Alice felt...particularly unwell. After leaving Koetsu and Yui at the Residential District in order for them to associate themselves and for Yui to complete her graduation exam she was going to go to the Hokage's office. She was sure that Toki reported to the Hokage, he had a lot of time to have done exactly that, he was fast enough after all. However Alice knew she had to give her version of the story as well. She didn't do that though, she needed to rest, she had been feeling dizzy and overall just off ever since the fight at the gates. Was something wrong with her? Maybe she was just tired, perhaps she just...needed some sleep she thought. Of course recently it only seemed to get worse and worse. She wasn't sure what was going on with her right now. She made her way to the barracks, usually for the off-duty guards to rest and...well Alice was basically an off-duty guard right now anyways. She surely couldn't simply go back to the Residential District and potentially disturb Koetsu and Yui again.
Finding the Barracks, she would head in. Waving to some of the guards she came to know in the week or so she had been in the village. Smile on her face despite her feeling poor. She made her way to an empty room, where she would lay herself down in one of the beds and slowly doze off into dreamland. However...something odd began to happen around her. She was sleep for sure, unaware definitely however her chakra seemed to leak from her body ominously. It was quite fortunate that no one was in the room and no one was really around to sense and be alert of the situation...at least fortunate for whatever was causing this weird phenomena. Her blue, normal colored chakra slowly turned a yellow-ish brown like color, it enveloped her body completely before disappearing.
Everything seemed normal after, the chakra stopped...however oddly the woman who had just laid down sat up. A smile grew across her face that was unlike her normal bright and happy smile. Her eyes open, revealing a yellow iris with a 4 pointed star like pupil. "Maaan, It's good to be not locked up. Haha. I guess this isn't going to last particularly long though!" She said aloud, seemingly talking to nothing simply being vocal. She would stand up, stretching her entire body and cracking her neck. Then leaving her shields in the room in the barracks she would simply begin to make her way out. As she left the building she would sniff into the air. "Ugh, that fox is around this place, and his buddy buddy ox. Oh well, I'll jus avoid them. Gonna hafta thank that horse for helpin wake me up though, now where are ya brother." She said, heading off to who knows where.
The relation of the flame needing sustenance moreso than raiton was an interesting metaphor she was summoning, and its imagery wouldn't leave Kai as they walked back to the village. He should have been considering the ramifications for the dirty officers, but he couldn't focus. "Fanaticism," he had mumbled under his breath as they walked. It hadn't escaped him that she hadn't outright stated the meaning of the village to her, but he could gather those feelings from her musings on the Will of Fire.
Her final thoughts on the matter made him wonder how isolated she had to be as oinin taicho because that was the only interpretation that made sense to him when she explained she was hard to burn. "Hey," greeted Officer Tanaka as Kai approached the building where many rested. This particular outpost was focused on officers who were currently charged with external village travel tasks, including those that visited the pharmaceutical lab only. The rationale had been that officers were safer couriers than general shinobi for something as delicate as massive pain medicine shipments, but it was more often treated as punishment for officers who had annoyed their superiors or for boneheads who were too stupid to interact with civilians or criminals. "You on pharma duty?" His disbelief was palpable.
"Nah, just-"
"Tadachi, bro, I'm coming down so hard-" Officer Yamamoto slurred before stopping at the entrance and seeing the very recognizable Kai with the not-so-recognizable-but-equally-heart-stopping oinin taicho. "Um, with a... cold?" He coughed half-heartedly into his fist.
Kai sighed as he looked between Yamamoto and Tanaka, who both looked disheveled, dirty, and like they hadn't slept much. The outposts were not renown for offering lots of rations, but he could see how much food was lying around unopened or barely eaten, and it was clear that these officers were holding onto and abusing the opioids they needed to deliver. For a second, he let the quiet hang in the air; his heart ached for his own men who were in an unfortunate cycle of abuse, as well as for his brother who had succumbed to a similar fate, but he had enough compassion to also feel bad for the patients who were getting screwed out of medication that could put them at ease.
A lot of bad feelings all around, and those only served to make Kai nervous, these days. "You guys..." he started with predictable disappointment, but it was enough to tip both officers off to what was about to happen to their careers.
"Run!" Tadachi Tanaka shouted for his partner before pulling a smoke bomb from his outer thigh pouch in a quick second, throwing it dead square at Kai's face, who doubled over and retched instinctively as it flooded his lungs. Officer Yamamoto, however, didn't follow his more reasoned partner's advice and instead aimed a chop at Coda's neck [ Parting Gift | Rank S+ | Simple ].
Meanwhile, Kai blindly straightened up and threw a punch at Tadachi, toxins making him cough and choke as his eyes stayed screwed shut. His speed couldn't make up for the lack of accuracy, so Tadachi had ample opportunity to spin him around, kick him in the back of the knee [ Submissive Lethal Strike | Rank S+ | Simple ]. "Ack!" Tadachi pulled out his blade to stab him in the neck, finishing the move.

