To the far north of the Iron Country's capital there is a castle that sits atop a precipice that is wedged between two rivers and the sea. This castle is laid out in a square shape with a massive ten story tower at each corner. It's massive courtyard has hosted many tournaments and games of skill within the land of iron as the Seiryu boast one of the best warriors with a sword in the Land of Iron. The keep of this castle is enormous, having over two hundred rooms in it's twenty story construction, often referred to as the "Dragon's Labyrinth". The frigid sea waters produce a large variety of fishing in this part of the land, most fiefs surrounding the castle dependent upon this source of income and food. In the five hundred years the castle has stood strong, none have dared lay siege to it in fear of the Ancient Dragon Yokai that lies in the depths of the sea. It is said the first Seiryu Clan Head, Daiichi Seiryu made a pact with this yokai in exchange for guarding it's home from men, this Legendary Yokai would serve as the guardian to the clan in their times of need. There is a temple inside the castle dedicated to Tenryu Shinko and Water Ninshu.

▱▰▱Satoshi hosted Atomu in the captain's cabin as he piloted the ship. He used Atomu's directions to lead him from the mountainous entrance of the Land of Iron to a more coastal area. "Alright lad just point when yee see the castle." The pirate captain said as he quickly flew over the snowy and mountainous landscape of the Land of Iron. "Oh yeah, yee can't do much pointin' anymore, eh? BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He loosed a belly laugh after he realized his mistaken verbiage. Satoshi looked at him before finally containing his cackling by looking out of the ship's massive front windows. As they got closer, Satoshi pat his crow Yogen's back as he remained perched on his shoulder. "What's the layout of this place anyway? How can we mount the most effective assault?" His demeanor and manner of speaking quickly morphed to become more serious and tactical. It was as if he was changing hats with the ease in which he changed his demeanor so starkly and quickly. He considered the various possibilities for destroying the castle and leaving as soon as possible to continue his quest for the Jashin totems.

Atomu, the young Seiryuu boy....for having his arms ripped off, brought on to a flying ship, nearly disintegrated, blown up, and poisoned to death within a matter of a few minutes...seemed fairly calm. He hadn't seemed to react to the pain of his arms being ripped off at the time that they had gone on. He was prepare for it, as he had simply use his breathing technique to delay the pain. Perhaps just a show of his intent...of course that only lasted so long. By the time the group of pirates flew off with him he was on the floor of the ship writhing in pain for a bit. It wasn't something he could handle....nor was it something he fully expected to ever experience....but he didn't seem to mind it. He was healed, not dying, his arms still missing but that wasn't much of his concern...it was a small price to pay in order to accomplish his goal.
Having given direction still in his head clearly from having just come from this place....the castle was soon being approached. The odd...captain? Asked how to mount the most effective assault. Atomu wasn't particularly knowledgeable in that regard however. The only thing he could think of was that....part of what protected their castle was the supposed Water Yokai in the waters surrounding it. Maybe it was just the waters in general..."I'm fairly new to mounting assaults....but conveniently probably from above...It's probably the least expected place for an attack to come from if it's a large scale attack. There are a lot of towers though so it's possible they do have some forces ready to defend exactly that as they may even be aware that is where many would likely need to attack, but I only even just began my training mere days ago....I don't know much else about them, I never got the time..."

Takao let his hands rest at his hips as he looked around the ship, mind reeling as he tried to figure out exactly what had transpired during his strange conversation with some embodiment of hedonism. It had looked like a siege, though the pirates had handled it soon enough. He had little desire to learn what Satoshi had planned for them all now and had to hold onto his relief in the knowledge that Shion was coming, as she could fix all of this and sort things out with the Arashikage.
"s**t, dude, you need a hand?" Takao blurted out as he saw the armless samurai. He really, really wasn't sure what had transpired while he was gone, but if the man hadn't been thrown off the ship by Satoshi, he was probably with them (whatever that meant). Takao put his hands together and let healing chakra overtake them before he put them on each side of the man's shoulders, letting the chakra cover his wounds and offer some small soothing affect [ Healing Hands Technique: Minor [ Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui ] | Rank C ]. Actual pain relief jutsu would damage the man's tenketsu, which Takao didn't feel comfortable doing without discussing it with the man.
