's also Masato's number one fan," Akihiko deadpanned, hoping the teasing would get under Akaran's skin.

Sweat droplets shot forth with each strike delivered to an imaginary opponent as the muscular taijutsu master went through the kata that composed of his specialty taijutsu style he had created by combining the pinnacle of all his knowledge. Tatami mats at the far side of the room would begin to unravel as sharp cuts seemed to grow spontaneously from their center, the blade like force of his strikes having hit their mark. Satisfied, Masato would exhale softly, heat seeming to pour from his shirtless form as he released the terrific battle presence he exhuded.

Moving from the Dojo in the tower he would hear some rambling on outside. He would peer out the window from the tower, seeing that the commotion stemmed from a young man clad in crimson with horns stemming from his head who was accompanied by a more frail looking form adorning white garments as pale as their skin. He would activate the byaku-sharingan, using it's ability to precieve time slowly to read the man's lips below, seeing that he was in fact seeking Masato out to train under. Curious, Masato would vanish from his mid tower dojo training and reappear directly behind the two. " Well then, you want me to teach? You're not one of that priests foot lickers are you? If so, you can leave." His expression was fierce and sharp, he glanced between the two, taking note of the white one's apperance. "Nari...sensei..." he murmured under his breath, taking a short instant to observe the white one's figure, his Byaku-Sharingan dissecting his chakra structure to confirm that these two were separate beings.

• Battlefield Presence Discipline
_☆ :The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.

• Brawler Discipline
_☆Your taijutsu is just one side of your skill, as you are also versed in utilizing ninjutsu as well. Your Speed and Reflexes are moderately enhanced and you gain an additional 4 ninjutsu slots per rank. Once every other post all three of your activations in a post can be used for offensive taijutsu. Additionally, the user gains a keystone technique and two additional custom slots for taijutsu. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information.

___○ After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation.

___○ The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.

Not that he was able to detect the sarcasm in any case. When Masato appeared behind him he jumped forward and raised his knife-hands. "No need to get rough, I'm just lookin' for Ma-sa-to!" Akaran was expecting a seven-foot-tall mass of muscle and this man, while quite imposing, did not fit the legends. He assumed that he was some sort of guard for the tower but the guards in front of the tower who heard Akaran's yelling simply facepalmed and waited quietly to see Masato's response to Akaran's stupidity. "Wait, foot lickers? The Hell you on about?" The Kaguya kept his overly squared stance with his knife hands prepared. This whole situation was still quite confusing and he was mentally incapable of using context clues to determine the man's identity. "My name's Akaran Ka-gu-ya and I'm a ronin from the Land of Iron. I'm no good with a sword so I wanna learn Kyo-to-ryuu from a master. Please take me to Ma-sa-to so that I can become a swordless samurai!" Akaran had firey determination in his orange eyes but the anxiety and awkward stance of a novice. Nonetheless, Akaran was willing to do whatever it would take to master Kyotoryuu and be welcomed as a true samurai in his homeland.

Akihiko whipped around to see Masato standing there in the flesh, so suddenly and in such a subtle yet imposing way that Akihiko's hand flinched towards his blade before he could catch the reflex. He brought his hand down with conscious effort, looking at the man almost apologetically for the earlier mishap. "I- Akaran, that's clearly Masato himself," the mercenary said, elbowing Akaran unkindly in the side as he felt momentarily embarrassed by the Oni's inability to recognize his own hero.

Akihiko couldn't keep his eyes off of Masato's, curiously taking in the view of the doujutsu he possessed. He most certainly had no desire to be on the receiving end of its combat prowess. "Uh. Yes, that is Akaran and I am Akihiko Shinsuke. Um. What is that you were saying about... foot licking?" The already pale man seemed to somehow lose a little more color in his face. "If that is something that is happening in Konoha... I think we should cut the trip short," he said with visible displeasure. There was a reason he never visited the villages.

He had a clueless smile on his face as he sat and rested on a pad on the floor and stared at Akihiko across the room. He's handsome. Akaran was mesmerized as he felt red color his cheeks. He was so enthralled that he began to mindlessly drool on his hand which supported his chin. His fiery eyes ogled Akihiko shamelessly to the point that Akihiko might feel like a juicy piece of pork. Perhaps that was appropriate considering that the pork slices were his favorite part of any ramen bowl. Butterflies formed on Akaran's stomach as he snapped himself out of his trance by pounding on his head with his fists a few times as a brutish creature would. "How long you want to be here, A-ki-hi-ko?" In truth he did not want to trouble his travel companion, especially one that was so easy on the eyes.

