Located within the Tensei Valley lies Achilleas Fort.
Founded by Sheva and her Valkyrie, the agenda was expansion without human harm and it was achieved. Spartan inspired, the outer wall reaches thirty feet to provide the local citizens with shelter and safety in case of an emergency. The intricacies of the build are labyrinthine. Utilizing her full knowledge of mechanisms, armor crafting, scroll crafting; the walls feel like they are alive. With woven seals and rare metals, the walls were meant to keep those within absolutely safe.
Moving from the outer walls, there is a small checkpoint stationed by a Fort trained Valkyrie before reaching the inner Fort. The inner fort gives a reprieve from all the security measures, giving way to lush clusters of trees and small ponds. There are three (3) buildings that are contained within the Oikos:
Red Oikos: The Sparring Grounds (Tatami Room / Study Hall) The Sulis Minerva - (Heath Room / Hot Spring) Ares Hall - (Barracks/Armory/Forge)
Blue Oikos: Valkyrie Hall - (Clan Chambers/Kitchen)
Dikasterion: The Center of the Fortress The Eye of Zeus - (Watchtower/Treasury (30k invested @ construction)) The Will of Ares - (2nd Barracks :: Elite Squad Housing)

Roku continued to follow along Cam for awhile until they were a few miles out from the fortress they were to survey. "One moment, let me see what we're walking into." The man would simply state. The man blinked and when his eyes reopen, his sharigan replaced his normal eyes. At this point, Roku would then create a few hand seals with his left hand before covering his left eye with the very same hand. The man remained silent for awhile as he moved about the area free from his body. To begin, the man would only remain on the outside of the fortress as he wanted to check to see if they had any sensors in the area. However, as it seemed there was no interruptions, he would move closer.
Back at his body, Roku began informing Cam what he saw. "Hmm there are quite a few people in there. It almost seems like a miniature village. Looks like a few guards. Quite a few buildings. A couple of barracks it appears. A hot spring. Perhaps a sparring area? Definitely a watch tower there. The designs of the buildings are nothing I've really seen before. It's almost like a maze trying to get through there. Doesn't seem like anything we can't handle if it goes the wrong way though, I don't register any chakra signatures that would be truly concerning to me." Roku would report. Overall it would take him around a half an hour to glean all of that information. At this time, Roku realized this was likely why he was sent on the mission to begin with. "Should be clear to continue forward. I'll keep a technique up just to make sure we're not gonna be ambushed." Roku would say before completing another set of handseals with his left hand.

The fortress has become significant and we would like to know more about them. You are to avoid providing assistance to projects that compromise our standings with forces in the Sky Country. We cannot risk upsetting the Storm and Lightning over a third-party and it would be detrimental to create ourselves as a threat.

Cam gladly allowed Roku to do his thing. She was more suited for infiltration anyways. When they actually needed to get up close and personal, she'd be the one on call. For now, if this guy could do the same work she'd normally do with her transformations at a fraction of the effort, she'd be a fool to demand he not. "If you don't see anything to be concerned about then I don't see a reason to hold off any longer. Besides, we've been ordered to meet with their leadership anyways." Cam said, casually fishing out a Leaf headband and fixing it around her neck before heading off towards the entrance. They hadn't been ordered to remain unidentified, and it'd arouse too much suspicion for them to turn up mismatched way out here. For her part Coda wonder if this place had anything to do with the woman who turned up in the office back before the stuff in the Land of Iron. As far as she knew that situation hadn't be resolved yet. Roku would likely have to end his jutsu before they arrived but he had a few minutes on the way there to gather more information. They would eventually pass, however, and both the Leaf shinobi would find themselves at the checkpoint at the labyrinthine fort's outer walls.

