After getting the Arashikage's approval, Takao reaches out to fresh blood - two that have kudos on their record for assisting with an APD arrest despite their rookie ranks. Good, honest kids, eh?
"Ey, I appreciate ya meeting with me. Listen, you know how oni and kemono shinzo and human relations have been kind of weird since that stuff with Zaishin? We've got word that there's a group of Oni brewsters who are creating anesthetics with their brews, allowing them to drug people for... well, we believe it's human trafficking.
"I trust you three with this task because you're too new to really be under the corruptions' thumbs, ya know, but you both have it on-record that you got your heads on straight. I need you to knock some heads together at their bar. But be careful in your approach, cause they don't really trust folks that ain't got horns on their heads. You also gotta secure some of that special brew of theirs so we can train our sensors on its signature and work on a counteractive agent or whatever. Got that?"
Details: Human trafficking in both villages is being enabled by a special knockout brew that sources say are coming from the Impish Delight Bar. Go knock some Oni heads around to teach them a lesson and keep them from travelling to Konoha to alert their sister bars. Make sure you secure a sample of their knockout brew, too.
Setsuka reported in to the handler for the mission and brought Kiryuu in tow. The Scorch-Inuzuka duo were clearly ready for work as the pair of them bore a serious expression. There was no smiles, no cocky grins. They were here to impress and earn their way into their future career. This was going to be their life, and it was how they planned to bring honor and reverence to her bloodline and her clan's taming abilities. As the red haired girl waited for the other two of 'Team Extreme' to get a handle on the mission objectives, she began to come up with a possible plan. Tactics were kind of a specialty of hers since she was used to working in teams, or at least with Kiryuu.
"So we're gonna wanna go in sort of incognito... Who's not the best at putting on an act with a Henge technique?", she asked the other two. It was clear by her confidence that she was certain she could pull it off, but her problem was Kiryuu, who would have to float around as a ball of hot flames, which was sure to draw more attention than needed. "From a logistics standpoint, you probably want Kiryuu and I to sniff out any potential escape routes in case you two go in swinging and somebody tries to slip off.", she suggested before waiting for the other two to come up with some potential input of their own.
Elroe was still pretty blankly staring as normal as they were briefed on their mission. Then it wasn't much longer after that Setsuka had brought up an idea. Going undercover finding the escape routes. Although Elroe himself wasn't sure why they needed to do that in the first place. Thinking about it for a moment and going over the details of the mission in his head he figured it out for himself. "Ah," He said monotonously looking at Setsuka for a moment. However he would shake his head to answer her question. "If you feel you need to or can henge and put on an act that can get you in safely then feel free." He said to her, thinking for a moment about the situation before them as well. "I don't have an alternative option in mind, but I don't really like this plan particularly." He added visibly thinking but his expression only really superficially changing to denote that. "Like...if you try to act as if you were an Oni, they're traffickers it's still possible they will just drug you and try to put you along with the others they're going to move." Elroe continued as he looked at Kiryuu and Setsuka. "We also need a good signal regardless...I know some Tamers can summon their partners from anywhere are you able to do that?"

By the time Kohaku had arrived, the other two were already present. He may have been a minute or ten late to the meet up, but hey, he was here now. With a coffee at hand, Kohaku’s lips curled back to bare a toothy grimace. “s**t. Sorry. Lost track of time,” he said as he stood next to the others as they awaited instruction.
What a great way to kick off his potential Special Ops career.
Though he didn’t want to admit it, Kohaku was a little nervous, and the caffeine now rattling around in his skull didn’t help to put him at ease. Despite the initial devil may care attitude he felt towards the mission, his demeanor became steelier at the mention of human trafficking—it wasn’t like he was expecting them to be catching butterflies, but damn.
After the two began to plan their course of action, Kohaku chimed in, “I mean, I’d be down for that, if you think it’d work,” he said, looking to Setsuka, “especially considering the whole beef going on between humans, kemono shinzo, and oni. If we don’t wanna make a scene between the three of us, it might be best if a few of us remain disguised or unseen.”
Kohaku took a sip of his coffee. “Personally, all I really got to offer is lookout. I can make sure no one’s gonna sneak up on us, or how many people we gotta contest with. Nothing the ol’ Hotdog probably can’t do as well, though,” he said with a shrug, “but if you need me to stick on some horns and blend in, I ain’t against it.”
Setsuka seemed to take Elroe's words into consideration. He was correct in the fact that her plan could backfire, but they also did not have an idea of the location they'd be working with. The only way for them to effectively plan beyond the initial contingency was to actually get on site and case the place they would be dealing with. "Let's get moving and we will get set up, if anything Kiryuu can get us close without getting too close with his sense of smell.", she offered, before turning to the Village gates and moving outside of them. The other two would be free to follow along, though she seemed content to let Elroe take the lead as the squad leader for the mission.