"Uh, welcome aboard, by the way. Um, I'm Takao." He made a strange aborted gesture, as if to shake the man's hand before thinking better of it. The impersonal nature of healing someone he didn't know was something he'd likely have had a taste of by now if he'd stayed at Arashigakure and served as a combat medic as planned... but there was no use dwelling on any of it now. "So, do we have a plan of action here, or are we just making enemies as we go along?" He asked to no one in particular.

▱▰▱Satoshi continued flying the ship as it maintained the giant dust release barrier around it from Soyeon's technique. The pirate captain watched the barrier disintegrate bugs and birds that collided with the outer shell of the highly destructive barrier. Satoshi ignored every other soul on board as his eye widened harrowingly. Watching the gap close between the bow of his ship and the castle so quickly while still being so far away was maddening yet exhilarating. He allowed a tear to be loosed from his eye as he remembered the last time he saw his mother's face and heard her voice. The rhythmic whirr of the airship became a roar as he accelerated at the last moment. He originally intended to disembark from his ship and slaughter all of them personally but his impulses overtook him. The ship flew through the central structure of Wadatsumi no Yōsai. It crashed directly into the middle towers and left behind a colossal wreck. The ship's speed along with the powerful barrier eroded and reduced the building's structural integrity to ash as the entirety of the ship cleaved through it with ease. Satoshi would swing the wheel around and slam the sides of his barrier coated ship into several other buildings. Yatagarasu remained perched just under the chakra barrier's ceiling and attempted to keep his balance during the rough ride. The massive crow grinned watching Satoshi exact his vengeance with such brutal efficiency. As the dragon approached their ship Satoshi would fly in the other direction away from it and back toward the Iron Wall as the remains of the buildings smoldered behind them.

Takao woke with a headache, turning to see Shion leaning over him. He sat up and tried to give her a reassuring grin. For all the s**t he was in, he knew that things would be okay if he was with her. And he'd missed her so much that he couldn't even fault her for knocking him out. He asked about their travels home.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Of course he'd be joking about this; Takao was never one to play a serious hand, or at least he'd never presented himself that way. Honestly it annoyed her, the way he could just blow off everything. He couldn't even take their reunion seriously... but, as irksome as it may have been, that's what she loved about him. "I havn't even begun to use force." she said coldly, her mismatched eyes leering through the slits in her Anbu mask. "Now get up. We've got a long ways to travel and we need to get going soon if we're to make any headway in saving face with Toso."
She kept her tone professional and her comments short and curt, much to her own shagrin. Honestly, she'd wanted nothing more to just hold him, tell him it's gonna be alright... that he had nothing to worry about and that they'd just return home and forget this whole thing. "Liked to" and "needed to" are two different things, and, right now, she needed to keep her cool. She was still in enemy territory with someone who was effectively a prisoner, no matter how willing he may have been. There would be a time to be gushy, but this wasn't it.
He was put off by her professionalism only for a moment before his relaxed demeanor returned. He understood she needed to do her job, so he wasn't going to give her any extra grief... beyond a little teasing, maybe. "Yes, ma'am," he said and rose to his feet, heading away from the foreign territory and back towards home.
As they walked, he couldn't help but give her another glance. "I like the mask," he said conversationally. "Am I supposed to pretend I don't know its you who is under there when we get home? I don't want you to get in trouble." For the first time in a while, his face was perfectly serious. For all the chaos he'd caused, he didn't want to do anything worse.

