xxx✶PERSONALITY☁xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx MEEK Despite her sneaking and pranking, Aire is socially a pretty quiet and gentle person who does what she’s told and doesn’t argue or get in people’s way. At home with the Solus crew or with her dad and stepmother she is more energetic and talkative, but the moment anyone raises their voice, she shuts down into quiet and submissive. Outside of the crew, most of her interactions with people have been one-time encounters or separated by months at a time. On shore, she tries to be concise, efficient and almost unmemorable with anyone she encounters.
METICULOUS Aire has a keen eye for details of all sorts, from colors and markings to placements to contexts and numbers. She mirrors that attention to detail in her own work and is very precise about her work, from tying a knot to setting up an elaborate prank. She gets very nervous about things not being perfect leading up to The Big Moment but relaxes immediately once something is declared done.
DAREDEVIL Aire lives for thrills. Most of the time these thrills involve climbing somewhere, sneaking where she isn't supposed to be or pulling off little “perfect crimes” that don’t hurt anyone but amuse her greatly (for example, swapping a cup with an identical cup and not having them notice would be a “perfect crime”). Her fearlessness is usually kept quiet and understated though, as she does not have the same confidence dealing with people. She can be very squeamish or fearful, but for the most part it doesn’t stop Aire from being adventurous or trying random acrobatic/ parkour stunts.
SNEAKY Light on her feet and quick with her fingers, Aire enjoys sneaking around and getting in and out of places she might not “supposed” to be. Rules are more like security measures, and she sees no qualms with getting in as long as she doesn’t do anything to sabotage or hurt people. Generally, her motto is “It’s not evil if no one gets hurt” although sometimes that turns into “It’s not breaking the rules if you don’t get caught”. When directly and specifically told not to go somewhere, she usually struggles between her curiosity and obedience, and will come to a different conclusion every time.
FICKLE Aire is easily distracted, and her mood changes with the wind. She jumps from one thing to another to another to another, forgetting what she was originally meant to do and getting nothing really done if not regularly reminded and redirected. Her interests rotate as she goes but she'll always come back to exploring, and in the moment she just has a hard time managing her time.

xxx✶BACKSTORY☁xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ✶☁EARLY CHILDHOOD Duanaire was born on a ship docked in Inverness, Scotland. Alysanne, the crew’s resident cursebreaker and duelist, had refused to apparate to a hospital while pregnant, for fear that she might injure her child. Surrounded by the crew that she would grow up to call family, Aire was delivered by the healer aboard.
The Solus was primarily a research vessel for marine habitats for magical creatures, but also charted waters for curses and treasures. While not all members of the crew are magical themselves, all members are related to and aware of magic. Aboard, Aire was beloved and cared for by all the crew. She learned from everyone, and did her best to help out. Ashore, Aire loved seeing everything and everywhere. She ventured out, sneaking wherever she could and playing innocent pranks on people.
While on shore, Aire’s time was spilt between her biological parents: Her biological father and stepmother, Julius and Edaline Evera, were officially married when she was five. Alysanne Alouette, her birthmother, was estranged from her own family soon after Aire’s birth, and legally adopted by her cursebreaking mentor to become Alysanne Park. After much encouragement from Aire herself, Alys eventually married Annie Aindrias, a magizoologist and the captain’s sister, when Aire was eight.
Split between sea and shore, Aire’s education has never been normal. She learned much about magizoology and living from the Solus. Alys taught her to draw, Annie read poetry to her, the healer aboard taught her about potions and herbs, the boatswain showed her ropes and building. She participated in whatever summer programs happened at the library Julius worked at, and Edaline showed her the basics of divination. The closest thing she had to a normal schooling was her adoptive grandmother, Jae Sook Park, setting a reading, writing, reasoning and arithmetic curriculum for her, complete with lessons and “homework” to do while she was at sea. She was notorious for eagerly completing the lessons then losing the homework.