As Setsuka and Kiryuu traveled, the pair kept to the trees and brushes, moving through them stealthily and staying off the open roads in case of look outs or scouts of their own. They did not want to attract attention, and a Storm Ninja with a flaming wolf would likely set off alarms in their targets. As they approached the location of the bar, though, Setsuka and Kiryuu took a low position in the brush nearby so they could peer and spy in on the Oni coming and goings. Any information, no matter how trivial, about their targets was going to be an asset. Any crime fighting police officer or detective knew as much.
Elroe's words were heard and acknowledged, however he had questions that had remained unanswered. He would choose to simply not bring them back up again. It was fine in the long run. Kohaku also seemed to agree to trying to pretend to be an Oni which worked as well. Elroe didn't mind the mission plans at whole, and he knew himself to be able to get into the place on quick notice if he really needed to. So his plans were to simply allow Setsuka and Kohaku do as they wished until he was truly needed. That being said Elroe would simply head out to the location, although he himself would remain mostly hidden if not completely hidden. He had no reason to show himself yet, he would wait on Kohaku and Setsuka to do as they needed and get what they needed.

The group's trek to the site wasn't particularly memorable. Travelling a short, yet inconspicuous distance behind Setsuka, Kohaku let her and Kiryuu act as a guide. As they continued, he periodically sent out weak pulses of electricity to gage his surroundings, detecting how many people may be skulking nearby. As they neared the bar, Kohaku began to pick up on the presence of those coming and going from their target location.
Approaching Setsuka and Kiryuu, Kohaku laid low as well, concealed by the brush from any passersby's view. Though he had felt relatively calm throughout their travel, Kohaku inhaled sharply as his heart began to race, in what was undecidedly excitement or anxiety. Maybe both.
"Feels like it could be a full house," he said in a low whisper, "we layin' low for now, or you wanna head in?" That was, after they'd donned their disguises, of course.