▱▰▱The entire group of Akaran's supporters disappeared from the gardens and reappeared outside of the Seiryu clan castle in a blink. The general let go of Seika's and Akaran's hands before speaking up. "Welcome to Wadatsumi no Yōsai, the ancestral castle of the Seiryu Clan." The castle consisted of large and imposing spires with a dragon flying above. They turned around and began leading the group up the pathway toward the imposing building. "As a reminder, this place has existed for centuries. We're on the coast in the northern Iron Country. Over here is the frigid Aisu Bay and hundreds of miles in that direction is the Snow Country." It was far from a tropical paradise as there were visible glaciers in the sea. There were also frigid streams below the hill that supported the castle. "The castle was mostly abandoned for some time when Seizo exiled the Seiryu clan. Then it was destroyed when the Prophet pirates attacked it. Some clan members tragically perished in the attack but thankfully it wasn't as many as there could've been. Once the Seiryu clan returned from exile, the castle was repaired using advanced fuuinjutsu. That happened last month." It was clear that the castle was far more inhabited than it had been for a long time with clan members finally settling back in. "It now reminds me of what the castle was like when I grew up here. A full castle, and a noble clan restored. Right, Seika?" Haruki hoped that this might shake Seika out of any nervousness that she might be feeling returning to this place after so long. The general knew that Seika might be experiencing similar memories of halcyon days from her youth. Haruki remembered playing with their younger castle on the castle steps.
▱▰▱They walked beside Seika and Akaran as they climbed the path to the castle. "I know how you're feeling. While the clan was in exile, I remember what it was like telling everyone who I really am. I told them that sometimes I feel feminine, other times I feel masculine. The Chiru were supportive, but many of the Seiryu have never come to accept it. But they still have to respect me because of my status as a samurai general. I felt like I got a little more acceptance each day. The same can happen for you too, cousin." Haruki smiled in support and continued walking. They stopped once they reached the door. They turned around to the others in attendance. "Alright, my friends, we're here to voice our support for Seika. I encourage all of you to speak up if you feel the need to, but always be respectful." They smiled at the others, truly believing that what each of them had to say was valuable.
▱▰▱They turned back around as the Seiryu guards stared at them. Haruki bowed and the guards bowed in return, seemingly out of unease but respect for the general. The guards also seemed unnerved by Akaran's presence, but they would not stand in Haruki's way. The general opened the massive doors and walked into the dining hall. It was meal time and the majority of the clan was gathered. Tensions were high but Haruki walked in bravely, as if facing the field of battle. "Great Seiryu clan! I have found who you knew as Seiryu Seiichi!" Haruki's voice echoed through the massive hall as the Seiryu stared intensely at the group who entered. "Seiryu Seika, the heiress of the Shimamoto branch, has returned! Based on her position in the Shimamoto, she has the strongest claim to the throne of the Wadatsumi no Yōsai castle. The throne has remained long empty since our return from exile. As one of the three great generals and the highest-ranking samurai of the Seiryu clan, I support the legitimacy of her claim and I think you should all listen to what she has to say." Haruki knew that they were putting Seika on the spot, but they knew that Seika had to be assertive in pressing her claim to the clan head position. They turned around and whispered to Seika. "I believe in you." They smiled in support before bowing deeply and standing to the side.
▱▰▱Before Seika could speak, a clan elder stood from his seat and pointed his finger at the group. "I've told everyone all about what Seiichi has become. We don't want him here! ▱▰▱Akaran remembered grabbing his ally's hand and other members of the group. In one instant, he was immediately transported to the Seiryu castle on the northern coast of the Land of Iron. The castle was impressive and Akaran was amazed as this was his first time seeing such impressive architecture in person. The water dragon flying above was particularly interesting. The shogun realized that he had a job to do though and worried about what Seika must be feeling. If Akaran was nervous about approaching the Seiryu, he could only imagine what Seika must have been feeling. He was grateful that he had Seika and the general's support. He knew that they would need the Seiryu's allegiance going forward to bring peace to Zaishin. The general's intelligence was impressive to Akaran and he was glad that he had such a strategic mind on his side to navigate the various complexities of Zaishin's politics.
