This mountain range in the land of tea is far from as spectacular as the land of lightning or the land of earth's, but it does hold a significant place in the hearts of those that live within and around it. It is their protection from the worst of the weather and the reason for the plentiful crops that are capable of growing because of it. Because of this, many farmers, miners and various other workers make their homes all throughout the region. There is much work to be found here for one who wish to stain their hands with manual labor and the sense of achievement that follows crafting something with your own hands and skill.

Once you reach the higher points of this mountain range, so many things become clear to the eyes and possibly even what was intended to be searched for in the first place.

At almost the top of the mountains, the path diverts two ways. One that is listed down and the other up. Most do not visit the path upwards because of the dangerous weather that never ceases to calm. Ice, sleet and terrifying winds drive all who wish to see the top away and has become the less traveled path of the last decade. The last person to make the trek was a young ninja from a faraway land. He wore strange clothes and carried a very large wrapping on his back. He has never been seen from since, or so the legend goes. This high up, there isn't much to breathe so most do not linger. They wish only to see the Sunrise or Sunset for merely moments and return to the peaceful life below.

Once the top of the mountain path has been reached, a pathway to the valleys below can be seen. Gentle lakes, various towns kept from modern advancement, farms as far as the eyes can see and even lairs and encampments of people that would wish harm on those around them. Each location has something for all who aspire to grow beyond who they once were. Notoriety means nothing in these lands and neither does fame. These people deal with what comes their way. Wild animal attacks, raids and even disease are a natural progression that must be overcome with the strength of an individual or of the pack.

The coast is one of the most commercial places in all of the hidden Tensei region. It has built up from its humble roots to a bustling success of buying and trading of the different aquatic life that can be found all over. The massive lake that the industry was built on the coast of is the only place allowed. Too much noise and disturbance would cause most of the trade to die out and thus this coast will never grow larger than it already has. The boats have nothing to power them other than the labor of those that wish to use them and the daily catches could never be larger.

Dubbed the garden by many of the residents in Tensei, Latimer owns the most land of any other individual. Villager legends say Latimer's family had been growing crops throughout Tensei before there were even mountains, though that couldn't be possible. The garden spans several miles and is said to be worked by hundreds of different people who had made the trek over the mountains, into the region and who desired never to leave the peaceful life behind. Wages are simple here and are nothing more than food for eating, trading or selling.

The Path that Leads Up

If the path is chose, the path of danger and risk, it takes a long and grueling hour to reach this point. The weather is all but clear within the eye of the storm and the cascade of beauty shines across the sky to this hidden monastery which is lit with the fury of the Sun that never scorches the inhabitants. An unknown phenomenon that has yet to be explained by the monk-like people of the temple called Zancudo. Legend tells of a monk who first founded the hidden grove on the mountain and who has been watching over it for generations. It is said he is an immortal wise man who provides council only to those strong enough to best him in single combat.

The Path that Leads Inside

Those that choose to seek the knowledge of the temple, rather than defeat the legendary monk have a selection of books, scrolls and information of the world that could not be acquired in one lifetime. Unfortunately the books are not sorted by any method of ease and finding the information needed would require years beyond comprehension. If one is able to find the information they are looking for, it would be scattered between various sources. All of the items in this grand collection appear to be handwritten which combines two dialects- One of this world and one of another.

Further away, in the opposite direction of the nearest town, Masami managed to make her way as close to the nearest mountain range in the area as she could. She didn't select it for any one particular reason, but more so based on the single direction and the fact that there would be a clear stopping point in sight at all times. Looking up at the mountain range, from the distance, she took notice of a faint path that looked as though it had been traveled a few times before. She noted this fact to herself and made a mental reminder that this was a path she was interested in at a later time. For now, she would wander around the area and take in the sights. Along the way, Masami had uncovered different encampments that were built for various types of civilizations. Some seemed friendly and others seemed not so inviting. These choices gave her a desire to explore and learn about the different types of people that lived here. She needed supplies and she needed them to be regular shipments to the orphanage and estate. She brought a few items to trade if her ryo did nothing for her. The downside to trading was that she would give away her business.

For the first day, Masami took her time and explored the vast open area of the different farming villages that she passed by. They weren't much, but she stopped by to speak with one of the farmers anyway. They talked for a few minutes about the weather, the people and the season. Apparently the rainy season was late and the crops weren't growing as great as they had in the past, but things were looking up. Clouds in the distance seemed thicker than the ones overhead and that meant a more than likely harvest for them in the coming months. She inquired more and eventually asked where someone would go looking for a stable export of various vegetables and meats through the entire year. She explained that she ran an orphanage with more than twenty children currently. The farmer just shook his head and told her that there was probably no one right now that could fulfill that kind of a request with the late rains. He advised her to go further north to the plantation. They usually grew larger quantities throughout the seasons to have extra for selling or trading. He advised her it was probably the best she was going to find without traveling to another region. Masami thanked the farmer for his advisement and went her way to scouting the surrounding area first.

A few miles to the east lead the young shinobi to a well fortified encampment that had several tents within it. In the center, from what she could tell, at the distance she was perched out, appeared to be wooden cages and a bonfire burning to keep them warm. Masami took a while to recon the area. After slowly making her way around the encampment, she noticed that there were only two ways in and out, due to the height of the wooden walls they had constructed and it appeared that they were building up for permanent residence. She waited patiently for a few hours as guard changes took place and dialogue gave away a few of their plans. It appeared that these bandits, for lack of a better term, wished to set up their own slave trading in the area. The young shinobi wondered how well she could profit from something like that with her experiments. A while longer and she decided to leave them be. Harming their operations would leave her with no avenue for finding subjects and revealing herself to be that person would result in her having to either kill everyone that had known her or paying someone else to do it for her. Right now, there still hadn't been any reason to go either route. She needed to keep up appearances until she had the capital to have her own town built. It would allow her to hide within plain sight much easier, especially as time went along.

Moving more south now, than east, Masami went looking for anything else she could find that might be of use to her. It took much longer of a walk but she managed to come across a small coastal town that had more amenities than anywhere else she had been in this land. There was town square, what seemed to be a central building for the governing family and several different shops and homes scattered about. There were no walls around this town, but she did notice several people who looked to be wearing the same garb and weaponry. She was looked over as she entered, but no one gave her trouble. Her first stop was a store that sold generalized merchandise. She perused the wares as she considered the opportunity here. This seemed like the kind of place she wanted surrounding the estate and orphanage. She brought a couple of items of food and drink to the shopkeeper and asked questions on regular shipments. She would be met with short answers and a hasty transaction which was obvious enough to her that she needed to speak up. She tried her best to clear up the confusion of the conversation and mentioned that she ran an orphanage to the east which had several children she needed to care for, but due to the lack of crops in the area there wasn't enough food to feed them all for the remainder of the season.

The shopkeeper apologized and mentioned that they'd been having trouble with the newly constructed bandit camp who had been hijacking shipments of goods and taking the people transporting as slaves. Masami then mentioned that she had just came from that direction and noticed them as well. She spoke about the things she overheard as she was sneaking by them. Then questions of her travels began and she was forced to explain that she had walked two full days from her orphanage to the mountain range and turned around due to time constraints. The two engaged in conversation long enough that it brought the town guards and they escorted her to the town hall to speak with the one who governed the town. She agreed easily and went with them showing no signs of distress or concern. As they walked, none of the guards spoke to her. They took her to the door of the hall and tried to tie her hands behind her. She refused and even pushed one of them back. As they tried to swarm her, she leaped over the top of them and landed in the large open square that was in front of the town hall. She took a moment and placed both hands out towards them. "If there is something you want to ask, you can do it here and without bindings. Otherwise, I will defend myself. That means I will render each one of you unconscious, one at a time, until you stop pursuing me."

