Surrounding the sprawling industrial village of Amegakure is the massive ten-mile wide circular Lake Yubiwa, also known as the Ring Lake. The lake is where the water irrigation system of Amegakure recycles out water from the lower-level Cistern Sector to prevent the village from flooding. Natural lake rising is mechanically prevented from spilling into the village through an intricate system of walls and dams. The frequent flooding of Lake Yubiwa only spills into the outward forested lands as a result. Lake Yubiwa is a natural mote for the purposes of the village's defenses. One massive mechanical bridge crosses over the entire lake that leads toward the tall iron gate and walls and is the only entrance into the village. In defense mode, the bridge can be retracted and the entire lake can be electrified.

Nothing is ever just black and white.
He'd learned to adapt to it after some time. The ancient blood inside of him. The ability to maintain the aesthetic while not inherently conceding to the swirling emptiness in his mind. Time spent evading pursuits and dispatching listless rogues made this appearance feel more appropriate opposed to his more dapper dressings. The owner of the antique shop he knew would not be able to make the journey so easily as such he was confined to Isekai Junsei. Then when their ventures would find themselves where they needed to be rather than impose immediately he would exit the canvas world with his elderly mercantile associate at the edge.
The owner of that edge, a ten mile wide lake spanned where the land of rain was allegedly hidden. Toso would gaze outward at the expanse of the water and then the antique merchant. He'd advise his sensei of antiquities to take residence in the trade caravan he had brought a long with him. The former Arashikage adjusted his glasses. The village would now be safe without him, his friends would be safe without him, his wife...she would be safe without him. Selfish abandonment of them all justified by the sideman's own beliefs. That belief that he was at his core a monster of many faces, a being that felt alien, and one that was dangerous to those he cared about.
Yet, there still ends that needed to be tied. That end and what it could entail, even in the worst of circumstances could be felt justified. Satoshi did many cruel things, Toso did many cruel things, at least in his own head he had. He believed, Satoshi would have no reservations if it came to it. Killing him and likewise...perhaps the vise versa...although that thought he would need to end Satoshi caused his stomach to knot. If he did lose himself, then Satoshi's sins would justify what calamity that could ensue and even in that calamity selfishly would Toso remain with the one individual he had wounded the most. Satoshi. The people who follow Satoshi did so perhaps out of fear, perhaps out of ignorance...but Toso he had no intention to follow Satoshi for any other reason aside one. That reason was...to be there for him now. Even if it was too late. Even if now he only the ex-kage as a scar from his past as oppose to any sort of father, like the dad who went out for milk and never came back he left one house for another.
Only one person in this village mattered. Only one person in this village would he have any semblance of sympathy for. There was the bigger question. Was he doing this for Satoshi? For the son he believed he had failed...NO. He was doing this for himself. To fill that void that he was a failure of a father. A failure that couldn't support his son then. A failure who now sought to be there for that son now. Toso would look at the trade caravan. Yes he was a great man, but he had little life left in him despite his optimism. A great teacher that showed him that Toso needed to at time consider his own happiness. To do the things that would make him happy...and while Toso himself wasn't certain that mending his relationship with Satoshi would make him happy the thought of at least being around the boy who was like his son would.
Toso opened the pocket watch. One of the pair. He watch the needle tick as it hit the stroke of noon did it caw. He wondered if Satoshi looked at his watch and did the same. Toso would tuck it away. If he had truly made a village to be reckoned, then most certainly there would be patrols around the perimeter. Individuals who report to their the happenings in their region and while Toso wouldn't be so bold as to cross the mass of water so suddenly he'd know for certain that if Satoshi were truly here...eventually he'd know who was waiting at the edge of Lake Ring. It was only a matter of time.