When Aire was nine, her uncle and aunt, the captain and first mate, adopted an eight year old girl called Harmony. For the first time in her life, she would have someone her age aboard the ship! Aire was nervously excited, and quickly decided it was terribly awkward: everyone thought they should be attached at the hip, but Harmony didn't know anything about living or working on a ship, and Aire wasn't the best conversationalist. They nearly bonded over some innocent pranks, and then Harmony got her leg infected? torn off? it had something to do with a storm and a squid-- and replaced and following that, Aire was too terrified to invite her on sneaking pranks.
More recently, her parents have brought up wizarding school. Annie had gone to Dar Ar-Rikham, but the other three were Hogwarts graduates and Julius was serving as the temporary Astronomy professor at Hogwarts. As they discussed how Aire might still join them aboard the Solus over the breaks, Aire herself felt torn between the prospect of exploring this new exciting place and not seeing her crew-family.
✶☁SCHOOL YEARS ✶FIRST YEAR Aire kept quiet for most of her first year, exploring the campus and learning to very quickly navigate the passageways and build a mental map of the classrooms, halls, stairs, and outdoor paths. She flitted between a bunch of clubs, attending everything besides Quidditch and Snack Cooking Club inconsistently. She found herself quite lonely but didn't know how to properly make friends, and really missing her home at sea by the end of the year. Thus, she was very upset to find she'd be spending the Winter Break on shore, but at least got a few days with her crew. After spending the longest time she'd been ashore, Aire was relieved to be back at sea for a short summer trip. This time, she and Harmony kicked it off, and she spent the summer describing Hogwarts to Harmony and planning pranks together.
☁SECOND YEAR Hogwarts with Harmony around was at least much more fun. Aire and Harmony had a fierce competition during Quidditch, but had their own clubs: Aire found herself in Art club this time, and just like with Cooking/ Snack Club, mostly watched and appreciated other art. She did occasionally doodle maps and rough sketches of places around Hogwarts towards the end as a way to plan her perfect crime pranks. This year saw a whole host of pranks--some with Harmony's help: mostly small things, like moving stuff around, or switching people's books. Their longest-lasting project involved reorganizing the potions stores. She and Harmony also started a prank war, messing with each other's notes and bedspaces.
Finally, even though Aire didn't go to other clubs consistently, she could usually be found lurking around special events that other clubs hosted. Over the year, she had started --almost accidentally!-- talking with Maya Masters, daughter of the James and Lyre Masters that were so well regarded and admired on the ship. With Maya's help, Aire and Harmony finally got their own brooms and spent the summer practicing aboard.
✶THIRD YEARSneaking off from the Sorting Feast to the dungeons to check on their stores prank, Aire was caught by Austen Masters, but thoroughly enjoyed their conversation once it turned to poetry and mysteries. She found herself happy to talk to Austen throughout the rest of the year, although never so blatantly as in class. She also made better friends with Maya through Quidditch--surely after three years of playing together it was okay to call them friends?--she tried involving Maya and Austen in some of her pranks or stunts, with much better reception from Maya.
Aire's indecision led to her taking every elective, a challenge she didn't quite appreciate, as Aire hardly ever did her homework anyways. She had near-perfect attendance though, and partly paid attention, although she spent probably half her time doodling, planning pranks, or doing whatever little bit of homework she did. She did though, work very hard at Quidditch, as a starting chaser this year.
Summer stared with a panic when Harmony met Austen, as Aire still felt she was breaking social order by hanging out with literal celebrities and hadn't dared breathe a word. After hearing the captain discussing funding issues, Aire spent the rest of the summer trying to make the new magizoologist feel at home onboard.
☁FOURTH YEAR felt like it was mostly spent in class. Between homework that she only sometimes did, attending random clubs all the time, and planning her next Grand Prank on Harmony, Aire was constantly busy and constantly doing something. She passed a relatively uneventful year. Just before returning to the ship for summer, her aunt and uncle adopted Jaelah, Harmony's biological sister. The prime target for pranking had changed!
✶FIFTH YEAR Aire was very surprised and confused to be appointed not only Quidditch vice captain but also Gryffindor Prefect. She mostly spent her time on patrol sneaking around the castle planning pranks and perfect crimes. Otherwise, Aire was very busy going to class and exchanging a study notebook with Austen. By midyear, her crush was undeniable.