Someone laughed from the other side of the group and the guards began to move aside. The voice appeared to be coming from the man walking closer to her, now centered between all the guards. More guards were coming from the other parts of the town to completely surround her. "I was going to ask for your help, but someone informed me that they heard you came from the camp that has been raiding our shipments. So now I'm going to have you killed." He waved his left hand towards her and the guards began to rush her. Masami held out her right hand and summoned the katana to it in an instant. She blocked one attack at a time with it, but used her left hand to send chakra out against them. The guards were definitely not shinobi, or trained to deal with on, and quickly went down from a single strike. They weren't rendered unconscious, but they were weakened significantly. It was only a matter of moments before she had taken down seven guards and the man who mentioned having her killed a moment ago called off his guards. Masami remained in her fighting stance whether things continued or not. "That's enough!" he boomed out to them all. "If you men can't take down one girl, then this whole town is doomed." Masami sighed heavily as she had never been treated in such a way for her gender, but moved herself to her normal standing position. "I don't know what you plan to do, but if you provide me with regular shipments of food and water, or even work hands to grow my own fields, I will deal with whatever problem you have with the encampment nearby."

The man laughed with his booming voice once again and declined her offer. The look on his face was one of pure hatred for her. He was about to speak out against her, it looked like, so she countered her offer quicker. "Or, I could kill you, take over this town, and do as I please from here on out. I'd be fair to these townspeople. It doesn't appear you have been with the state of your home and your clothing compared to theirs." The man yelled out and commanded the guards to kill her again, but they didn't move. The guards took steps back away from the man and one, adorned in clothing that seemed to put him above the others, motioned towards the loud man. Masami nodded her head and moved towards the man. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I AM YOUR LORD! YOU WILL DO AS I SA- Masami dashed forward with lightning speed and ran her katana through his chest. She placed her left hand over his mouth to keep him from causing more of scene than he had and his body slowly released the breath of life it once had and for the last time. After he was completely on the ground, she wiped her blade and hand off on his regal outfit and stood to her feet. "If he was your lord, then that means you were his slaves. I don't desire that kind of leadership. I will do what I can to lead you when you need it, but you are free to do as you wish and this town is yours. Please go tell everyone what has happened here."

The guards did not move until the fancier dressed guard motioned for them to move out. He stayed to speak with her and she with him. She told him that they could actually do as they pleased and that she was just here to pay for constant supplies to feed her orphanage to the east. He mentioned moving them here, but she shook her head. It was too far for children to travel and their forest was actually a good place to hide their home. The town here, she explained, was not well defended from shinobi, or bandits, apparently, and because of that she didn't wish to impose anything on them. She asked for any advice they could give on a place that might be able to supply food for the orphanage and the town guard leader mentioned that they could put her orphanage in the supply line if she could deal with the bandits. And so Masami thought about the task before her if she agreed. She would definitely create problems for herself if she took down all the bandits, but she would also acquire a supply line of food. The conditions were weighed and she agreed, but on another condition added to it. She requested a unit to train with ninjutsu. She explained that the area around her estate had fears of rogue village shinobi that were as skilled as herself and that the only way she would allow a supply line to come near her orphanage was if they had the skills to defend the shipment. [92]

Finally, the guard introduced himself as Saitou Tsuguwara and asked that he be one of the first members of this new unit so that he could be the one to teach the others. She somewhat agreed and explained the process to him. It would take place another time. She needed to wipe out the bandits first. She needed to return to the orphanage within the next four days as this one was approaching nightfall already.

Night time had finally arrived and Masami was already hidden inside of some tall grass and bushes on the outside of the bandit's camp. She had listened to their conversation and interactions as they went about their day. She could tell that they were indeed one group, but she never got the indication that they were apart of something larger. She knew that each person would have to be taken care of and the hardest part of this whole thing was that she needed to collect living bodies to use in her experimentations. Being silent and keeping everyone unaware of the bodies she left behind was going to take much more planning on her part. Masami knew that to make this successful, with the resources and techniques she had at her disposal, she was going to need a single kunai to block any oncoming weaponry and a firm strike at the neckline to render them unconscious as she moved about through the camp. Hiding the body each time was going to cut down on her timing. Luckily it seemed as if none of the bandits were ninja, so this was going to be a little easier because of it.

It was time. The guard change was happening and she would be able to take the exchanging conversation between the two tired guards and the two fresh guards to her advantage. WIthout revealing herself to either party, she would toss a rock to the far left side and get them all to pause. The sound of the rock hitting the bushes on the other side caused them to look over, but since nothing had been happening all day, she more or less just looked for the moment. Masami, however, used this quick moment to strike. She dashed towards them, no weapon in hand, and struck them with enough force against their necks, starting with the back row of the two, to knock them unconscious. They dropped to the ground with a thud which caused the others to start turning around. But they were too slow with their reactions to stop the female's quick assault. Using her unique fighting style of her clan, she hit them both with enough chakra to put them to sleep. And since no one was near enough to see them go down, she quickly sealed the four bodies into her scrolls which she hid in her cloak.

The next phase of this assault was going to be the many different close positions of the bandits inside. There weren't more than twenty of them, but with them being in such close proximity to one another, Masami found herself trying to figure out ways to create distractions without giving herself away. There had been enough of them that if they were to attack her all at once, she would have to resort to killing a few of them and that would halter her capital gain and her trials for experimentation. For now, she'd use the environment around her to her advantage and try to use the aspects of nature to distract those around each portion of the camp. For one group, she grabbed one's leg as they walked by some thick bushes and caused them to trip to make the others laugh and disregard the show. As soon as this happened, Masami pulled them in and sealed them away. Luckily for her, the technique itself wasn't much of a noticeable display -- unlike unsealing something.

In another zone, she used wires to bump two of the bandits together and cause them to fall on the ground. One was out like a light, the other complained, leaving his unconscious buddy to lie on the ground as he went to get 'something to drink.' Masami looked around and saw this was her chance to take him next. It took quite a long time for the young shinobi to take out each bandit, one at a time, in most cases. However, she had managed to get every single one. And she sighed a breath of relief until she found the supplies and the slaves and began to release them. It was then that Masami got the worst news of all. One of the slaves mentioned a group of rogue ninja from the land of water that were using these bandits to collect certain supplies for them without drawing the attention of any of the hidden village shinobi and the leadership of the daimyo. The young hyuuga tried not to worry about it until another mentioned that they arrived at the encampment in the mornings to check on things. They were usually in pairs of two and did not seem to wield any kind of weaponry.

Masami assumed that those rogue ninja were just overconfident in their abilities and tried to not worry about such things with her skillset, but as the first light lifted from the hillside, so did two shadowy figures walking down the path to this camp. She told the villagers to take what they could carry and head back to the town. She said that she would be fine and that there was no need to worry. But little did Masami know, these two rogue ninja were going to be very bad news for her and that he odds of her successfully surviving this encounter were going to deal with some revealing details. Nonetheless, she sprang into action and began to set up traps of her own and explosive tags to try and create a distraction to deal with the rogues to where she could acquire useful test subjects, unlike the others she would just be using for parts and trials.

