What will happen in this funeral:
+ Ebio'Femi, as one of the remaining Dawnwalkers, she along with her son Khesbedj, daughter Ha'deh, and adopted daughter Zhen, have done an adjusted mummification process to be respectful of the rites of the homeland and had buried Kohaku in the ancestral home of the Chokwe Pride with Utsuki and his gang as witnesses and short words. Utsuki went to bring the news of his brother's death to the family, and along side him, the Goddess of Messenger's children helped to spread the news.
+ Death comes in 3's.... and luck would have that two of the next in death's path is at the funeral whom have come far and wide to come to Kohaku's funeral.
Why We Are here: From Utsuki, the story and history gatherer of the once old pride, he has come in to understanding and learning about many rites and religions in different prides.
By the way his brother died
suicide
, he feels that it would cause his spirit to go in to limbo and wander instead of joining the rest of their ancestors in the winds. It is because of this fear for his brother's spirit that he has brought everyone here to roar with the winds so that Kohaku knows to find his way home and move on in the winds of their lands.
+ In this Funeral. There will be a moment where Utsuki leads the Roar band, and let their roars ride with the wind to help lead Kohaku's spirit home. This can be already written in to posts if so desired.
+ After that, their will be a celebration of his life, and others will take turns talking about their memories with him. Good, bad and the ugly but all in all while they share a feast in his honor.
+ At the end of the Rp, there will be a great gust of wind, so hard that it sounds like a mighty roar- Utsuki and those of the Chokwe would interpret as Kohaku's spirit riding the winds like the ancestors before him. This funeral will be seen as a success in the eyes of those whom knew him.
General Consensus of Kohaku:
For those that know him from the Dawnwalkers, his mother would often bring Kohaku and his brother, and best friend from the Chokwe Pride to the Dawnwalkers on their way back home from their travels. They would watch him be rambunctious and lead the band of three cubs. He came back to the Dawnwalkers to win back his old love but found out that his best friend Kowab had already mated and was having cubs with his first love. He went feral and fought Kowab but Kohaku's girlfriend at the time Auslief/Rime took him down. Ebio'Femi and her children nursed him back to health where he left to find Rime.
For those that know him from the Pirate pride, he was once a scalleywag for hurting Rime and for not being there for the birth of his children. He didn't know he had. But he learned the ways of the Pirate Pride just so he could help parent his children with RimeAuslief/ Some may have mixed emotions about him, but what was known of him, was he repented and stood in as a father and continued to raid and be with the pirates and earn their respect so he could officially become a family with Rime. He would raid with Captain Black Sam, only to protect his own children. He was a big lion and fought for his family and loved them dearly. Some would still harbor hatred for him or say that he died never being a true pirate, and that would be true. He was a Chokwe member til the day he died.
For those that know him from the Chokwe pride, he, like his mother Gin Matsuba was one of the strongest warriors they had. He fought in the war with the vampires/demons in which he watched his father die, and his mother was supposedly dead having protected a group of orphaned cubs from vampires/demons. Kohaku was well respected, and also given praise for his efforts in the war. He was a hero. He always tried to live by the Chokwe way, and always tried to do right by others. He was kind hearted and loved by his pride.
For those that know him from the Roguelands, he was always butting in to protect someone. Even if they didn't need saving. He was a white knight of sorts annoyingly so, cocky sometimes but overall he meant well. Like a gentle giant, and was playful when it came to cubs.
