It had been a few days since Asa had left the Storm Village in search of his missing brethren. From his knowledge of their kidnapping they had been taken away via the sky which made tracking them down all the more difficult. It took a while and a bit of socialization. Of course when he said Socialization it was much more like speaking with wild cats across the areas around Arashi in order to get more information such as directions and other things like that. All evidence pointed him into the right direction obviously, then it was up to him to find the details. Everything basically said Wind Country, shouted it almost as where they ended up flying to. So that is exactly where Asa ended up, within the wind country. His search would become a lot different from this point. He didn't know much about deserts and desert like area so he was unsure if there were any felines that were native to the area he could easily get information from. He needed to be vigilant, he wasn't sure about the Jashinists in general, however the bit of research he did afterwards basically depicted them as bloodthirsty ritualistic murderers. People that killed for the purpose of appeasing their god and obtaining power from him. Of course he couldn't fault them for that, but if they killed his brothers and sister he would have a much bigger issue with them than he did before.

As he moved through the desert, he had visited a place to get information. It was fortunate that so many people seemed to have adapted to life within the deserts of wind country and made cities. He bought himself supplies, and went on his way. He had heard of a city that was rather jashin centric in their religious ways from locals. He wasn't sure if they were telling the truth or not but as it was the only lead he had he simply had to go with it. As he travelled though something else happened, something he never expected. A figure in the distance walking forwards, a shadow of a rather tall man. he thought perhaps they would be able to point him in the right direction. He moved closer though and his expression immediately changed. The cat man's face became one of alertness, eyes filled with the flames of rage. A man with no hair atop his head aside from what looked like a ponytail, however he knew better than to think it was a ponytail. They were more like elongated black dog ears tied back awkwardly. Almost as if to be intimidating. How could someone put themselves through such pain and still walk around perfectly fine. Like nothing was happening to them. Maybe it was a mirage, maybe it wasn't real. However all of those thoughts left the cat's mind when words came from the man's mouth. "I've found you....Filthy Cat."

The dark skinned bald looking man stood in front of the angry rage filled cat. There was no smile on his face, no change in expression. It was simple, determined, the face of someone who was ready to complete something they had started years ago. The face of someone who knew how this encounter was going to end. The man's ears were oddly placed upon his head which allowed him to tie them the way he did, he looked a lot more human than most Kemono Shinzo did, but he was definitely one none the less. He would watch as green chakra spheres would begin to float around the now alert cat. Anu's voice would boom from his mouth once more, speaking to the cat directly. "You seem to be alone, no where to hide, aren't you meant to be a clan of those who work alongside each other? Or perhaps you are merely scouting for them. Good Choice." He said, to which the cat would respond by spitting towards Anu. "I wouldn't tell you anything anyways, disgusting dog. I'll kill you here and be done with it. You don't have your army." He spoke, before rushing towards the larger man quickly. The spheres of chakra floating around him moving in such a way forwards as if to attack him. Anu would reach into his sleeve, a small scroll pulled out which would activate and a staff would appear from the scroll. The large man would swing his staff through the spheres of chakra and disperse them. As such happened the cat seemed to close the distance between them. However he would be met by the staff crashing into his person and sending him flying backwards into the sands. "Pitiable, are you fighting like that because of your anger? Your father put up more of a fight....so did your mother." He spoke to the cat, instigating more of the beastman's rage.

Rage filled the cat to the cap, then he would get up from the sand. Not taking the time to brush himself off. Chakra exploded from his person and he shouted. "You b*****d! I'll kill you!" Asa's voice resonated through the empty area as he rushed towards the large bald man. Anu's form didn't move, he stood there his staff didn't move he didn't flinch as he stayed in place. The cat's claw's out as he went to scratch into the man's chest. Intent on leaving gashes in the man's chest. However that was not what happened, Anu's body was conditioned for damage and this feeble attack did nothing to it. His armor like flesh simply not breaking like the cat expected. Scratches were still scratches but they were superficial at best. Anu's staff raised into the air and then would come down upon the right shoulder of the cat. Asa screamed in pain, crunching could be heard from the bones in his shoulder breaking. Anu's voice boomed out once again. "After I kill you, I'm going to kill the rest of your pitiful family." He said, his leg lifting and kicking the cat in the stomach sending the cat flying off spitting blood from his mouth into the air.

Anu's form followed. "I'm going to finish what my ancestors started and make sure every filthy cat is wiped from these lands." Another kick coming from above the cat boy's form crashing into his body and sending him cascading into the sands below. Another crunch could be heard of more bones breaking. This time ribs as one could tell from where the kick had landed. Anu's form landed next to the cat's broken and battered form which lay on the ground. "But I'm going to make sure to start with your sisters first, I'll kill them the same exact way I killed your mother." He said to the cat, causing seemingly something to snap within the cat. Through his pain riddled and broken body the man quickly unleashed an attack on the man. A punch as hard as he could into the man's chest. However Anu's form didn't move, in fact Anu's form simply stood there. Looking down at the smaller cat. His expression had never changed, the determined look on his face remained the entire time. There was no expression of joy, no anger, no rage, no hatred. The only thing that could be a descriptor of this man was pure determination. Anu's leaned down and grasped the cat back the neck, lifting him into the air and choking him in the process.

His hands squeezing the fragile neck of the smaller catman. "That hurt a bit, but it was useless." He said to the struggling to breath cat that seemed to begin clawing at the man's large arm with his arm he could actually move. "This isn't some story of heroism, bravery, and revenge." He said, to the cat as he would use his free hand to send a punch into the cat's stomach. Once more the beastman coughed up blood, this time onto the arm of the man crushing his neck. "You're not some hero who gets stronger when he's angry. You're not going to get stronger through fear of harm coming to your family. You're not going to make up for the gap in our strength through your wish to protect your siblings. Your mother thought she could protect you. Your father thought he could protect all of you. They thought this story was their story. It's not. There are no stories. This is the present. The strong live and the weak die, and you're all weak. All of you every single one of you filthy cats." Between each sentence Anu spoke another punch would find Asa's form. With every punch Asa's life faded away even more, blood spitting from his mouth each time. About five punches in however Asa's body had gone limp. Anu continued his attack on what was now the carcass of the beastman. After he had finished speaking he had finally actually realized it. His hand unclenched from around the beastman's neck and allowed his limp body to fall to the sand. The lifeless form of Asa lay upon the sands. Anu standing over it and looking up. "So you caught up?" He asked rhetorically, a group of men and women stood in awe as they watched what Anu did.

"They stay together, I'm sure the other cats are not far from here. But we're going back home. I want this to be a message to them. Put his body high enough on something that when the cats come by they can see him. So the shifting sands do not take his body either." Anu order before walking back in the direction the group had seemingly come from. His staff once more being placed back into the small scroll in his sleeve. Some of the group were still in shock, others seemed to be following Anu's orders. There were a few, likely new people, who were vomitting into the sands. Disgusted by the display they had just witnessed from their leader. Among the Inu Clan there were many who doubted Anu's qualifications as their leader. Mainly due to the situation he was in, being the youngest son of the previous leader. However everyone here now, they no longer doubted the man...and they felt that if they did voice their doubts anyways they would end up like the catman who had just been beaten, batted, bruised and choked to death in front of their eyes.
