The office of the Tanikage, currently held by Sasaki Togeru. Despite being filled with dozens of different plants, this office is of modest size and large enough to fit around eight people.

Flying into the window of the Tanikage, was a bird of quite an unsightliness. With long spindly legs, beady eyes, a long beak, and bunches of untidy feathers; made him look like a dirty floor mop than any recognizable avian. Why such a creature ghastly creature would even be wasting it's time here would be a mystery to all but the tanikage herself that is. For locked in its talons was a nondescript burlap sack. Payment for services rendered.

tabAfter placing her tuckered little Genin down, Usagi sat down at Muzon’s-her- desk. It felt a lot bigger than it looked. Usagi absent ran her hands along the arms of the chair as she looked around. It wasn’t the kind of seat she was used to sitting in. Was it always going to feel like this? Or was she going to get used to the crushing pressure that it came with? Did she even want to get used to it? Usagi shook her head a little and turned her attention back to more pressing matters. There was work to be done while she waited for Hasaki to wake. The Kage took a small sigh and started to sift through the mountain of paperwork Muzon had left behind. “Thanks, Kuza. Your very presence in this village is a blessing.” Usagi said while scanning the documents. Lots of financial documents by the looks of it. Even a business request for some kind of… entertainment business? She’d have to file that one away for later. Presently there were funds unallocated, and lots of them.
Speaking of funds, Usagi was pleasantly surprised by a visitor. A rather unsightly looking bird ungracefully shot through her open window. It managed to crash onto her desk and disrupt all of the paperwork on top, which Usagi couldn’t help but feel a small amount of vindication towards. “Thank you very much~” Usagi beamed as she gently took the sack and looked within its contents. An expression of shock covered her face as she quickly closed the bag. That was something she’d have to deal with later.
After the bird left the room, the ferret and oni filled office was silent for a little aside from the scratching of pen to paper as Usagi signed her name more times than she ever had. After a little bit the words of her name were starting to look a little silly, which is when she decided she needed a break. Just in time too, as Hasaki had just woken. The Kage listened to her Genin’s apology and oath. “Try not to sound so excited about it.” Usagi answered dryly without looking up from her papers. To be truthful, Hasaki’s comment earlier about the woman’s bloodlines was still getting under her skin. It only confirmed her belief that she wasn’t selected for her individuality. It was another thing to take care of later. Usagi let out a breath to calm herself before she made herself more angry. She put down her pen with a snap and a little more force than she meant to. The Kage looked up at Hasaki from her chair. “I’m sorry not treating you with the respect you deserve.” She said after a few moments of silence. “You obviously work hard, and I’m a lucky Kage to have someone like you on my side.” Then she shifted her look to the Oni. “You, too, Kuza. I’d be honored if you’d stay in Tani for a while to help out.”
Usagi was having a hard time getting her thoughts together. Just how many days had she gone without sleep? She was exhausted. But if it wasn’t one thing keeping her from bed, it was another. At that exact moment, the door to her office flew open with a bang. A Jonin long and shaggy black hair, Muto, barged in. “Usagi-I mean, Lord Tanikage.”Yeah that’s gonna take some time getting used to.“We have sightings of some strange activity in the village.”
Usagi was silent for a moment and gave Muto an unamused look as she cocked an eyebrow. “You’ll need to be more specific. Strange activity is the village, Muto.”
“Y-yes, ma’am.” He stuttered. “People have been complaining about someone never seen before in Tani, placing weird symbols on doors. They’re increasingly concerned.”
Usagi let out another breath through her teeth. Was this really such an issue? “Okay, okay, fine.” Usagi rose to her feet and suddenly the exhaustion took over and she almost faltered. “Hasaki, Kuza. Would you kindly accompany me to this strange individual? Consider it your first mission.”
Usagi grabbed her Kage cloak and wrapped it around her waist loosely before leaving her office. Hopefully with the other two in tow, out to Tanigakure.