Just before May, Aire accidentally spilled a prank meant for Harmony on Calliope Whitethorne, resulting in detention. Not sure what to expect, she wrote farewell letters and a confession letter in preparation for her imminent demise. However, Professor Harlowe simply assigned her to study during detention and said letters were hurriedly burned for secrecy. She befriended Lochi Bardsdale while studying, and found out he was a fan of her parkouring and pranking.
Come OWLs, Aire did as well as she could be expected to, and ended up failing half her exams, forcing her to retake the year.

She tends to go with the flow, taking tasks and punches as they roll, and if there isn’t a clear purpose, her conversations meander around the most interesting route to get to a topic or destination.
OPENDespite not being a seer, Nkona was a divination prodigy who was rarely wrong in her interpretations, which has led to confidence in her abilities as a diviner, but more importantly as a santera who is connected with her community. While sheltered and naive from rarely leaving her residence or the car in her early life and being homeschooled even after being sent to the UK, Nkona got to know the outside world through her grandfather’s santería community and approaches people with an open curiosity.
IMPATIENT Neither very talkative nor very reserved, Nkona seems perfectly serene and patient in a ritual or when listening to or divining something for a fellow santero-- indeed she’s happy to listen, but she doesn’t like waiting or stalling for no purpose-- sure she could do something else, but it feels like a waste. Similarly, she tends to cut everything to the last minute because she doesn’t like “wasting” a moment of time before an activity and instead is always late.
VAINNkona loves pretty things, and is easily seduced by pretty things and flattered by compliments. She was reassured she was a special snowflake her whole life--up until she was sent away, and then she realized that “special snowflake” really meant “chess piece”. Still, all that glitters is gold, rhinestones are a girl’s best friend, and it’s better to cry with a big fancy hat than without.
RESPECTFULDespite her impatience and her vanity, if Nkona remembered anything about her grandfather, it was his many lessons on respect-- respecting ancestor spirits, respecting practitioners, respecting strangers, respecting herself. She’ll be the first to credit her divination to the kindness of the oricha guiding her and remembers the loa with every healing. While she’s not particularly generous or keen on dramatic gestures, she does give consideration and regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, and traditions of people around her and dutifully communicates with the oricha and her egun.

xxx🌸BACKSTORY✨xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 🌸✨EARLY CHILDHOODNkonazana was born to Violeta Castillo and Augustín de Julien. While Violeta was one of many affairs, Nkona was the only apparent child that had come from Augustín’s relationship. Their marriage and child was meant to elevate and continue both their families, but Nkona’s own life was trampled by their obsession with the appearance of wealth.
Born with one weaker eye and severe astigmatism, Nkona was confined within the walls of the family’s property for much of her childhood for treatment. Even after her treatments and getting glasses, she was permitted outside only as a spectacle in pretty dresses to be admired by the press. She had a governor-- a college student babysitter and tutor-- but did altogether horribly in all his lessons. This governor often complained she was too hyper and distracted, and while Nkona was happy to sit through hours of getting her fingers and hair done, her performance in her lessons did not suit her parents’ ideals of a little princess. At six, Nkona was put on medication to help her “control herself and do better in lessons”. Nkona hated the medicine and “forgot it” as often as she could, although she happily took to spiritual guidance and meditation practices. Her greatest success was at age 8, when she persuaded her parents that she would read and do arithmetic without a tutor.
Instead, Nkona preferred to spend her days with her blind grandfather, Santiago Julien, a retired model and practicing santería priest. Santiago thought Nkona had a great amount of aché, or spiritual force: Nkona took surprisingly well to the rituals he performed for practitioners that came to worship, seek counsel or healing. It was also through Santiago and santería that Nkona met the outside world: she heard the complaints and problems of supplicants and found meaning in divining advice or helping to prepare healing herb baths and setting up for more complex rituals. While she was still too young to be part of some of them, she liked talking to people who had been chosen for possession. Nkona was initiated into the community at seven, and her guiding oricha was discovered to be Ochún, goddess of love and rivers.
