The street system on the ground level beneath the towers of pipes and electrical wires connects all points of the village together in a spiderweb design as seen from the sky sector. The majority of markets and shops are located in the Earth Sector's streets.

Sitting at the counter of a side store an odd, teen looking girl was not participating in the toys bloodbath exams nor a part of the villages mandatory military clause. It was fortunate she had not formal registry either, so being able to accuse her of such was hard for the time being, at least until she became noticed. For now though she was enjoying being treated to a red bean bun, holding it with both hands just beneath her mouth after taking her first bite. She chewed the mouthful as her tastebud were struck with the unfamiliar taste and texture combination, this taste making her very happy indeed, unable to stop herself chewing to savour it more. Giving a nod of thanks to the kind vendor who offered her the product, the odd girl would skip away while taking another bite of her lovely treat and a deal less hungry than she had been.

Still things were off of late as things she didn’t totally understand nor was aware of had taken place, her odd mind immune to the illusion grids control to the point she only noticed the strange creatures and apparitions that appeared as a result and not that something was even attempting to afflict her mind. These creatures didn’t seem to bother people which as a result, bother her more then there sudden arrival had as she had only just started getting used to things. Another thing was that people she met acted differently, like almost everyone had changed all at once…. everyone but her and the people in the shiny sector. It was really due to her often coming out in small intervals to work and gather resources or commodities to enjoy or learn from, then spending around a week or so at her home, hidden deep in the waterways and occasionally popping up in the lower cistern areas due to feeling restless or curious.

Another big change were the umbrella lot that had begun to appear and she tended to feel on edge about. Now it was not that umbrella weapons were uncommon in the village, it was more the fact a these people were dressed rather uniform and were keeping an eye on people, she’d even seen them take one or two away and as such deemed them a threat to avoid if she could. That’s why why she saw a pair of them patrolling the streets in her direction she would immediately turn down another street and then accelerated, making another couple of turns through alleys or side streets till she was satisfied, holding off on her bun until she was a satisfactory distance. A couple of cross sections later and she would find herself in the shopping streets again, knowing where she was going to arrive before she got there. The tightening in her chest and singular butterfly in her stomach faded as she saw no KASA agents and knew she hadn’t been followed, wiping her brow in relief and taking a bite of her sweet red bun.

Xochitl strolled down the streets and paused at the occasional stall to window shop out of pure curiosity, normally asking questions silently by looking at something intently, then stare at the store/stall vendor with a half passive, quizzical expression. This would normally succeed in getting their attention and an explanation of the item or items and she might find out what she wanted to know, on rarer occasion she would point or peer at the object again and then back to the person which usually worked and rarer yet pose a verbal question. In between the window shopping of Xochitl she would purchase supplies, some vegetable and other foods, some cutlery and containers, some fabrics and sewing supplies, a blanket and other things she needed and a small number of things she simply wanted or one might call a treat/unnecessary. She also left the market with a name that she didn’t recognize that had been spoken so many times this day, the name “Satoshi!” This new name made her uncomfortable for some reason, causing her to get the sensation things weren’t going to go back to normal and this fellow had something to do with it. She would appear to have to reconsider how she conducted herself and the amount of time she was exposed….. Xochitl would definitely study up on these new changes and figure the cause and plan how she would approach from there.

It had been a few days since her encounter with the ambushing children, her minor wound already healed over but her vigilance permanently increased. She had selected an alternative route of passage from which to enter and exit her domain, with the intent to cycle through a few for additional personal security. The rain today was being deflected by the parasol she carried with her, not abashed to being drenched but still enjoying the fact she was remaining mostly dry. The umbrella didn’t just protect her from the unending downpour, it gave her added security in the fact that it housed a weapon, a similar but slightly less advanced version of the one the respirator people carried. She had actually acquired herself some additional funds and was as such, trying to find a way to get some enjoyment out of them… the kind of enjoyment an entity somewhere in its teenage stage of development would appreciate. Other cravings like for knowledge and to experience more than her self created home in the deep of the village, even if she liked it and it provided her everything she needed, comfortably….. it lacked things she might want and people.