Her left hand snaking into her pocket as she voluntarily relaxed herself at this point, attempting to ignore her healing injury and pay attention to Usagi. Not bothering to even acknowledge the bird that arrived width anything more than a flitting look with her eyes for a split instant, more interested in Usagi than whatever had been delivered, although the expression of shock caused a fleeting amount of intrigue. A subtle change in the air behind her gave Hasaki the insight that her sister was away to leave and did so, lowering the amount of Hasakis in the room to two more than need be, the real one craning her head to look at them out the corner of an eye to indicate her preference that they take their original form. The look she gave achieved the result she wanted as the other two went away into the corner of the office near the door and curled up together, jealous that Seth was getting to hang out right beside her and was absent minded to scratching him behind his large, cute ears.
Whilst watching Usagi go about her work with studying eyes, her piercing and generally unfriendly resting expression was breaking into a momentary gaze of puzzlement as an apology was given for not taking their bout seriously. Nodding her head in acknowledgement and stating without showing any particular resistance or appreciation in her tone ”It’s fine, I learned a useful lesson as a result. No grudge held.” Her casual short response partly just her way of communicating and partly due to the fact she was contemplating how clearly out of practice she was, hard worker or not and thus the compliment felt lost on her and was only addressed internally. About that point she was about to be useful, noting that as valid as the paperwork Usagi was attacking, it was not any of the pushed emergency documents and paperwork that needed going over from requests and details that flooded in due to the eclipse issue, Hasaki reaching toward the clipboard of documents she’d separated and handed Usagi before their spar, although the attempt to bring this up was distracted by someone entering the office.
Upon entry Hasaki shot Muto the look she gave most of the other shinobi in the village, it wasn’t hostile but showed a level of judgement and accusation, implicating a wariness in her and making her distrusting and highly selective nature in people rather obvious.... although most would see it as her just being unfriendly. The look she gave him had an extra dose of venom as the words “Kick the door, you might successfully break it down then!” Clearly having been started by the sudden and forceful entry. Stepping aside and making sure she stood in a position that he might be aware of her penetrating stare, not interrupting either of them with words of her own, only talking when Usagi assigned Hasaki to assist her along with Kuza. ”Seth, Jill, Hakushi... Work time!!” She announced to her companions, jealously and enjoyment of attention being displaced for later as they all seems to smarten up a good amount. Just before leaving Hasaki fed a few words toward the Jonin, her voice portraying annoyance and a level of impoliteness but barely worse than how she generally spoke at people ”And ********, Muto, really?!? People open the door like that when someone’s committed murder not graffiti! Theatrics aren’t earnest, just annoying.” She chided him, rank gap meaning little to the Yozen unless it was made a factor, the fact she was now on the clock under Usagis direct instruction though, Muto would doubtfully try to stop her and try a lecture about rank or respect and even if she was going to ignore him after she had said her piece, striding after Usagi at three paces behind, each of her enormous ferrets following behind her besides Jill who stuck beside Hasaki.

Hameline at this point didn’t care what was going on, she’d come because her kids collected her to witness this fight and that was about it. She of coarse stuck around till she was sure Hasaki was fine but that seemed to be the case and thus without warning she body flickered elsewhere without disturbing the air in the room. The massive forty foot scythe of Hamelines that was leaning on the outside of the fortresses courtyard wall would burst into smoke a while later, summoned by its owner.

As she followed after Usagi she heard a popping noise, which indicated one of her scrolls had activated within her pockets. She reached her hand into the pocket and withdrew the small communication scroll and opened it up, reading the contents out loud but with low volume ”Sister, damaging explosions are coming from my forest. Considering the village is on higher alert I don’t trust this. I’ll have you determine what should be done in a second.” She repeated the message word for word, raising an eyebrow in concern and stating a little more loudly ”Hey, just thought you’d like to know, there are explosions in the forest it would app-“ her sentence would cut out at that moment as she vanished into a puff of smoke as she had been summoned without proper warning mid sentence by Hameline, who was unaware of her sister current job.