The Oni bar looked like nothing special on the outside, though the windows were gaudy and yellow-tinted with mosiac-esque etchings. Through the distortion of the glass, perhaps one of the shinobi would be able to see that the bar was packed to the gills. There were lots of partying oni.
The uproar from inside spilled to the outdoors when the door opened for some human-looking guy dressed up in a hoodie and jeans but, upon knocking on the door, his body underwent a transformation, revealing an oni with jonin combat gear. As he entered the door, already greeting whoever opened it for him jovially, the shinobi hiding out would be able to see that the headband on his arm bore a Konoha symbol.
If the door was being monitored, there was potentially a sensor handling entrance. However, it could also just be like that until the visitor dropped their human appearance to become an oni. It was unclear how close-knit the community was and if they'd notice any strangers. Perhaps a more direct approach was necessary.
(Note: sensory information through enhanced senses will be muddled, though it will be easy enough to smell that there is a lot of oni-type alcohol brewing inside. Formal sensory techniques will reveal that there are thirty guys inside with varying levels of strength, the highest being S+.)
The possibility of Setsuka's initial plan did not seem to be falling in line as she observed the entry of an Oni. Performing some form of illusion to deceive the doorman in reverse was not likely, not with her skill level at least. "So the plan of waltzing through the front door, and mingling in, getting the goods and getting out does not seem to be in the cards. We were told to knock some heads around, but with the sheer number, it would be better to funnel them out. So if we can, Elroe-san could station themselves to handle those who try to flee out the front while the element of surprise...Kohaku, Kiryuu, and myself secure the goods, and start the ruckus from the back...Pincer Formation style.", she muttered in a tone that betrayed her irritation with her ideas and planning being thwarted. "However, I have a contingency plan. Instead of the front door, we look for a back door, possibly a cellar entrance. Places like these usually always have a back-way out, either for loading cargo or for seedier reasons. Though if anyone has a better idea, I'm game for it.", she confidently explained to the two boys with her. Her study of the criminal mind had not come without some observance of the activities of the underworld of Arashi. Kiryuu simply remained silent and awaited orders.
Setsuka, after explaining her plan, placed her hands together and formed a tiger seal, before using Kiryuu's ability to turn into Scorch Chakra. The wolf then formed into a small ball of the super hot chakra, which then moved around through the trees. She would let the wolf get a view of the backside of the place to try and find an alternative entrance, like the one the tamer-nin had explained about in her contingency plan. After letting Kiryuu scout around, she would recall him with the same ability to manipulate scorch chakra that she had used to move him around. "See anything, boy?", she asked the Hell Hound as he reformed into his normal shape.
Elroe had already given his input on the situation and claimed to do whatever the others also agreed on. Or at the very least not disturb the situation at hand involving them and whatever they choose to do. Small scene happening at the front door didn't change much in the ways of how he felt about the situation either. Setsuka seemed to have a plan and Elroe intended to not disrupt it. Instead he simply nodded to her, then would...well disappear it seemed. It was almost like he wasn't even there in the first place. However he would keep watch for what was going on and what the other two choose to do and how they progressed. Intent on coming out whence they were finished with their recon and potential infiltration.

Kohaku clicked his tongue. "s**t, you're right," he said, slight disappointment weighing in his tone. Despite the setback, Setsuka's plan was solid and Kohaku was ready to give it a shot. "I ain't never seen a place like this with no back door. It'd be ********' weird if it didn't," and honestly, he wasn't sure if that would be even shadier than the existence of some secret underground entrance, "might even be more than one. Could have a normal back door for staff, and another for more... inconspicuous access."
"If that's the case, our best bet would be the cellar. Back door's bound to have a little more traffic, but still, I ain't saying the cellar's not gonna be guarded, either." Kohaku said, then looked to Kiryuu as he returned, "what'cha find, pup?"

As the hound approached the back of the building, some wasted Oni was thrown from the back door, landing several meters away on his face. "And stay out!" The bouncer said to him. Before the bouncer could get the backdoor closed again, a voice from behind him cried out, "Stupid half-breed!" The door finally shut, and all noise from inside dissipated as if it hadn't existed at all.
The Oni rose to his feet slowly, staggering uneasily. He looked like he hadn't found his sea legs yet, wobbling back and forth as he took uneven steps forward. He rubbed at his face and groaned in pain, but nothing else seemed amiss.

Setsuka was not surprised by Elroe's initiative to fade from view. He seemed like the type to usually do as he pleased with little words exchanged. 'Probably the strong and silent type...Oh well.', she thought to herself before motioning to the back of the tavern. The guy who got bounced out the back seemed to be stumbling off on his way. From the words spoken, she assumed that he was probably as welcome as they were to the establishment. Still, she motioned for Kohaku to follow along as Kiryuu lead the way back to the edge of the establishment. All the while she kept careful not to make any unwanted sounds that might alert the drunken ejected as he stumbled away to their presence.
Upon getting to the side of the bar and ducking down into the shadows near the corner of the rear entrance, Setsuka and Kiryuu prepared for the next phase of the plan, infiltration. It would have to go quick, fast, and hard in order to get the drop and secure the important sample of the brew they were sent to acquire. 'Right, no talking, so...', she thought as she waited for Kohaku to catch up to her location with Kiryuu, though she assumed he was not far behind. The tamer then took her finger and drew out a rudimentary plan in the earth for Kohaku to get a look at. It was a sketch of a female stick-figure, a dog stick-figure, and a male stick figure. The sketch showed Setsuka kicking in the door, so to speak, and Kiryuu with Kohaku trying to locate the brew, which would likely be kept in the back end they were breaking into. As the sketching went on, Setsuka drew a picture of the female stick figure starting a fire, meaning she meant to close off the escape through the back door, and scare people out the front right into Elroe's position... at least the stick figures would convey that, in the most novice way. She waited for a sign of acknowledgement from her human partner before making a move. This mission was about to kick off in a big way.

