The dream had startled the deaf tom awake. He felt his breath catch and was almost sure his fur was soaking wet. Water had completely covered Riverclan camp, engulfing it below the waves. A large fish leaped from the waters, sending him spiraling in a pool of ripples just before his eyes shot open.

He lay there, panting, at first unable to simply function. Then finally, he got one shaky paw under him. Then another....and another and another.

Bumblebreeze waited outside of Wildstar's den, having asked for a meeting with the leader after that nightmare he had had, certain that it was a message from Starclan. And not just him, it had seemed, but his sister and Stonebelly as well which only cemented the fact that it was from Starclan in his mind. He could still almost feel the mud sucking him down, taking his breath from him as clanmates rushed passed him, swept along by water. His mind still frantic and panic in his chest, he wasted no time in hurrying to tell the Riverclan leader, his sister lingering behind him for the ever needed emotional support. "Mmm...Wildssstar." he called out, his voice softer and more muffled than others due to his deafness and the uncertainty in how his words left his lips. He cast a nervous gaze back at Cardinalwhisper, seeing her reassuring nod which calmed him, at least for a brief moment.

Wildstar had stirred from an uneasy sleep, the soft voice outside his den surprisingly enough to bring the tom cat to wakefulness. Especially recognizing that voice. If Bumblebreeze was outside at this time of night, something must be the matter. While Wildstar tried to keep an open den to any of Riverclan who needed to talk, the deaf med cat didn't seem like the type to wake him for frivolous reasons. Shaking himself to awake, Wildstar emerged from his den with a frown at the trio of med cats. If they were all here...

"What's wrong?" he responded immediately, meeting each of their eyes in turn.

Bumblebreeze took a moment to steady his breathing again before he spoke. "I had a dweam. Rrwiverclan camp covered in water. Mmud was puwlling us in, wike drowning. Cats were being swept away." he said, the deaf tom's voice having never quite grown perfect, but enough to get points across. "The owthers had it too I bewieve." he finished, glancing at the orange stripped tom, his heart still pounding in his head. If this was a true warning, what would or could they do to not be swept away? Bumblebreeze could only hope Starclan was less than literal with this one. @Teigra

Wildstar frowned, focusing on Bumblebreeze's words and nodding with understanding. "Okay, breathe, Bumble. Deep breaths," he offered calmly, resting a paw on the med cat's shoulder for reassurance. He could tell the other was still shaken from his dream, but he had delivered his message clearly enough. Taking a moment, Wildstar closed his eyes in thought, comparing the dream with what he knew about the river and the seasons. "Hmm...it's not unusual for the river to overflow with the season's change, but I believe we shouldn't take this knowledge for granted. If Starclan is sending us a warning, then they don't want us to be complacent either. If this season is worse than usual, then the flooding could reach camp. We may need to take precautions and move to a temporary camp on higher ground."

"First thing in the morning, begin gathering your supplies. Traveling and healing herbs, anything we may lose here if the camp were to flood. I'll send out scouts to find a place for us to make temporary camp on higher ground. We will prepare everyone to move as soon as possible, priority on assisting elders and mothers with kits if we have spare paws without something to do. Once we have a site scouted out, we will begin the move. I'll have Warriors set to keep eyes on the river and warn us if the waters begin to rise."

Wildstar leaned in, gently pressing his head to Bumble's for a moment before leaning back so that the other would be able to see him speak. "Thank you, Bumble, for delivering this message from Starclan. And thanks to them for giving us warning so that we have time to prepare. Now, all of you try to get a bit more rest. At first light, we begin...and it's going to be a busy day." @Luna

Bumblebreeze nodded at Wildstar, reading his words carefully before he sprinted back to his den and began preparing everything he and his clanmates would need for the journey. Even if a temporary move, waters could be unpredictable and he would be a big key in making sure everyone moved safely.