Coda smirked under her mask as they stumbled head first into the problem. An expression that became a slightly manic smile as they tried to scramble their way out of the predicament. Smoke bombs and taijutsu, if there was a worse combination to use on her she hadn’t found it. Between her sage sensing and training with the bats, sneaking up on her was a fool’s errand even if the smoke bomb had hit her directly in the face. And that was before you accounted for the mask. About the only people in the shinobi world who needed their sight less than Konoha’s Oinin Taicho were people from whom it could no longer be taken.
Much less enjoyable was Kai being caught seemingly entirely by surprise. Her left hand reached across her body and snatched the chop out of the air, applying a customized Seal of O’Inari to Yamamoto’s wrist in the process. Her other hand shifted quickly to his lower back, ensuring that he was kept off balance for the counter’s hip throw. As he tumbled away, she took a hop step towards the other assailant to close ground and gather herself before launching a brutal roundhouse kick at the man’s now exposed torso. Once again she underestimated the strength afforded by Gyuki, and Tadachi would be taking a strike backed by a type of strength most shinobi never encountered.
She’d held back, so it almost certainly wouldn’t kill him, but it’s damage was more severe than the minor fractures she intended to impart. Clearly training with the beast could not be put off much longer. Perhaps the shinobi would busy themselves with their globe trotting machinations again soon. She settled back into a stance as the kick followed through, ready for either of them to keep going. Tadachi might have gotten enough to take a hint and stay down, but Yamamoto had some time before her seal progressed far enough to really hinder him.
The user reaches out as an opponent attacks and catches the oncoming strike by the enemy's hand/foot by paying the cost of the technique being countered. With a timely exertion of their strength and effective use of the enemy's momentum as well as advantageous leverage, the Kyotouryuu practitioner throws the enemy around or over their self. If the target's Strength is not superior to the user's, this technique is unblocked. For an additional activation, the user may pin the target to the ground with a basic combat submission that is equal to the target's body rank. The target must pay stamina equal to the cost of the applied stamina in addition to a rank of stamina per [2] point difference in strength favoring the user.
Activation 2 Body Art: Creeping Death Rank S
A deadly sealing formation comprised of corrupted nature chakra, created specifically for combat purposes. If successfully placed onto a target, this technique begins a slow crawl towards the nearest vital organ (defined as organs which would kill the target if their function was completely removed), applying a densely packed formula to the skin that turns it nearly black. Once it reaches a vital organ, a seal is applied that causes the organ to cease to function entirely. Naturally, if this applied in the center of the heart or anywhere on the head, the target immediately suffers a mortal wound in the next post. Otherwise, this technique progresses from organ to organ. Scholar class RPCs may remove this with the Evil Sealing Method or suppress it for 1/2 the original cost per post. In the event of a mortal wound, this sealing formal will dissipate when the RPC is removed from combat and returned to their hospital per guild rules.
Activation 3 Fracture Smash | Complex Rank B -> S
The user performs a heavy roundhouse kick to the target's rib cage. This carries a [1] point increase to strength per rank of the technique. In addition, B rank and above execution fractures the ribs of the target, causing them to expend ten stamina per rank of this technique once per post for the remainder of the fight.