▱▰▱Akaran walked beside Haruki and Seika up the path. He nodded in acknowledgment of Haruki stating that the group should try to be respectful. The shogun doubted that such courtesy would be returned by the Seiryu if Eiji's earlier behavior in the Eternal Flame Temple was any indication. He was impressed by Haruki's bravery and eloquent words in putting his support behind Seika becoming the Seiryu clan's head. Akaran stood to the side but was strong in his support and solidarity for Seika. An elder of the clan threw vile insults Seika's way. The shogun worried for Seika's wellbeing and immediately spoke up in support. "Lord Sei-ry-u, I watched Lady Sei-kah fight bravely against Machigai in the civil war. She's a true samurai and will be a great leader for this great clan." Akaran was resolute in his view. He did worry that his word held little sway with the clan so he elaborated. "Everyone! Please give Sei-kah the respect she deserves and at least hear her out. She'll do the same for all of you. With Sei-kah as your leader, she'll be allied with the Sei-na-ru En-jo. Your clan needs this if you want to go back to your former glory." Akaran tried to speak reasonably with the clan. He knew that the Seiryu were looking to re-establish themselves and that going along with Seika's plan would be the best way to do that after the clan's struggles in recent years.

Wadatsumi no Yōsai. Seika looked up at the castle for the first time in what felt like several lifetimes. Before, she had been a vastly different person, one of many children being escorted around as she would visit her parents back before the war had claimed them. But there was a certain sense of nostalgia as she walked with the rest of the group into her clan's home. What sparse people there were in the streets would catch a glimpse of the large group that had been strolling through the castle grounds. Seika had kept her gaze down while her stoic gaze remained true. Inside of her, a storm was raging. She worried about the reception her arrival would have on the Seiryu, knowing full well of what they may have in mind for her. But there was one person that had always scared her the most. The very same person that had made her life a living hell since the death of her parents and Kenji.
Haruki's voice pulled Seika from her thoughts as she looked up at the General and the rest of the group. "R-Right…I was hoping that we could maybe tour around, had the circumstances been more fortunate." They continued to walk forward as their fellow Seiryu came closer and offered some words of encouragement. They were heeded well, at least, Seika wished to do so. But that fear inside of her heart was already taking its toll on her. A sigh escaped from the Shimamoto's lips while her lavender eyes rose up to meet Haruki's. "It's easy for you to say. You're not a different person from when you were last here. Everyone here remembers the worthless brother of the Seiryu revolt's leader. I doubt anybody will recognize me." She spoke no more while walking along with Haruki up until the group would make their arrival known as Haruki worked his magic to open the door to the dining hall. Seika put on a brave face as she moved inside with everyone else.
Everything was as it was when she left. The memories of coming here with her brother after training, when she would follow her parents in and rest on her father's lap while he told her stories of the lands he had been to. The Seiryu inside had all looked up at the General presenting her to them. Her unsteady demeanor was visible to all, although she'd clear her throat and try her best to garner support. "I have returned after my assignment by the late Lord Kinryu to foster a relationship with the neighboring villages after the Jashinist attack long ago. But I return to a home lacking kinship, the five noble houses divided where there was once unity. It's time we ended this senseless conflict and put our effort elsewhere."
But then, that voice. The voice that would crush her entire being into a fine dust. Her uncle, as unruly and offensive as ever. Even back when she had been a child, Seika had constantly been at the receiving end of his commentary. The abuse had worsened after her brother's death leading the revolt, but Seika would still have to hold him in high regard, being the last remaining immediate family member. The group could even see her being had changed as he spoke up against her. Seika's hands shook while her expression worsened. Her gut felt like it was being eaten alive from the inside as every insult would land on her. She could feel her chest beating faster and faster while all eyes were on her with this drama laid bare on the table.
Even as Akiran would vouch for her, she was clearly affected by the poison-laced words from a family member. Yet she remained quiet as Seiitaigen had devastated her confidence in her abilities. "Ah-I apologize for not contacting the Seiryu sooner, but extraneous cir-circumstances had taken my attention. The Jashinist attacks have been more frequent since the events of the meeting between villages…" She hated feeling like this, her sturdiness ruined and the pit of despair swallowing her whole. Seika quietly wished that Musica had been present to at least give some kind of sage advice. They were polar opposites in terms of mannerisms and raising, but Seika admired her bold and blunt attitude. The ability to think for one's self instead of going against family and tradition, to speak your mind without regard of who would think about it.