The gates of the fortress opened enough for the pair to enter. An armor-clad woman stood there to greet them, their headbands were greatly observed and she approached " And what is it that brings you to us? You are not the sakura haired woman that we assumed. " Her accent was thick, littered with rolled 'R's and sharp S's. She observed the pair and took note of the observable markings upon them. After the Primas trip to the Leaf, they have been waiting for the Hokages arrival. Within the observable range of the trio, the landscape had been tended to carefully and intricately detailed.
Inside, Coda let out a rage-filled shout. Outside, Cam remained calm. So this was indeed connected to that stuff. And they were expecting Lahlil. To say that Coda was extremely annoyed that she had been dumped into this mission without the necessary context or cover of any kind. She couldn't exactly just let slip that the previous Hokage had disappeared, even that was no more formal than hearsay even in the village itself, and to be honest Coda had no idea who was next up in line beyond that.
"I guess that means you were expecting Lady Nevarra." Cam said with a slightly concerned but not dejected tone. "I'm afraid a personal issue has tied her up in the village for the time being. I was not dispatched directly, but I would assume that her advisors decided that your request was urgent enough that it could not wait." The young woman explained, before giving a small bow. "My name is Camilla, I'm one of Lady Nevarra's first students." She said as she bit a finger and wiped it across a tattoo on the back of her hand. A moment later one of Lahlil's trademark bat summons appeared in a little puff of smoke, a small Flying Fox hanging from Cam's wrist. Hopefully this would be convincing enough, considering the now former Hokage's well established reputation. "And this is Roku, one of the village's most promising young shinobi. We've been asked to assist you and report back to the Hokage directly." She continued, gesturing to her slightly younger counterpart.
A little dancing around the falsehoods, a little actual truth. Maintain a confident, prepared demeanor. Act as if the current situation was unexpected but not unforeseen. No suggestion that the village was vulnerable, or that there was a leadership issue. Lahlil's problem was personal, it required her to stay in the village. Not too formal, not overly conciliatory, Lahlil was neither of these things and her shinobi would not be either. Not as disaffected as Coda though. Don't give away the names of people in charge of things, those outside the village might not know that information. Don't mention the number of advisors in the village. Don't mention ranks unless asked. Offer information that corroborated as a gesture of good faith, but that wasn't vital. make them feel important. The considerations she'd run through in her head made for an acceptably believable explanation, especially the bit about her own relation to Lahlil and the note that they'd be reporting back directly to the Hokage. It was time to see if Coda's practice had paid off, and if the persona's and social adaptability she'd honed achieved the desired results in the field.

Roku watched the gates carefully as they opened. Even before it opened, he could feel the chakra signature from the woman on the other side. If they were to be ambushed, this would be the moment. The man tensed slightly, almost completely unobservable to those who didn't know him. However as they passed the gates, his relaxed as the moment for an ambush passed. However, they were still in unknown territory. The man observed the woman silently as Cam and her spoke. What strange armor.
Soon enough the attention of the conversation fell upon Roku as he was introduced by Cam. As he was introduced, Roku placed his arms straight at his sides before bending at his waist into a formal bow. The male would snap back into his standing position. "Nice to meet you." Is all he would say before returning to silence. Don't speak until spoken to was basically his mantra at the moment. It was a diplomatic mission, so a genin really had no place to speak.

The woman seemed to be taken aback by the news of Lahili having a difficult time " That is unfortunate but your presence is welcome. " She bowed to them and pulled out small metal pins from her pocket, though it wasn't Lahili receiving one " We have prepared ourselves for hosting the Hokage so you are in for a feast. " She turned and pointed at the next checkpoint, the armored woman looked back at them and nodded " You are free to enjoy our facilities but you will be observed but not disturbed. "
She stepped away and ensured that the Gates closed behind them, though it was a simple gesture... it was one to show that they were truly just guests " Our Dikastes is currently doing aerial patrols." There was a boom in the sky above them and Sheva descended from the cloud cover. She landed within the next checkpoint.

They got little out of their host aside from an acknowledgement that this was not who intended to make contact with. Dikastes was an interesting term, not one the Chunin was familiar with. Although it was easy enough to assume this was their way of referencing their leader. And lo, it would seem this Dikastes appeared as if called from the heavens. Cam nodded in response to the guard and continued to the next checkpoint. "You must be the Dikastes. My name is Camilla, of Konohagakure. Your guard mentioned a feast meant for Lady Nevarra. I'm sure my companion would be happy to take part, as would I, but we understand if you wish to simply skip to business since we're not what you expected." Coda offered the option to avoid a prolonged social engagement, just because it would make her life a little easier, but she doubted it'd be taken. It seemed to strike the right balance between businesslike and deferential though, so it seemed like the right right move for the time being. They'd get the information they cam for either way.

'A feast?' The idea seemed rather elaborate to Roku. Although he did understand that it was generally customary to provide a grand meal for dignitaries. Not that Roku felt he deserved that type of grandstanding from the fortress. However, he hadn't even had a proper meal before coming on this mission, so it would be nice to eat something other than what he picked up on the way here. Much like Cam, Roku pondered on the word Dikastes. It seemed like everything about this place, including their language was from a different era. It was certainly interesting. Before he could ponder to much on it, the boom from the clouds drew his attention away from the word. The man watched as the woman dropped from the clouds into the next area. It seemed they were done with the current guard as the pair of shinobi made their way over to the woman who dropped from the sky. When Cam introduced herself, he half expected her to introduce him as well. For the moment, he would remain silent and only introduce himself if the woman spoke to him directly. However, he would bow to her in the same formal manner he had to the guard.