▱▰▱"You look different, father." His voice boomed over the gates before he even appeared. The projection of his voice was loud through the audio systems of the Illusion Grid and yet his tone slithered off his tongue. At the top of the gate, as well as over the lake, a flock of crows swirled above Toso. If Toso chose to, he would walk along the mechanical bridge that extended to allow him to cross the lake closer to where most of the dozens of crows would ultimately coalesce. Satoshi's face and torso appeared as the crows partially formed his body and flew above Toso if he were to cross. He would hear the caws and flapping of wings that announced the Amekage's arrival. Satoshi's form was otherworldly as it billowed with the ebony plumes of his crows. Both of Satoshi's eyes were revealed although weakened by constant usage of late. One of his Sharingan was red and the other sharingan was violet and illuminated. Crows continued circling overhead as Satoshi was half-formed. The sky above was the same violet as his crow eye. The indigo light came from the moon which was an identical projection of the crow eye. Rain poured down onto everyone on the ground level from the black and purple sky. Loose feathers were shaken from the ungainly fowls that flew above. The feathers rained down in tandem with the droplets. "Although, I suppose I do as well." The crow sage finished his thought as more crows seemed to arrived and fly over the area. If Toso were to look upon his visage he would see Satoshi blink which then caused the moon itself to blink. Yogen then landed on his shoulder from the flock as he was more fully formed with his limbs but still partially constituted by the peon crows. "Did Unki tell yee to come here? Has word of my village spread far enough yet? Is this the moment when Arashi tries to claim its most hated rogue?" Satoshi was isolated and assumed that Toso was still the Arashikage. What's more, he thought that Toso's ally Unki would have told him about the severed head of one of her generals that he sent as a message that the Lightning Empire would no longer control the Rain Country. Satoshi asked his questions as his gleaming crow eye looked down on Toso. He would not attack or use genjutsu against his disowned adoptive father for the time being. No gate guards would follow him, only Soyeon, he felt confident enough in his own power to resist Toso or any other forces of Arashigakure. "I told Unki to stay out of my territory. Although I suppose now that I'm a kage I'm above the pay grade of the Oinin at long last. For if you steal a ship you're a pirate, steal a country and you're a statesman." Satoshi was amused by the hypocrisy of it all. When he was a lowly rogue his station was quite different. His entire status in life changed in a heartbeat and he savored every instance of it.

The created monster can use basic combat attacks against another player's monster. When a player's monster dies a tiered amount of insanity based on the chakra rank of the monster inflicts the creator. If a monster harms a player's body they believe the injuries are real.

These oni are born with gray skin that turns violet from the amount of Yorujozo they consume. Regular consumption of Yorujozo can turn the lips violet while constant intake dyes the body's skin. Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. Yorujozo is a viscous liquid of violet coloring that flows like honey and creates illusory fumes. It tastes as foul as ink when it hits the tongue but has a sweet and pleasant taste when swallowed. Personal Attributes ▱▰▱ Crow Eye | When a young Satoshi looked through the lens of fate to see his prophecy, his right eye was taken as a price. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. Mangekyo skills used through the crow eye are reduced by [1] use before the blindness status is inflicted. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. However, the cursed crow eye is maddening when gazed upon as when a genjutsu is cast through it the eye glares with extremely bright violet light and inflicts insanity equal to the rank of the technique. ▱▰▱ Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. As a result, in combat, non-instance genjutsu cast by Satoshi in combat last for one post longer for no upkeep cost for each actively summoned crow on the battlefield (maximum of 5) as long as he is the contract holder. ▱▰▱ Violet Delerium | The user excels at Genjutsu that is used with the clan's miasma. The user gains 4 additional genjutsu per body rank. In addition, their genjutsu cast by using the miasma as a source or trigger may add an additional sense to the illusion. The user gains an additional 2 custom slots to be used for Genjutsu involving their miasma. ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless | The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned. ▱▰▱ Holy Conversion | For every RPC converted to the archpriest's religion they gain an endgame reward of their choice. The endgame reward can only be up to 2,000 XP in value. This PA is only obtained by archpriests and is automatically obtained once that title is granted. ▱▰▱ Plunder of the Vagabond | As a globally feared villain, you will forever be able to obtain Endgame perks with only three-quarters of the experience required.

Soyeon's form followed her love in the swirl of crows from his office, gently hanging around his neck as she'd arrive. Their forms both a quill filled haze while the skies above would still be the same black color as they were from his activation of the illusion grid. A pitiful smile came to the woman's lips seeing Toso like this, chuckling to herself softly while she'd press her head against the side of Satoshi's. "It's so nice to see you again, Arashikage." she teased, sticking out her tongue. "As you can see, we've been quite busy as of late." She remained quiet otherwise, removing her arms from Satoshi's necks before recalling them to her sides, own own baby crows popping out of the furry neckline of her attire. Every so often, they'd patter off as she'd show them with affection before diving back into the comfort of their nest. Once Satoshi had finished, she looked to the moon with a confident stance before motioning towards it. "Steal is such a harsh word, my king. I prefer the term "reeducate". Everyone within Amegakure will learn their place beneath our foot or be crushed by it." Soyeon smirked. "But I wonder if he's still inside of you..."