tabUsagi was relieved that the fight with Clem was over. Truth be told, she was still extremely tired from the events of the last few days. So she enthusiastically grabbed Clem and disappeared with her in an instant and a ‘pop.’ The wood clone stayed behind with Hasaki for a few moments.
“I know you’re not super thrilled with my offer to Clem,” she said. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked thoughtfully to the sky. “But you saw her sword, right? Somehow she got her hands on one of Legendary Blades. You’d have to admit, having something like that on our side is quite the prize.” Clonesagi turned to Hasaki with a wide grin and placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Wouldn’t you think so?” Whether or not Hasaki responded wouldn’t matter too much to what happened next. The clone focused her chakra and, much like the original had just done, disappeared with Hasaki and her pets.
Upon arrival, Hasaki would see Usagi kneeling before Clem, who was sat down in a chair. The Kage’s hand was glowing a light green color as she focused chakra through. She ran that hand up along Clem’s arm, slowly healing her injuries. “So Clem, while I got you here, why don’t you tell me everything you know about that murder?” Despite the subject, Usagi was remaining quite calm.
Stamina: 1770 Chakra: 1610 Corrupt nature; 500 This had to be the second time she had been dragged to a kages office like this, how funny the two times she had been beat were both at the hands of a kage. Honestly she couldnt tell if it was luck or misfortune that kept landing her in places like this. All the same though she thought at the very least she could get healed up here rather then expand chakra to repair herself. It was a instant heal but rather taxing on her reserves. Getting teleported to the office the clone to tagged along to act as her voice.
Time passed and as the kage healed up Clems injuries she finally asked the prize winning question. It was funny that she assumed Clem knew anything important, in all honesty the murder was really just an excuse to kill the uchiha brat she atfirst thought was nanyo another uchiha who was a rebel. Had it not been for that Clem would of ignored this place all together so she could get back to the leaf and report back to the boss aout the dead sun among all the info she learned about jashin and the other gods and demingods. Clems clone would have this same thought process as she would speak up on behalf of clem" Hmm not much to say really i happened to see the body getting strung up by a young boy with bright colored hair and strange attire...looked like ritual sacrifice so assumed he was a jashinist so i attacked since i was told to bring those types in for questioning by my old boss...though guess it turned out he was a uchiha so theres that and in the end i pinned him up on a tree not to far from where my clone was destroyed. Depite not laying a had on the br...kid. " Shrugging her shoulders the clone went on" assumed she could of been an ally of the uchiha seeing how she was stalking me in the shadows and only attacked after i took down the uchiha boy so thought the timing was anit to convenient that a village ninja would show up but ive been wrong before....oh right the bone fence will dissipate within a few weeks till then it should keep your back door secure atleast for awhile."
Uninterrupted wandering of the streets finally ended with him finding the most important looking building hopefully housing the most important person of any village. Their kage or whoever that may be whatever name they chose to take. He knew a little of how villages like this worked but not all of it seeing as he was never part of one. The white haired fellow would find his way into the building. Perhaps people were busy and that's why no one stopped the random stranger who was just walking in. Maybe it was his lack of presence as he wasn't being overtly...well...arrogant right this moment. Who knows, but he eventually found himself at the most important looking door...so to speak and opening it to walk in. He wasn't particularly sure what he was expecting when he walked in but it wasn't the cluttered mess that he found. Three people standing...maybe not all of them standing at least existing within the cluttered office.
Iksin scratched the back of his head a bit confused. He wondered what happened...did something occur in the office? Why did it look like it did? Weren't these kinds of people suppose to be...well...more organized? Whatever didn't concern him particularly right this moment. Of the three people within the cluttered office there was one who was doing...whatever they were doing. Another sitting in a chair while the other seemed to be healing them. Perhaps it was rushed? Shouldn't she be healed in a more...hospital like place?
Oh well, none of this was particularly his actual concern right this moment. He would speak quickly after thinking about that stuff. Probably having stood there for at least three seconds. "So, this building looked particularly important. The door looked important. Hoping that one of you three happen to be the kage, or leader, or whatever you call yourself of this place. Gotta warn you of something." He spoke not necessarily quickly, but also quickly all the same. He wasn't really looking to give information to people that might not need it. Last thing he needed was to cause panic and chaos right now. Needed to at least make sure that he was talking to the right people first.
Hajime waited in the reception area, leaned against a wall, waiting to be approved to speak with the Tanikage. He needed work, he needed a mission. The man side and held his face, thumb brushing over red stubble on his cheeks. He really was disheveled. Maybe he should have stayed at a tavern and gotten washed up first. "Baaaah..." Hajime retrieves his flask from an inner pocket of his jacket, and takes another swig. Just waiting.
"Mr. Asuhara, you can head inside." His head would snap to her gaze, and give a curt nod. He slipped into the office and waited by the door, listening and waiting to be spoken to. His Arashi headband shined from the overhead light, wrapped around his arm.

