And so the show began. Mina took a calming breath, to rid herself of the distracting thoughts nagging away at her conscious. They could come back and berate her later, but first she needed to survive so they could do that. As she focused, Mina swiftly popped open the four gourds hanging from her hips and waist, letting the iron sand from all four flow freely into the ground to start converting more earth into sand The redhead shot her eyes open and met the wave of samurai with her own piercing gaze and red electricity started to gather around her fists. She was going to prove herself here and now, and make up the travesties at New Verales!

The first of the samurai made it to Mina and she met his battlecry by sliding into her own fighting stance. He had his weapon, but it wasn’t something Mina felt she needed, not yet. She watched his water enchanted blade get ready to swing and waited for the right time to act. Her eyes snapped into focus just as the blade started it’s horizontal arc, and the girl ducked down underneath it, keeping her hands by her face as she stepped to the side. Mina stomped the ground with her foot as she dodge, releasing chakra from her body! Red lightning, powered by Doton, Raiton, and Jiton chakra shot out from her like a wave! Mina rose from her duck and turned to face the samurai as she slipped into her stance yet again. The ninja didn’t wait for the chance for the Samurai to recover. She charged the armored man as fast as she could, leaving behind a trail of after images in her wake. Mina reared her elbow back behind her as she leaped at the samurai, jumping just past him as she attempted to slice at her face with a red electricity covered elbow! The after images would follow suite, repeating the attack but at much weaker levels. [Elbow Bolt: C Rank Simple | S+ Rank potency, Ghost Strike: C Rank, Elemental Personification: C Rank] She would land and pivot, swinging her leg and herself with all her might back the way she came, slamming her shin to aim at the samurai’s side, before spinning the opposite way to slam her other heel into him, then doing one last spin to swing her leg up and then slam it straight down onto him. [White Fissure; B Rank Simple | S+ potency, Nerve Strike, B Rank Complex | S Rank Potency, Guillotine Drop B Rank Complex | S Rank Potency]

Once she hit the ground, Mina once again landed in a stance, patiently waiting to see what the officer would do. [Devastation Stance: B Rank Simple] Until she caught the scent of something familiar. The smell of burning flames dousing the battlefield, as ember washed through the samurai like an ocean. Mina froze, unable to take her eyes away from the flame as her heart started to race. The girl was stricken with flashes of memory, scenes of charred corpses and burning screams. Part of her knew she needed to be fighting, but every other part of her was screaming to run. The end result was Mina's full body paralysis, as all she could do was stare on and tremble.

First Action:

The user opens their hips by rotating their front foot out. Then sinking, pivoting, twisting the user throws their hands outward as they rotate a full circle while expelling chakra five feet in every direction that carries the single element of their choosing they posses. This technique is used to duck below target attacks while countering with their own attack. This technique must be executed at the rank of the technique being evaded.

▰ Elemental Personification | Rank S | Spiritual
The user floods their system with chakra while choosing one of the primary elements they have access to. This attunes the user to that element, giving their element of choice the following effects. This technique requires no activation but always requires it's chakra cost paid equal to the technique it is paired with.
Earth: Stuns an opponent, losing an activation if unblocked.
Lightning: Reduces agility of the target by a [1] point per rank (5) when contacting an opponent for the following post.

The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with their elemental bloodline affinity, allowing them to combine the techniques of this style with their bloodline properties, including statuses inflicted by said bloodlines.

The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with more than a single element. Once completed, all techniques are able to carry two elemental properties. This does not allow for Elemental Bloodlines to be used in this manner.

Second Action:

The user charges forward five feet per rank of the technique with a [1] point increase in speed per rank of the technique. The user extends their elbow outward as they reach the target, slicing into them with the joint. The sharp impact of the strike stuns the target, removing all agility increases when interacting with this technique.


▰ Ghost Strike | Rank C | Spiritual
When using a simple or complex attack, the user can spend chakra to create intangible after-images of their limbs that are indiscernible to those without dojutsu for no additional activation. For each rank of the technique, the user creates an after image of the limb striking for the technique. For each rank of the technique, the user's speed is increased by [1] while the target's agility is decreased by [1]. When possessing dojutsu able to discern the real striking limb, the opponent is able to negate their agility decrease.

The user executes a round house kick that propels them toward the target five feet per rank. Using this motion to gain momentum, the user may deliver a striking technique at or below the rank of this technique for no additional activation.

▰ Guillotine Drop | Rank B | Complex
The user raises their leg above their heads and brings it down in a might axe kick that fells the strongest foe, flooding their heel with chakra. For each rank of the technique it gains a [1] point increase in strength. This technique treats barriers and defensive ninjutsu one rank lower.

▰ Nerve Strike | Rank B | Complex (B Rank Strength, S+ Rank Speed)
The user delivers a swift roundhouse kick to the opponent. The kick is executed at D Rank strength but receives A rank speed. This kick, while lacking power strikes nerve clusters of the target, causing the stricken limb to cease functioning for the next post.

▰ Double Fissure | Rank C | Training
The user is able to perform a very fast 2-hit combination with any physical strikes from this style without consuming an additional activation. The second technique must be executed at or below the rank of the first.

The user takes a stance akin to that of a boxer. They bounce on the pads of their feet while keeping their fists at eye level with their jabbing fingers extended. This stance allows the user to deliver their attacks [1] point faster per rank of the technique when attacking and increases their agility by [1] point when defending. Attacks delivered from this stance allot for an additional jab per rank of the technique, increasing the accumulative number of strikes the opponent takes.