The two rogues wandered into her first trap and the wires pulled shuriken towards them and one stepped in front of the other and repelled the weapons without using anything other than a unique ability. It was almost like a chakra-based shield, from what she could understand. But neither of them truly seemed to raise their guard. They continued walking through the camp looking to see if anyone was around. The one who could deflect attacks with chakra seemed to be leading the way and none of Masami's traps were doing much for her. Assuming the one doing nothing was fairly less powerful, she tried to get the jump on him, but was quickly knocked back with speed much higher than hers. Masami was slammed against a large tree trunk and lifted herself up to meet the eyeline of the two before her. They both wore outfits that resembled one another, but were slightly different. Both were male and one appeared to be smoking. The smoke was not moving the way typical smoke should have, though. It moved to wrap itself around the male's body and that was when Masami learned of how he was deflected attacks. The other seemed to have a piercing white gaze, in his left eye, that looked right through her body. Masami knew that eye more than anything else in the world. This man was a member of the hyuuga clan, but it had looked like he had only one eye.

Masami dusted herself off and adjusted her cloak on her shoulders as she faced the two of them. She positioned her body in the unique fashion of the gentle fist style and took a few steps forward to distance herself from the tree. The one with the white eye gently laughed as she stepped forward with no stance at all. His partner did not move, yet he moved so casually toward Masami. She moved to strike with the introduction of the palm strikes, but was met with the same exact movements and they were much stronger. She couldn't tell if he was using chakra to block her tenketsu, but the sheer force of his impacts pushed her back ever so slightly. It didn't even seem like she was going to be able to combat him enough to make it seem that they were equal. So the young shinobi put some distance between the two and began to perform hand seals. All of a sudden, the man's right eye opened to a glowing crimson hue and began performing the same hand seals, but faster. At the same time, the two of them unleashed the same fireball technique towards each other. They both made contact and exploded out in all directions. Masami was thrown back again, but managed to catch herself. The male rogue ninja did not seem to have moved much at all and his crimson gaze was all but gone. She must have imagined it, but she wouldn't give up.

She dashed towards the man again and summoned her katana into her hand. Quickly she was thwarted by the man's kunai in his left hand and suddenly kicked in the stomach. The man covered in smoke was then suddenly behind her. He grabbed both of her wrists and she flipped forward to break his grip. She felt the release and once again aimed to stab the male hyuuga before her. She brought her left hand up from her side, that had just dropped explosive tags and the male hyuuga's right eye opened once again to reveal the crimson burning gaze of the Sharingan of the Uchiha clan. The explosive tags that she had just dropped exploded behind her and she tried to look away from the eyes of the Sharingan. However, it didn't seem as though she was affected by genjutsu. Nothing had changed. She leaped over the man to try and run away until she had stopped in mid air with both wrists and ankles bound at the same time. She looked around as best as she could, but as soon as she saw her right hand covered with a tree branch, she assumed it to be genjutsu and bit onto her lip until it bled and dripped from her face. Nothing changed and a chuckle came from behind her. "Sorry, girlie, but the two of us use more than one clans worth of abilities. You don't stand a chance. Use your byakugan or die here."

Masami struggled with all her might, but she truly couldn't react to anything, or even escape the binding technique. She couldn't even believe that the two of these men could use more than one clan ability at the same time. It seemed almost impossible to do so. She didn't want to say anything, but the hyuuga male said so first. "She knows the gentle fist, but it seems she does not possess the byakugan. She's merely a tool of the nearby town. She's not worth the trouble on. We'll report our findings." He began to leave as his partner threw Masami over to one side and huffed. "Whatever you say, partner." Masami hadn't been wounded enough to warrant death, but the overall disappointment with herself was far from going anywhere. She watched the two of them leave as quickly as they had arrived and she felt powerless more so than the first time she had been cast out of her own home.

For the time being, she could return to the town and claim the spoils of what they believed her to achieved. But it seemed the fight against other shinobi was going to require a lot more training on her part. She was far from capable it seemed and had only come to test herself on those of a lower class than she was. It seemed that the goal she had to build up the orphanage and train herself on experimentation was such a low bar to set. Masami would have to continue to experiment, but she would need to do so with the intent of giving herself more abilities and trying to regain the one she had been born with. The man who had copied and defeated her with ease, using her own techniques, would be her new goal. She needed to regain her byakugan and she also needed to find an Uchiha to experiment on in order to acquire the Sharingan. She knew of it from the stories of which clan had been stronger. The Sharingan could literally copy techniques that it could see taking place. Though the byakugan could see the chakra network and even peer through solid objects, the Sharingan was said to have unique abilities that surpassed the byakugan too. She would try to place those thoughts in the back of her mind as she moved back towards the town and the reward of no longer worrying about the children in the orphanage. Now she would take herself to new places and discover new heights to where her abilities could go. It would take more than she had given to reach the level of the two rogue shinobi. She didn't even know if she would be able to do it on her own, but she did feel a pull towards the mountains, even now. She felt like there was something there that she could find to elevate herself. It was her next stop. [104]

Deep within the mountain range of the demon country lies a hollow mountain. No one has ventured near such mountain, and what lies within the mountain has been lost to time. The single mountain seems to have a storm brewing over it at all times, dark and ominous clouds that seem to throw lightning into the stone of the mountain. Typically people do not want to go here...only the bravest of souls make their way here. Perhaps for games, tests of bravery, how far up the mountain can you get before you can no longer continue?

The farther up the mountain you go the more frequent the strikes of lightning become. The darker it becomes, harder to breath, and more. No one's reached the top...much to a certain someone's dismay. At the very top of the mountain there is a cave, hidden in the ominous clouds that shroud the mountain's peak. Within the cave is a path, some might call it winding others would call the path a series of zigging and zagging almost as if the path through the caves was that of a bolt of lightning. At the bottom of the dark caves...a glowing barrier surrounded by 5 pedestals. Each pedestal with a different object floating just above it. Water floating and flowing within itself, a flame burning brightly, a ghostly looking human skull, a pomegranate, and ancient but intact scale.

However perhaps the most interesting thing about the barrier...is what resided inside it. A man...his hair a blue almost lightning like color that drooped lifelessly. His body physically fit, but his expression that of anguish and agony. Perhaps not in pain, but definitely not happy to be here. His clothing was nothing like what one might see today...maybe? He was not completely sure of what the fashion of todays people is. He wouldn't even be sure what today's people are...who they are...when they are. The concept of time lost to this man as he had been here so long and chose to not keep count for his own sanity. Knowing the length of time he was stuck here would surely have driven him insane. However he lay on the floor, pointing his fingers at different areas of the cave he was stuck in due to this god-forsaken....well that's not necessarily true....barrier.

ooc: So! It's up to you who you're gonna use, how you want to go about finding this place, what reasons they have for being here whatever. I'll just roll with it, most likely Zeus will see whoever it is that is showing up and ask them to free him and explain how to do it or something!

▰ |SHINOBI • INFO| ▰
• Lilou Laflamme | B | Genin | puppeteer | scholar | Origami
Appearance: Black and white hair. wearing something akin to whats in picture with a yellow and black Sage coat overtop, big scroll on back.