She did very much want to be social despite her immense paranoia of people, this still led her into risk taking behaviour like she was now. One thing she got away with was that people generally assumed her to be from the earth sector, protecting her from a deal of discrimination and reducing potential problems. She even was passively picking up on mimicking some of the other peoples behaviour or more so their words, in the sense she often mirrored comments they made about Satoshi, though wasn’t one to assert such words when lacking a prompt. Adapted enough she was by now to socially interact, even if she would benefit from more information and practice to manage a superior and more convincing cover. With a pep in her step the young lass skipped along the streets, acknowledging people who acknowledged her with a wave of her hand or a short verbal response, staying pleasant even in the face of people not so fond of her presence.

Finally she would come to a sudden stop having reached her destination, turning toward the entrance of the quiet little restaurant she had taken a liking too based on appearance alone. Xochitl turned her back to the doorway as she entered to fold and shake off her parasol before turning into the building, met be the warm air and smells of food being cooked, combine with the small murmur of a few customers talking amongst themselves. She would select a seat at a distance, one near a window in one of the rooms the corners so she might put her back to the corner and be able to see the rest of the approach angles, then have easy access to the window that she was just out of line of sight from those looking in. She was very fond of this sort of atmosphere, it was inviting and warm, more secure feeling in some ways than where she actually lived, though in actuality this location was multitudes more dangerous for her. Waiting politely to be served the girls would probe the rooms guests with her off looking eyes, ears listening to their conversations and mind attempting to figure out what use might be made out of the subject matter. After a couple of minutes a server approached her after dropping off an order, the older woman polite and welcoming of Xochitl with a tone one might offer their own granddaughter. “Welcome young miss, normally teenagers like you wouldn’t be to fond of eating in a small place like this, we serve more traditional food here, so I can’t offer you any of that foreign or new fangled stuff these newer places are offering, though we do have those fizzy drinks if you would like.” The woman’s demeanour was almost concerned seeming, questioning if Xochitl would want to eat here and being very polite and open about the fact, the lava squid not turned off in the least.

Xochitl would give a small nod and express quietly “I do not mind, I have wanted to come here for a while, I’m not picky and do prefer eating out alone. Can I please have the house special, or whatever you would suggest if there isn’t one, I have no allergies to worry about either….. and yes, I’d like a.. Fiz…zee drink thank you.” Her tone was somewhere between distant and invested, a tilt of the head when she reached talking about soda, as she had never had a “fizzy drink” before and her curiosity was peaked. The old lady gave pause and questioned if Xochitl was certain, to which she agreed with immediately and without any hesitation at all, the old woman offering a nod and a warm smile before turning away and going off to prepare her food.

Living in a house was…. It was dry. It was nice enough, the young Uchiha supposed. She finally had her own room, instead of sharing with her family. Tanabe thought back to merely a month ago, when her and her family were huddled for warmth in the streets of Ame. It was a blessing that they didn’t catch a cold. But was the new space worth all of the blood Tanabe had spilled? The girl flung her brush against the canvas, another stroke of ink on the painting meant to distract her. Tanabe looked at her creation and then sighed. She had the basics drafted, but when it came to a subject the girl had nothing. Zero inspiration. She looked outside to the familiar downpour of rain, hoping to get something.

But all Tanabe ended with was an urge for fresh air. So she went outside, to wander around aimlessly until she could find a snack stand.

"A month of nothing, ah well." Words escaped the young boy who wandered through the earth sector. Through the never ending rain, though he wore a special coat just for this weather anyways. He honestly didn't like the Earth Sector all that much. The sky sector was practically all indoors, so the constant rain didn't bother him up there, and the Cistern Sector was far enough down that the only rain it really got was whatever the Earth Sector didn't 'protect' it from. It was ironic how the middle class had to deal with the weather the most while the lower class didn't have to deal with it much. That being said, they had plenty more things to deal with anyways. The young shinobi shook his head. In the past month he'd only been to the Earth Sector for short moments of time, he lived in the Sky Sector and most of the things he did in his free time was done in Cistern. He figured he would wander around and see what he would come across.