Hameline, Seth and Hakushi had made off before Clonesagi had started giving Hasaki reasons toward the woman’s value, Hasaki just looking at her and rolled her eyes in non-resistant displeasure but wouldn’t argue with her superior as doing so would be pointless. There was also the fact that besides the... let’s say unruly attitude, Clem was indeed extremely skilled and did happen to wield a very famous sword, Hasakis eyes met Usagiclones grin and gave a more neutral expression and a very minor smile, a head tilt and eyebrow raise to indicate she was willing see how things go. It was very possible that this would be missed due to the transition of being teleported to Usagis offices with Jill and the legendary sword wielding foreigner, Hasakis face back to its standard hard and uninterested expression.
The hard expression didn’t last as Jill immediately went to thrust herself in between Hasaki and Clem as her owner tapped her ontop of her head with her flute, guiding her back to her side and scratching her behind the ears to make her feel assured that it was fine. ”Now now Jill, If the Tanikage is treating her wounds then she’s clearly not a threat.” She explained in a rather different tone than she addressed people with, in fact it would probably be the first time she’d lightened up at all around Usagi and of coarse it was towards one of her pets. Even though her face was obscured by her hood, turned toward her pet as she was, one could still tell by her tone that she was currently doting on her animal as she found Jills protective nature extremely adorable, a lot more so than Seth and Hakushi with their rambunctious and ever troublesome lack of sense.
Clearing her throat and turning her attention to more professional matters as Usagi began to speak of current events, Hasaki remembering Clem referring to a murderer during her ramblings at one point, Hasaki looking on as she was quite curious to hear what was said, although a pang of concern at the sound of a murder. The explanation that came from Clem was all news to Hasaki whom had not know of the murder, realizing that the other scent Jill had noticed must have been the sick little b*****d who strung up one of her fellow villagers. She didn’t even bother to get irritated at Clem’s near referring to her as a brat again, kid was little better but her mind was currently silently cursing over not moving in, maybe this dammed murderer would have been detained and it was potentially her fault her made it through the incident. Just as Clem was finishing up what she was saying, Jill turned to look at the door just before the visitor slinked over and stared at him, the tiger sized ferretkin curious as her mind were, although managed to stay where she was seated and not slink over and check them out, her owner only taking notice after Clem was done her part.
In a less than energetic tone, peering out the corner of her eyes at the stranger, Hasaki swiftly spoke in reference to what Clem had said ”Jill said that the scent that I can only assume was the Uchiha disappeared during our interaction with this one. I did only move when in appeared one of of them stopped moving around, the clones left us unsure how many people were around, the Jutsu Jill used was designed to incapacitate a potential threat, locals wouldn’t blow up the forest training out where we were and no signals for help were given so we had to act under that lack of information, it turned out to be a clone and then Clem arrived, communications broke down and you know the rest.” She said without much if any sugar coating and zero regret in her choice of actions, if she were told to apologize, she would but wouldn’t volunteer one. Now it was the mans turn to speak whilst a genin slunk in during this and the office becoming quite crowded as a result, Hasaki turning with an apprehensive “what now?!” Face when the man said his little piece.

tabThe blonde woman listened intently to Clem while she healed her wounds. She grinned widely, suppressing a laugh as the larger woman started to call Hasaki a brat, only to stop once the tamer appeared with the Kage’s clone. As she guessed, Clem wasn’t the one that strung up Usagi’s ninja like a birthday streamer. However, there wasn’t much time to process that information before Hasaki chimed in with her perspective. “You really don’t hold back, do you Hasaki?” Usagi asked, her face falling in exasperation as her clone faded into the wooden floor.
Before the Yozen could answer, the door to the Kage’s office came in. First was a rather formal looking man. He spoke with a sort of confidence and candor of someone who’d known Usagi for a long time, despite the woman having never seen him before. Even as someone who didn’t exactly relish in her title of Kage, his tone and casual attitude rubbed Usagi the wrong way.
He barely had time to get his message of a warning out before a second man stumbled in behind him. Less sightly than the one before him, this cyclops of a man made Usagi think of one of the homeless that loitered around Tani on the daily. But much like the white haired one, this man was someone the woman was unfamiliar with. Though without a message of his own, obviously he came here for… something.
With six people in her office, the cluttered space was starting to make Usagi feel claustrophobic. And if that wasn’t enough, one more thing just had to pile itself on.
“Lady Tanikage, I’m sorry for the interruption.”
“What is it?” Usagi snapped and rose to her feet. She turned to face the voice. Standing in one of the few empty spaces available in her office was the form of her police chief, Kiyoko Zetsume. Merely a form of chakra and flickering light, the officer who stood with her hands behind her back looked like an ominous ghost.
“You’re needed at the hospital. You’re going to want to see this, ma’am.”
“Okay, one second.” The blonde faced the small crowd of people in her space, finally addressing them. “That’d be, the Kage or whatever. The name’s Usagi Senjuzumaki Mikasa. Unfortunately I’m needed elsewhere, but I’ll be sending someone to talk to you shortly.” Before anyone could respond, the woman disappeared suddenly with a pop.

