First year: Hard mode @ at least 40 mins daily (usually more), did every SC (including collab w each artist's entries), didn't use any spirit passes, never late, all 100 days
Second year: Signed up for "Nord" mode but had to drop to Ghost right before the event start due to an unusable drawing hand. Literally. Missed a few days until I realized I wouldn't be able to participate... unless I drew with my other hand, did every SC (even left-handed), didn't use any spirit passes (had 100+ arts filled in), followed all prompts
Third year: What's left? XD Hard mode isn’t difficult. My enemy isn't time; it's me. It's easy to draw whatever random prompt for 30 mins. In the end, what am I left with? Crappy art and wasted time. Drawing 100 pieces isn't worth it if I hate 90 of them. Sure, you can argue that it's practice... but then why not do a more focused practice? And I need a lot of it. XD I never said my art is good. XDD What's the point if I draw for 100 days and emerge without improvement?... And if I'm not gonna improve, then I at least want to like more of my art. Sooo. Yeah. Whatever goes~ I will mostly follow the prompts... but actual practice or actually liking my art is more important to me. All that said, this event is about the community. I mostly love seeing everyone's unique take on the same prompts. I'm not motivated by a deadline... I'm motivated by everyone's art. c; (this was edited again on 2/12/22 to better reflect what I was trying to say. This is just my mission statement for the year)

I'm pretty sure that this art was from 2016. I pulled it from an album of my old art app. It doesn't add the date automatically, but there's newer art near it that I dated as 2016. There's a chance this could even be 2015. *shrug* Anyway, back then, I made a few separate sushi pieces. They were meant to stand alone but I grouped them in one image and loved it. I still love aspects of that image.
I love how squished the original is so idk why I spaced them out so much in the redraw. Can’t change it since I didn’t make separate images to move around. Also, it’s not a true redo since I decided to mostly stick to the same style. I think if I were to start this concept from scratch, I likely would’ve gone lineless and probably use more random colors.