She removed her helmet to reveal that she wasn't much older than Coda, she smiled and set her helmet on the ground " I'm Sheva, Diskastes of the Valkyrie. " She bowed to the pair, she knew that they had come a long way from the Fire Country " The road from the Fire Country is long and you are more than welcome to rest before your departure. " One of the armored women walked up and Sheva looked over a piece of paper, Sheva herself had always been transparent with people around her; she leaned so that Coda or Roku could look at what she was looking at " Aerial partols and surveying. " She drew a couple line and handed it back to the Valkyire.
" Please right this way... " She started to walk towards the Clan Hall and waved them to come along " We are the Valkyrie, we defend the civilian populace and arm them so they can defend themselves. " She pointed off into the distance as a plain-clothed civilian picked up a spear. A valkyrie walked behind them and posed their body into one of the stances of Seigesbreaker. " After the horrors of the Korogashi War, I knew that I could no longer sit by and watch them die. " She smiled and continued to walk towards the Clan Hall.
She walked at a steady pace, allowing Coda and Roku to easily follow her.
The disguised shinobi followed closely, taking in the sights around her. This mission of the "Valkyrie" as they called themselves at least seemed noble in nature, although Coda had seen first hand how easily noble intentions could yield ignoble results. The mention of Kogarashi caused her to gather a step momentarily, but she played off the reflexive limp as best she could - in this case tapping the toe of her boots on the ground as she continued, as if a pebble had found its way inside and into an uncomfortable position. Most people didn't casually discuss Kogarashi, but she'd still need to tidy that particular reaction up. Roku followed the women, not really paying much attention to anything other than the Diskastes as she spoke. As the woman leaned, Roku would take a quick glimpse at the paper she was holding. 'Interesting. I don't know of any other villages that have aerial patrols like this.' The man pondered to himself as they continued on their way. It seemed their culture followed a idealism that all civilians should be able to protect themselves. Roku knew this had often been done in smaller cultures in the past and generally militaristic villages. The Korogashi War was something he was familiar with, but wasn't a shinobi at the time it was in full swing. It was understandable why they acted the way they did now. As he continued to allow Cam to do the talking, he noticed that she shot him a glance at the mention of Sheva having something specific in mind. The man thought for a moment and figured it was to make sure he was paying attention. For the moment, he would remain silent and wait for an opportune moment to offer up his own expertise. Already he had noticed the village lacked any sort of fuiinjutsu to help protect the village. This was likely something he and Cam could work together on considering their shared bloodline. They should have put a tattoo on the other so they could have communicated more effectively. However, it wasn't that big of a deal really especially since Roku didn't offer like normal.

Catching the small body movements, Sheva nodded at Coda and continued to talk, she wanted to make sure that she acknowledged one warrior to another. They faced a War unlike any other and that was the motivation for this and Belvoir Castle Oh no, I like to eat. She walked to the Clan Hall and Kitchen, she walked and sat down at a table closest to the door. She knew that the two of them had never been thete before and she wanted to make them comfortable for the time that they were there also, I need defenses and I believe that Konoha can provide them to me.One of the Valkyrie set down a plate of fruit and vegetables, Sheva smiled and grabbed a large citrus fruit and began working on peeling it.
Two Valkyrie set a chest next to the table and walked away, she looked a Coda and licked juices from her hand. She honestly didn't think that the fruit was going to be a mess... it just played that way. She then looked at Roku There is a payment for you both and full access to the Sulis Minerva to recoup If there was anything that Sheva and the Valkyrie could provide it was monies and relaxation.

It was time for Camilla's act to get back on. The young woman took her host's lead and snatched up a fruit, picking away at the rind and plopping down in a seat just in time for a big chest to be set down beside the table. Coda couldn't have been less interested, but Cam was a different story, gawking slight before remembering what she was supposed to be doing, or so the act went. "So what did you have in mind? I'm assuming it's not manpower, since you seem to have that covered." She said before chomping into her own piece of citrus. "Are we talking physical infrastructure or something more discrete? I'd guess the latter, this place is the real deal structurally, but I don't want to jump to too many conclusions." Cam continued as she munched away casually, but Coda was already trying to draw lines between herself and Roku's potential capacity and what these people might want of them. The bites were simply a stalling tactic. They were here on a scouting mission, so she doubted Leaf village wanted them hauling back an order for some comprehensive array of defensive weaponry. That said she wasn't confident in her own ability to build out something as complex as a sealing array, at least not alone.

Roku found his seat next to Cam, watching as the two women picked up a piece of fruit. To follow the leader more or less, Roku picked up his own piece of fruit and began delicately skinning it. As the chest was sat next to the table, Roku barely even glimpsed at it. He wasn't here for payment, he was just here to get the job done.