Hearing Satoshi's voice over what sounded like a booming form of intercommunication device had the ex-arashikage smirk somewhat. Ho. So perhaps the ol squids penchant for the technological rubbed off on his son. Two of his tentacles lashed out of his back and with ease like a beast of burden would he pull the trade caravan behind him down the bridge. Although it wouldn't take long before he'd take a momentary pause as the one to greet him was not any form of guardsperson or the like but rather Satoshi himself. Or rather whom could only be believed to be Satoshi. The feeling Toso was getting was that somewhat sucker punch of a feeling the uncles or aunts get when they see niece or nephews grandkids they hadn't seen in years only to see that they went from basically a toddler to someone in high school. Of course introductions made Satoshi would point out his look as well as his own and wrapped that small talk up nicely. A slight chuckle under the old squidmans breathe as the reality of the situation unfolding began to set in. While it had only been an odd year or so 'give or take' since. it had felt as though he'd missed Satoshi's entire youth and then some. It certainly did create that feeling of dad going out for cigarettes and coming back twenty years later.
"Guess its true what they say, bloop. You blink once and your kids are already all grown up and conquering small nations." Toso would take off the edge of this reunion by breaking in with some humor. Rattled by nervousness of course. Having shed the name Hojo it was uncertain if that was done as a kindness or as an act of denouncement of Toso's existence in Satoshi's life. However, the fact that Satoshi came in person and addressed him at the very least showed that if there was bad blood at least his son was tolerant. That and the fact he wasn't walking in circles right now being pecked apart but damned crows. "As for most hated rogue..." Toso would crack the back of his neck whilst simultaneously rubbing it...then, give an almost confident if not partially proud smile in the typical Toso smile fashion where it was slight but enough to garner that impression with a sharp eye. "Afraid someone else has taken that title. uni." Toso folded his arms and made an exasperated sigh. "As for Unk-n..." He stopped himself. Such names as Unk-nee and Shio-nee were no longer something he found palpable anymore. It was best that such emotions were done away with. He shook his head. "Empress Amano. Had nary anything to do with my arrival I've come of my own volition."
Toso would close his eyes and inhale deeply the surrounding air. The moisture that permeated the surroundings of Amegakure slickened his skin. When he opened them again he'd see Satoshi enveloped by his still unknown to him 'girlfriend'. He wouldn't have any correlation with this now sultry temptress and the former what he believed to be innocent at the time Soy-yeon. 'No. no. We came here to speak with your son.' he'd tell himself, not question his choice in women and whether or not this is some power thirsty harlot fit on corrupting his former son...if only he knew just how vise of versa his thought process here actually was. In the grand scheme of things...ironic. He'd chime Bae's introduction with a slight tinge of ignorance "Have we met? bloop?" genuinely Toso unable to correlate when he'd last met this individual as of all changes undoubtedly hers was one of the most drastic. Satoshi could age however he pleased but Toso would always recognize the boy he raised...and on that topic.
Again Toso would inhale deeply. Soyeon's arrival was the momentary pause perhaps needed that allowed him to compile his thoughts. While Satoshi and Soyeon both looked like imposing leaders in their own caste with looks fit to set a world on fire. Toso's was relaxed if not tired, as he proceeded towards the caravan he'd brought with him he sat down somewhat on it, like a tired old man about to tell his grandkids a story. If there was any belief that Toso had hostile intent it would have dissipated entirely. He couldn't look Satoshi in the eye as he proceeded as his head was weighed down by the shame of it all.
"Congratulations Sato. Bloop. You've really made something of yourself all this while. Questions about morality and social quandaries aside you aspired to accomplish something on your own and it seems you've succeeded bloop. As natural whenever a father sees a son accomplish what he aspires its only fitting for that father to say...I'm proud of you son." Toso trailed off before he moved into the next part of his no doubt trademark windbaggery. "Well assuming you still see me as a father that is. uni. Otherwise I can see those words being pretty empty. uni. No more beating around the brine...I came here to apologize." Toso would struggle with the conversation but he would this following make eye contact with Satoshi as the gravity in his tone accentuated how heavy his emotions were in relation to the subject matter. "After inheriting Arashigakure I spent years trying to make it a safe place. A sanctuary. I thought the people of the village as my family but in doing so I had neglected one thing. My actual family. I neglected Kameyo, I neglected my friendships who were like blood to me, but worst of all I had neglected, you...Sato. Acting as if my sister was your actual caretaker when you essentially lived with me through most of your youth."