What was it with Kai and getting pummeled in front of his peers? Tadachi had him on his knees, but the Uchiha charged raiton through his body like armor to eat the officer's blade before it could stab him as Kai rubbed at his eyes [ Lightning Armor [ Raiton no Yoroi ] ]. He heard the force of the roundhouse kick coming over his head and slamming into Tadachi, kicking him back into the wall of the quarters and partially through it, leaving him awkwardly stuck and groaning as he tried to grope his ribs. "Geez," he muttered as he got to his feet a little shakily, feeling every sore spot where bruises were developing as he turned to see his ally and Officer Yamamoto standing off. Immediately, Kai spotted the weird sign on his wrist as well as the weird look in Yamamoto's eyes that were strangely familiar...
"Oblivion Fist," he blurted out as he recognized the weird trance he seemed to be in as well as just who they were fighting, "he's totally gonna blow the building to bits." His lightning armor was fizzling lightly around his skin as he turned around and grabbed Officer Tadachi who yelped at the touch. He wrapped Tadachi's arms around his neck and bent forward to bear the officer's weight on his back. "You should get clear," he stated as Officer Yamamoto telegraphed before punching at her. "Diediediediediedie!" Kai flickered out of the building, just a few feet behind Yamamoto, where the punch's concussive force wouldn't hit [ Body Flicker ]. He barely got clear before Tadachi, slung around his shoulders, bit into his neck like a ******** animal. "Are you serious?! What is my luck this month, I swear-" He threw Tadachi over his shoulder in front of him, forcing the officer to land on his back; however, Kai immediately noticed Tadachi's feral, bloody grin, and the weird glow in his eyes that clued him in.
Kai clapped a hand on his neck as he charged healing chakra there, preventing him from bleeding out at the artery [ Healing Hands ]. Meanwhile, he took a few steps back as Tadachi's body seemed to move unnaturally, sinew and bones almost fighting his skin as he quickly mutilated into something like a tiger, though it had larger teeth and a strange hunched back. He grew to the size of a two story building, not quite bijuu-size but nothing shy, either. "Sorry, kid, it ain't personal."

▰ Ancestral Form This form must be learned by the Kemono Shinzō. The user of this technique shifts their form to a legendary, sometimes primordial form based on the animal species they are part of. These forms are similar to some Yokai and Many Monsters in nature, so much so that they can commonly be mistaken for a Yokai or a Monster themselves. These forms are much larger than normal animals, they can become up to the size of some Boss Summons/Bijuu. While in this form, jutsu that would require hand seals normally may be used through somatic motion or vocalizations such as roaring, hissing, etc. Jutsu still form at the same rate hand seals would be used. They lose to ability to use Bukijutsu, however their Taijutsu inflicts 1 tier higher trauma than normal in this form. Their jutsu also grow in size to fit with their new size, however this does not increase the power of a jutsu. Their stat caps increase by one stage, and their stats are increased to that new maximum automatically. To remain in this state requires an S-Rank amount of Stamina per post. This cost can not be reduced except via Master Shifter. Ancestral mode can only be used for up to ten posts and cannot be used at the same time or in the same battle as the sage mode, forbidden seal, demon, or golden dragon forms.
used on coda - ▰ Form of Destruction | Rank A | Spiritual The user enters an almost trance like state of mind, focusing on nothing more than complete and utter destruction of their target. This visualization is almost akin to a self hypnosis, allowing the user to believe they are invincible and immune to bodily harm. This technique allows for the user to gain a [1] point increase in two stats of their choice per rank, stated at the beginning of this technique's use. In addition, while this trance is active, the user's body ignores physical pain and delays poisons for two posts longer at A Rank and an additional post every rank following. This ability is able to stack with that of the berserker. This state lasts a total of five posts before ending and has a five post cool down.
▰ Oblivion Fist | Rank S | Complex This technique requires the user have the Form of Destruction active. While under it's influence, the user releases an unrestrained punch with the intent to maim or kill the target. This single, direct punch is thrown straight forward. The chakra imbued within it causes a compressed air wave to shoot forth measuring twenty feet in width and traveling two hundred feet. The sheer force of this punch causes everything on either side of it to be blown back fifty feet. Those stricken by it without defending have their bones crushed, suffering a severe concussion as they are blown from the topic into the nearest land of.

