Those traveling the path will eventually come to yet another fortress wall that guards the main building and surrounding land, this one manned by a civilian who's only job is to direct those seeking passage to the destination desired as the Umechika residence is a five minute walk from this location within the gate at the mountain's summit.

The Umechika's residence is the same home that the original master of the tower had dwelled in. This home, while being ancient has been well kept and newly renovated for the new Lord of the Tower. The entry to the home is accessable from a path that is approximately a five minute walk from the upper gate of the mountaintop. The path winds down slightly and around to the backside of the Tower itself, while not being connected directly to the tower. An awning topped staircase leads into the hallway that extends to the front door of the home. The home is two stories tall but is quite spacious. The building expands in several directions with hard wood floors and combinations of white washed walls and paper screens. Within the home is a fully equipped kitchen with several tools of the trade available, a study hall that is burdened with tremendous knowledge of history, the world's fighting arts and even secret and forbidden techniques. While the chambers of the resident Lord and Lady are combined, each has their own private chambers available if they so choose. The youngest of the clan, Azami Umechika also has her own playroom and chambers.

Hidden in a room of the house only known to the resident family is a secret passage that leads down yet another series of catacombs and passageways that hold many wonders and secrets, including the fabled Uchiha Tablet.

Kondo Kaicho

I propose we take this full circle.

In darkness came noise. A whipping, whistling wind rolling in over a hollow, grating growl. At her ankles, an onset of scraping sand relentlessly drags below. What were once familiar sensations, even happenings Sadayo had fondly recalled, had manifested without fetching desert scenery beside them.No sunrises, orange sunsets, nor green prickly outcroppings from the terrain.  No warmth. No freeze. Mostly an ominous, steady stream of sand stripping the zone of comfort and gripping tighter around her heels. And a sensation of a beast cresting the sand stream pounding a drum in her ears. 

 Light, while blurry at first, came like a gentle tear to reveal a less familiar world that teased the air with traces of burning pine: a mild and rustic aroma that conjured passing, warm feelings that stirred a muddled shape to mind. It felt familiar.

She tried to sit up against a sore, sudden ache throughout her body, and she struggled to sit upright. Her bag was at her feeet. First sight of its crumpled fabic couldn't rally a reminder that she packed up five of her puppets from the... battle. She blinked hard several times and held her breath before she began to checked for injuries. There wasn't anything alarming; she felt mostly fine other than being uncomfortable and shaken to her core. Her chest rose and fell slowly as she took in what just happened. Everything had been all a conscious effort too. In the back of her mind, Sadayo could still hear the monster at her ankles, snapping its maw, and its bellowing haunting her thoughts.

Stop. She pressed her palm to her temples and shook her head in some effort to dismiss the worse. Stop! Change the subject. Get your bearings! Granted, the transition from thinking of a monster to something else wasn't easty.

She blinked. The space she occupied was dim. Was it always dim? Light streamed in between thin gaps at the side of a wooden door. How long was she out? Where? Was she alone? What about-