Toso would stand up from the caravan no longer in his slump. The rain had done well to accentuate the emotions of the reunion. Toso's hair was disheveled and his glasses fogged up. What was standing before Sato was man, a man that gave off the aura of having been broken by something but still carried inside of it a mighty 'NEED' a need for something unknown. Had Sato descended at all Toso would approach him until they were but an inche or so apart, otherwise he would simply look up to his son above him and continue with a soft smile. "and while it may seem too late for apologies and while you may perhaps now see me as a shadow of your past. Before I am hunted for betraying the village I once saw as family for a son I made estranged due to my own hubris. uni. I merely have this to say. I love you Satoshi, and would like to be here for you now, unlike all the times I wasn't there for you then...of course I understand, I may be too little too late as you've no doubt surrounded yourself by those far better than myself. uni." he would give a passing glance to Soyeon. Toso had gotten this burden off his chest. Whether his words meant anything to Satoshi or not it was now irrelevant...for at its core Toso was driven by the selfish desire to at the very least come to terms with the son he had seen but never recognized. Toso was readily intent to give his service not to the village of Amegakure itself but to his son.

She was a similar haze of crows forming much of her constitution as they used the avians to transport themselves to meet with Toso. His crow eye moon would create a blare of violet light that would spotlight Toso. Once his tentacles grew out from his back the light illuminated the darkness and would stab into Toso's eyes as he took center stage. Satoshi and Soyeon would continue levitating in the dark shade above. "Small for now." The Amekage added to the former Arashikage's words as he meaningfully glanced toward the north. There was much to be conquered but he looked only briefly before returning to focusing on the man under the light. He was being examined by the eye in the sky itself, the lone light in the darkness. The light was revealing in such a way that it would buttress Toso's confession. "Is that so?" Satoshi's ears perked up from learning that there was a new rogue of Arashi that was even more hated. Based on Toso's tone he could only assume that he was referring to himself, but what happened? Amegakure was still so isolated from foreign affairs at least until Yazawa would finish establishing their international presence.
▱▰▱He was intrigued by Toso's next statement that he was here of his own choice. It was clear that he was present on his own and if he was truly a rogue shinobi now then he did not have Arashi at his back. When Toso did not recognize Soyeon he was unsurprised. He remained quiet so that Soyeon would have an opportunity to identify herself. When Toso proceeded to express his pride, Satoshi was completely shocked. Satoshi grew up to represent everything that Toso did not want for him. Toso was a believer in free will while Satoshi was obsessively chasing an inescapable fate. "Aye, there's much to be proud of. I'm the man who stole the Prophet, became the crow sage, blackened the Sun, slayed the Seiryu, reaved the globe, killed Jashin's avatar, and now I've hypnotized millions. And yet in my greatness as Yatagarasu's champion, I've merely walked the path laid bare before I by prophecy." The crow sage gave a wicked smile as he felt vindicated in his view of the world. In his eyes, he had followed his prophecy to the tee and it all came to pass. He recalled when Toso told him that he would make his own destiny through choices. Even as a boy he doubted it then and now his worldview was completely sealed. There was no going back and it only seemed that in his apology Toso was trying to go back to the past. Toso's apology about abandoning him and distancing himself from him stirred sorrow in Sato. It almost cause tears to well into his partially blinded eyes. However, the master manipulator could practically feel himself putting on a mask. His face was not obstructed, but the image of Satoshi betrayed what was within. Everything about Satoshi was a mask. From his devilish charm to his gravitas to his pirate accent to his intense rage. It was a broad collection of masks that allowed him to manipulate others just to prove that he could. The fact that so many people believed in his pirate action was just another way of controlling them, albeit minuscule. These small mind games sometimes had a purpose but often they were just for his own amusement.