That was cute, Kai was worried about her safety. She propped a hand up on her hip as he flickered away, watching the fool in front of her ready to do something truly idiotic. “Ha haha HAHAHA!” Coda’s laughter echoed off the inside of her mask as she extended a hand thumb up in front of herself. Punch all he wanted, Yamamoto would get nowhere. He might as well have been trying to win a staring contest with a puppet.
As the disgruntled man made his bid, the Konin countered. A wave of pure force several times larger and more controlled split the attack vertically like a wedge being driven into a log - directing the force away from her at the very least. As the dust cleared Coda heaved a sigh. Where had all the creativity in the world gone? She’d just put them both on their asses, and he still pressed ahead with brute force despite obviously being outclassed. Moreover it was pure desperation - no heroism, no drive for honor, just selfishness.
Her head tilted to the side as she watched the sealing formula work its way further up his arm. “Is this really how you want to die?” Coda asked with a well rehearsed half interest as she plucked at the fingertips of one of her gloves. “I try hard not to be too mean to people who aren’t worth my time, little pig, little pig. I promise I’ll only beat you nearly to death if you squeal.” She said mockingly, as she plucked the glove from her hand and removed the other with more ease. Calmly she folded them together and tucked the pair into a pouch on her lower back.
The Oinin’s hands shifted to a red color as they reached up, black nails becoming black claws as they wrapped around the hem of her hood and pulled it away, revealing horns working their way through the pin straight bob underneath. She had to carefully manipulate her transformation to conceal the rest of the curse mark’s effects - couldn’t exactly turn into a half naked armored fox abomination when her identity needed to remain concealed. "I can assure you, that won't be so kind though." She added, a black claw gesturing in the direction of the dense sealing formula that had already climbed halfway up Yamamoto's bicep.
Fighting with anything else she’d put in effort to learn here was beneath her. If he was a killer then it was the result of incidental negligence, not intent, and O’Inari would not reward her for taking the life of this shell of a man. A crashing loser with a death wish fighting for something he’d lost the second they walked in the door; she’d bludgeon him into submission the old fashioned way. Coda's first step turned her into a blur as she closed the ground between them, crouching low to drive herself into a powerful flying knee aimed at his diaphragm. He could be immune to pain all he wanted, it’d do nothing to stop his brain from reacting to biology snatching the breath from his lungs if her attack landed.

The user channels their chakra to the surface of their hands, feet, elbows or knees. This chakra becomes super heated and explosive, staying dormant in the desired body part until physical contact is made. This explosion expands 10 feet outward per rank of the technique, throwing those in it's range to it's furthest limits with concussive force, causing tiered burns and trauma. This is often used to augment the user's taijutsu or basic combat attacks to grant them additional force.

The redirection of force destroyed the outpost around the two combatants. Yamamoto didn't seem too thrown off by her new appearance because of his trance, which allowed him to continue without a rather healthy dose of fear. While she was faster and stronger than him, these things did not hold him back from a strategy of full-on offense, so the two ended up striking at the same time, with Yamamoto bringing a chakra-ridden fist her way [ ▰ Oblivion Fist: Havoc | Rank S+ | Complex ]. "I won't stop until your blood has finished spilling!"
Meanwhile, the strange creature of Tadachi hovered over Kai menacingly. "I can't let you tell anyone, kid."
"It's 'Chief' to you!" His yell was indignant, though he took the entire situation far more personal than the Officer's inability to use his proper title. Tadachi matched his yell with a roar, casting a disorienting spell on everyone else [ ▰ Call of the Wild | Rank S+ | Spiritual ]. Kai sighed and charged forward to meet the leg, generating after-images of himself that continued to spawn above him and punch the leg upwards again, ultimately stalling the foot before it could hit the ground as both the upwards force and the downwards force were evenly matched [ ▰ Rising Barrage | Rank A | Complex ]. Kai jumped backwards from where the tiger's leg would have landed after his technique finished, gathering more distance so he could take things in.
To his right, of course, was the destroyed outpost and his ally with her own opponent. "You doin' okay?" He called over to her. His head felt funny after the tiger's roar, but not in the capital b Bad way. It didn't seem to be a full genjutsu, but he knew he had to be on top of his game if he didn't want to be taken by surprise again. "After this, we'll see what kind of evidence we can scour from the outpost, yeah?"