"I c-can't do this." She whispered to Haruki, "He'll never accept me. I'm not Kenji or my parents. I'm just some monster to him."

Sight grants visibility to micro-movements of muscle groups, sight spanning the entire topic within a straight line. Genjutsu effecting the heightened sense are able to be detected upon being casted, causing one tier less in mental stress.

The user gains the ability to use Somersault to evade once every three post without it consuming an activation, but only against opponents whose body rank is at or lower than the user’s.
▱▰▱ Perfecting Balance | Rank C | Training Due to their various training requiring parkour style actions, the user is more stable. This training allows the user to withstand off balancing effects or knock back effects as though they were one rank lower in strength.
▱▰▱ Total Concentration: Water Breathing [ Sō Nōdo: Mizu Kokyū ] | Rank E | Training The Seiryu clan's ability to master water is only one side of their coin, in addition, each clansman has learned to control their breathing perfectly with this training. This controlled breathing allows the user to fortify their mental capacity and delay the effects of physical pain for a a single post. This does not have any effect on status or poisons.
▱▰▱ Expert → The user has achieved a sense of mastery and focus unlike others and are known as an Expert, a dedicated focus over a weapon they use to near perfection. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, the katana. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. They gain a [+1] boost to both speed and agility & techniques cost [5] less Chakra and/or Stamina per rank of the technique when wielding attacks with their specialized weapon in attack or defense. Within holding hands and getting body flickered into the castle of the Seiryu, her focus is on Seika and helping her in every way she can. She would listen to what they said about the landscape and as well as history. Though the word exile did certainly perk her ears a bit, the very word and status that Haruka was put underneath. If it wasn't for that at all, Haruka could be alive today, almost like a forbidden word to Samatha today. Though she was in awe that Fuuinjutsu was used to rebuild the castle and happened within last month. The lines of respectfulness and acceptance have taken root in the conversation too, something she has to keep in mind dealing with the Seiryu. As they entered the hall and with a great shout of proclaim, the General Haruki had what must be truth and should be brought forth. Though one elder spoke up and insulted Seika and called her by a different name. Is that a old name, who she was, who she isn't now? It doesn't matter, but insulting family to Samatha is just unbelievable.
"Even what you say is true, Seiryu Elder, Seika came back to face all of her clan, to fulfill what she should. To me, She hasn't lost or broken the bushido, she needed friends such as I and others to guide her. If she truly had broken the Bushido, she wouldn't of helped in the Civil war. Yes the Bushido is important to every Samurai, but there's more to that. It takes heart too, the heart to defend your homeland from your enemy and to return home as well. Sure, i can even say myself that i haven't been properly indulged into Zaishin's culture but i still call myself a Samurai, so can Seika too. If it wasn't for Seika's support in the Civil war, things could of been worse." She still has so much more to say but now she has to get to the serious part, the part about the Elder insulting Seika, to her that angers her quite a bit.
"Elder of the Seiryu, insulting clan members is so out of character and outdated in the times we are in. Why continue such pointless bickering when you should be happy to see Seika home regardless? It should be like a homecoming, the return of a son or daughter to such a strong clan of water like this one. Seika has ever right to be here, to be able to come back home with nothing but happy cheers and welcoming words." She would look sternly into the Elder's eyes who insulted Seika first before so many others had jumped in agreement. "I will fight you if i have to, to get my point across, for Seika's sake and for the Seiryu as well." She knows one thing, she will fight that elder if she must, Seika's uncle, and win in the fight to gain respect for Seika. Yet she hopes that her uncle does recognize Samatha's determination to help Seika, regardless of his insulting like mindset similar to the Commander.