▱▰▱Toso seemed worried based on his tone that Satoshi would not accept his apology and reject him. He was attempting to placate what he assumed would be the dark side of Satoshi's wrath for neglecting him. The village throws him away and so he comes running back to me? It's clear that he seeks the safety of my village and will pull on my heartstrings to find refuge. His regret seems genuine but remorse is a symptom of losing all that one has. He forced tears to roll from his eyes. They were of blood, salt, and sorrow as he lowered himself and Soyeon onto the drawbridge. These bloody crocodile tears were a result of his prior use of kotoamatsukami and tsukuyomi to take control of the village but he would use them to his advantage now. His crow body would now fully reconstitute himself with new elegant clothing. His fine vest and violet velvet lining in his coattals would billow behind him as he placed Soyeon down and walked toward Toso. His sword, Kagekiken, remained harmlessly sheathed as he wrapped his arms around Toso as he let his sobs escape. They were not completely fake as he was often depressed by his childhood but they were definitely played up to his advantage. "I love you, father. I forgive you and of course, you can stay with me. You weren't perfect but you protected me and kept my secret before I was strong enough to fend for myself. It's the least I can do." Satoshi's voice was kind, forgiving, and reassuring to Toso as he continued to cry and hug Toso. He hoped that this mask would be pleasing to Toso as he continued his strategy. How truly regretful he is. Toso is so sorrowful and yet so...useful. He has Saiken and I can use him as a bargaining chip against Arashi. Perfection. Satoshi felt he was given a gift and yet another opportunity to leverage his power. He needed to keep his regime secure using both hard and soft power against the other nations of the shinobi world. His eyes still seemed glossy and vulnerable despite his feeling of glee from now being in an even greater position of control. For years he felt like Toso was in complete control of him until he rebelled. Yet now was his opportunity to manipulate the one man he was unable to before. Satoshi and Toso would embrace under the crow eye's violet light before he separated from him. On both sides of the metallic drawbridge, two massive krakens would appear through the water on either side of them. They were even larger than the skyline of Amegakure as Satoshi expanded his arms. The krakens and the crows were a homage to Toso and Satoshi coming together. "See father, using the technology I gathered from Arashi and the Prophet I'm able to bend reality within the village to my whims!" Satoshi was now genuinely excited to display the illusory prowess of the Grid. Once the krakens appeared they would dissolve into millions of butterflies of many colors that then took to the skies. "I learned from the best, after all. Do you have any questions before we go inside?" What Satoshi was referring to was the mixture of village-wide technology usage by Toso when he was the Arashikage as well as the genjutsu prowess of his mother on the Kogarashi island that he was born on. The cycle was now completed.

Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. Soyeon gave a pout as the two landed on the drawbridge. It was such a shame that the kage of Arashi, or former, didn't instantly recognize her. It was probably in part due to the blessing that Satoshi had given to her, many of her previous features having been changed as a part of this. Her golden irises would glimmer in anticipation while she watched Satoshi and his father. "Ah, a shame. Pardon me, I tend to forget that my changes were far more drastic than I'd hope." The woman would bow her head once towards Toso, her right hand gently moving some stray strands of blackened hair from her vision. "Bae Soyeon, the newly appointed Minister of Amegakure." With her introductions out of the way, she'd allow her lover to set her down and go about to reuniting with his father. She was still a bit left in the winds as to what Satoshi's plan for Toso. From what she could recall, Toso had been a pretty terrifying powerhouse in his own right. Even removing the demon that had been sealed inside of him, his Hojo techniques were always a slight interest to the woman. Many people would see it as simply annoyances or things that would have been quite passed over, but she had an innate curiosity to see how they could be pushed further. Granted, finding somebody with that bloodline was already difficult in itself. As far as she recalled, only Toso would be the one with such abilities.
Father and son shared a moment as Soyeon would sit back and watch as his illusion grid would work its magic. The shapes of two massive krakens arose from the depths of the water, their forms soon dissipating into a storm of butterflies, flapping their beady little wings through the air. A swirl of colors and imagery unlike any other, born from only the simplest of genjutsu and magnified because of what kept the village's people in line. After they had finished up, Soyeon took her place by Satoshi's side yet again. A part of it was mainly out of her blind devotion for the village leader but also some semblance of not wishing to be on her own for too much longer. The events leading up to this had only caused the underlying issues that were already present to become more severe. Her arm trailed around Satoshi's side, her hip pressed into his while she would eagerly await the two's departure to show their esteemed guest a tour of the village.
tab Far above the reunion below a flock of paper airplanes darted through the skies towards the Land of Fire and ultimately their destination. It wouldn't be too long before they'd be at the gates of Konoha.