Well, she’d closed ground at least. She hadn’t expected him to do nothing in exchange for turning this into a mutual blow. Not that it would matter. Her exposed skin subtly shifted to a craggy gray as Yamamoto repeated his action like a record skipping. She’d use his attack against him this time, altering her own from a flying knee to an upward clawing motion at the arm extending for the punch. The same blast wave came again, this time catching her square in the chest. With any luck, her claws would turn half the muscles on his arm to ribbons as his own attack knocked her back. A few small pops echoed as Coda righted herself for a smooth landing, the stoney texture receding back up her arms as quickly as it came.
Regardless, Yamamoto would find her gift from earlier consuming the entire arm it had been placed on and threatening one of his lungs. For her it looked now like Gyuki’s tentacles snaking their way in and out of his skin thanks to the stupid cat’s roar. They had only just started working their way through his clavicle area, not quite to their target but they’d spread to the other lung shortly after the first if he decided to push on; quickly rendering him unconscious, and then dead within minutes. His flailing only reduced his chances for survival, both from damage he might accrue tussling with a shinobi whose abilities vastly outstripped his brainless bludgeoning and from the drastic decrease in likelihood that Coda would remove Creeping Death.

Using a special set of tattoos, Coda stores advanced transformation jutsu. Unlike normal transformations, these forms are tangible changes to the user's body. Their size and efficacy vary by the rank the jutsu is applied at, but they may apply no more than 3 unique effects based on the nature of the transformation. These effects are also rank limited. All versions may apply a purely visual transformation, or a transformation that applies or resists damage of some sort. C-rank and above may apply a status effect of tier 2 or lower, provided this status effect is appropriate to the nature of the transformation. B-rank and above may apply a stat bonus of [ 1 ] point, and A-rank and above may apply a stat bonus of [ 2 ] points at the cost of one of the other two effects.
The drawback of this technique is in its specificity, and interactions with other jutsu. If, for example, Coda were to create an E-rank coating on her body that turned her skin into barbs that dealt E-rank damage to the opponent, these could not also resist damage from an opponent. In fact, they could only ever deal damage to an opponent. So, if her skin is turned to steel to resist physical strikes, it does not also resist ninjutsu in the same way. Additionally, they may not leave her body, nor can any physical manifestation - i.e. no making her skin emit poison, no firing spikes off, etc. Similarly, if she creates a form that turns her skin into fire, it may not apply a status effect that is not related to that element. Any elemental application applies the effects of weakness and overwhelming as well, and Coda is barred from using any element which she does not have access to personally or through fuuin. Additionally, the duration of this jutsu falls as more effects are stacked. The effects granted by default may be maintained for up to 8 posts and upkeep paid at 1/4th chakra requirements rounded up, if applied alone. Maintaining the effects of C and B-ranks, and below, reduces this to 4 posts and upkeep to 1/2 chakra costs rounded up. Maintaining the A rank effect of this jutsu, and all below, again reduces the duration to 2 posts, with upkeep remaining 1/2 chakra costs rounded up.

The user expels their explosive chakra in a jet like funnel from a body part at any point they would like. This is often used to throw a melee attack at a faster rate while defending the user's back but can alternatively be used as a spiritual technique to clear a large distance in a single moment, clearing 10 feet per rank and allowing the user to make mid-air movements normally not possible.