As he walked, even through the rain he could smell something. Part of it was just having a slightly better than average sense of smell, although not as good as his sense of hearing, benefits to being blind he supposed. He would find himself heading in the direction of the smell. Making his way through a curtain, and once he did he was graced with the smells of various breaks, sweets, and the like. "A bakery, smells a lot better than anything in the Cistern Sector." He muttered to himself, coming in to the shop. Greeted by the man running the small bakery. "Aye, can I have uhm whatever it is that smells like butterscotch and cinnamon?" To which the owner disappeared into the back of the small shop.

Coming from the lower class of the village, it was always so interesting to see what life was like up here. The rain, although a bit cumbersome at times, had already made her trips up here all the better. It also helped when you had a sentient umbrella as well to spice things up! Amaya walked through the puddle ridden streets with all of that ryo burning a hole in her pocket. She had wanted to give some of it back to her family so they could use it properly but her parents were very against taking what she made herself. In the end, the Genin could only hold onto it for so long before it came time to blow it all on food for Yaggy and his rapid bouts of hunger. One such time was now, as the girl would be walking through the rain holding her trusty friend overhead before a delicious scent came from the buildings nearby. She would have turned around and prayed Yaggy had not have gotten a whiff of that before the haunted umbrella unrolled its tongue and began salivating on the ground below. His giant tongue slapped Amaya in the face as she would wipe the slobber from her hair. "C'mon, Yaggy! It's almost lunch time! Can't you hold your stomachs for a little bit longer?" The umbrella made all sorts of sounds. Some whimpers, some more ferocious and other...beyond human comprehension. Still, Amaya would scoff at the response given, as if she were a pet owner scolding a dog. Maybe one would have been easier to care for.

"Fine. I'll get you a snack, but I'm not spending all of it again." Amaya began to follow the scent across the streets while her new rain boots would splash in the rain. Yaggy's tongue lagged behind her as she hummed to herself and splashed in every puddle or mass of water she came across. It didn't take long before the two came across the a bakery. Amaya's nose confirmed that this was the place. The air reeked of every sort of a smell that a pastry filled building would contain. If she didn't have Yaggy in her hands, he probably would have frown inside to devour everything. So she continued inside as the door opened and folded up Yaggy. His massive tongue would roll back inside of its mouth while she brought it inside. Amaya looked about while spotting another girl inside. Her hair was long and her eyes were pretty cool. "Heya!" she called, walking up to her while keeping a hold of her massive umbrella. "You're cute! I love your hair! Mine's all short and won't grow, but yours is perfect!" Amaya seemed truthful in her approach, if not a bit daft to notice or hear that the person standing across from her was a boy. But she was just sort of naturally hard at picking things up.

"Anybody working here? I need treats and a whole lotta them!~"

She spent her time enjoying the meal and reading a book she had purchased recently, finding a lot of her spare time reading as she didn’t spend it with anyone. The Romance novel made little sense to her as she read through it, though she found it interesting that the heroine was going through so much just to save and be with the one she loved, Xochitl wondering what love was like, seeming to be something more than happiness or friendship. The meal was very enjoyable and incomparable to the things she made herself down in her deep home, the sushi dish surprising her with each new or different flavour, ingredients or design. She made some slightly odd faces as these new flavours and textures tickled her tongue and stimulated the taste buds with each new one discovered, it was all in all absolutely amazing! With these facts it would be suffice to say that Xochitl was very happy and having a grand ol time despite how quiet and to herself she had been during her time there.

Finally after about an hour Xochitl would pay her bill and words of praise and thanks to the old lady who ran the place, offering a little bow to the woman that she observed many people give one another, taking her leave out of the cozy place into the cool downpour. She would continue her way looking around for fun things to do, she hadn’t spent all of her extra ryo and was feeling rather comfortable and secure at the moment, wandering about semi-aimlessly with not particular agenda in mind. Her journey would continue uninterrupted for a while until a strange array of noises assaulted her ears. Her movements stopped as soon as she heard the weird noises, turning her head slowly and attempting to focus on the direction of the sounds origin, only to be met by possibly one of the most strange sights she laid her eyes upon. A small girl with blue hair was carrying a massive Parasol-like thing in her hands, one which moved and expressed itself in a way that proved it to be undoubtedly alive…. and agitated or something. Blinking her eyes as she turned her body round to face the same direction she looked, now paying attention to the strange duo as the lass carrying it and responding to its garbled noises. X couldn’t help herself but slink closer till the she could hear what this was all about, the thing allowing a huge long tongue to dangle and salivating unreasonable quantities in visible hunger and greed. How it was this tiny little girl was preventing it from charging off on its own was a wonder to the squidgirl, though it seemed she’d be placating it which might have played into this and with snacks no less, something she personally believed would involve sweets or something delicious considering the Yokais excitement.