Toso, even in his earnest was never the emotional type. Or rather never one to wear them so cleanly on his sleeves. Whether it was Satoshi's own developments or Toso's own influence like father like son did both carry with them that capability of being able to masquerade as something or someone else. Satoshi might find Toso's sudden appearance and submission suspicious. However, in Toso's case, he didn't care whether or not Satoshi was putting up a front, whether his tears were crocodilian or not. Toso had essentially left ashes to the ashes, his ideas and opinions on the subject mooted, by his own hands as he had embraced the concept of nihilism in full. If Satoshi was using him for his title as jinchuriki, whether he did this out of genuine love, even had he been denied. None of that mattered. It all totaled into the greater end of it. That end was simply finding closure for himself until his self-satisfaction reached a satisfactory enough point that he could die believing himself to be something other that what he currently saw himself as, this being a failure in a multitude of aspects. Toso selfishly burned his bridges, he would burn this one as well no doubt eventually as he believed in his head. However Toso had surmised that he was a danger , if not, now a monstrous unknown to even himself. Should he burn anymore bridges he would prefer to have it collapse with as few people as possible that he cared about. Here. In Amegakure, there would be only one person he cared about. Satoshi and he would remain the only one he would care about from then on. Toso was no fool and certainly he was confident Satoshi already calculated the tactile advantages of having someone like himself inhabiting his village. Genuine, Ingenuine, or for the sake of the ex-arashikages status and power alone being accepted was still nonetheless satisfying. In each others arms did father and son reunite under the faces they wore that would grant the other comfort and reassurance as the phantasmal display accentuated the scene as though it was a spectacle.
After embraces. Toso would return the woman's bow with what seemed like earnestness. No he did not remember her. Even with introductions. That was simply put how irrelevant she was. Applying the same pressure one would get at a dinner table from the dad asking a son 'so are you with my daughter?'. Truth be told, the horns would likely sound a rivalry in the making. Here I thought you believed my tinkering as uninteresting and here it has inspired you to such great lengths...of course now that I'm here perhaps we can see about tuning it to further its potential bloop." Toso would toot his own horn, however it did express his willingness it seemed to help Satoshi pursue his goals. The strangest thing to be coming out of these conversations was how despite everything Satoshi had done up to this point that Toso no doubt knew Satoshi wasn't being pressed about any of it. There was so much Satoshi had done that no doubt would have incurred a firm lecture from his father..but there would be none and Toso would affirm this curious streak of conversations
Toso as the group proceeded shook his head finalizing his transition and laying some things bare. "My only question is, are you happy Satoshi? That's all I really want at this point. You see. I sacrificed a lot of my own happiness for the happiness of others that I shouldn't have cared all that much about bloop. In that process I found myself being miserable as a result bloop. I should have focused on those I truly should have cared about and ensuring their happiness and thus by relation in how much I care about them I could find happiness bloop. Truly had you declined to take me in, I would have asked you take in this merchant into your village, likely I would then have simply willingly returned to village in which I committed treason, and just as simply face execution. The only reason I had even chosen to remain alive up until now was for you. Just know this Sato. Your father herein will do everything and anything for you. Even if they are things your mother forbade. Such as reuniting with your true father. You are after all, old enough to make your own decisions." The merchant Toso was referring to was the old man inside the trade caravan who had taken him in after he abandoned Arashi. The old man himself likely didn't have many years left but the fact that Toso had brought him with him at least showed that he was significant enough to Toso. Of course Toso was welcomed by Satoshi, this old man, not necessarily so and whether that would cause Satoshi to say something or whether it was simply another body to add to village was up to Satoshi.

His first lady also received a vital ministerial position charged with publishing the propaganda for the regime. This was a role that she was uniquely suited for and he hoped that she could begin soon. His arm slithered around her waist when she stood beside him and held him. "We're bound by something not so flimsy as matrimony but by prophecy. We've aged together, we belong together." Satoshi was convinced by his reading of the crow lore that he and Soyeon were meant to be together for eternity. Even death would not split them. "I'm unsure if you've ever tried illusion tech, father. Powerful chakra batteries pump energy into massive receptors which can continuously cast the same genjutsu over and over. They can make the illusions even grander with the large grid of projectors, light, audio, and other assets hidden across the village. They said that infinite tsukuyomi was a myth and science proved them wrong. Bloop." Satoshi playfully mimicked Toso as he explained the illusion grid. Although this was the basis of how it functioned there were some other secrets of how it worked that he was not keen on sharing with anyone but this description should suffice for now.
As for Toso's question, happiness was mostly relative in Satoshi's mind. It was usually tied to satisfying his violent hedonism for ephemeral durations. However, he listened to Toso's explanation of what ultimately led to his downfall. "I was unhappy in Arashi. You and I lived under the weight of my secret. If the villagers knew who I truly was then they'd have had our heads. I couldn't handle the pressure anymore. When I was on the Prophet I was free to follow my destiny. But here, in Amegakure, reality itself is as I define it." Satoshi then formed extremely realistic illusionary images of Kagami, Sandayu, and Toso all holding him tightly as a child. Satoshi was in complete control of what constituted truth in his village. For who in this village could deny the architect of truth?