▱▰▱The samurai general squared her stance as she watched the rat sage manifest a massive tidal wave. Her determined eyes glowed more brilliantly and green ethereal samurai armor covered her body. The master of the spirit sword had fully activated her highest level of virtue, the seventh, and became wholly devoted to the cause of her country in this foreign land. Green bolts of lightning surrounded the woman's form as she supercharged her green katana. She felt the weapon that was tied to her very soul crackle with this lightning violently. The Raiu clanswoman inhaled deeply as she meditatively muttered to herself. "Lightning breath..." Electricity radiated out from her as locks of black hair stood from within her aura of emerald spiritual essence. "This is not play! The dishonor of the shinobi will finally be purged from this world!" The stalwart general hissed resolutely as she generated even more lightning. She drew her sheathed blade of lightning and brought the true storm with a massive lightning dragon targeted to destroy the water wave as it was being formed. She pointed her spirit weapon to the sky before waving it and bringing a volley of viridian thunderbolts in an attempt to decimate the jiton user's lightning ball. If the lightning dragon or bolts were able to defeat the techniques and continue their course then Sumika would be risk of being electrocuted unless she defended herself.

When Roku flew to the back of the army and released flame from his mouth the samurai at the rear were taken by surprise. The ambush left three hundred samurai within the rear force being cooked alive by the black flames. The smell of burning flesh and the haunting sound of their screams were ghastly. The middle-range archers would immediately turn around and reroute to get around the flames and begin firing on Roku. This portion of the army became focused on eliminating Roku as a threat altogether with rage filling their hearts from their brutally killed comrades. Since none of the warriors had sensory abilities they had no way to anticipate Roku's ambush. Fifty arrows were fired at Roku but four of them were enhanced by a powerful amount of the chakra from the more advanced archery officers.

As Theodin flew through the sky and rained fire down onto the soldiers they too met a grisly fate from above. The fire ripped through that portion of the army and burned down one hundred and fifty samurai. However, mid-flight Theo would detect five flying tengu. The red-skinned yokai all drew their blades as they flew toward Theo with their raven wings. As they approached, they would release three powerful gales. One of these massive gusts of wind was aimed upward in an attempt to counter the kirin. The other two were aimed directly at Theo in an attempt to slice him to pieces with cutting wind chakra and knock him out of the sky.

When Sheva performed her resplendent super hero landing and slammed her fist into the ground, fifty samurai soldiers were blasted away all around her. This alerted three samurai warriors who ran toward her with their katanas drawn. Each one performed chakra-imbued slashes from the Tetsuishi no Ryu style aimed at Sheva's midsection.

When the explosion by Sonyo destroyed the oncoming tengu ensnared by the wood release even more yokai began running in. Five oni roared out before running around the barricade and attempting to club Sonyo from behind. "GRAAAAWR!" The oni prepared their clubs to attempt to beat Sonyo to death. The fire that Sonyo loosed would collide with fifty samurai and spread to another twenty five who were consumed by the flames covering the approaching infantry.

Meanwhile, four different trebuchets in a different section were destroyed by Kujaku's clever redirection of the payloads. The explosions killed the men manning the trebuchets and surrounding troops resulting in three dozen samurai casualties. This caused some serious chaos and confusion among the samurai forces.

In the midst of the chaos, five trebuchets were loaded with chakra-based payloads. They were released in unison by the order of the artillery officer. The five S+ rank spiritual payloads were aimed at destroying the walls and closed gates of the fortress in front of them. The siege units could be easily targeted by most on the battlefield as they were placed in the center.

The Seiryu general faced off against Mina and manifested a potent water dragon from his sword and around his person. She successfully countered his attacks and now he was using his graceful flowing stances to counter her strikes. He was protected from her volley of attacks but they began weakening the aquatic dragon. As it began losing its form he performed another series of sword slashes that released powerful waves of water in all directions around him to clash with Mina's attacks. Suddenly, he used his sharpened water around his blade to cut a slash across his hand. He slammed his hand on the ground before conjuring a flying sea serpent yokai. It flew ahead of him and Mina and began breathing out powerful tides of water. If Mina or anyone else did not intervene then potentially hundreds of shinobi forces between the frontlines and the fortress would be washed away by the serpentine yokai. The Seiryu general smirked and pointed toward the dragon wreaking havoc behind Mina before readying himself for more combat.

Raiu Secret Technique: Lightning Flash God Speed [ Raiu Hijutsu: Inazuma Kami Sokudo ] | Rank S+ | Spiritual
A supplemental skill to further increase the user's speed and agility. The user augments their bodies with raiton chakra, allowing the muscles to function at a much higher level. For the next six posts, the user's speed is granted a double increase to speed and agility while suffering a [2] point decrease in endurance and strength. The user's blade is hyper-charged with lightning that allows simple techniques to be treated as complex and complex as spiritual during this technique's use. Simple techniques executed during this time project a five foot blade of chakra up to five feet in distance per rank of the technique.

She used this technique to attempt to counter the water and hit Sumika:

Seventh Form: Flaming Thunder God [ Shichi no Kata: Honoikazuchi no Kami ] | Rank S+ | Complex [ Treated as Spiritual by Lightning Flash God Speed ]
The user readies themselves with a sheathed sword, hand poised and ready to draw it as their body is consumed by an all powerful lightning that generates heat, causing T2 Dehydration within five feet of the user and their chakra as it takes the shape of a dragon with them at it's head when they dart towards a foe. The dragon's form seems to extend with the user's actions, allowing the chakra to remain active for up to three posts, giving the user a [2] point increase in strength and speed. When the user does attack, the dragon opens its mouth, snapping down on it's prey as the user's blade is unsheathed in unison, slicing the target while the dragon holds their body in place. The cut delivered causes the same burning of flesh as Heat Lightning.