The idea of sweets were a novel addition to her already special day and if she was being honest, she wanted whatever it was the thing wanted and so she followed the Amaya and Yaggy through the crowd of people, eyes fixed on the pair so she didn’t loose them. With this combination of brisk pace, near tunnel vision and a mind off trying to imagine whatever it was she’d be getting to try soon, not paying full attention to her surroundings as she went. Xochitl did not notice Tanabe and the fact their paths of movement were about to intersect, bumping into the young shinobi hard enough to straggler back and almost loose her balance. ”Oomph!” She squeaked in her soft voice and extended her hands open palm in front of herself to show she meant no harm, a look of surprise and a little confusion on her face having not expected this and not wanting to trouble the other person. She would quickly bow her head and in a slightly concerned tone said with fluster ”I am sorry….uhm, wasn’t paying attention…. weird thing wants snacks…, so excited I must try them too, really sorry but I must go!” She pointed as she spoke while looking at Tanabe with her wide, quizzical, gentle and distant eyes before turning to look where she pointed at the weird Parasol creature sticking up in the crowd a good distance away. Xochitl had begun to walk away after them despite looking back a couple of times as if she was uncertain and didn’t want to leave it at that, yet she still went and followed the other two to the bakery they chose to head into at a brisk pace.

Slinking in a dozen or so seconds after Amaya, first poking in her head and sniffing the air to take in the lovely aroma, looking around immediately after and feeling like she was in no actual danger, entered entirely. She hovered behind the two prior customers, a young girl with blonde hair and pale eyes, as well as the small blue haired one and her thingy, Xochitl watching it with distinct curiosity. If at any point it’s weird eye might turn enough to notice her, Xochitl would raise a hand with a combination of both hesitance and confidence, giving it a friendly enough wave combine with her inspecting gaze. When an employee appeared at the window and took Amaya’s order, Xochitl would offer when she wanted which was simply ”One of each thing she is having please, I cannot afford a lot.” The tone matter of fact, gentle and polite enough for a person who’s expression made them look like they were far off and mot entirely present, Xochitl not really noticing the regarding look the man gave her or considering the fact he asked her to pay upfront, unlike the others present as Xochitl would be considered of the cistern sector caste.

Tanabe was lost in her own thoughts, herself, and didn’t notice someone bumping into her until it was too late. She grunted as the impact knocked her down into the rain covered sidewalk. The water was something the girl was used to. The pain, however, was not. She rubbed the soreness from her tailbone with a wince before she looked up. The girl that bumped her over apologized and helped her up. Tanabe gave a quiet thanks and shuffled into the bakery.

It was busy today, busier than usual. The strange girl that knocked the Uchiha over was there. And a girl… or boy… with long hair. She couldn’t tell. And another girl with a drooling umbrella. Tanabe was almost certain that umbrellas shouldn’t do that, but what did she know. It was none of her business. Instead the girl sat down and set up a piece of paper before she even thought about getting in line. It was too long, and her legs were already tired. So instead the girl pulled out her calligraphy set and set ink to paper. The young girl didn’t get far in her piece, just a few strokes, before something caught her attention.

The girl she’d met outside, Tanabe managed to overhear what she was saying. The girl got up silently and took her place at the elbow of the employee. “Excuse me,” she said, just loud enough to announce her presence. “I’d like to pay for her order, please.” Tanabe didn’t give any real explanation aloud. But she remembered what it was like to be flat broke. The Uchiha girl didn’t mind paying for the stranger’s ticket, but she was a little bummed that she couldn’t afford her own snacks.