This life changed when invitations to Behanzin and Beauxbatons Schools of magic arrived when she was eleven: Nkona was confused--of course magic was real: she and and all the santeros practiced it all the time, didn’t they? But her parents were furious, accusing Santiago of deluding her with tricks and delusions. In trying to explain, Santiago tripped and was hospitalized. Nkona was forced to spend more time with her parents, living under their ideals and medicine. At one point, Nkona tried running away to see her grandfather-- instead, she was caught and ultimately locked inside her room. After nearly three weeks of meals through the door, Nkona broke the window, sprained a leg jumping out, and tried to run all the way to the hospital. This time, the police caught her. She spilled everything in her desperation and was allowed to briefly see her unconscious grandfather before being nearly seized by the state. Finally, Augustín offered to send her to extended family living in the UK, as he could not lose his only heir.
Nkona was staying in London, England with her great aunt when the invitations game again. Luckily, her great aunt Ida had been a Beauxbatons graduate herself, which explained her brother’s understanding of the invitations. Nkona chose Behanzin-- if she couldn’t see Santiago anyways, she may as well attend a school that was further from her parents and did magic more like the kind she was familiar with.
🌸✨SCHOOL YEARS 🌸FIRST YEAR Nkona spent much of the first year just understanding classes, magic and the different loa. She admired and liked her mentor student, Lulu Ellis-Hall, and hung out with Lulu and her friends when not in class and joined the Astrology club primarily because of Lulu. She hated cleaning, loved exploring Port-au-Prince, and by the time it came time for her to return to Europe for the summer, Nkona thought of Behanzin as the new normal. She had a great summer comparing what she learned at school with traditional santería concepts with her grandfather and returned to Behanzin ready to learn.
✨SECOND YEAR was largely the same with Nkona hanging around Lulu like a shadow who did everyone's nails. Santiago visited her in Scotland in the winter and they had a blast. It was to be the last time they ever saw each other: In March, Santiago took another fall and never recovered. A few months later, Nkona found out from her father's secretary that her parents had taken him off life support, denying a final goodbye.
When Nkona returned to Seville, she was only allowed to visit the gravesite under supervision and isolated from the other santeros she had known. As her parents started arguing again, this time bringing up her parentage, Nkona was again confined to her room.
🌸THIRD YEAR marked the start of electives and after luckily catching the portkey to school, Nkona fully ignored the outside world, focusing on her studies. She joined the music club and there found she was permitted to learn and play the drums. She took as many electives as she could, excelling in Divination and Healing as expected, and slacking over other subjects. She spent the winter break between visiting Lulu and her family in London and Inverness with her aunt and uncle.
✨FOURTH YEAR After being imprisoned in her room again with her school supplies mostly confiscated and torn between her parents' divorce proceedings, Nkona found out her parents planned to not let her return to Behanzin. When she wrote for help, Lulu and her cousin Riddles broke her out of the house and flew to London for the remainder of the summer. Discussions with magical child protective services and custody trials began over the winter, which she spent in Behanzin, happy to wander the hills and put her divination to practice in her newly official advice columnist position.
Finally in summer, the custody trials settled, and Nkona was officially adopted by Rose and Nell Ellis-Hall, making Lulu her legal as well as spiritual sister! She spent the happiest summer of her young life hanging out with her new family and learning as much as she could about them.

xxxPERSONALITY ____xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx RebelliousAt a young age, this was simply pulling small pranks, tripping people, moving a shoe to the left, nothing harmful. All that mattered, if she rebelled against those near her and they stuck around...maybe they wouldn’t leave her. DistrustingHarmony does not trust easily. After being given up, she decided she would never trust again. It takes a lot to make her trust someone, and even then it’s only max 40% trusting. Bighearted Harmony wants to be kind and generous, to give to those who help her. There are slight leanings toward this just being to where she doesn’t want to owe anyone any favors. SereneHarmony usually has a calm sense about her, she was not running around yelling, no she didn’t have any disturbances. It was what it was, and that’s all she could do. Of course, she wasn't’ always like this, but after her adoption, it was better that way. PoteanHarmony acts much like the sea, sometimes it’s calm, other times it’s a storm. Usually, you can see the storm brewing though, one should probably avoid the storm at any chance. AdventurousHarmony loves the thrill of adventure, going out seeking new places. She wants to take risks, whether she should or shouldn’t (i.e. probably shouldn’t have risked being on deck before a storm, but the thrill!)