During the spiritual journey of the new sage of the rainbow forest, Lilou was travelling around the world in an attempt to hand out some good deeds and learn what it was to “be a sage”, despite her status as a genin she had legally gained this time off in part as a result of the attack on Arashi. Ending out here was simply how it was, having heard of a monster plaguing some of the mountains local valley towns, Lilou of coarse intended to stop anymore said deaths from occurring as a whim and boy did she have little idea as to how to go about this. Why this might be could possibly be something toward the idea that it could be hiding in one of ANY number of so many potential mountains and Lilou honestly didn’t have the time to check with every town on the creatures movements, separate fact from fiction and then calculate its potential location. Thus she had to do a terrible option, guesswork and gut work that would offer one incredibly logical choice... choose the scariest mountain and work your way down.... if this flying serpent was as scary as the folks claimed then it would make sense it would have an equally intimidating territory, at least in Lilou’s point of view.

How did this spectacular hunt for this creature go you may be asking, the answer of which will become apparent but for the details.... one might wish to look elsewhere as if searching through memories in time. For today we shall be looking away from said event to something that took place shortly after these events, likely with a much larger worldwide impact than the exhaustive experience she had just endured. A batterer and bruised Lilou lay atop the sinister mountain that she had not actually scaled voluntarily, having been dragged up into its cloud covered heights in a manner most unpleasant whilst fighting the beast that did dwell upon the mountain and knew to use it to great effect, who could guess that this decision would serve the exact opposite purpose as to this monsters reason to be. The young shinobi’s chest rose and fell with laboured breathing, warm sweat covering her face and cooled down rapidly in the unkind environment. The air was thin and unfriendly for someone who couldn’t use wind natured chakra and there was no trust in resting out here exposed to the hostility of this movie worth death mountain, especially considering she wasn’t in top form.

A sense of urgency crept out from the back of Lilou’s mind, currently focused on pain and relief she was still alive. The sense of urgency was brought on by the fact she wasn’t actually safe at the time being, the fact that she couldn’t breathe properly becoming very apparent quite suddenly. Slowly from her back did Lilou begin to turn, her hair scattering in the wind wildly by the time she got to her knees and tried to look around to gauge how to go about descending the mountain. The one word that could be used to describe what her eyes took in would be the very simple word “cloud.” Umouuuu why did I expect to see anything other than nothing, this isn’t helpful at all.... am I trapped up here, I don’t wanna be trapped up here! She thought to her self and sighing due to the dismal nature of her situation, crossing her arms across her chest and looking toward her knees as she closed her squinting eyes. Just then lightning shriek through the sky so close and so loudly that Lilou might have screamed, although if she had done so the sound of the thunder would prevent any from knowing. Jolting in the opposite direction of the flash in momentary, nigh abject terror and shock from the sudden and extremely intense disruption to her train of though. Lilou’s heart almost jumped out her mouth as an increasing uncomfortable amount of butterflies swarmed in her stomach as for some reason she fell longer than she should have, balling and tensing up as she believed she might have just jumped off the edge and was in some serious trouble.

The searing sensation of sudden pain accompanying uneasy rock greeted her a second or so after she had the feeling that she was going off the edge, her body crashing and rolling down a slight decline which didn’t lead to imminent doom in the form of a shear drop. Fresh injuries and cuts beating a dumb at a steady rate, the rhythm of there tune something Lilou could not ignore as she sat up fast and cliched at her arching body, rocking back and forth while gritting her teeth, eye closed fight with tears forming as she attempted to bear through it. The ghastly grip of fear slowly lessened along with the throbbing pain, Lilou attempting to make out where she was by looking around and again being met with mostly darkness. Thus by summoning forth a torch that was quickly buckled the the neckline of her shirt and with a small metallic click did light pierce through the darkness and illuminate where she currently resides. Ohhhh evergreen please tell me over not stumbled into some haunted mountain! She thought to herself nervously, swallowing and breathing hard as her eye absorbed in the dark cavern along with its contents. Bones littered the paths start and it quickly became clear that THIS is where typon and its collected meals did reside, likely only its prey could make it up such a perilous journey if something like it also called the mountain home. Everything was hazy from the clouds and the whistle and rustling the wind brought with it would cause the hairs on the back of her head stand on end, brining on a shiver that would pass through the her body and make her hug herself and glance about nervously.

This is anything but where I wanted to be.... I wish I didn’t have to try and rest in such a creepy location, Its also wet and windy here which might work against any efforts to recuperate. Hey Lilou why don’t you try going further into the creepy cave, I’m sure the risk is worth getting out of the wind and rain, Totally no red flags raised if I go deeper in, Nope nope nope! She though to herself with overblown sarcasm and with the understanding it was for the best, even if it was the last thing she wanted to do at this moment but it was likely the right choice. Lilou silently swore that she’d brave climbing down the outside if a voice other than her own thoughts breached this silence, weird haunted caverns were not fun without friends to accompany oneself and Lilou was a rather superstitious individual that wasn’t down with this one gal test of courage. Still she shook the fears and foreboding feelings, fighting to force flight from the ominous cavern and strode forth, one reluctant foot after the other toward the depths of this cavern.

After a good while of following a single route that didn’t like to be straight forward, making her unable to tell how far it actually led due to the path Zigzagging with an intentional feeling design to it. The Lilou was standing totally straight and at her full height due to being at alert, one hand pressed against the side of her light to turn it as needed so she could illuminate and keep an eye out for any hazards or alternative routes. Just as she seemed to be reaching a widening in the cavern she would be gifted the wonderful inconvenience of the lightbulb dying for no good of a reason, Lilou almost leaping out of her skin as a result and needing to catch her balance in the pitch dark. No, it was not pitch dark, her perception of the matter was wrong... there was a small amount of light from within the deeper cave which there shouldn’t be. The light that came was unnatural and not of a normal light source and her fear of ghosts and ghouls came resisting with a vengeance, should she venture forth or should she turn back... one direction watch pitch dark and the other held the unknown and not misplaced fear to go with it.

(Ooc: . Right, the guardian of the entrance which im gonna name typon and make serpentine to go with the Olympian aesthetic your character follows, being as typhon did hold zues prisoner for a while and was a serpentine titan. The one she dealt with isn’t quite the same or as epic but hell, she oi gonna jail someone, you need a jailer. The jailers food supplies in the local area have dwindled for such a large and old creature and so I made itself know in the recent years, which led to this. This should be a good enough arrival post, she’s right outside the chamber with his prison, the bulb popped and before hand a beam of strong light would have filled the chamber!)

Sounds? Zeus hadn't heard sound in who knows how long. Well not really anyways, there was always the sounds of rock cracking and crumbling sometimes and originally not annoying hum of the barrier around him that after experiencing it for so long got on his nerves. Maybe someone was around, someone finally entered the cave maybe. If so perhaps they would be able to help him, but of course he would need to sound crazy. Shouting into nothing asking for help that wouldn't come....but what did that matter. If no one was around then he'd only sound crazy to himself, if someone was around then he'd maybe finally get help.

The man locked away would stand, moving to the edge of the barrier and placing his hands on it to lean as close as he could. He was glad his siblings were kind enough to simply make it a barrier that didn't harm him for touching it, just one he couldn't get through. Then he would take a deep breath and shout. "HELLO?! SOMEONE HELP ME?" His voice was deep and some might even call it thunderous, and he waited for an answer if it were to ever come.

[ooc: That's fine! I'll probably say he didn't know that it existed, like they added it without his knowledge after they made the barrier. ]

• Lilou Laflamme | B | Genin | puppeteer | scholar | Origami
Appearance: Black and white hair. wearing something akin to whats in picture with a brown trench coat on top, headband around neck.