Yamamoto fell to the ground as the seal claimed his lungs and her claws shredded him into oblivion. At the same time he fell, Tadachi had time to roar over both shinobi again, generating a concussive force to push them back [ Primal Roar | Rank S+ | Spiritual ]."I will bury you out here!" His feral roars were almost indecipherable from his beastial throat, but the giant cat-thing was moving closer to both of them. Kai formed a hand sign, generating a corrosive double helix of water around him that absorbed the concussive force [ Corrosive Defense [ Fushoku bōgyo ] | Rank A ]. No immediate strategy was coming to mind for the two-story-tall monster.
"Come on, man," Kai tried to appeal to the officer, "I know you don't believe you can sweep this under the rug. Even if you could kill us and hide our bodies, this outpost is destroyed and... and your partner doesn't look too well. Why don't you just come with us, answer some questions, eh?" He saw something in the kemono shinzo's eyes that made him realize his words 'connected,' but it wasn't in the way he was hoping for. Tadachi realized just how cornered he was, and the sight of his shredded partner on the ground wasn't helping the feral rage inside of him that he had fed by accessing his ancestral form. He charged forward, sweeping Kai's legs and, almost instantaneously, rushing to his ally with a whirlwind kick. Kai sidestepped the sweep, but he still felt off-rhythm. He didn't want to kill his own officer, but he didn't know how to force a kemono shinzo back to human form so he could take Tadachi in. He didn't know who he could trust if he could get Tadachi into custody, and he didn't know how to articulate any of it to his partner without revealing sensitive information to Tadachi.
He was sure she could handle herself and his strikes like she'd handled everything else so far, but he still needed a direction and a clearer objective if they were going to salvage this. Whatever evidence was within the outpost had been shattered to splinters in the fight, so he had very little in terms of future leads. And, while she was good, he didn't know what she was really capable of. "Do you think we could restrain him?"

Coda’s hands caught the blast of chakra from the beast’s roar, sealing it away as she braced herself against it. She got just enough time to verify her own target was down for the count before the beast was jumping at her in retaliation. Her body flowed elegantly into a defensive posture, carrying momentum and a wave of charka to absorb the impact of the kick.
“One chance. Submit and I prevent my technique from stopping your friend’s heart.” Her hand delivered a rapid open palm strike a moment later, easily concentrating more force into the light strike than all of Tadachi’s sound and fury had managed a moment earlier. It probably wouldn’t kill him, she’d held back on the base technique. She hadn’t restricted her shockwaves however, and while Gyuki was silent thanks to the curse mark his influence on her fighting would be more than enough to rock the Barracks once more and snatch the air from Tadachi’s chest.
Perhaps he could have withstood her mark’s rapid use of chakra, bought time before she possessed the ability to make his own game look like that of a child mimicking an athlete. Not with this strategy, but she could have worked out a way to beat herself in that situation. There were few who would find hand to hand combat with Coda a pleasant experience before Kenshin unceremoniously forced a tailed beast on her. Now an even larger portion would find victory a fundamentally impossible prospect. It remained to see what conclusion this Tadachi would come to.
“You may attempt to do so. I, however, will not promise to continue restraining myself if he attacks me again.” She added in response to Kai’s question of capture. The Oinin Taicho was not typically called upon for capture, and when Coda did so it was typically by way of fear or physical brutality - the latter of which seemed unlikely to succeed here. That said, Tadachi was Kai's problem, and if he wanted to guarantee capture he'd do it himself. She was more than content to kill the traitor and set the Oinin to task purging anyone else involved.

Should the user strike an incoming chakra based attack, the effects of whatever technique was launched at the user are drawn in and absorbed by the Tsunami Strike, allowing the user to strike the target with a physical strike augmented with their own technique.

Tadachi considered her words as he flew across the clearing and mowed down a few trees in the process, but despite his absolute belief she would deliver on her promises, he couldn't justify surrendering to himself. "We will submit to death before we submit to Leaf bondage!" He get back to his claws and charged at her. He got close and pivoted behind her, releasing chakra at his claw at the moment of impact at the back of her skull [ Cherry Blossom Impact + Pivoting Fist ]. "Tadachi! This can't be worth it to you!" He cried out, flickering a greater distance away with Yamamoto because both clearly had bijuu-level abilities to destroy based on the ruined forest and down-to-splinters building around them.