She used this technique to attempt to counter the forming lightning ball and hit Sumika:

Sixth Form: Electric Lightning Shower [ Roku no Kata: Denki Kaminari Ame ] | Rank S | Complex [ Treated as Spiritual by Lightning Flash God Speed ]
The user draws their blade, releasing a flurry of nine slashes aimed at their target with the lightning infused blade. Each of these lightning infused slashes cause the bolts of lightning crackling from it to explode from it's edge, creating nine interwoven lightning bolts that shred through each target, losing a single rank of damage as they continue forward, illuminating the countryside as it ravages targets for one hundred feet in the direction of it's use.

Two As One | Rank B | Complex
The user imbues their blade with chakra, creating a chakra blade that follows the path of the original blade. When impacting an opponent's defenses, the user is deducted an additional B rank amount of chakra automatically as the chakra blade makes a secondary impact, breaking through defenses that would normally clash with the B Rank technique and defend itself. For the defenses to be broken, the defensive technique must have less chakra than the combination of two B Rank attack's cost.

Techniques used by the Seiryu officer against Mina:

▰ Tenth Form: Dragon of Change [ Ju no Kata: Henka no Ryuu ] | Rank S+ | Complex
A technique closely resembling the third form. The user channels chakra into their weapon, causing it to generate a powerful stream of water that follows the user's blade motions. The user is able to generate a continuous blade attack that appears as a winding Japanese style dragon that follows the user's actions. Unlike the style's third form, this technique is purely offensive. For every post following the first one it is used, the technique requires one additional activation of each target to block a single sword stroke while the user is allowed to attack a target three times but only with this technique, consuming all the user's activations and requiring an A ranked upkeep. Should the user encounter a defense that exceeds the chakra rank and potency of this technique, the technique is broken and ends immediately.

Ninth Form Modified: Water Splash Chaos [ Ku no Kata Kuzure: Mizushibuki Konton ] | Rank S+ | Complex
The user explodes forward, charging the target with a [4] point increase to speed. The user's explosive movement is augmented by the creation of ten foot waves that wash over the area with each step taken over a seventy five foot distance. Unlike it's prior form, the Chaos variant does not require solid ground, nor water to tread upon. The user's footsteps may take place mid air or anywhere that is required to move to a target. This allows the user to follow even the most evasive foe and those in flight. The user vanishes from sight just before delivering a beheading horizontal slash, leaving them behind their target. The waves created by the user's foot steps collectively gather, following the user in any direction they had taken to create a one hundred and fifty foot wave that crashes into the target, flooding the area in a body of water measuring fifty feet in depth.

Summoning Technique [ Kuchiyose no Jutsu ] | Universal | Rank A Yokai Summon
The Summoning Technique is a space-time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances instantly via blood. Before an animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first sign a contract with a given species. The contract comes in the form of a large scroll and is considered a legendary scroll for the contract holder, on which the contractor uses their own blood to sign their name and place their fingerprints and once signed it is valid even after the contractor’s death as long as the contract itself remains intact. After this they need only offer an additional donation of blood on the hand they signed the contract with, mold their chakra with hand seals, and then plant the hand they signed the contract with at the location they wish to summon the creature. The amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how powerful the summoned creature can be. It should be noted that anyone can summon a contracted animal as long as they have the blood from someone who has made a contract, the seal of the summoned creature, along with a source of sufficient chakra that the summon will accept. A creature is capable of determining who is attempting to summon it from the chakra used. In the anime, it was shown that if a user attempts to summon an animal without first signing a contract, the user will be teleported to the home of the animal they have a natural affinity for.

Sumika tisked a bit of disappointment at the revelation of her own inability. Or, rather, at the inability imposed upon her by the village. Her prior movement took her away from the clashing techniques on the puppet, and it was clear this was an enemy that she could only beat via attrition. There was no point in being precious about chakra here, as the puppeteer flat out lacked the jutsu necessary to drain her energy reserves in the span of the fight. This battle was a gasoline infused candle burning at both ends. As she circled the jiton blade was tucked into a loop in the woman's harness. Her now free hand swept up to her chest before extending slowly outwards. The iron sand that formed the outer layer of her outfit shifted suddenly, pulling away from the well-fit coveralls below along with a small bit of Vogel's back feathers, forming wings of Sumika's own as she drifted apart from the puppet. She hung momentarily in the air, her platinum blonde locks whipping about with the first few flaps, before she fell into a short dive and began a pincering advance.

"Sorry, I'm not in the mood for a conversation anymore." Each of her hands shifted a moment later, and both the puppet and wings launched a barrage of projectiles that arced in from either side. The feathers curved towards their target as if with a mind of their own, and a swift series of thunking sounds announced the puppet's volley mechanism launching its sequence of high speed iron rounds. From the air they'd both reach their target at full power, leaving the general to manage her response carefully. The irony was that Sumika represented a potentially sympathetic ear. Konohagakure's resident, dissident clown; as disaffected with the villages and their squabbling nonsense as your average wanderer. But also person to whom the concept of honor meant nothing. There was none here, the general had already lost that by having her charge break on a lone malcontent. She'd also not be indulged in her ramblings, no matter how hard she tried. Trouble had gotten quite her fill in the realm of talking where there should be fighting, at least for the moment.

