xxxxx⇾Aᴍʙɪᴛɪᴏᴜs: Whether it's learning guitar in secret or plotting pranks, Tzuki always wants to be better than herself. She loves to try and improve upon herself, proving to the world that she had the drive to be the very best.
xxxxx⇾Hᴀʀᴅ-Wᴏʀᴋɪɴɢ: Going hand in hand with her ambitious nature, Tzuki is an incredibly hard worker. She follows through on anything she does until it's the best she can make it. She's determined to be the best she can, and will work to show it.
xxxxx⇾Eɴᴇʀɢᴇᴛɪᴄ: Despite being blind, Tzuki isn't one to sit still. She loves to get up and run and play, making the most fun out of her days. When she's not stuck in lessons, you can bet she's running around, either outside or in.
xxxxx⇾Cᴜʀɪᴏᴜs: Part to do with being blind, Tzuki has always had a wild curiosity. She loves to investigate anything she can get her hands on and loves to learn in a hands-on way.
xxxxx⇾Sɴᴇᴀᴋʏ: Thanks to her enhanced hearing, Tzuki has gotten really good at sneaking around almost silently. Unfortunately, if she's in a new environment she's a lot clumsier than she should be. Once she knows her paths she can slip by unnoticed, though sometimes she overestimates the amount of dark surrounding her.

Tzuki was born to Damian Jennings and Mei Zhao. When pregnant, her mother became very ill, to the point the doctors told them it would come down to a choice in saving Mei or saving their unborn baby. Damian wanted to keep his wife alive, since she had a long life to go, but Mei knew something was wrong and begged Damian to save their baby. She requested a name Tzuki, and asked him to keep her heritage alive in the baby. After pleas turned into pained cries, Damian agreed. Late in the night, his beloved wife passed, but a new life was born. Honoring his wife's wishes, he named his new daughter Tzuki Mai Zhao-Jennings to honor both cultures.
Upon initial tests of the baby, doctors discovered she was blind, along with being ill. A few weeks in NICU and she ended up being released to her father and grandparents. A year later, Damian met AnaSofia, a local schoolteacher. The two hit it off and a few years later they were wed. Utilizing Damian's funds from his job as a CEO of a major business, she stopped working for the school, deciding instead that she would homeschool Tzuki. Of course, it was met with confusion, because Damian knew of the child's likely path toward magic, despite his being a squib.
Two years later and AnaSofia had worked her claws in, at least according to Tzuki. Instead of being out and making friends, Tzuki was stuck at home learning Latin and classical piano, neither of which she wanted. One day, while on a walk with her parents, Tzuki met a small forest snake, speaking with it like a friend. While it startled AnaSofia, Damian recognized that his little girl was a lot more like her mother than he knew. Taking a moment to explain to both girls about the world of magic, one which he'd kept hidden since being disowned from his family for being a squib. He also told Tzuki of her mom's gift of snake language - Parseltongue - and happily told Tzuki she had the same skill.
This news excited Tzu, though mostly for the thought of freedom and adventure. A few more years passed, with the girl turning eleven. Her dad came to her and read a letter, inviting her to the magic school for the British Isles. It made her a bit sad, that she wouldn't be able to walk the same halls her mother once did, but still, she'd be able to learn magic and get a taste of freedom... and maybe make some friends too.
xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx Tzuki made lots of friends very easily in school, especially after being sorted into Hufflepuff. She worked hard in her classes, but always left time to explore the castle. She befriended the ghosts and paintings, especially the curmudgeonly Sir Cadogan. The summer before her fourth year saw a tumultuous divorce between her dad and her shitty stepmonster. Tzuki got to be there the day AnaSofia was removed, and she regards it as a fantastic day. In fifth year, she met one of the new first years, Angier, who seemed quite infatuated with her. She led the Adventurer's Guild for a few years, really cementing her love of gaming. In her final year, she started a crush on her classmate, Jude.
xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx As an adult, Tzuki stayed with her dad, but did insist on helping financially. She got a job with one of her friends, Nim Siddall, working in his flower shop. While she worked, Tzu did her best to save up (not knowing her dad was matching her knut for knut), before she finally had enough to open her own shop. After a teary goodbye from the flower shop, Tzuki started work in Hogsmeade Village to make the best game shop ever.... and move into the little flat upstairs for her first real taste of freedom.