Suddenly, a messenger arrived to inform Satoshi that the academy was ready to institute his preparations. "Perfect, come along father, you will behold the glory of this great village firsthand." Satoshi would then lead Toso while holding Soyeon. They walked to the other side of the bridge and toward the academy.

Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The user gains 4 additional genjutsu per body rank. In addition, their genjutsu cast by using the miasma as a source or trigger may add an additional sense to the illusion. The user gains an additional 2 custom slots to be used for Genjutsu involving their miasma. ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless | The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned. ▱▰▱ Holy Conversion | For every RPC converted to the archpriest's religion they gain an endgame reward of their choice. The endgame reward can only be up to 2,000 XP in value. Along her travels of the world, Kagami would be faring well. Testing her limits, planning the downfall of villages, the usual things that a successful warlord would be doing. Unfortunately, finding people who shared her same view was somewhat difficult as the Jashinists had more or less ruined her plans ever since they had popped up those weeks ago. So it came with a heavy heart that she would have to bite her tongue and search for some kind of food so she wouldn't starve. Her stomach growled ravenously as she traveled along the rainy, humid road. It was only a short while until she came across the grands gates of...wherever this village was. To be honest, she hadn't even known there was a village here out in the middle of these lands. Kagami felt sick to her stomach just gazing upon the walls of this prison. Those few tortured souls that had been in such poverty, while the rich elite would gaze down upon them in their pointed towers up above. Kagami furrowed her brows and would mentally chalk this up to a scouting mission of sorts. She wasn't going to just play along to enabling this affront to her worldview. This village, alongside every other, would be razed to the ground until there would only be equality from the ashes.
She walked to the gates, the rain tapping upon her head, and address the gate guard present with arms crossed. "I require entry into the village." she said, eventually being led inside by a KASA agent, and dragged to the Kage Office.

↳ Gen. Specialist: Those who are a specialist can choose one category of genjutsu to follow as a path. You can follow the path of the illusionist (illusory focus), enchanter/enchantress (enchantment focus), trickster (instance focus), or conjurer (chain focus). Selecting a Path grants [3] additional custom slots and [1] keystone for techniques of that category. Genjutsu that are cast by those of this specialization are more efficient as according to the user's body rank, all Genjutsu are [10] Chakra cheaper to perform with the user's specialized Focus are further reduced by another [5] Chakra per body rank. No cost can be lower than a minimum of [5] Chakra. Once every other post all three of the genjutsu specialist's activations in a post can be used for genjutsu.
↳ Master of Deception: With genjutsu, realism and the sensory ability of the target factor heavily into the ability of the victim to realize they are in a genjutsu. The illusionist chooses [1] Sense of Specialization that will render a genjutsu cost [1] rank less if the casted genjutsu's primary sense is their specialization. Genjutsu that use the illusionist's Sense of Specialization as the primary sense become resistant to the sensory powers of sages and non-Infinite Perception discipline scholars. This resistance means that the genjutsu will go unnoticed from these abilities. Since the illusionist has become so adept in their Sense of Specialization they may always weave it into genjutsu as an Additional Sense unless it would bring the illusion's sensory control above the [5] limit. The illusionist may also always select any Additional Sense that is not their Sense of Specialization to add to a genjutsu as long as it does not exceed the cap of [5] manipulated senses.
Sense of Specialization: Sound ↳ Lasting Hypnosis: The user's genjutsu prowess has achieved a heightened level of potency and lingers for longer. The primary sense of any genjutsu that was released using Kai lingers for [1] additional post. This residual effect is minor because the manipulation of the target with the technique has ended. For example, a complete darkness sight genjutsu that was dispelled may leave the lingering feeling that the world is still a bit darker than it is in reality. If a genjutsu used a mental status effect then it will linger for [1] post longer at one level below what it was before at a minimum of level one. Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. Genjutsu upkeep lessens by [5] Chakra per body rank and non-Instant are applied with overwhelming, requiring lingering genjutsu to use [1.5x] the resource to Kai.