Once the employee walked away with the orders, Tananbe turned her attention to the pair. “I,uhm. I like your umbrella…” She managed to stutter to Amaya. “What are your names?”

More people started to make their way into the bakery he had found. The young boy didn't really mind it, however they seemed a bit more lively than the mostly mindless civilians of the city. Probably meant they were all shinobi, especially considering he highly doubted any non-shinobi from the Sky Sector would even step foot down here. Of course, though one of the girls who had shown up began to comment on his appearance. Obviously mistaking him for a girl from the comparison. Something he was never very fond of, but happened quite often due to his hair. However the girl who spoke to him, he recognized the cadence of her chakra...or how she sounded or something along those lines. Which made even more sense for the mysterious umbrella that was clearly living. She was at the exams, the one that had to kill her brother. Yoshiyuki figured at the very least she meant no real harm by the mistake. One mistake was fine, he could always just ignore it and ignore her.

Of course, another mistake though. That was pushing it. Even if it wasn't directed towards him, he surely thought it was. Another who walked in seemingly also mistook him for a girl. Another girl had also come in, and judging from the actions he could hear going on they seemed to treat her as if she were from the Cistern. However that was odd. Obviously he couldn't tell how she looked exactly...but... The boy would turn, and face the other three. His head moving as if he were looking at them although he was quite obviously not. "Maybe, your dumb umbrella eats your hair in your sleep and that's why it won't grow." Yoshiyuki said to the girl. He would then face the other two. "If she doesn't have the money for it she should order less, or come up with another way to get what she wants." Yoshiyuki said rather annoyed already for the most part. "Besides, you don't sound like anyone I've heard in the Cistern Sector." Yoshiyuki said to the girl who seemed to not have the money to pay for what she requested.

Amaya would be taken by surprise as the two newcomers would shuffle inside. The first of which was...weird. The good kind of weird that Amaya liked. Not fitting in with most other people in Amegakure was always a good way to win her over. Plus he, she, it, whatever had black sclera! Anybody who had that was cool in the child's book. But from her order, she seemed kind of poor to not be able to afford things. Amaya could relate, having come from the lower sectors of the village. Though the timely intervention of the other girl inside with a brush, Amaya was glad at least the weird thing could get food. Her attention turned to the long haired person she had spoken to, who had now revealed himself as a boy as Amaya looked a bit surprised by his rebuttal. "M-Maybe?" she asked, while her "big dumb umbrella" would speak again. This time, a short, chilling series of grunts and muffled noises. Like somebody speaking with their tongue out. "☂☛ಙಙ⚚☠" Amaya frowned, gently whapping the top of his folded body with her hand, akin to an owner punishing a puppy for breaking a rule. "Be nice, Yaggy. He was just joking. You and you soul eating thing again. I told you I'd get you some later." Amaya rolled her eyes, the umbrella grumbling, sticking its tongue out either at Amaya or the blind boy. Whichever one would wish to say it was. "I could never be cute like you though!~"

Just then, the other girl spoke up in a timid fashion, with Amaya spinning on her feel to face her. "Oh, thank you! He's just very protective is all. I love your clothing! It's all...flowery and cute. I'm Amaya, by the way." she motioned to the rolled up yokai resting in her hand, whose tongue was attempting to sneak over the counter and sample some of what was behind the glass. "This is Yaggy. Don't worry, he won't bite or anything. Unless he's hungry. It's nice to meet you guys. Even you, cute boy who I don't know yet!~"

Xochitl was busy counting out her coins as the Uchiha girl she had bumped into came forth and kindly chose to pay for her snacks, though she still could have afforded a little. Still the squid girl wasn’t one to refuse charity of any sort, as any form of charity assisted and improved her own life and survival chances, which was always her personal priority. This whole thing distracted herself from the intriguing umbrella and onto Tanabe with the intention to thank her and offer to share with them, until the long haired boy made a comment toward her. Xochitl looked to Tanabe, then to Yoshiyuki, to Amaya and Yaggy and then back to the boy, tilting her head and waiting for Amaya to answer Tanabe’s question to avoid talking over either of them out of her patient nature.