Despite her attempts to keep up the glowing green woman would find her speed still slightly outmatched. A swift movement brought Sumika into a tucking roll, back across the Samurai's twelve o'clock, and sent Vogel peeling off away from the general as well. The wings would serve to provide some protection in this maneuver, allowing the puppeteer to escape any sufficiently powerful AoE response with no more than a rough landing. Its true purpose was concealment, however, as a hand once again shifted the form of the sword into a hyper-dense set of chopsticks. Her free hand snatched the sticks as she finished her roll, snapping them out of the air and clacking them together. The resulting sound would be more than enough to disrupt an attack and keep Sumika in an advantageous position as she ideally remained airborne and regrouped for another attack.

As he watched his techniques take form high in the clouds, Theodin would hear the flapping of wings behind him. Turning in the air,he’d spot the 5 tengu soldiers flying towards him. Seeing the one send a blast of wind to disrupt his summoning of Kirin and two others firing wind towards him, Theo would raise his arms to the clouds as it would begin to rain, the rain draining the chakra from the enemy forces while sparring allies and their techniques(Mist Rain-S+ rank) Theodin would then take a deep breath before exhaling forcefully, spinning quickly in the air as six forty foot trains of fire expanded from his position, with another wave of his hand, the flames began to spin around him creating a hundred foot high, forty foot wide tornado of flames that would attempt to engulf the oncoming tengu soldiers. It was at this point that the twin dragons of the storm finished their formation. Theo would coat his hand in his chidori, pointing towards the center of the main enemy forces as Kirin’s deafening roar belted out and with a blinding flash the lightning dragon dove into the crowd.burning and paralyzing any enemies within fifty feet of the impact point and blinding any who look directly at the dragon. (Kirin S rank activated) along with Kirin came his twin brother, the wind dragon. The twin brother of the storm would follow Kirin and slam into the ground, causing a powerful blast of wind to flatten enemies within two hundred feet of the impact.

Then Sadayo arrived. Whatever was unfolding beyond the fortress, hopefully, was going to someone’s plan. She had corralled among strategic planners who were minding the samurai’s numbers as water, lightning, dragons erupting from the elements, and punches were being thrown across the battle. She turns, quietly counting off the three readied puppets with her before stiffly returning her stoic stare toward the scene ahead.
A moment’s pause later and Sadayo was shoving her hand under the lid of the supply bag amidst a discreet scramble to grab a literal fistful of whatever she had.
This might have been the one instance where she blindly hurries for whatever of her color-coded scrolls and throws them at her feet, like burning smoke bombs, with nary a glance at the colored spools. Five puppets were swapped from scrolls and produced with a swell of smoke. While generally pleased with her draw, she eyes the short frowning puppet to the side with worry. Nonetheless, there was work to be done.

Taking advantage of the long-range opportunity, Sadayo leapt down to a lower level of the fortress exterior to avoid the ever-changing terrain itself. Sadayo deploys the initial three with some limit to her first moves. A spreading fire versus her preferred devices was a tricky obstacle and, like before, the sky was growing dimmer and dimmer. Clouds growing darker. Lightning cackling. But the Samurai weren’t all that easy to knock down with their own torrential winds to counter the skies and watery beasties ready to sweep the fortress away. As far as numbers were going Sadayo didn’t have the exact, minute number present as Goshoduzka and if those on the front lines fell the fort would be overrun.
For the moment, the best Sadayo could offer was a means to give the others wiggle room to avoid a swift failure. Lessen the pressure. A lengthy succession of hand signs followed suit as Sadayo took to the ground, puppets straggling behind, and ran as she needed distance between Goshodzuka and the next-to-last line of defense.

The ground shuddered and tore as the forming rooftop of something akin to a warlords’ castle built itself from the land, skyward. From the sloping, tiled
rooftops, to the empty hollowed windows that implied it was filled with dark passageways. She didn’t skimp out on the details and went all out from top to bottom. She lifted the 200ft castle skyward, even further, on a layer of rammed earth she had fortified with stone to form steep walls at the castle’s foundation[ Stone Castle Creation [ Sekkai Daichi Souzou ] | Rank S [Defensive Activation].
The stone castle was her newest vantage point with a cost that made her and her creation a brand new target. Sadayo positioned herself up high but in the shadow of a space, looking out through an upper window and her puppets were all cast out into the fray. She whipped up the start of another round of tricks yet to be seen with another succession of hand seals Sundering Strings | Rank D | Kugutsu [Earth] before moving three of her puppets into play among the ranks of samurai. From the confines of her castle, still, Sadayo exerts herself for another move to bolster the ranks as she planned in the leaf and would do so with style. The next line of hand seals spawns a surge of smoke to pour from the castle’s empty windows as a precursor to the entrance of one-hundred shadowy figures that sank into hiding beneath the earth 100 Puppet Army | Rank S within the castle walls.

Elsewhere, Hohoemi rattles and slings his long, segmented sword downward upon helmets of on-coming samurai (Puppet Basic Rank: A)with Mushizu seeming to fly in, closely behind the laughing puppet. The ends of two of her uppermost titanium limbs taking aim directly toward the enemies’ sides. Mushizu’s titanium legs were long enough to skewer her victims deeply if her aim was on point (Puppet Basic Rank: A) and deal a decent bruising if nothing else.

▰Puppetry String Technique | Rank E﹢Use of this technique generates a set of strings on each hand with one string per finger to the user's deployed puppets. The user's strings are visible unless masked by an additional technique or a stealth node device. Moreover, strings will remain active until cancelled or broken by the user or another capable force. Once connected, puppets can travel anywhere within a single thread. This technique is considered basic. Does not require chakra to maintain.