Seika doesn't need to carry all this burden all by herself, Samatha will share in that burden. In every way she can, she can't let Haruka's home go into more painful times. All that did was kill Haruka, and Raiu would have answers to why, one clan Samatha actually wants to confront. Though she does feel her anger calm to a ice cooling like point, its almost like standing for up Seika helps her focus what's important and not on the dwelling hunger of power for the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no action for that specific instance of kai.} Signature Style: [ Light Touch Style ] ▱▰▱ Cross Class or Specialization: → Bloodline – Genjutsu: The user is able to combine their bloodline techniques and genjutsu together for one action by using the bloodline technique as a trigger by effecting the target's senses. Awoken Sage Mode Abilities
• Entering the Awoken Sage Mode requires no cost but consumes a single action.
• Morphed physical characteristics based on their animal's image.
• All stats of the user are increased to [10] for the duration of sage mode. For example, if you are out of sage mode with [4] in each stat and you enter sage mode then each stat becomes [10] and reverts to [4] once again when sage mode is deactivated.
• Able to meditate, consuming an action to regenerate 225 nature chakra in one post.
• Sensory abilities granted by the non-awoken stage are now doubled in range.
• Upon learning Awoken Sage Mode, the user gains 5 custom techniques that may be used only when in Awoken Mode. For human sages, their customs must revolve around their class or maruton techniques.
• Both Sages can enhance their ninjutsu with Overwhelming. This overwhelming is capable of affecting jutsu up to S+ as opposed to normal disciplines limitation of only being able to apply it to S and below. This overwhelming can be applied to any two of the user’s elements by paying a cost of half nature chakra and half regular chakra. Human sages may do this with any two elemental natures (including Maruton) of their choice, while animal may only apply feat this to elemental natures that they share with their animal. Once chosen these elements cannot be changed.

In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost.
▱▰▱ Melee Prodigy The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active.
▱▰▱ Piercing Accuracy | The clansman is more proficient than his fellow clan members at striking tenketsu. One's gentle fist application allows them to reduce 1.5 times the amount of chakra spent in a juken strike instead of 1.25. For example, if one spends 80 chakra on a gentle fist technique, the attack robs the target of 120 instead of the 100 normal clansmen would reduce.
▱▰▱ Purest Lineage | The clansman's thoroughbred lineage allows them access to the Byakugan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation. In addition, should they unlock the Tenseigan, they may have 50% less reserves to maintain it than other clan members and may also activate the Tenseigan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation.

Katsuki ascended the path towards the Seiryu castle the frigid air, and inhospitable environment tugged at his emotions and soon his thoughts turned to his own home, Kaminari no Kizuato, the place that held his deepest roots and memories. A bittersweet mix of emotions swelled within him. The castle was a testament to the resilience and strength of the Raiu clan, carved into the mountainside with utmost precision. It was a place where he had grown up, where his swordsmanship skills had been honed, and where he had witnessed the unwavering dedication of his clan in battling the yokai that plagued their lands. The name "Lightning Scar" held a special meaning for Katsuki. It reminded him of the scorched rocks that surrounded the castle, a symbol of the powerful lightning techniques practiced by the Raiu clan. The thunderous clashes and crackling electricity that reverberated within those walls had shaped him into the warrior he had become. But alongside pride and nostalgia, there was also a sense of longing and a touch of melancholy. Kaminari no Kizuato was a harsh and treacherous domain, with the frigid air and infertile terrain posing constant challenges. The constant threat of yokai, especially the menacing oni, kept the Raiu clan in a perpetual state of vigilance and battle-readiness. It was a double-edged sword, for their reputation as the strongest swords in the Iron Country brought both respect and danger.
As he journeyed towards the Seiryu castle, Katsuki couldn't help but carry the memories and values of Kaminari no Kizuato within him. It fueled his determination, reminding him of the legacy he carried as a Raiu warrior. The sense of duty and loyalty to his clan was deeply ingrained in his being, pushing him to excel and protect the honor of his home. The emotions within him were a swirling storm, a mix of gratitude, longing, and an unyielding sense of pride for the home that had shaped him into the samurai he was today. He couldn't help, but wonder if he were to return now with his loyalties as they were if the gates of his home would even open up to him.