When the opportunity arose she opened her mouth to respond, her voice level and showing she was completely unbothered by what he said. ”I am able to afford some, it’s why I asked for less than the girl buying for the greedy umbrella.” She stated in her passively matter of fact tone, her wide eyes blinking as she looked into his own sightless ones, pointing with a finger toward Yaggy and Amaya as if this needed clarification. She did this with the knowledge her was likely blind but also that he was spatially aware to the point it didn’t seem to inhibit him. ”I can also assure you that I am a resident of the lowest part of the village and understand my place in Lord Satoshi’s kingdom. As we have not met before, it is nice to meet you!” The caution placed in what she said was not betrayed in any sense in her tone, only a few choice words used for safety and establishing herself as somewhat like the rest of the masses. Her mind didn’t linger on this as she had heard Amaya speaking of the Umbrella being safe and she wanted to communicate with the one in the nice sleeves, who covered her bill.

Stepping over two wide paces to reach Tanabe’s side and carefully reaching out a hand to gently tug the others sleeve to squire their attention. ”I very much appreciate you covering for my bill, although I did notice you made no order for yourself, maybe you would let me share with you so you aren’t missing out because of me?” The question came off like a statement based on a combination of what she said, her tone and inflections. Tanabe would find Xochitl holding unflinching eye contact as she spoke, likely a little to close or within the other girls personal bubble with zero awareness of such a fact. It was then she looked over to Yoshiyuki and then Amaya and Yaggy, offering up a piece of information she had neglected to up until this point in a slightly more uncertain or nervous method, much like someone not used to this sort of thing. ”Me, ah! I mean I, M..My name is Xochitl(So-cheel), could we all eat together perhaps?” Despite the obvious uncertainty within her gentle tone, there was a hint of excitement due to there being several positive and stimulating aspects in a single location, with people who would appear to be close to how old she appeared. Her large black and white eyes blared down with her penetrating and wide stare, looking strangely hopeful despite her incredibly unreadable expression.

Tanabe gasped at the sudden questioning from Xochitl and looked away brusquely. “Well, you said ‘one of everything’ and then said you didn’t have much money, so I wanted to h-help you out.” The Uchiha stammered. She hoped that would be a sufficient enough answer for the stranger. At least until the other two piped up with their own responses. The girl, Amaya, with the umbrella, Yaggy, seemed nice, if fairly energetic. However, a jarring contrast to Amaya’s personality was the one of the blind boy. A tone harsher than sandpaper, he was none too happy about Tanabe helping out Xochitl. Or… anything else for that matter.

“If I can, why shouldn’t I help her out?” She muttered, picking at the sleeves of her outfit without meeting the boy’s eyes. She doubted she’d get a response, but it didn’t really matter to her as much. “Oh, uh, my name’s Tanabe. I-it’s, uh, my p-pleasure to meet you.” Her face flushed as she bowed to the three of them. “If you’d like to eat together, I set up over at that table over there…”

A bit less bothered after a while, Yoshiyuki would face Amaya for a moment. "Thanks for your compliment, but I'm not really concerned much for how cute I or others are. For obviously reasons." He said to the girl, probably to make her feel bad, but he had a bit of a gut feeling that it probably wouldn't work. She girl seemed to clarify that she was indeed from the lowest and knew he place, however that in itself didn't make much sense to him. "Then why are you on this sector?" He questioned her, an expression expanding across his face that clearly showed that of someone who was looking down upon another. Maybe not in disgust in particular but definitely as if to demean her. The others girl that spoke questioning why she shouldn't help, clearly not expecting an answer...maybe not even expecting him to hear her. However his response would come quickly to her as well. "Are you going to offer to anyone from the cistern who shows up? Can you even? I'm from the cistern myself. Will you also pay for me? I talk to about 15 other kids who are also hungry, will you pay for them?" He asked her, facing her in particular at this point. "If she can't pay, she should be left to figure it out on her own. Just like everyone else is."