As she eyes the ever so slightly illuminated cavern and deliberated her next action, of coarse working very hard to remain stationary due to having some serious heebie jeebies. This train of though was quite suddenly distracted by a scuffling noise from the opening, said sound making Lilous blood run cold as she tried to make next to no movement, breathing short and shallow, eyes wide and plastered on the opening as her pupils shrank. All the tension and superstitious fear in the pause that came brought with it a momentary relief, Lilou almost getting to the point where she was away to think she had being silly and was hence, at her most vulnerable. Then the caverns were filled with an enormous and booming, nay thunderous sound, almost like thunder from outside had begun within the cavern and caused her heart to basically go on pause and her mind to take a tea break due to the tension. As she fell to her knees did she flail her arms in a panic and stretch her mouth open wide in a emotionally charged silent scream, not releasing a sound despite this fact, ever the astute mime even in moments of terror.

Hellloooo Lilou it’s the fricking grudge, no the candy man, a Yokai. Ohhh god maybe it’s gonna steal my youth? I’m to young to be old I can’t let that happen, ohhhh at least nobody will find and see me like that... wait no one will find me, that’s even worse, Aghhhhhhh She rapidly thought as she flailed in a manner that she would soon realize made her seem like a total moron, though right now the biggest problem was her legs turning to water and some terrifying yelling voice, she wanted to call for help. “Help” the trigger word rather through her jittering mind as the horror stricken girls began to find some rationale.... she was in fact a shinobi and could generally handle herself in most compromising on states. One breathe, two breathe, three big breathes..... She managed to calm herself down a little, eyes closed and thinking of being at home with her dad as a way to ground herself. Eyes reopening with reluctant determination Lilou would literally crawl toward the opening on all fours as quietly as she could, one to try and stay quiet but more so because her legs hadn’t regained their strength from the sudden fright, combine with her prior fatigues and so she’d need a bit of time to stop shaking to find any strength to stand up again.

Lilou slowly peered into the dimly illuminated room having reached the edge of its entrance, tentatively on edge as she went about this and almost cursing her nature to never, ever refuse the use the mighty H word... help! Humming inside her own head to distract herself for the tension, Lilou picked up on something as she did this, head snapping around to look at what she noticed and a sense of mild relief coming over her combine with concern. The active chakra signal that drew the attention from her eyes was of someone alive.... being a relief because it struck down to thought of ghosts, well reduced it at any measure as now she knew someone else was here, in need of help and trapped. In the other end she was concerned as to what she was even looking at, what was this place, why was there a man trapped in a barrier, who was he and who put him here and possibly the biggest question, Should he be trapped? The barrier was also something of a mystery as she didn’t understand the chakra she sensed at all, it was to esoteric and didn’t appear to follow fundamental rules as she would have been able to dig up more than “it’s a barrier” if it did. This is insane, what is going on here it doesn’t add up, Ive never heard of something like this place as all, it’s so... so FASCINATING! She though to herself and smiled while sucking her own lips inward a little and rolling an eye upward as if to look at the image of the thoughts or idea of what this place could mean or teach her welled up within her.

She quite literally zoomed into the room and up to the man standing at the barrier who about caused her to faint with his yell, the strength returning to her legs as a result of immense curiosity. The guys first notable feature being that he made Lilou look short, which she was far from in any case... her was also probably quite good looking but she immediately removed such thoughts for later as there was much more interesting things about him than that. Otherwise there was his unnaturally bluish hair and striking and almost glowing blue eyes.... or maybe the fact Lilou couldn’t peg his age or maybe the fact he looked perfectly healthy physically speaking, meaning he should only have been here for a while.... the formation of rock changes over time being impeded by the barrier deeming this as impossible.... this dude/cave was all a big enigma. Lilou withdrew her Cellphone(as Arashi has these) while holding a finger toward the man she was eyeing with intense curiosity, a level of apprehensive uncertainty along with a note of focus.

”Hello, Tall sir. You are trapped in here and called for help. Who are you? Why are you here? Are you harmed? Depending on your answers I will consider helping you if I can and also depending on if I am even able to do so.” The words would come out, enthusiastic and yet greatly lacking in any emotion and with a small mechanical twang to it, her phone would speak, the voice was Female and lacked any inflections that Lilou might hope it held. After the phone said it’s but, Lilou staring at the device as it spoke before turning toward the made and cocking her head and an eyebrow, mouthing the word “Well?” Silently at him. Before he could answer she snapped her hand up with a raised finger and looked back to the screen of the phone, the girl tapping away at it for a few seconds before it spoke up a little more, the girl offering an enthusiastic smile as it did so ”Apologies, I asked you name and didn’t give my own, I am Lilou Laflamme! Now please, explain!” A tip of her head in a small bow as she would slowly lean back and sit down as if she had a chair begin her, a near translucent glow appearing in the shape of a basic seat that appeared to support her weight, Lilou giving an expectant nod as if to say she was ready. She wasn’t so sure of how much of a mess she might look at the moment and that she might come off like some odd loon to a man deprived of social contact for so long, although the oddball here would likely be one of the people most likely to grant him immediate and long term aide when made aware of his plight, although might mess around while doing so(maybe when I injured).

Zeus was about ready to give up on his idea of there being a person when suddenly a woman walked up to the barrier before him. How fitting, a woman, Zeus' favorite thing. It was clear she was normal from how she appeared to Zeus. Perhaps even having no relation to his siblings at all. Perfect, the man thought to himself as he watched the girl pull out some mysterious contraption as far as he was concerned and begin tip-tapping away at the thing. It was weird, nothing like he had ever seen, then the contraption began to make noise...speak even. Although he couldn't quite figure out why or how it sounded different than a normal voice. Was the girl incapable of speaking and used this thing to talk? Her mouth moving as if to say the word 'Well' made Zeus feel as though that was exactly what the case was. Regardless, Zeus now had a bunch of questions he had to answer from the girl. However before he could answer them, he was cut off by the tip-tapping of her fingers on her contraption once more. If anything, Zeus had remained quiet for the duration of her tapping. He was arrogant, but he felt it would be unfair to be able to interrupt her and speak so easily while she tried to do this...weird kind of speaking.

Having given him her name after apologizing for not doing so first Zeus crossed his arms over his chest and stood looking down towards the small figure that stood...sat...on the other side of this barrier. "Hello, Small woman. You are correct I am and I did. My name is Zeus. My siblings decided to betray me and seal me inside of this mountain. No I am not harmed." He said, almost replicating the structured questions with his answers before pausing for a moment. "So, Lilou, if these answers are sufficient I'd like you to free me now. I've been here for quite some time and it gets lonely and good food is a luxury I've been missing out on for centuries now." He explained pretty normally as his body would shift into a position where he would be sitting on the floor with his legs cross now as well. His eyes would close and he would begin thinking of something, he hadn't thought much about exactly how to get past the barrier. He had never had anyone who might have been able to do such in the first place. No contact for who knows how long.