↳ Kurama: Sakkakugan owners are typically physically fragile. The Sakkakugan is able to see the life-force of a demon inside it's host even when it is hidden by a seal. Genjutsu rank D - C cost [5] less chakra to perform. Genjutsu rank B - A cost [10] less chakra to perform. Genjutsu rank S cost [20] less chakra to perform. Kai costs [10] less chakra to perform.
↳ Sakkakugan Abilities: Life Sense: Within 100 meters, any type of life is able to be seen as a bright glow, when even the Byakugan cannot see it. Potent Illusions: Genjutsu performed while Sakkakugan is active are treated to cost an extra [5] chakra per rank of the genjutsu to Kai Sixth Sense as the First: With a stationary body, the user can detach his vision and walk around to look at things. Cannot physically move during this. The Gift of Life: The user may trade their life for another's, resurrecting them if they were recently killed.
↳ Personal Attributes: Abolishing Sight: All techniques labeled 'weakness' have their duration increased by [1] post. Interweaving Fairytales: Because the Sakkakugan is so adept at weaving genjutsu together they are afforded a unique version of self korabo which is done in place of a normal korabo between two illusions. When more than one genjutsu is on the target their ranks are shifted so that the lower ranked genjutsus get their strength bumped up to highest ranked genjutsu on the target for the rest of it's duration. This is only useable up to the users self ranked korabo level and each genjutsu is still treated as separate when interacting with kai. Any upkeeps are also increased to reflect this change. Otherwordly Imagery: Genjutsu performed by Emiko cannot be mimicked or reversed by any means. ( Genjutsu can still be broken, however. ) Mental Break: Emiko is able to use each Sakkakugan's "weakness" techniques twice instead of once. Doubtful Whispers: With her focus on auditory hallucinations, Emiko is able to cast any genjutsu through the sense of sound. Vicarious Visions: When a genjutsu deals with any elemental status that can be attributed, the target will suffer from the tier that is one rank below of the genjutsu cast. Any resources afflicted are only temporary, and given back when the genjutsu is kai'd or broken through some other means.

All players including the user start with the first tier of mental stress. Expending 10 chakra allows violet light to consume any player including the user and opponent to cloak them in invisibility. Using combat actions causes the hider to be revealed. Invisibility does not consume an action so players can weave in and out of invisibility with ease. When a player makes physical contact with another it makes the other player "found" and raises their tier of mental stress by one. The player that reaches the fourth tier of mental stress first loses the game and is affected by genjutsu at [1] sense higher for the rest of the battle. Act III. Because of the illusionary nature of the fog, it can be blasted away but will cover the area immediately and seems to constantly replace itself. In the fog's denseness, there are passing phantoms of monstrous yokai. While in the fog, players can create [1] X-Ranked monster per post of their own imagination using their own chakra. The created monster can use basic combat attacks against another player's monster. When a player's monster dies a tiered amount of insanity based on the chakra rank of the monster inflicts the creator. If a monster harms a player's body they believe the injuries are real.

These oni are born with gray skin that turns violet from the amount of Yorujozo they consume. Regular consumption of Yorujozo can turn the lips violet while constant intake dyes the body's skin. Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. Yorujozo is a viscous liquid of violet coloring that flows like honey and creates illusory fumes. It tastes as foul as ink when it hits the tongue but has a sweet and pleasant taste when swallowed. It can easily be made into gas and applied to miasma techniques. Yorujozo when it poisons a target is highly sedative and reduces speed greatly. It causes insanity and intense hallucinations psychologically. Physically the poison turns the skin violet and necrotic while causing the eyes to shake and is intensely disorienting. The rare black forest leaves that are used to brew this poison can be used as an acutely efficacious antidote.

Personal Attributes ▱▰▱ Crow Eye | When a young Satoshi looked through the lens of fate to see his prophecy, his right eye was taken as a price. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. Mangekyo skills used through the crow eye are reduced by [1] use before the blindness status is inflicted. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. However, the cursed crow eye is maddening when gazed upon as when a genjutsu is cast through it the eye glares with extremely bright violet light and inflicts insanity equal to the rank of the technique. ▱▰▱ Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. This does not effect the strength of the user's fire based techniques. In addition, should the user's fire ninjutsu or clan techniques interact with another fire based technique, the user's technique steals one rank of chakra from the opposing technique. If this overpowers the opponents technique, this technique continues on it's path normally. ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless | The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned. ▱▰▱ Holy Conversion | For every RPC converted to the archpriest's religion they gain an endgame reward of their choice. The endgame reward can only be up to 2,000 XP in value.