Whatever they were, the soft spoken girl was more charitable to the squid girl. It made the umbrella wielding girl happy to see such acts being passed onto the less fortunate of the village. As one of the after mentioned poor kids of Amegakure, it was nice seeing another person who had some amount of good in them. Amaya did remain quiet, even smiling a little at Yoshiyuki accepting the compliment and waited ever so patiently for Yaggy's snacks. The strange woman would introduce herself as Xo...Xoltol? "That name's too weird. I don't even know how to pronounce that. So I'll call you...Uh, how about...Sochi? Yeah, that's perfect!" The girl gave a more than proud look as Yaggy's tongue trailed behind the counter and began to eat what he could sneak onto his tongue before recoiling it back into his mouth and quickly swallowing a batch of cupcakes and cookies. Her attention focused on Tanabe inviting them to dine together as she then would nod her head along at a rapid pace. "Sure! It'd be cool to sit with everyone!~ If you want, we can go play afterward if you want. I know a great spot by the docks~"

”Well I find it very meaningful that you would chose to help me, Tanabe is very kind! I bought a fizzy drink at another store I can share with you.” Xochitl expressed with her big eyes holding a strangely innocent appreciation for all the strangeness to there features. Again Xochitl wasn’t beyond benefiting from handouts or an act of kindness directed her way, she always appreciated things being made easier, though with these people who were at least similar in age to her appearance there was a stronger sense than usual. A bubble of excitement she wasn’t very familiar with forming inside her chest almost like welling anxiety but not uncomfortable, unconsciously rocking on her heels lightly in excitement. This sensation was not deterred by Yoshiyuki for Xochitl was not unused to being looked down, applying additional caution to said people but not emotionally affected.

Turning her attention back to him to address what he said, her demeanour hinting that she didn’t acknowledge his attitude toward her. ”I am treating myself as I do every few weeks, I save up change from when buying supplies, after I while I surface and come up here to find things to spend it on and enjoy. I was excited and overextended my finances here, I won’t make the same mistake again.” She expressed while not even bothering to explain that most of her money was earned in earth sector, not wanting to reveal much information to do with her routine. Listening to his next words toward Tanabe did cause the pale girl to fidget and contemplate the idea that she might have caused an actual problem here, a frown of concern crossing her features for a second.

”If need be I can return the funds at a later point or do a task to resolve any monetary loss.” Xochitl would interject in hopes this would resolve any issue that might have been caused, concerned this sort of thing was a bigger deal that she had originally considered. The smallest of the lot with her greedy umbrella seemed to have difficultly with the squids name and decided to dub her a shortened version with a little difference to pronunciation. Big eyes now focused on Amaya it would be obvious that the wheels of thought were in motion, Xochitl comparing her name and this nickname and deciding they were close enough. Tanabe suggested they all eat together which Xochitl had no issues with, she did want to share with the other and felt drawn to the idea and showed it. Her head nodding a few times before opening her mouth and stating ”I would also like to eat together and I don’t mind if you call me Sochi. I would like joining you and Yaggy and have the chance to try playing afterwards… and with the others if they chose to also come.”

Her answer driven by curiosity and interest in the other subjects present with her, wondering how it would compare to how she and her siblings “played.” Wondering if it would be like when she saw children chasing one another, throwing or kicking a ball between one another and wondering if she would hold the same expression she saw upon their faces in those moments. She turned to the counter and moved into grabbing her pastries before the greedy umbrella might take them, piling them onto a tray and carrying it over toward the tables Tanabe had set up, making sure to avoid placing it on the paper the other had set up. From the shoulder bad she carried Xochitl would pull out the bottle of blue coloured pop and put it beside the tray, looking at the white sheet with interest ”What are you going to do with this?” She asked while pointing down at the sheet, curious from having observed pictures through windows and inside buildings, often finding such artistic displays pretty and intriguing, her mind pondering if Tanabe was going to draw/paint something on it in front of her. The light green tail like appendage that came from the small of her back would extend and reach onto the floor beneath her, looping round to create a spiral before Xochitl tensed it and lighted both of her feet off the ground, balancing on the tendril and crossing her legs, reaching a hand out to start separating the purchased snacks into two respective piles for both she and Tanabe.