Zeus' head would nod and he would speak. "Yes yes, that might work." He said to himself, although audibly to which Lilou would be able to hear. "My siblings are not particularly...diligent except one of them. The pedestal with fire on it probably is indestructible...the water will probably keep flowing even after the pedestal for that is broken...if you break all the pedestals that are able to be broken then put the water on the flame it should make the barrier disappear." He explained, although still unsure himself. He did know that his siblings, even when they worked together, never really thought things through together.

watching the big man cross his arms across his chest as he began to speak, Lilou gave a polite and placid smile to indicate she was listening and to mask her immediate annoyance at being referred to as “Small Woman,” regardless of the comparative truth in the words. The mans answers were short and too the point, lacking any form elaboration or off topic comments. Lilou would lean back in the quasi-real chair she’d mimed into existence, trying to absorb the comment alluding to being trapped here for centuries as best she could, was this strangely named Zues fellow immortal or something? Out of habit she started to sign her thoughts out loud, likely just looking like hand motions and even if he knew of sign language, his would be immensely outdated. Lets see here, stuck in her by siblings, heart rate indicates no lying and dude doesn’t have that “crazy” look that isolation normally causes and yet I see no companionship pictures like the famous Wilson.... geh let’s take a look at these seals. Is what she though and what her hands motions would translate to if comprehensible, finally mimicking unfolding and placing glasses on her face as Zues sat down to think about how she could make his request happen.

Lilou got up as Zues began speaking his thoughts on the barrier as Lilou’s silly motions triggered a strong sensory Jutsu based around identifying and garnering information about nearby seals. The information she got was unreasonable and exactly what she expected.... old, likely out of her scope and probably very advanced, Lilou unconvinced simply destroying the pedestals would work. She starred for a while as she considered all of the objects in front of this barrier and decided that there had to be a trick to this other than destruction, theorizing that destruction might not even end the barrier and that the suggested approach was to simple and decided to go with her guess. There was a trick here, it was a puzzle and she believed that she could solve it. Lilou would grab the pomegranate and a kunai from a pocket, stabbing the fruit and crushing its inner contents into the floating water that would quickly turn crimson as the pulp mixed into it. The skin she peeled into two parts and walked toward the ghostly skull, leering at it with an uncomfortable pause as she didn’t want to really try touching the thing. She looked to Zues and held up a finger and pointed at her eyes then at the skull, telling him to “watch this” with the motion as she waved her hand through the skull to demonstrate its ethereal form, then holding a piece of the fruits skin out to demonstrate each step and hint at what she was going to to, reaching the skin toward the skulls mouth and throwing it into the recess of the skulls mouth.

At that point the skull would vibrate and quite miraculously become solid, making a think as it landed on the pedestal and making Lilou skid backward dramatically in surprise and because she thought it was gross and creepy. The girl very reluctantly lifted up the skull after a few seconds of psyching herself up and then standing as far away as she could from it and dramatically stretch her arms to their limits to grasp the object with the tips of her fingers, mouthing silent words of disapproval as she placed the skull inside the crimson water. This is so grosssssss, why do I gotta be right about this, stupidly brilliant me using obscure, old beliefs to solve this.... water’s the blood and fruit is the flesh right? Omg that’s creepy! The thoughts were distracted by the skull absorbing the red water and being dyed as a result, a lot more colour absorbed than it actually should have. The chakra in the room had shifted enough for her to notice, giving her the confidence to keep going, even if it made her uncomfortable. Taking the skull in one hand and collecting the feather within the other she would first place the feather on one end of the scale and allow it to finish any tilting the light object caused, which’s weight was more effect than it had any right to. Next came the skull which she of coarse placed on the opposite side carefully, then stepping back as she released them so their weights could be compared, Lilou walking up to Zues as she tapped on the phone so she could inform him of what she was doing.

”So this seems to be a weird spiritual metaphor on the cycle of life! The fruit represents a persons flesh and water their blood... the skull being introduced representing life. Now check out that feather, it is somehow heavier than the skull and I bet that if I break that skull, this won’t be the case anymore and the scales will shift, I think as a representation of judgement of your soul at death or something like that. I think after that I just gotta burn the feather and you should be free!” The phone churned the words out as she cracked her knuckles meaningfully, although almost pointlessly as a few sheets of paper folded out from her body as her choice method of destruction. The three sheets didn’t even fold up and that spun and blew past the skull on the scales, the skeletal object splitting horizontally and vertically in multiple spots as it would shiver and collapse. Then just as she said the scales would slowly begin to shift, until finally the skull fragments were shown to outweigh the feather, which would suddenly shift from white to black as the old chakra involved in this puzzle passed into the feather. Lilou would gingerly lift the feather and give Zues a purposeful look as she marched over to the flame and held up the phone again ”Now if I’m correct, this should be the last step to free you Mr Seuss(Her phones fault) welcome to the modern world!” The words would drone out as Lilou dropped the feather from above the flame and dropped to the ground all in one motion. The flames would roar up and shoot toward the barrier, revealing elaborate markings within its design that started to shift as cracks would form in the barrier, followed by a loud boom and a discharge of chakra that didn’t throw Lilou away as she already hit the deck, the room being flooded with dust and debris as a result and giving Zues his first taste of free air in eons.

(Ooc: Rofl, I didn’t realize how Zues this guy actually was until you said “A woman, Zues’s favourite thing. Ahhhh that punished my kidneys good. My posting will be faster now for you, like 24hr response time at worst with this, I had some stuff going on that’s not a problem anymore?(It shouldn’t be by Wednesday’s end anyway))

Zeus watched as the woman took her own approach to figuring out the barrier instead of the simple one Zeus mentioned. Well whatever, if she tried something and it worked then good, if it didn't he'd hope she would take his advice. However of course, as she began to do different things, such as mixing the different forms that his siblings placed within the pedestals he became intrigued. She was smart, usually women weren't particularly smart in this regard. At least not what he would call mortal women. Perhaps just that much time had passed. The light blue haired man still trapped stood up once more and followed the woman's movements around at the edge of his barrier. Watching everything she did closely and with as much intrigue as he could. Before she even mentioned it Zeus had realized what was going on from how everything was working together. His only comment about the situation as she tapped away at her speaking contraption to explain what she was doing was, "Of course they would find the motivation to work together when they decide to seal me here. What malakas." A sigh escaping his opened mouth.

However regardless, it was quite nice to have someone show up that was smart enough to figure this all out. He himself could have perhaps if he were in the right mind to and not in a rush to get out of this barrier. Watching more as she began to deal with the final parts of the puzzle she figured out. Zeus nodded, backing away from the barrier a bit before she dropped the feather into the flame. As the flame shot at the barrier, Zeus smiled wide. It was finally happening, he was finally going to be free. The discharge of chakra kicking up a cloud of dust and debris would shroud the barrier as it slowly faded away from it's position. Zeus would take in a deep breath....only to start coughing moments later as he had just inhaled quite a large amount of dust. As the dust faded however, Zeus seemed...different. His light blue hair seemed to practically glow with a bright white light almost, crackling with lightning much like the rest of his body was as well. His eyes would glow in the same way. Despite coughing he was smiling, even the inhalation of dust couldn't put him down from this monumental moment for him.

Zeus would walk forwards, taking a few steps until he was just beyond the scorch-like circular mark on the ground that was indication of where the barrier once stood. The excitement on his face was obvious. He would then turn his attention to the woman who had helped him. Making his way over to her, and extending a hand to help her up from her prone position "I thank you, Miss Laflamme." While his voice had perhaps sounded a bit more normal before, this time it sounded different. It was loud, and as if it commanded attention. Almost transcendental would be how some could describe it. After he would help the woman up, he would release her hand and begin to stretch. "You deserve a reward. Would you like the honors of bearing my child? He asked first, of course wishing to do something he had not done in....quite a long time. However also, understanding that perhaps she would be put-off by this. She was aware at least he was extremely old, maybe she wouldn't like the idea of being with someone so old even though he did not retain the appearance of someone who was old. "Or, perhaps I shall simply owe you?" He added.