tabIt would be a few minutes after Usagi’s sudden disappearance that Kiyoko made it to the office. She rapped a gloved hand against the wooden door in quick, short bursts before she took it upon herself to enter. Soon the ragtag group of random people were face to face with the police chief, her hardened gaze quickly surveying the room. Among the clutter and the sheer amount of bodies in the office, Kiyoko could see why the Kage wanted to assign this duty to her. She repressed a sigh of mild irritation and snapped her heels together in attention. “Greetings,” she said. Her voice held more firm discipline in the one word than anyone would’ve ever heard from Usagi. “My name is Kiyoko Zetsume, Police Chief of Tanigakure. I apologize for taking Lady Tanikage from you all, but my Lady has assigned me to take care of you in her stead.”
A murder, a stranger, and a message. An enigma in the hospital, and a potential Bijuu roaming the Land of Rivers. Kiyoko couldn’t help but entertain the idea that today was a cursed day. However she didn’t let it show, and instead put a patient smile on her face as she closed the door behind her. “Now, how can we help you all today?”
Spec Ops Mission: Assistant (to the) Tanikage Rank: B Description: Usagi has pawned off her duties as Tanikage to Kiyoko. The police chief is to listen to the message that Ikskin has come to bear, listen to Hajime's request, and supply Clem with adequate living. Rewards: Standard mission EXP and Ryo rewards
Stamina: 1770 Chakra: 1610 Corrupt nature; 500 This place seemed as busy as the leaf and just as weird it seemed since it appeared people could just pop in whenever. Healed enough the large woman just leaned back in the couch kicking up her leg leaning it on her knee getting comfortable for now letting the kage deal with her visitors. One talked about some impending danger another looking for work while the rest just appeared, honestly she had nothing more to really say or do so she would just keep to herself only breaking that silence when she turned to her clone motioning for her to get her a drink. The clone would simply walk to the free space near Clem and sat down. Removing a mini scroll from her pouch the clone would pop it open near a small table near the couch, summoning a rather large bottle with two small shot glasses.Since it appeared the kage would be gone awhile there wasn’t much need to hold back after all she had plenty of entertainment till then in the form of watching this police chief deal with all the visitors. If it was anything like Layla and all her little samurai visitors this should at least tickle her fancy abit” Don’t mind me lass imma just wait for yer boss to pop back in eheheh.” While Clem spoke her clone would pour out the liquid inside into both shot glasses. Clem would then look to the girl who had given Clem such a hard time smiling this time it would seem much less creepy and threatening “ Must say lass not many at yer level stand up to me must say that’s a rather refreshing hahaha”
Iksin watched fairly dumbfoundedly as another person came into the office fairly quickly after he had. It only made him think that this seemed to be the right place. And as he found the right person...they left. Iksin sighed, leaning against a wall of the office room that they were in as they waited for the new person who would address all of them showed up again.
When they did, their introduction made Iksin think....it was good enough for him. "Important enough, you can probably begin stuff without panic." He threw out straightening himself from leaning against the wall. "Miss Kiyoko, I came to warn you guys. I'm sure you're aware of what Yokai are, well it seems as if they are gathering somewhere." He said, pausing for a moment to think before shaking his head. "Actually that's wrong, they're being called somewhere. If someone or something is forcing Yokai to gather like that then chances are there will be an army with Yokai. I'm sure the bigger villages and the empires are aware of at least the gathering of Yokai and are preparing themselves for war. So I figured I'd warn you as I was nearby. If war is coming it's best to be prepared for it after all."
Iksin closed his eyes, rubbed his neck, and moved his head to the sides quickly in order to stretch his neck. "I myself intend on confronting whoever is calling the Yokai like this. Need to talk to them about this whoever they are."
Edit Add: Iksin having warned the group here, and essentially the village made his way out of the office. Walking casually initially before feeling the presence of yokai closely. Causing him to rush out.
Clem seemed to not wait for anyone as she took several shots of rum before standing up, most of her wounds had been superficial anyways, sure she felt sore but the smell in the air gave her a bad feeling the same kind of feeling she felt back in the leaf when that mantis army had struck followed by those yokai and arashi ninja doing as they pleased. Yes this was the feeling before a massicare and she could not just sit around and miss a chance to earn some goody points with the boss of this place. Taling on more shot the large woman let out a loud laugh." GAAHHAAH....WELP IM OUT peace kido. Checking the two massive swords on her back clem simply walked out of the room not waiting to be stopped.
