A series of caves located inside the mountain range to the far west of the Land of Rivers. These caves have an interlocking network of pathways that lead to a massive, hollowed out cavern. Natural formations of gemstones and precious minerals grow within these caverns, and are protected jealously by the inhabitants. For inside these caves lives an entire population of humans, about the size of Tanigakure itself, a majority of which are Shoton (Crystal Release) clan members. A rather pacifist society, they really on the defensive properties of crystals and Doton to stop incoming threats. The people of the Diamond Dust Caverns are a crafting people, usually selling crystal made trinkets to other parts of the Land of Rivers. Anyone who has earned their trust (requiring a Mission of at least A Rank) can have their Enchantment crafting promotions be reduced by 1 job, at a minimum of 1.