[ooc: lol, yeah he's pretty Zeusy. But also a bit less Zeusy. Also the puzzle idea was cool. I actually never thought about that. I just picked common things associated with Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Hestia, and Hera. xD]

The cacophonous sound and dust wave blew overtop of the girl who’s eyes were squeezed shut and breathe held deep. Opening her eyes to a squint and using one of her hands to wave dust out of her face and making a displeased expression as she couldn’t totally prevent dust from getting in her mouth. The spectacular giant stood at its impressive full height, the man coughing out the dust while grinning which was to say sort of funny even if she could understand why when taking his story at face value, although this didn’t stop it from being kinda hilarious. She offered him a grin and gently took his extended hand to accept the assistance back up to her feet, popping up energetically and dusting herself off after letting him go, granting a gentle bow with one hand put to her chest in the style of a stage performer.

Lilou took a step back and withdrew a scroll as the big man began began to stretch, unrolling it toward the ground so it’d unravel to its limit. Lilou kept an eye on the man politely as he began to speak, summoning up some drinks and some rations and lifting up a bottle while unscrewing the cap to offer it to Zues. The loud clatter of plastic on stone followed by the glug of spilling fluids would fill the cavern as her mouth hung open and face rapidly heated up and ignited from embarrassed shock, mortification stunning her so hard she opened her mouth and almost verbally responded to this. Catching herself before she spoke she flailed her arms out and waved both of her hands and shook her head “no, no, no, no!” Unable to actually to gently refuse said offer, completely baffled of how “let me offer you a reward” could lead to such an proposition and this raising her apprehension some levels.

Her refusal wasn’t anything related to her age and more a matter of the fact she had no interest in the man regardless of his good looks.... that and she had no idea who this was and such matters weren’t something to be taken so trivially in her world. Lilou appeared to clear her throat although without a sound, attempting to recollect herself as he offered a much more reasonable offer in followed up... not like that helped resolve her embarrassment. She collected her phone back from her pocket and tapped in a response, slower than beforehand as she was still sorta put off by the initial offer, it was baffling. ”You can just owe me or something, I didn’t help with any expectations in mind, when I take a hand reaching for help I do so without expectations or rewards.” The voice droned out while she bent over to grab a different sports drink and spun its cap off and placed it beside the tower of a fellow.

Lilou sat down and began to pull out a small burner and some equipment so she could make something to eat, she was drained and handling that puzzle had drained her of the majority of her chakra and combing that with killing the flying serpent, she was running on literal fumes. Also unwilling to reduce to emergency military rations unless absolutely needed she instead put a kettle on a burner and conjured water into it, turning the burner on to boil the water and placed two cup noodles to her side and again holding up her phone. ”Well would you like something to eat, having been stuck so long without any nourishment must have been awful! Would you prefer beef or chicken?” The word would have been tentative and more rigid had she been speaking herself, even through a puppet as prior proposition still had her young mind racing and awkward. She decided to try and distract her thoughts by asking him some prudent questions, so she could grasp whoever exactly this person was at and how our of touch they were, her fingers tapping furiously as the burners breathe added some background static ”So do you know what year, or let’s say Era you are from, if there was a phrase that was widely used to describe that period of time. What were the prominent powers that be, as in countries and leaders if that’s an easier question? Better yet what scientific innovations were recently developed before you were put away, I’m an expert on that subject matter.” The questions really amounted to one question as that was honestly the biggest question besides what he planned to do from here, the girl feeling uncertain about what she might have let free and knowing that the follow up was her responsibility. The preparation of the cup noodles would not take long and Zues would be given the cup of his flavour preference from her two options, the girl signalling to wait a moment as it was hot.

(Ooc: Yeee I noticed the usage and enjoyed it quite a lot, concerned we gonna get all clash of the Titans soon with the arrival of a Zues :p I didn’t notice you’d quoted me, I missed the notification so my bad.))

Zeus watched as the girl seemed to manage to bring forth a series of more new contraptions, also having a bit of a reaction to his question. Not an unexpected one, aside from the near slip of the woman in nearly talking. Her motions indicated that perhaps she did know how to talk however chose to instead not for some reason. She was interesting to say the least, but normal as he expected none-the-less. As she attempted to regain her composure, Zeus chose to sit. As was typical of him interacting with this woman so far and wait for her to respond to him with her little speech device. To which she did and explained she didn't expect rewards for what she did. A bit of a puzzled and questioning look grew upon Zeus' face. That was not usual, everyone always wanted something. Rewards and expectations were the root of everything in the world were they not? Perhaps the world has indeed changed a lot since his imprisonment.

So many things were different about whatever the current time was. She asked if he wanted something to eat as well as placing some liquid in a container at his side. He was sure it was some sort of drink. The food offerings were that of something he didn't quite recognize as a word but he didn't really think much of it. She also used a word that sounded familiar however he wasn't completely sure what it meant. Obviously it was a food...but it was fine. He would just go with the safer option. "Yes, something to eat would be nice...chicken would be preferred." Thinking nothing more of the various things she had, assuming she would be pulling some form of poultry from one of those scrolls she had. Those are at least one thing that hadn't changed. Scrolls were useful...

He watched as she boiled water, and continued to tap away at the contraption she used for speech. Her questions were good ones....He would take a drink of the bottle of liquid she had given him before looking at it for a moment. It was pretty...interesting. He couldn't call it good or bad, but different than anything he had ever tasted before. He was curious about it, but he would have to ask about it later. Her question of the era he belonged to would go unanswered for a while. A thought-filled look on his face as he tried to think of what exactly he could describe for her. She also however handed him one of the cups and stared at it for a moment. Breaking his train of thought. "This...is the poultry you spoke of?" He asked, sniffing at it a bit. "It does not smell or look like any poultry I know of..." He looked at it puzzled. She had signaled it was hot so he would as she recommended wait.

Back to her question though, Zeus was still unsure of how to go about answering it. Some of what she said made sense, but other things she asked about were lost to him. "Well...I made the mountains and skies my home. That is why my siblings chose to confine me to a mountain in the first place. We were the leaders of sections of land, sea, sky, and whatever else we chose to claim. Many mortals looked towards us as gods due to our longevity, however we knew ourselves not to be compared truly to the likes of Evergreen, Jashin, Zelel, and Utu." He spoke, deciding to explain himself and his family more than try to figure out what era he would be from, or a phrase used to describe his time period. "I didn't know much about the mortal civilizations, I barely knew anything about the ones who chose to look towards me for guidance. I am much more free, a lot less bound to the duties of a real leader. I didn't ask to be looked to the way mortals did. However I was considered the head of my family, so I didn't mind it. It allowed me to experience plenty of fun things. I'm not sure about what a scientific innovation is." He explained to her, looked at the cup he was waiting to begin eating still. While he was unsure of what if any of that could be an indication of the era he was from, if she was even a little knowledgeable about religion however she would likely notice a small detail. The lack of mention of the god, Il-Palazzo also known as O-Inari.