"You got a lot of talk kid, but that's not gonna cut it! Only one of us is walking out of here. You know that, don't you? Your friend certainly does. You've only really been on the force for a month. Give it a few more. You'll see what the real world really looks like. You're either a sucker or you're playing the game and pulling one over on someone else. I'm no sucker, kid."
"Goddamn it! I can't lose you to drugs, too!" He was still cowered over Yamamoto protectively despite the added distance he got from Tadachi and his ally, but his chest was heaving from all the shouting. "You can do better! We can get you help! You don't have to do any of this!" He knew he sounded like a petulant child, especially as tears welled in his eyes and the hurt of strained his voice. He wasn't throwing a tantrum: he didn't want to spectate as his men ruined their own lives. Literal addiction or addiction to money, it didn't matter. He didn't want to watch them die because they didn't want to face the law.

used - ▰ Cherry Blossom Impact | Rank S+ | Spiritual This technique utilizes the user‘s fine chakra control. The user will first build up a high amount of chakra to a striking body part, and then release it in an instant, increasing strength exponentially at the moment of impact. Strikes that impact solid structures cause them to crack and crumble upon contact. This technique gives the user bonuses to strength equal to their strength increases. Once activated this jutsu lasts for eight [8] posts and is treated as supplementary.
▰ Pivoting Fist | Rank S+ | Simple The user rushes towards the enemy, clearing five feet per rank of the technique in the blink of an eye, moving [1] point faster per rank of the technique. As they reach the target, they pivot around the target which allows them to deliver a devastating superman punch to the back of the target's head, driving them into the earth.

Coda wasn’t happy about her gambit to end this more peacefully failing, but she wasn’t bothered by the prospect of what she intended to do either. A single handed seal released the formula from the incapacitated Yamamoto. The cat had chosen to fight, which meant she’d not hold back from killing him; unfortunately that meant her creation would once again fail to fulfill its purpose as the black lines receded.
Predictable so far. He attempted to close the distance again, despite clearly not being faster or stronger. Even running would have been strategically preferable to this, despite standing little chance of escaping Konoha’s apex hunter. His attack wasn’t awful but he was far from fast enough to execute it - not that it’d have mattered if he was. Coda was rather small by shinobi standards, but there was no reality in which Tadachi would ever be big or strong enough to win this type of fight. He’d have better luck moving a mountain.
She rotated with him - the golden eyes of her cursed form seeming to shine through the openings in the mask as they locked to his. One of her hands caught his, releasing the charka she’d stolen before to ward off the extra ompf. As she did so a shimmering shield of chakra popped into place, crackling in her palm as his fist carried out the physical part of the attack. Kaiser Armor was not particularly pleasant to punch. She’d used it to ward off far more formidable opponents than this, so no doubt Tadachi would find the experience quite painful. Although apparently not painful enough to avoid monologuing - something Coda planned to put an end to.
“I was content to let you live, shinobi, even at the cost of paying great personal penance to my god on your behalf.” She said, just loud enough for him and only him to hear clearly as she closed whatever ground he’d made after the attack. “But you just couldn’t keep your mouth shut.” Tadachi had made a fatal error in evoking the existence of Konoha’s boot like it was on his neck. No amount of assurances of his safety or their care from Kai would stop her now.
“You weep about oppression as if you’ve experienced it at all, from a position where anyone raising a hand to you is treated as assaulting the village itself. You lecture on naivete from cushioned seats at tables set with hot meals in houses full of real beds.” Coda said, chakra charging into a free hand that tightly formed its clawed fingers into a knife-like row of razors. To a woman who had experienced the thing Tadachi fantasized was happening to him, real actual reprisal from Leaf shinobi, this was beyond the pale. She’d also battled the UHV, as a child no less, trudged ragged and dirty through long missions with no guarantee of food or sleep at a high personal cost; and this clown chafed under not being allowed a fix and insisted he knew the roughness of the world from his relatively cushy patrols in the relative safety of the Leaf’s walls.
He got one thing right at least. She was more than willing to put an end to him.
Her hand darted for his torso like a stabbing blade, just below the rib cage, and more than forty identical copies repeated the strike all over his chest and abdomen at a lightning pace. The claws would easily carve through him like they had his partner, though Tadachi was much less likely to survive. Coda held nothing back. All the strength she could muster, all the after images she could create for this attack, all the anger she had for him wearing her lived experiences like armor against the words of someone attempting to save his life. She had no desire to kill for the village’s pointless crusade against drugs and the people selling them. The Oinin Taicho was not ignorant enough to see the symptom and call it a problem; however, the font of malice she could draw from to punish the same variety of arrogance that’d started her journey to this moment all those years ago was indescribably vast.
“At least your craven brethren who reave their way through the countryside have the decency to live in reach of those they act on and with me at their back.” Even as she drew her hand back the Blessing of O-Inari began receding. She’d already pushed near half of her reserves, which was quite further than most of her work required. A quick use could be walked off, but she grimaced as she lowered a shaky, blood soaked hand. The ear-like horns of bone on her head retreated as she stiffly raised herself back to her normal standing stance. The backlash of the curse mark, even to someone like her who could push through if necessary, were significant enough that Kai might even notice them if he stopped his whinging for a moment.
“You’re a medic, right? If you intend to save them you should undo my work as rapidly as possible.” She said, turning her attention back to Kai. She had no intention of allowing the Kemono Shinzo to live, in fact she’d likely killed him outright, but she hadn’t struck at his head. If Kai was as gifted a medic as her intel suggested, there was a chance Tadachi might be snatched back from the brink if the Uchiha stopped mewling and got to work. She done enough to sate O-Inari, and whatever threat was here would be eliminated, it was up to Kai to take control if he wanted a better outcome than a dead subordinate and another bleeding out at his feet.
[This seems like a nice climactic moment to end the actual fight itself on.]