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EARLY CHILDHOOD [August 2039: Into the world] Harmony was born in August of 2039 to Thomas and Kiara. What was the point in mentioning their last names? The two were jerks, inadequate parents. They tried to raise Harmony, and she had a great life, she thought. Apparently, Harmony was too much for them though. When she was 5 (October 2044) , they gave her up for adoption because they couldn’t handle her. Was it from the accidental magic, or just regular temper tantrums? Harmony didn’t know, all she knew was she was abandoned to a place she didn’t know, and people she wouldn’t get attached to.
[October 2044: Surrendered] Harmony initially was well behaved, she would dress nicely, sit proper, and was the ideal candidate for adoption. However, once she realized that adoption meant she would never go back to her parents, she made it difficult to be adopted. Harmony would make up horror stories to tell any potential parents, she would make up illnesses to be able to avoid going to the meetings, anything to not be adopted. She had no intention of leaving the orphanage, unless it was with her parents.
[Sprummer 2045: Suzie Meeting] Her will to stay in the orphanage grew stronger in the late Spring/Early Summer of 2045. A new girl showed up, Suzie. Suzie was older than Harmony, but that was okay. She knew that they were going to be friends, and eventually, they were. With having a close friend in the orphanage, it wasn’t so bad, being here. Sure there were some flaws, but things couldn’t be much worse right? She had a companion and that’s all that mattered.
[March 2047: Jaelah is born] No, things could get worse. In May of 2047, Harmony received mail? It was from her parents, had the day come, when she would get to go back home to them? Of course not. They had written to inform her that she had a new sister, Jaelah. She was everything Harmony was not as a baby. She did not cry at night, she was well behaved, already attended to a schedule at 2 months old. This baby was already more perfect than Harmony. That was when Harmony realized, she would never go back to her birth parents.
[June 8, 2047: Adoption day] When the Aindrias couple showed up at the orphanage, Harmony was hesitant about wanting an older girl, what if they wanted Suzie instead? What if they took her away? No, they wanted a younger girl, but not too young. They wanted Someone that was close in age to their niece. Harmony was called to meet them. They introduced themselves (Azim and Nceba) Harmony was thrilled. There would be no chance of her running into her birth parents since the Aindrias family lived at sea. She would be schooled on the ship, she wouldn’t see any other people except when they came to land. She would be able to write Suzie, and anyone that really mattered, but who else was there besides Suzie? No one. On June 8th, 2047 Harmony became an Aindrias, and began her new life at sea.
[July 2047: Living at Sea] Living on the ship was terrible. Suzie wouldn’t write back to her and this other child, Aire they called her, was horrible. Okay. maybe not horrible. The girl was great at pulling little unnoticeable pranks, just enough to confuse the ship people. However, Harmony was not going to become attached to her. She would be close to her parents, no one else. Just look at what happened with Suzie! Once she wasn’t at the orphanage, Suzie abandoned her. Of course, after months of thinking Suie didn’t get her letters, she did finally get a response, a nice long one. Harmony knew Suzie wouldn’t abandon her, and maybe others wouldn’t either.
[September 23, 2048: Squid Attack] After a year onboard ship, she had grown used to the way everything worked, and began helping with pranks, in an uneasy truce between her and Aire (her frenemy?). In September of 2048, a tragedy happened. A storm was approaching and Harmony wasn’t supposed to be on deck. She should have been inside doing homework. However, she had things to do on deck, pranks to pull things to see. Unfortunately, the ship turned on it’s side, just ever so slightly, nothing to worry about usually the storm wasn’t there yet, except the deck was slippery, and Harmony fell overboard.
