The only time I ever got called to jury duty I wasn’t even living in the state anymore and my mom had to tell them so I didn’t have a warrant for evading it 🤣

I've only been asked to do jury duty once back when I was just starting community college. I was waived from having to do it because I knew a good number of the staff (prosecutors, judges, etc.) because my Mom is a Legal Assistant and has worked with many of them. xd

I almost had to serve once. But we got to the part where they asked if I could be impartial and I was like "LOL, no, I already know from the preliminaries who I would side with." and they dismissed my a**. (It was an injury liability lawsuit. Someone slipped on ice around the rental property and was attempting to sue the owner.)

Jury duty sucks. Even during COVID. Urghh. I feel your pain wellwisher. after all we used to be the bestest friends back then from like 2006 to 2009.