The Kaiser armor is a staple of the style. In it's base form it is not visible to the naked eye but chakra floods every inch of the user's body. While active, the armor prevents damage equal to it's own rank. In addition, it prevents the user from having their stat decreased below their natural states.This armor lasts for three posts at C rank and an additional post for every rank additionally applied.

The user floods their attacking limb with chakra in unison with a simple or complex technique for no additional activation. For each rank of this technique, the user creates five illusory copies of the attack that stem from the user's real body. Each of these attacks are indecipherable from the original unless in possession of sensory techniques or dojutsu able to discern chakra.

[ Flowing Arts Training | Available | Cooldown 0/2 ] Any attack that follows a dodge or evasive technique is treated as a counterattack, and the user's total bonus to agility can be attributed to the strength of the next attack. When this ability is performed it cannot be used the following post.
[ Flowing Arts Training | Available | Cooldown 0/3 ] Once every [3] posts, the user may utilize an offensive technique that targets a specific part of the target's body that would disrupt their attack. This offensive attack deals damage regularly but allows the user to use their remaining activations as offensive as well.
[ Kyotoryuu Training | Available | Duration 0/2 | Cooldown 0/3 ] The Kyotouryuu practitioner can now react to an opponent by converting their speed into an agility boost for [2] posts with a [3] post cooldown. This requires no activation or resource cost.

[ Yozen ] Fuuinjutsu techniques require [10] less chakra per body rank of the Yozen clansman (maximum of 60 at S+) without losing their potency.
[ Mach Style Training ] Make taijutsu complex, and "punch" ninjutsu orbs as projectiles. When in the shooter stance, the strength and speed of strikes is increased by [2] points instead of [1] point per rank.
[ Channeling Martial Skill Training ] Ability for techniques to carry two elemental properties. Ability to add bloodline elements.
[ Kaiser Fist Training ] The armor now emits a crackling, bright, white hot chakra that appears like a thin aura around the user. The chakra causes mild burns on contact. In addition, the user gains a [1] point increase to strength and speed per rank of the armor. ------- Kaiser Armor allows the user to regenerate 10 stamina per rank of chakra applied to each technique while the armor is active. The user may not generate more stamina than their reserves may hold. ------- The Kaiser Armor now causes searing burns upon contact that blister due to the crackling chakra. The user's strength and speed are increased by [1] point per rank of the armor. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while the armor is active create shock waves [5] feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
[ Mirror Image Arts Training ] The user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ------- The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.