Luckily he didn't not have to dwell on such dour thoughts to heavy some would say for a mere child to be pondering. For as it would happen as they drew closer to the castle Katsuki's mind was taken off his own thoughts as he saw the dragon flying above the spires that rose so high into the sky. He couldn't help but be in awe of the majestic creature, its scaled form soaring gracefully through the sky. The dragon seemed to embody the spirit of the Seiryu clan, fierce and untamed, yet embodying a sense of ancient wisdom. Its presence evoked a sense of power and reverence, leaving Katsuki with a deep admiration for the creature and a newfound appreciation for the heritage and legacy of the Seiryu clan.
Katsuki stood among the group when the finally entered into Seiryu Castle proper, his gaze thoughtful and his demeanor respectful no one would be able to find fault in his decorum. As others voiced their opinions and engaged in discussions about Seika's claim to leadership, Katsuki chose to remain quiet, his mind turning towards contemplation while still keeping an ear on the conversations around. He understood the significance of this moment, not only for Seika but also for the intertwined histories of the Raiu and Seiryu clans it would do no good for him a mere child to interrupt such dealings especially as a child of the Raiu. The rivalry between the two clans had existed for generations, rooted in a deep sense of pride and a desire to prove superiority. Katsuki couldn't help but reflect on the similarities and differences between the two clans. Both held a reputation for strength and skill, with the Raiu known as the strongest swords in the Iron Country, while the Seiryu boasted a long-standing lineage and a respected place among the five great clans with their own skills in swordsmanship. Katsuki was no stranger to the constant back, and forth between the masters of their two respective clan styles to determine who was indeed the stronger style of swordsmanship. Not to mention the most recent turmoil between the two clans.
Moving beyond just the clans in the quietness of his thoughts, Katsuki acknowledged the shared burden of expectation that rested on Seika's shoulders. As a member of the Raiu clan, he understood the weight of familial and clan legacy, the relentless drive to prove oneself and protect the honor of one's name. The rivalry between their clans was not something to be taken lightly, but Katsuki recognized that in this moment, unity and cooperation were essential for the betterment of both clans. With a resolute expression, he silently vowed to support Seika and find a way to bridge the gap between the Raiu and Seiryu, forging a new path forward for both clans.
Musica closed her eyes and leaned back against the couch, readying herself for what came next. Her replacement auto-mail clinked as the engineer from Arashi placed the prosthetic into place against her shoulder. The cold metal felt weirdly refreshing against her sore body, but the shinobi knew it wouldn’t last for long. “..and, as you know by now, the next part is to reattach the nerves to the arm for fully natural control.”The engineer continued. He did a good job of hiding it, but Musica could tell there was slight irritation in his voice. Probably due to her leaving Arashi in a rush without the proper upgrades and making him come all the way out to Zaishin after she’d gotten into a major fight. “So when I count down, brace yourself. Three…”
“Yeah, I got it.” Musica replied, ignoring the slight gut twisting anxiety she felt about the oncoming pain. “Can you just make it gentle this ti-GAH!” She hadn’t been paying attention to the man’s counting, so she wasn’t prepared for an indescribable shock to travel all throughout her body. It was instantaneous but man did it feel like it lasted forever. Once her metal arm was attached and the pain faded to reasonable levels, the white hair girl rose to her feet. She threw her white jacket over her shoulders, just barely covering the scars on her shoulder and chest. Musica let out a groan as she rotated her fresh arm at the shoulder. At the same time, the engineer leaned back in his chair and silently lit up a cigarette. “Good work as always, Doc. I’ll make sure to send you the bill.” She said cheerfully, and the man just waved it off. “So next things next…” Musica blinked and looked around. “Where’d Seika get to after all this…”
“I heard she was taken to the Seiryu Castle.” Doc replied, blowing out a cloud of smoke. “If you run you can probably-” The man looked forward in time to see Musica disappear with a cold breeze. “-Make it.”