▰ Puppet Appearance: The Ningyōtsukai, or puppeteers, is a lower grade puppet that honors the bunraku puppeteers who are dressed in all black attire. This puppet works well in dark places and in numbers. Like SADAYO, another puppet belonging to Sadayo Soga, they are very well articulated and have incredibly hidden, quiet joints. The Ningyōtsukai has no face hidden under its black hood.
▰ Puppet Description: Ningyōtsukai is a couple steps up from being a “basic puppet” at 5” feet tall and equipped with whatever can be sent its way or picked up and made into a weapon. Formless and tools are this puppet’s forte. This basic puppet is to distract close range fighters who get too close to the false puppeteer. It's made of a fairly sturdy wood but nothing alike a flimsy wood like balsa. The joints have been given the same treatment as Sadayo's double: well lubricated and fixed to be quiet in movement.

The loud announcement of the Yokai tore Sonyos attention from the conflagration her fireball in the midst of creating, the girl exhaling in exasperated at more mindless opponents(in her perspective of the yokai a current state) came charging at her from behind. The enraged looking onis clubs came crashing down as the considerably small in comparison kunoichi turned as an almost lackadaisical pace, disappearing from under their clubs quite suddenly and unexpectedly considering their proximity and being in mid swing. Sonyo had leapt and spun through the air between two of the clubs in a testament to her agility, speed and acrobatic prowess, only slowing to a perceivable speed to the Oni a couple off feet above and behind the oni, upside to and legs split to create slowing resistance as she rotated like a helicopter.(A-ranked overwhelming dodge) If one of the Oni managed to turn in time the would see the hand not gripping her sword do a prayer like motion with her hand followed by a noticeable red flash of Yin release chakra in her eyes as they as everything in front of her, the Oni, ground, the wood dragon and anyone and thing else that was unfortunate enough to be within the produced effect, a reddish hewed shockwave that was nearly imperceivable if not for everything hurled, and the noise.

Sonyo would land as the sound of the shockwave was just beginning to die down, landing in a half crouched position before sprinting forwards, running along the side of the long gouge her last technique had carved. Glancing about and quickly targeting a Samurai about twenty feet from her position, hopping mid run in a way that looked as if she was slowly falling forward for an instant before small blasts ignited from her soles, the booms made barely starting before she arrived outstretched hand slamming into the mans head, the other releasing its sword to drop point first into the ground then grabbing onto the Samurais prominent arm just above the elbow in a mid air grapple(B-rank grapple- S+ from stats). With a twist of her body and swinging her legs in combination with the momentum of her arrival, thrusting the energy of her super fast arrival into forcing the samurai toward the ground face fist as her feet would slam down an instant before delivering the man faces into the ground(B-ranked “basic” faceplant-S+ after stats). Sonyo was half crouched over the man and not letting go of his head, her left arm at that point beginning to glow blue as she started to drain the mans chakra(chakra absorption).
“You are some seriously shameful opponents, you lack honour and apparently skill with your weak blades(souls), I declare the right of Kiri-sute gomen on all you honour-less fools.” She yelled scathingly at the nearby troops, aiming to provoke them and possibly annoy someone a little more challenging and more mindful than the manipulated Yokai as she had misgivings killing them. She swapped the hand she used to grip the samurai she crouched overs arm with her knee, allowing her to pick up the sword she dropped to point at them in warning as she continued applying force to the back of the mans head to prevent the man him from escaping and grind it into the ground if it hadn’t already been given an imprint of him mug.

Foe Repelling spirit crushing wave! [ Japanese Technique Name ] | Rank S | Bloodline [ Yin/Ignition ]| Cost [ Spritual ]
Focusing mental intent and chakra behind her eyes whilst envisioning and willing an image of her foes and everything else between her, them and beyond getting destroyed. With this image and intent in mind her eyes will both momentarily glow the reddish color of yin release, the light condensing to the centre point and vanishing as it popping. At this point the chakra that was built up will is given form through her ignition release, resulting in a large destructive shockwave emitting from directly in front of her. Starting with a twenty foot width and height, expanding out to eighty feet at its further stage which is also eighty feet. The shockwave itself is almost clear with a reddish hue to it, ripping through structures and tearing up the ground along it range, launching everything out of its reach an additional twenty feet. Those unfortunate to get caught by this technique will be thrown of the attacks reach like everything else, struck by an invisible wall of force that is the shockwave they Suffer tier 2 trauma, bodily Paralysis, tier 2 burns, tier 2 vertigo. Due to being ignition release it also causes deafness plus any damage from debris and destruction/landing.
This Jutsu is cast very quickly and due to being a near invisible shockwave, these aspects are represented by the Jutsu being treated as one rank higher in speed than cast in respect to the speed of the technique but treated as a rank lower for stamina lost as well as collisions, however if she is in sage mode and 50% of its cost was done so with sage chakra it counts for its rank in power. Can only be used once every three posts due to the mental release using gives the user after the built up intent and that takes a moment to be able to regain. This techniques name is what it is on paper as it literally is a wuxia like technique her family owns the scroll to, its casting is often proceeded by a very short spell/chant being uttered.

Boom stepping [ Japanese Technique Name ] | Rank x | Bloodline/supplemental [ Ignition ]| Cost [ complex ]
Creating very small explosions from the soles of her feet and with practice, Sonyo can basically run and maneuver in mid air, albeit in more of a skip than a walker or run, the user gains +1 speed or agility up to c rank and + 2 B+ and can travel up to an 10 addition feet per rank in a given post when doing this. This Jutsu can only be used one every three posts in combat, outside of combat it can be used for long distance travel. In combat however she doesn’t need to land until the post after using this technique.