Setsuka's plan began without a hitch. The back door was easily shut off, and the Oni inside were completely unhappy about her method of choice. Goonspeak erupted in the room as many of the gangsters began cussing at her as they prepared some street-appropriate weapons: brass knuckles and knives. Three of them came right for her with chakra-imbued knives [ Unnamed Complex Attack | B Rank x3 ]. "Get the Honey out of here! We can't let 'em take it!" Honey? What the hell was that?
"Kill the ******** dog!" Someone screamed from deeper in the bar as they struggled to funnel out through the front of the bar. Another Oni had ninjutsu capabilities and shot a whirlwind ninjutsu at Setsuka's partner while the three gangsters attacked Setsuka head-on [ ▰ Violent Whirlwind [ Ressenpū ] | Rank B ].

If this stream of winds lands, in addition to dealing with it’s rank in damage the resulting attack is capable of lifting people or similarly-sized objects up into the air and preventing escape for single activation worth of time and allowing for a follow-up attack to find it’s mark. It is important to be noted that the opponent is by no means paralyzed and is capable of performing ninjutsu to defend themselves. As with most techniques, body flicker is also able to escape this technique.
Kicking in the door was the best way to get people all shook up, but it seemed like Setsuka had done a good job of kicking the hornet's nest. By doing so, she had riled the bees, as it were. "I'm no honey, boys...", she growled as she dodged the various brass knuckles and knives aimed at her. Their fighting technique was developed, but not refined. It was clear to even a Genin that they lacked the finesse required when dealing with somebody of her caliber. Though the fact they were chakra imbued made them slightly more complicated, it was nothing compared to one with a decent handle on their own reflexes."... I'm a big b***h! Fire Style : Fox Fire Jutsu!", she roared as the Tamer-nin slid backward. Then some fool decided to attack Kiryuu, and the incoming whirlwind was met with something far more violent as Setsuka made a few quick hand-signs and blew forth blazing hot chakra in the size of multi-spherical balls, that upon impacting with the whirlwind, would use it's energy to fan their flames, consuming it and causing them to burn even brighter as they would roar to impact with the jutsu caster, and the surrounding environment. This could get dangerous, as the arsenous designs that Setsuka had in mind for crashing the party were soon to be employed, especially if more flames were to be thrown around in such a fashion.
While Setsuka provided cover and distracted the majority of the Oni into attacking her, Kiryuu went to execute his part in the plan. The scorch-wolf sliding between attacks and using his ability to manipulate his size and shape with scorch chakra to quickly sniff about for the brew that they were to take and recover. He knew what normal sake' smelled like, as Setsuka was keen to imbibe from time to time, and the wolf was intelligent to know when something was made more like a poison and less like a food.
After sending the flames to devour the whirlwind aimed at her canine partner, Setsuka lowered into the All Fours stance of the Inuzuka. Her bestial stance gave her the appearance of a feral being as her hair seemed to stand on the edges and her fangs became more pronounced. With her fingernails sharpened too by her clan's technique, she then flew forward at one of the thugs wielding brass knuckles with speed and grace. The maneuver then turned into a rotation like attack as she became like a fierce tornado of claws and strikes that would likely tear the victim of her assault a literal new one. "Tsuga!", was the only discernable word from the howl of energy blasting forward.
