The Nil'nocere lands was almost always foggy in the morning. The dew and mist collected in the valley, swirling softly and obscuring vision. It was lucky Asha had such good hearing and a nose to match. It helped pick out any threats that may approach the lands.

Sometimes, she could even See if something were to happen, but those moments were rare. It was best not to rely on a gift that was spotty in reliability. The leopardess gave a small huff as she moved along the borders of the lands. She kept an ear out for any disturbances. She wasn't quite sure if anyone would join her in her patrol this early in the morning, but there was always a chance for a fellow pride-member to be out and about this early as well.

But it was just as likely for a stranger who wished to join, or a stranger who needed aid. Her ears flicked as the trees rustled. In the distance, she could hear Apini talking to the bees. Soon, the fog would be burned up by the sun, but for now the fog continued to roll in.