Chakra Absorption Technique [ Chakra Kyuuin Jutsu ] | Rank X
The user channels chakra into their hand, causing it to glow. By physically contacting the target with the effected hand, the user is able to absorb chakra equal to the rank of this technique. This technique remains active for one post per rank of the technique.

Wreathing herself in what appears to be robes of fire, Sonyos body becomes protected from spiritual attacks of equal rank to the rank the technique is performed at. If touched the flames do not burn the body but instead burns them on the spiritual level, meaning that no trauma or burns are taken but instead tenketsu rot(1 per -rank) is, along with extreme pain that causes tiered paralysis in damaged area. Spirits and things in spiritual form are damaged by these flames, projecting your spirit at her with this technique active would be very unpleasant as you have to get past said flames to get into her. Technique lasts one post per rank and can be reapplied for a supplemental action when it expires if the user pays the original casting cost, the visuals are that when the flames start to die out, she will shake her arms or very fast flourish or some sort and the flames re-intensify.(some visuals what have you)

Explosion [ Bakuha ] | Rank X | Spiritual | Supplementary
The user channels their chakra to the surface of their hands, feet, elbows or knees. This chakra becomes super heated and explosive, staying dormant in the desired body part until physical contact is made. This explosion expands 10 feet outward per rank of the technique, throwing those in it's range to it's furthest limits with concussive force, causing tiered burns and trauma. This is often used to augment the user's taijutsu or basic combat attacks to grant them additional force.

Dual elements discipline is responsible for boosting Jutsu rank for using both bloodline types in the same post.

• fluid movement reduces evasive and blocking techniques cost by 5 per rank.
• Infernal Body [ Jigoku no Karada ] | Rank C | Training
The user heats their muscles with their burning hot flame chakra at a constant rate, increasing their muscular performance and granting a one point increase in their strength at C Rank body and another 1 point increase at S Rank for a total of 2 points. Additionally, physical contact with the user's body causes tier one burns to the contact point.
• The class caps of the user in speed and agility are raised by [2] at a maximum of [10].
• The Zelelist gains [2] additional body flicker uses in battle.
• Dragon's Direction:
Spiritual Doki Yari techniques can have chakra recycled for the use of another attack. This is done by reversing the flow of chakra being generated through the pole arm then exerting the chakra again for the next technique. This cannot be used to recycle chakra that is no longer in contact with the pole arm. Chakra is recycled at one rank lower in value than the technique being recycled. This chakra must be used by the end of the following post.
• Ancient Teachings
Becoming more familiar with molding chakra into their attacks, the user is able to spend five less chakra per rank of a complex or spiritual technique and must pay no less than 5 chakra for a technique.
• Fluid Movement
Techniques used for a blocking, countering or evasive action have their cost reduced by 5 stamina per rank of the technique and must pay no less than 5 stamina.
• Whirlpool Walking
The user is now more adept at using circular footwork and can use it against multiple attackers, usually weaving between them, keeping them bumping into each other or simply getting in each others way, taking away any numerical advantage. In the deflecting stance, the user can deflect a technique of their body rank or lower once every three posts for no activation, still requiring the stamina/chakra cost paid.
• Move As Water
The user has dealt with so many situations being outnumbered that their ability to move in tight and confined spaces is greatly increased. The user’s blade work is tighter, relying on their body and footwork to generate force. The user’s footwork is so fluid that they are able to turn on a dime, making a combination of strikes go into multiple directions without interrupting the combination. Techniques that target multiple opponents may now have additional reserves paid in order to strengthen the effectiveness of the individual attack to the next highest rank.These can be paid individually, not requiring chakra or stamina to be paid for every split technique.

Having practiced their art with great concentration, the user has learned to change direction of their whorl technique.After this training is complete, the user may use up to one technique per post that would lower the stats affecting their speed without suffering that reduction. The user becomes one with their momentum, learning how to harness their body as an almost perfect machine. After completing this training, the user’s agility gain any and all bonuses afforded to their speed.

A skill obtained upon learning all other techniques in this stage. The user's stamina cost of taijutsu techniques are reduced by 5 per rank of the technique being used if they are fighting along side another practitioner of this style.

The user is able to perform a very fast 2-hit combination with any physical strikes from this style without consuming an additional activation. The second technique must be executed at or below the rank of the first.
• Moving Fissure | Rank A | Training
By using a quick twist of the hips, the user can change the momentum of a kick that has been executed in order to change it's direction completely. Doing so requires half the cost of the technique be paid and the newly directed attack gains an additional [1] point increase to speed per rank of the technique. Kujaku let out a breath that she didn’t know she’d been holding as her jutsu successfully blocked the barrage of chakra. The explosions of the trebuchet broke the enemy lines, so she’d have to say all in all it was a job well done. But there wasn’t time to pat herself on the back, as other shinobi needed help on the battlefield. More specifically, whoever was fighting the giant green titan off in the distance. Kujaku didn’t know who was trying to duel such a behemoth, but it was definitely not smart to take it on alone.

So Kujaku ran at full speeds from her spot towards the battle, doing her best to evade anything dangerous that she didn’t have time for. In fact, she was barely unable to make it in range in time to help defend the onslaught of lightning. But seeing that in action did give the girl an idea of how to fight the general now.

Kujaku, while running, quickly formed through her seals, gathering such a powerful amount of chakra that it started to materialize around her! Cyan peacock feathers unfurled from her back, spanning a distance of twelve feet in each direction as she focused entirely on the samurai general. Her hair and her eyes both started to glow with a faint blue, like a clear sky. Earth-Wind-Fire Combination! Sudden Hell Theory!