She had guessed the man wouldn’t take to her cup ramen with the enthusiasm she did, being as the chicken flavour was basically just that.... along with a few small chunks of meat within there, although it’s quality would be limited by the products instant nature. Lilou stood up after finishing the preparation of her own cup, stretching her arm and looking at the Zues sitting there, his towering height being made all the more clear. Something else that was seemed rather tall was the tales(answers) her was offering her, the girl able to immediately compare some aspects of his story to potential myths relating to her own heritage, this Zues guy sounding reminiscent of the thunderer Taranis. His provided answers were in all actuality of no real assistance to helping her figure out answer to her queries, the information implying a LONG time ago to the point there was no way she’d work out any accurate theoretical answer. Another thing that she noticed is that this guy was certainly was or at least believe himself to be some sort of big shot in his age, Lilou leaning toward the former as certain clans or people with great ability in history were certainly able to be perceived as something akin to a god, even if defining himself as not a true god his words didn’t suggest he or his siblings weren’t against how they were perceived.

As he continued on Lilou would feel confirmations to some of her thoughts coming to be, the man and his family appearing to be focused more on their own family and allowed the rest of people to believe what they wanted, the man clearly showing his appreciation of the perks that these perspectives of people, combine with his Filial position. The real question was he from a time where people didn’t know better, including Zues and his family.... or did he and his family know and allow it to be that way which wouldn’t be something she found terribly admirable, then again if she learned Greek history it would be likely that beyond finding it interesting.... she’d not be able to appreciate said pantheons gods as particularly good being. The fact he didn’t care to know about the civilizations of his time nor choose to accrue much of a bond with those mortals who communicated with or sought he or his family out.... at least the guy didn’t come off as malicious about the whole idea and more like a party driven muscle stud, which made sense by his appearance and jealousy inducing imaging bod.

The worst thing that she probably heard was that he didn’t know what the phrase “scientific innovation” meant, this ruffling a nerd such as she greatly. Though considering this blasphemous aspect as something beyond his control and the fact he missed mentioning O-Inari(something she half believed could be simply because he was using examples...) maybe he was from over 500 years or even further back, things were basic back then and history hazy considering what history destroyed, hidden and lost from war, time or natural causes. She sighed and rubbed her head as she racked her brain for abstract or random knowledge that could help here and found this a fruitless effort and sat down carefully and reached for her chopsticks, removing them from there sleeve and snapping them apart. She tapped on her phone for a moment and responded with ”Well I am stumped here, maybe someone with better historical knowledge might actually know something, though I can look into it later on. Your food should be ready now so enjoy. A question more related to the here and now, what do you want to do from here? Things have clearly changed since you were locked away... I could maybe bring you back to where I am from and they would likely have people to help you acclimate to the differences and get yourself up to date on how things roll. Also we are ontop of a death mountain, I currently can’t make it down as I lack the energy needed to do so.” She would balance the phone on one of her legs as it talked while picking up her cup ramen and beginning to eating, her words corroborating with exhausted eyes and pale skin as well as poorly treated injuries. Lilou was truly wonders what to do with this guy and hoped she could sway him coming to the Arashi so he could get adjusted to the heat and now and learn the laws of the land so to speak, her thoughts far from motivated by the idea of bringing a potential recruit to the village. Honestly she was concerned that he might cause trouble considering how things appeared to be for him back in his day, Lilou not judging him and just thinking practically about what she’d garnered so far.

Zeus looked at the cup of what seemed to be food when the girl indicated that it was okay to eat it now. Peeling off the top of it and looking at it quizzically. He was still confused about it, but once more he didn't think she would attempt to poison him so quickly after meeting him and freeing him. Not that poison was much of a problem to him. He would begin to eat it with whatever utensil she had given him to eat it. Upon taking the first bite of the noodles which she had referred to as chicken he looked at it even more confused. Why did she call this chicken...it tastes nothing like it...he couldn't say exactly what it tasted like however.

Fortunately, it wasn't bad by any means. On the contrary it was decent and flavorful for something that was made in a matter of minutes. That being said a bit of disappointment was on his face as this wasn't what he wanted. "Why did you call this chicken?" He asked before taking another bite. It was clear he was just put-off by the lack of what he was expecting. Either way....it was fine. As she typed saying she was still lost and dumbfounded as to what era he belonged to Zeus shrugged. He wouldn't know all that stuff regardless. However interestingly enough she had offered to bring him to the place she came from. It was an interesting offer...however. "I think not, I shall acclimate in my own way. I will figure it out. Perhaps I will find your place of origin and come myself someday however." He explained to her, finishing the cup of noodles she had given him and looked around stretching.

Thinking about it, they were indeed stuck in this mountain for the time being, or were they? Zeus stood up and stretched as he looked up towards the ceiling of the cave. "Well, the storm is probably gone now that I'm freed. IF that's what you mean." He said to her, yawning and looking down at her once more. "If it's still a problem I can always escort you down the mountain and away from this horrid place." He offered her,

Hunger had left her distracted from noticing the large mans confusion about her food until it was voiced, Lilou pausing half way through filling her mouth and peered at him as she realized she’d basically misled him. The fact he was super old would mean he never got to experience cup noodles, so when she offered him chicken flavoured, he had looked forward to actual chicken. Choosing the worst possibly time to see the humour on this Lilou made a sound as she almost choked on her food as a result, coughing out what was obstructing her throat before falling over backward with tears in her eyes that formed for multiple reasons. Bringing one after up and over her face as her chest and stomach heaved with unsurpassed laugher, well what looked like laugher at any rate, the sound of the girl’s irregular breathing being the main giveaway. Lilou herselr didn’t know why she found so much humour in this but the visual of the mains expression and tone he used, combine with his physique, demeanour and what she knew about him just had some hilarity to it.

Not dying due to lack of oxygen Lilou managed to finish laughing, her gut yelling at her disapprovingly along with the rest of her body, the pains she suffered earlier reminding her of their existence. Wiping her eyes as she sat up and reaching out for her phone with one hand and her drink with the other, taking a sip and making sure her throat was clear before anything else. Unabashed about her behaviour as per usual Lilou turned her full attention back to him with an apologetic smile as he expressed that he would be going about his own thing. ”It is unfortunate that you feel that way, I would have enjoyed showing you around our floating village, though I’ll be happy to show you around should you visit. Your food has some chicken bits and flavouring to it, it’s called cup or instant noodles/ramen, sorry I maybe should have been more clear!” Would be her response through the phone as she went back to eating, contemplating what kinda trouble this guy was gonna get into as her learned about the worlds changes since his incarceration.

The Zues decided to flaunt his towering height to its full extend as he stood and began to stretch, Lilou slurping her noodles as she helplessly admired his delectable manwich of a form whilst also cursing his height as couldn’t get over being made to feel short. Despite the fact she was sort of ogling him it was simply because she could and not particularly out of actual intent beyond observing his eye-candiness, so when he looked down to her to offer assistance, her gaze itself being quite unbetraying. Giving a blink and a tilt of the head to look toward where she has arrived from Lilou processed what Zues said, Lilou wondering if the storm was intentionally caused by his presence or because he was put here and that it was to ward people away, the latter option seeming the more likely. ”That storm was because of you or a ward left by your siblings? If it wasn’t for that storm I’d not be so beat up..... either way I’ll take your offer, my flying summon is out of commission and I’m not built for climbing mountains!” The drone of the phone continued as she finished her food, using one hand to give him a thumbs up and then opened her hands to show she hand delicate looking hands as if that would corroborate her claim at the end. Still if the storm was over she could realistically just float herself down but they were still likely to high up to do that safely and climbing a mountain either direction would be a pain for her at 100%, let alone the time being. Lilou grabbed her phone and stood up while using her spare hand to pick the scroll she’d summoned the food from up and dismissing the other utensils and garbage away back into storage, looking at Zues after and raising her hand to indicate the rather obvious direction they would be going.