Akihiko sat across the room, pensively looking out a window as he thought about Konohagakure. He didn't pursue the village life for himself, but he didn't mind the small pleasures they offered. He probably wouldn't have come til Spring if he'd been on his own. He thought about his companion and a smile danced across his expression before he forcibly quashed it. He turned sharply towards Akaran, almost in anger at how the man had gotten under his skin so quickly, only to find the Oni with an attractive flush.

He shrugged at the question. "After your training is done? I dunno. It depends on if there is something going on in the village or not. I know the festivals here are quite remarkable. I don't have anything immediately pressing, if that's what you're asking. I do what I want," he admitted as he leaned back more comfortably, sprawling out with his arms on the backless couch. He had no one waiting for him, and no one he was waiting for. "Are you antsy or something?"

▱▰▱Akaran caught a glimpse of Akihiko's smile breaking his stoic visage and his blush deepened for a moment. Of course it was only to return when he realized that Akihiko was here to stay. The samurai was then confused by how standoffish Akihiko seemed to be around him. Akaran had a hard time discerning between a person's attitude on the surface and what they may be feeling within. He tended to assume that people were more transparent than that. When he fired a question back at him, Akaran became flustered again. "What's antsy? If you're being a d**k then piss off." Akaran was being offensive and uncouth but he was not actually angry with Akihiko. He supposed it was fair if Akihiko was asking him why he was asking this question. "I got a thick head and I don't learn quick. I don't wanna hold you up but I can't leave here until I get Kyo-to-ryuu down." Akaran was far too stubborn to give up his training despite how agonizingly slowly it was going. Akaran's gumption began to shine through his determined eyes. "Being here is my dream and I can't give it up!" The oni clenched his fist and smiled with determination. He stared at Akihiko some more before he felt stupid for being overly sincere and calmed down to change the subject. "If you get bored we can go to the village when I'm not training." Akaran rubbed the back of his neck before leaning back and relaxing his shoulders a bit.

Akihiko laughed at Akaran's question about the meaning of antsy, pleased that Akaran's first instinct was that he was being picked on. Akihiko couldn't afford to be soft and appear soft, now could he? Still, he put his hands up placatingly as Akaran explained himself further.

"Relax. I enjoy the distraction from the usual grind. It's nice, being out here with you. I can wait for you to get it down. You need a little help with the movements? I'm not a martial arts expert, but I'm sure you can learn something going up against me," he teased as he straightened up in his seat. The offer was genuine, though he was delivering the offer like an a**.

"Or, if you need a break, I'm sure we can find something to do in this village. I'm sure there's a store that could use a robbery. Anything to give the genin here a workout." He laughed more cruelly this time, thinking about how he could really twist some kiddie ninjas up for an afternoon - but really, it'd be a service to Konoha to help pressure-test their ninja.

▱▰▱Akaran's face tensed when Akihiko laughed at him at first before calming down when he surrendered to him by putting his hands up. Akihiko explaining that he enjoyed doing this with him when the activities had little if nothing to do with him. The swordless samurai had never encountered a person who actually wanted to spend time with him. It was actually somewhat mending for his battered human spirit as a disgraced wandering ronin from the Land of Iron. "I like you being here too..." Akaran murmured in response as he continued rubbing and fidgeting with the back of his neck. He then began shaking his head when Akihiko mentioned bullying genin and robbing stores. "Don't be a d**k in the village or I will kick your a**." He became somewhat worried when Akihiko expressed these desires but they were so outlandish that Akaran assumed that he was just trying to trick him. This was also his gruff response to Akihiko's tough talk about sparring. Akaran loathed the idea of preying on innocent folks in the village, or anywhere for that matter, and hoped Akihiko was just joking.

Timeskip

After arduously training for weeks with Masato, Akaran was finally ready to move on. He woke up at dawn after having spoken to Akihiko and gotten packed up to go the night before. He would leave the area to begin a new journey with Akihiko at his side.