—------- The Seiryu Clan castle felt weirdly… familiar to Musica. The frigid air and the arctic sea brushed against her senses like a phantom memory that she couldn’t place. As she walked up to the castle entrance, the shinobi flashed her headband alongside her APD badge to the guards. She didn’t say much, she just hoped that the Zaishin and Arashi relations were good enough for her to follow after Seika. The two guards looked a little disgruntled but stepped aside from Musica to enter. After getting directions from an attendant, Musica followed the path that Seika and others had, stopping just outside of the dining hall, leaning against the frame with her hands in her jacket pockets.. She was able to see a pink haired man making an announcement, and a small smile formed on the shinobi’s face as the news reached her through the doorway. Seika, head of the Seiryu… She knew that the female samurai was nervous about returning back to her clan, but it warmed the police chief’s heart to see that the reception was more than accepting.
At least until a familiar voice echoed through the hall, making Musica instinctively kick up from the doorframe and step inside. Seiitaigen, Seika’s uncle, was running his mouth again. Whenever he opened his mouth in reference to Seika, Musica felt an anger well up in her. “Oi, Player Two!” She yelled as she got closer to the group of samurai Seika was a part of, ignoring everyone else but her friend. “If you’ve got something to say about Seika, then why don’t you come here and say it to her face! Or say it to my fist!” Musica held up her metal fist, clenched in anger, as she glared at the older Seiryu. “And this applies to anyone else.” She added, scanning her eyes over the angrier members of the clan.

Clan's past weighs heavy, Striving to find acceptance, Courage stands steadfast.
The majesty of Seiryu Castle was quite the sight he had never been in person before, but he had certainly heard it described in a myriad of different poems, and tales so to see it now well he was enjoying it. Not to mention the sight of the ice flows sparkling in the few rays of sun that managed to escape the cloudy skies way above the frigid oceans. He had to admit while the poems, and tales did get rather close they were no substitute for the sight of the real thing especially when it came to describe the lands stalwart protector that even now flew high above the castle grounds. Following after the others Nori walked in his characteristic fashion swaying side to side with each step as they made their way to their destination. All the while he was thinking up of more haikus to fill his journal that was until they final had the audience with the other Seiryu Clan Members.
Nori had originally been planning on remaining in the back as it seemed Katsuki was already doing, and staying silent he was after all just an Okappiki. However at the words of the Elder Seiitaigen he could not keep idle his tongue not when his teachings as a Priest demand he take action. He stepped forward moving to stand at the side of his Shogun as from the folds of his sleeves he produced a string of prayer beads made of polished crystalline salt from the mountains of his home. "Elders of the Seiryu Clan, I know many of you to be devote followers of Tenryu Shinko , but also of Ninshu especially the ways of Water so as Priest of Tenryu Shinko and a follower of Ninshu myself I ask that you listen to this humble servant of our faith." He paused for a moment looking around at all the presiding members of the clan before them as he moved the beads between his fingers. "Is it not in the nature of water to be fluid ,it changes it's shape to fit the vessel in which it is to be contained in, water is purifying in it's simplicity I know many of my fellow priests who preach say the way of water in the ninshu sect is to focus on peace, and resolution to flexible in mind, body, and spirit not rigid, and stubborn about your beliefs." With a flourish of his hands he points towards Seika his beads moving with his hand motion to further emphasize the point.
"I would dare say Seika here as she is now best speaks to the very essence of water I have just spoken of more than anyone I know, so I ask as a humble Prist that you the Elders, and members of the great Seiryu Clan to look within yourselves, to see past prejudice, and stubbornness, to embody the ways of water as you have all your lives." As Nori finished he bowed in respect towards the presiding members of the clan, before in turn bowing to his Shogun, and Seika as well. Speaking a bit more softly he turned his face away from the Seiryu clan as he looked at Akaran with a bit of a sheepish grin on his face. "I hope I didn't overstretch my position as a Priest too much, Young Lord."