She yelled as she fell, and saw Azim start running, what was he saying? The next thing she knew, something grabbed her right leg. She tried to pull away from it, but nothing would release it. Finally, likely in a bit of accidental magic, the creature released her. She later came to find out it was a squid of some sort. _Azim got her, and they were pulled back on deck before any storm could hit. She cried, her leg hurt. The on board medics tried to heal it, but nothing worked. They had to cut her leg off, to prevent her from losing more of the limb. It was cut off at the knee, and thus began a new struggle of life for Harmony, learning to walk again. She had to get used to not having a leg, she kept going to reach for a toe or something, and… nothing. It was gone, and she’d never have it back, how had she become such a burden to her parents?
They told her time and time again, she was no burden Yes, she would stay with them. They loved her, and would never leave her, somehow, this had proven it. She really was an Aindrias.
[September 1st, 2049: Bye Aire: September 1, 2049] Aire, was gone. Suddenly the ship didn’t seem the same. There wasn’t someone to quietly chuckle about, to pull pranks with, to stay up late with. She really had befriended Aire during their years together. How had her adoptive cousin become more like a sister to her in such a short time? To say the least she missed her cousin. When they saw each other that winter break, they began to plan the best prank ever. Yes, Harmony and Aire were friends.
[September 1, 2050: Off To Hogwarts] When harmony got her Hogwarts letter, she was thrilled. She was hesitant that it would be lost at sea because they were on an exploration during the summer. A ridiculous thought, especially since Aire had gotten her letter the year prior. Off to Hogwarts Harmony went.
SCHOOL YEARS [First Year] Harmony was so glad to be sorted into Gryffindor with her cousin, they could entertain each other, and easily plan pranks. She also met her #1 idol, Maya Masters. How exciting it was, that Harmony was able to play quidditch alongside James Masters DAUGHTER. Their most popular prank? Rearranging the potions labs.
[Second Year] Sometimes, Aire left Harmony alone. It was fine, Aire had a lot of classes to do. However, they still did some pretty awesome pranks. Harmony was in the adventurer's club, which wasn't really an adventure, but rather a game. It was still fun none the less! They turned in prank quidditch tryout forms, something that was taken well. They organized the cards in Divination, but Harmony didn't hear anything from that.
[Third Year] Harmony's life was over, sure school was fine, but her parents decided to adopt her little sister - Jaelah. Their parents had decided they didn't want her anymore and of course the Aindrias clan were good people and accepted the kid. Harmony said she was fine with it, but she wasn't the kid anymore, she had been replaced within this family too.
[Fourth Year] Aire had played a prank on Harmony, or tried to. Whoever thought giving leadership responsibilities to Aire was potentially a little wonky.
[Fifth Year] Harmony wasn't great at school, but now she had Aire in the same year as her. Or rather, the Aire bootcamp kicked in and it forced Harmony to do better in her classes, because if Aire did well, then Harmony had to do well. She didn't score perfect in all of her exams by a longshot, but she passed 75% of them - good enough. The other side effect of Aire being a repeater? Harmony was given the Gryffindor Quidditch captain. And Prefect. She hoped she would be successful.
Harmony and Her bestie Vera went to the Deep Sea Horror Masquerade dance together in October - and shortly after decided to do a long distance relationship. They visited each other during breaks, but mostly wrote.
[Sixth Year] Aire...wasn't always there for Harmony anymore. Now she had Austen. They were out going on dates, studying together, doing everything. Sure, Harmony still saw Aire when she wasn't sucking face with the boy, but ugh.
Harmony had Vera, but she could only write her, Vera was busy being not in school - at least the summer was barable, because Harmony could visit Vera occasionally.
[Seventh Year] Harmony had thrived at her NEWTs - she was able to apply the various situations she would have been in if she had encountered them on the Solus. The practicality of the NEWTs really helped her thrive.
Post Hogwarts [August 2057] Vera and Harmony broke up. Had they ever really been in a relationship? they had always done long distance, letters, but the change in their relationship...had changed them. They changed from friends, to girl friends, back to friends...to nothing. Harmony had lost her oldest and closest companion. They tried to be close in person dating, seeing each other more frequently, but it just...didn't work out.