Kujaku slammed her hand to the ground as she unleashed her wave of chakra, forcing the earth beneath the general to shake before it shot up twenty feet into the air! Taking advantage of the launch, Kujaku would unleash a massive breath of wind and fire chakra! The tornado of flame, if hit the general, would send her flying further into the air, with enough cutting force to impale and slice her open!

By using both hands instead of just one, the user can turn a Katon: Housenka no Jutsu into a thin six foot spear of compressed flame. The user then grabs the spear and hurdles it towards any target within fifty feet of the user. Those within five feet of the spears trajectory are subject to tier one dehydration. Those directly stricken by the spear are easily impaled unless defended and tier three burning is applied to the entire target which is accompanied with an equal burn status. This technique may alternatively be wielded by the user as a melee weapon for an upkeep of twenty chakra. When used in this manner, each impact point inflicts tier two burns and burning.

In her shaken state, it was all Mina could do to dodge the oncoming attacks from the water samurai. As she was pushed back, the girl’s body seemed to move like a mirage as she focused chakra through herself to allow her to bob, weave, and step away from each strike. Each time the officer pushed her back, a Shadow Clone would appear in the spot that he had previously occupied, until four clones of Mina had been made. [Sidestep: Rank B, Boosted to S+ Complex]

What she wasn’t expecting was the yokai summon! She didn’t know that samurai even knew how to make summoning pacts! There wasn’t much time to act, so Mina and her clones moved as fast as they could.One formed her handseals and slammed her hands to the ground, spouting a wall of earthen mud in the direct path of the tidal wave created by the yokai before disappearing! [Ten Thousand Ri Earth Style Wall Rank B]. Another Mina clone went through the same motions, but instead forced chains to burst from the battlefield. They wrapped around the yokai and slammed it to the ground, forcing both it and the clone to disappear. [Beast Sealing: A Rank]



The real Mina stood in front of the Samurai, locking eyes with the warrior as she formed handseals. The seal to form a jutsu and weave her chakra through the mind of the samurai, but only a distraction for the girl to cast her Genjutsu on the enemy. But she held her body stance low to the ground, to give the impression another earth technique was coming. If her Genjutsu was successful, the Seiryu officer would be entranced by the movements of her hands, thinking he needed to focus on the signs to prepare for a jutsu. A jutsu who’s strength he would take more and more seriously as more and more handsigns were formed. If successful, he would be paralyzed, increasingly uncertain of what kind of action to take from such a massive oncoming jutsu while in reality he would be hypnotized into inaction. The last Mina clone would be off to the side, letting iron sand trickle from the gourds on her hips. Along with the black sand her original had created, her chakra let the mass of metal swirl around and form around the Seiryu officer, crawling up his feet and legs in an attempt to cover his entire body. Combat Passives

Battlefield Presence → The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no action for that specific instance of kai.

Lasting Hypnosis → The user's genjutsu prowess has achieved a heightened level of potency and lingers for longer. The primary sense of any genjutsu that was released using Kai lingers for [1] additional post. This residual effect is minor because the manipulation of the target with the technique has ended. For example, a complete darkness sight genjutsu that was dispelled may leave the lingering feeling that the world is still a bit darker than it is in reality. If a genjutsu used a mental status effect then it will linger for [1] post longer at one level below what it was before at a minimum of level one. Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. Genjutsu upkeep lessens by [5] Chakra per body rank and non-Instant are applied with overwhelming, requiring lingering genjutsu to use [1.5x] the resource to Kai.

Erudite Academic → You compromise on excelling at one to be proficient in both sealing and sensory. The Academic's body is considered a scroll so seals can be used and stored on your direct body. Your body may be treated as three scrolls equal to their body rank. If you are double class and have a second discipline from this class then you may add the five slots to your mirrored amount of ninjutsu, using these techniques for ninjutsu, sealing and sensory. Fuuinjutsu and sensory skills do not require handseals and are one rank less in chakra cost (Following the one rank max reduction rules) All three of your actions can be used on fuuinjutsu and/or sensory for one post every three posts in combat. • Flames of Entropy | This flame has the ability to deteriorate certain objects and materials it interacts with, causing them to crumble away while not actually burning targets. Ninjutsu lesser in rank and chakra composition than the user's effected technique are disintegrated and allow for the flames to continue by paying an additional difference between techniques to retain strength. Objects which include weapons and armor not containing chakra may be disintegrated by flames equal to that weapon's rank.
• Flames of Conductivity | The user's flame techniques gain the ability to 'conduct' through one successfully stricken target and strike at another target for no extra cost by lowering the technique's strength by one rank. Alternatively, the flame can be enhanced with an activation and paying the difference in ranks for the technique to remain the same strength.

• The user's fire based techniques are highly pressurized, doubling in size and range while adding a knock back effect of five feet per rank of the parent technique. If the parent technique already produces a knock back effect the user's fire technique gives a knock back of ten feet per rank.

Creates a solid clone which is able to interact with the environment and perform any technique the user knows. The strength of each clone is dependent on the amount of chakra put into each clone. After creating the necessary seals, the seal formula which manifests as a hundred-foot wide seal rises up like chains and binds the target. If used on a summoning A-ranked and below then it disappears. If used on a Bijuu or a Summon S-ranked or above, it remains bound for up to five [5] posts before breaking free. In addition, the spending of an S-ranked amount of chakra will break the chains.

