[Ephemeral Ozymandias]

The Amegakure General Hospital is located in the Earth Sector and is the primary surgery and clinic center in the village. It also provides educational services in iryojutsu for medical shinobi.

Not far down the road from where Roku had committed patricide was a hospital. As the man followed the road to the hospital, the illusion grid was activated. Fortunately for Roku, he wasn't affected by the mass genjutsu that immediately began enthralling the village. The man activated his sharingan to look at the impressive lacework of chakra all across the village. It was almost beautiful to the man as the rain poured through the chakra that spread across the village. The peaceful moment was soon to fade as Roku began making his way to the hospital once again. He'd walk through the door at no particularly quick pace. Not like he was in a hurry anymore. His mission was completed and that was really all that mattered.

"I need these implanted." Roku unsealed the eyes from a tattoo of eyes on his fore arm and put his father's eyes on the desk of the receptionist. The girl didn't seem amused by the gruesome nature of what Roku had just done. Not that Roku really cared, he was far too desensitized to care at this point. Afterall, it had only been minutes since he took those very same eyes from his father's skull. Oddly enough all he really felt was numb. He thought he'd be happy, feel some sort of relief, or something. It wasn't the case. He felt more empty than ever.

"Right this way sir." A nurse ushered Roku into an operating room where his father's eyes were to be implanted. The man followed the woman and laid on the bed with very little hesitation. 'I hope you're happy with yourself. You got what you ever wanted. You created me.' Roku thought to himself as a mask was placed on his face. His mother's face appeared in his memories, he couldn't but help think about all he had lost. It was like he lost everything. 'What's life gonna possibly be like without you ma?' A tear pooled in the corner of his eye before streaking down the side of his face. 'A piece of me has been cut out of me eternally. I'm scared to be alone without you.' Roku's hand instinctively rubbed against the tattoo of his mother on his arm as the gas he was inhaling put him to sleep as his final conscious thoughts.

Hours later the procedure was finished and Roku left the hospital with his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

The user expels chakra into one of their tattoo's equal to the rank of a spiritual technique targeting the user. The user's tattoo absorbs the technique, keeping it sealed within the art for no more than eight posts. This technique must be cast at the rank and potency of the technique being sealed. Releasing the technique costs an activation but no chakra when preformed.

Ryuken Hoshigaki

Lead to the General Hospital by his sensei, Ryuken was assigned a Chūnin to guide him with some general experience. The Chūnin was named Kilala Minori. Kilali had explained that there were 5 branches in the medical career path. If Ryuken wanted to be fully prepared to consider that path, he would have to practice in each different area and see how it's done.

For the first area that Ryuken was going to practice in, he would follow a General Physician specialist. Kilala was actually already one, so this was an excellent segway. Demonstrating her work with another patient, Kilala taking their various vitals and using the Diagnosis technique.Ryuken been familiar with seeing such an ability. With some help from Kilala, Ryuken did this manually taking their vitals and information from questions since he did not possess medical jutsu for 4 more patients, eventually on the last one doing the entire procedure on his own with Kilala merely becoming an observer. They discovered this group of villagers were from the Cistern and had been sick due to the poor conditions of the sewage system. [Rank E | Diagnosing the Problem mission complete]

For the next track of his medical internship, Ryuken would be lead by Kilala to a different Chūnin called Ayamu Seni who was an expert on the Emergency path. As Ryuken was about to ask Ayamu what needed to be done, a patient had been rushed in with what looked to be a stab wound and a lot of blood. Ayamu called out, "Come here, kid. I need you to extract the poison and then close the wound." Springing into action Ryuken watched Kilala proceed to use Extraction, followed by Cleanse, and then Thread. Taking out what poison he was able to he then cleaned the area of bacteria and potential infection. Then using Thread he closed the wounded area to stop any external bleeding. Ayamu acknowledged that Ryuken possessed the natural calm that came with it and considered that enough practice in itself. [Rank E | Quick Thinking mission complete]

Ryuken Hoshigaki

The following career path for his internship program would be Internal. Assigned to yet another Chūnin named Ayasaka Naoiri, he found himself in a difficult case. Ayasaka explained, "Due to the conditions of the Cistern, often people turn to addictive drugs in order to deal with their unsatisfactory lives." Moving to inject the patient, they tried to break free of their restraints. One of the restraints was not tight enough, and he reached to attack the medical Chūnin. Grabbing his wrist, Ryuken pulled his arm back with both arms as Ayasaka tightened the buckle and injected him. He watched as the man's eyes glared at her and he cursed out about how evil the Earth sector is. Going to another patient suffering the same situation, Ayasaka restrained him while Ryuken injected the woman. He felt pain and anger, seeing as these were people from where he came from, but would not let it distract him from his mission. [Rank E | Abuse and Restraint mission complete]

Next Ayasaka had lead Ryuken to the psychiatric ward of the hospital. Most people assumed all of the patients here were crazy or lost in their heads. Honda Riyizawa was the Chūnin that would take over for Ryuken in this area. For the patient that they were helping, Honda explained that they possessed a mental disease that caused them to drown their own children, perhaps as a post pregnancy hormonal imbalance. Nonetheless, the woman was under watch to make sure she didn't hurt herself. Ryuken had been assigned to go and give her daily meal as well as ask her how she was feeling. The woman refused to eat, and explained how she was not getting good sleep as she continued to have nightmares about what she did. Having her lay down, Ryuken used the Feigning Sleep technique to help her fall into a slumber. [Rank E | Blame Not the Mother mission complete]

Ryuken Hoshigaki

The final area of the medical career internship was Surgery. Surprisingly, he was met by Kilala Minori the first one he worked with before, whom apparently was an expert in two fields. Taking him to the surgery section of the hospital, he saw that it was the same patient that had the poison extracted and the wound closed. "We discovered from further examination that he actually has a ruptured artery and will have to perform surgery. You'll be watching and handing me tools and keeping this man calm." Handing over tools carefully as requested, Kilala commended Ryuken for figuring out what she meant without having any real knowledge. He messed up a couple times, but it was sufficient. The man reached out and Ryuken held his hand as the surgery took a solid hour of time. [Rank E | Sometimes You Stitch Inside completed]

Having finished his internship examining the medical career, Ryuken was met by his sensei and brought to the Amegakure Combat Center to learn about Gladiators.