Harmony joined the Solus crew full time - she had made her way up through the ranks, well she had been doing that for years now. A year after graduating Hogwarts, she was promoted to First Mate, her mother stepped down since she knew it was Harmony's dream. Of course, Harmony claimed to still be in training - she didn't want to be over stepping anyone. She learned the literal ropes of the ship, and often was in charge of steering it and going places while the Captain slept.
[Fall 2057 - the First Voyage, kind of] That Fall, Harmony lead the crew on her first voyage semi-supervised. She still had her parents there and could ask them questions, but for the most part she was in charge.
[Spring 2058] Harmony was tired of Jaelah, and in an act of rebellion she threw her leg at Jaelah and hit her in the face, causing some damage to Jaelah's right eye. It's fine, if Harmony could survive without a leg, Jaelah could handle some eye damage. Harmony threatened Jaelah to never tell what happened, their parents wouldn't believe them (100% parents would have believed Harmony had thrown her leg at another human).
[August 26th - September 8th, 2058 - The Year of Hope Their parents were going to be taking Jaelah to get school supplies and take her to Hogwarts. Then they were going off to do.... adult parent things? Harmony didn't ask questions. Harmony was left to be in charge, the acting captain. She had made Aire her first mate - her right hand gal. It just made sense.
The magizoology department wasn't as chaotic and it was just a good year.
[Summer 2059 - another voyage] The first voyage had gone well, but Aire was going to be more on land - Harmony needed a new First Mate. Harmony made Kayden Chakwas, the ship healer, her first mate - after the end of the voyage he refused to ever be the first mate again, he was too old for this.
[Summer 2060 - Third times the charm] This voyage, Harmony made the First ate be Miles Johnson, her ship buddy. Another successful expedition, but Miles also couldn't keep up with Harmony's energy.
[Summer 2061 - Off with their heads] Aire dies, Weslyn is the first mate, weslyn doesn't like harmony kidnapping and murder, alll the plank walks

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EARLY CHILDHOOD [March 2047: An Announcement] Jaelah was born to Thomas and Kiara. She was a perfect child, a sweetheart.
[2052: Too Much] Jaelah’s parents got angry at her, a lot. When she did poorly with lessons, when she cried in pain, they were getting meaner and angrier. She tried to be a better kid for them - but she didn’t know how to.
[2053: Welcome aboard] Jaelah’s parents didn’t want her any more. She was being sent to live with her older sister she had never met before. Not only that, but her sister and new cousin liked pulling pranks, particularly with her as the prime target - she didn’t like it.
[2055: lunch] Being with Harmony and Aire wasn’t so bad afterall, life on the ship was kind of nice. While Harmony was back, Jaelah and their 2.0 parents went to lunch together with her - it was kind of nice to have a family that loved each other. Except, sometimes it seemed like Harmony? hated her - wanted nothing to do with her and kept her at a far distance, that’s okay Jaelah could do the same.
[2056: New Crew] A Nice girl, Weslyn, and a nice boy, Skip, joined the crew of the solus. They were still closer to Harmony’s age than her own - but the pair of them tried to talk with Jaelah. Jaelah liked them, they were her friends and she hoped to make more.
[2057: A Happy life] Jaelah liked her new parents - they would have great nights of doing music. Her Dad would show her how to navigate using the sky and the stars. Sometimes - the crew would dance and when Harmony wasn’t home...Jaelah had fun.
[2058: Hogwarts] Jaelah was happy and not that surprised when she received her Hogwarts letter. She was actually thrilled, she’d spend time away from Harmony - who was slowly being allowed permission for the ship to be in charge - it was a nightmare of a time. Jaelah had trouble seeing out of her right eye after the last bout she had with Harmony - which resulted in Harmony throwing her leg at Jaelah’s face.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEAR ~ 2058-59
Jaelah loved school - she made all sorts of new friends and learned new things. No one compared her to her sister or cousin, and it was all around fantastic. Jaelah most enjoyed meeting a tree boy - Erikk Knapp, who she ran into while he was planting trees in the courtyard. He hadn't taken any of her non-sense and that just made her adore him, Jaelah was his number 1 fan.