▰ Iron Sand Coffin [ Satetsu Kyuu ] | Rank S+
The user will force iron sand to crawl up on their target. The sand will then wrap up and around, until it fully encases the target. As the sand encloses, it will apply a crushing amount of pressure [see Iron Sand Funeral], more than capable of grinding bones. If the wielder takes two posts to set up the technique for one combat action each then the iron sand can encase the whole body and deal an equivalent tier of full-body paralysis based on the rank applied for five posts. The other method is the faster but less effective option of using one post to grip only a single limb and apply paralysis of equivalent tier to the rank of the coffin. The Iron Sand Coffin is also considered a chakra-based grapple rather than the standard stamina-based grapple and thus requires an equivalent rank of chakra to be spent by the target once gripped or encased to break out.

              Roku's eyes traced through the air, looking at each of the arrows as it was fired from their bows. It was somewhat entertaining to the teen given that the samurai were shooting into nothingness. Perhaps if one of the samurai were extremely lucky, one of the arrows would collide with him. However, Roku decided not to give the chance to any of the Samurai. Instead he would turn their onslaught of arrows back on them. The teen began producing handseals, his eyes keeping track of which arrows would come nearest and the fastest. Almost immediately upon firing their arrows, they would find the arrow would be redirected by a large gust of wind, the largest gust of wind that perhaps was ever created. All at once, all arrows became Roku's weapons as they pierced through the ones that weren't fast enough to defend against the attack. The teen breathed, he had used the most amount of chakra he had ever seen anyone use before and it tired him out. However, he was still ready to continue the fight.

Sheva smiled as the samurai approached. They were strong but hardly the types to keep taking lightly. She let the Solo Flight technique that still remained lift her off the ground, just enough to let her body feel weightless. It was in that moment that she left the natural chakra surge through her and she allowed it to course through her. She remembered the warm embrace of the Vastwood and the memory of her training came to her (Sage Mode Activated: Rabbit). She had never felt more in tune with the wind and with the samurai quickly approaching...nostalgia wasn't an option.

Her anxiety ran through her and she left herself holding her breath... and that gave her an idea. She wove a complex string of one-handed seals and pulled her arms in tight. She looked down at the ground and saw the dust quickly settle around her. She continued to inhale the air around her until she felt like there was nothing left. She stood strong with her chest puffed out.

Opponents that are in the vacuum zone when it is created or when entering it for the first time have their breath stolen right from their lungs causing tier four suffocation, with the exception that everyone except for the user is giving one activations worth of time to leave the bubble or lose consciousness. The sort of drawback to this ability is that no wind release jutsu of any kind that are not Vacuum style are permitted within it's boundaries. Additionally, as with all vacuum jutsu, it lacks it's ordinary weakness to the fire element. Meaning same rank collisions when dealing with it. Lasts for four posts or unless the user ends the jutsu earlier.

▱▰▱The emerald energy-covered general formed a massive celestial samurai made of the same essence. The spirit warrior formed around her body to protect her. The warrior spirit swung its massive two-hundred-foot katana down. The sword fell toward Sumika but the ethereal sword would disappear just before it could collide with the puppeteer. The samurai spirit was destroyed by the iron sand as the armored general followed suit. Her body was heavily impaled by the iron sand bullets and other attacks that caused her to completely collapse on the battlefield. As she fell to the ground, Kujaku flew toward her and unleashed a massive flaming tornado that would consume her and rip her to shreds mid-air.

The five tengu soldiers were engulfed by Theo's massive breath of flame mid-flight. They were deeply burned as their searing corpses fell out of the sky. The twin dragons of wind would then rip through the remaining samurai forces as they were unable to use chakra to defend themselves.

The hokage's arrival at the northern fort signaled doom from afar for the samurai. Marionettes entered the battlefield and carved into dozens of samurai with a blade. Meanwhile, puppet strings would break up the terrain along with the creation of a stone castle to give the fire forces even more of an advantage. The hundred puppet army who delved into the ground would need to spring their trap soon as the forces began retracting away.

Sonyo avoided the incoming oni clubs with ease due to her superior agility. A reddish shockwave would consume the group of oni. The rest were clotheslined and dropped by the might of Sonyo's close-quarters combat skills.

The Seiryu's summon's onslaught of water was stopped in its tracks by Mina's earthen barrier. Following that, the Seiryu officer stared at the handseals that Mina was forming. His eyes became fixated on this as he noticed that he was suddenly unable to move his body. He then felt the grains of iron sand begin to move up his legs. "Damned...dishonorable...genjutsu...shinobi. I...die...for...my...clan. Long...live...the...Seir-" He spoke with labored breath through the paralysis before being cut off. The proud Seiryu was cut off as he drowned in the iron sand and was crushed inside the coffin. Mina would see the fear in his eyes before he was fully undertaken. With his death, the yokai summon disappeared.

As the samurai fired arrows in the hopes of colliding with Roku their arrows were immediately reversed. The gust of wind carried the projectiles and sent the arrows flying back. They pierced through their armor and instantly killed all of the archers who were now collapsed onto the grass.

Samurai ceased pursuing Sheva as they watched dozens of samurai being felled on the battlefield by her might. The power of her massive vacuum ninjutsu tore up the terrain and around fifty samurai with it.

The highest-ranking officer on the battlefield was informed that Seizo was dead and the new shogun was ordering a full retreat. Given that they were nowhere close to being able to mount a successful siege on Goshodzuka the lieutenant simply yelled. "RETREAT!" More samurai extended the message and began running away from the fort. The siege weapons and corpses were abandoned as hordes of remaining samurai left the battlefield. Simultaneously, all yokai were released from samurai control and began leaving the area as well.
