It was the third anniversary of her leaving her pride. She had excelled in many things. Being a climber was one of them since most of their fae folk lived in the trees. Still true to this day, no one treated her like she was a fragile creature, but respected her. Elegant and fierce when it comes to taking down birds or smaller prey. She was quick and relentless but it was more that she would hunt for the cubs. For her, she loved eating berries and flowers from the land. It was only when Asteri was around that she would eat with him.
She flourished... Connecting with the different pride members and it was wonderful. Because of Asteri... she believed in magic. Instead of the sickly cub she was- now she felt strong... Felt connected to nature... She could barely remember her life as a princess... and it felt nice because she felt complete freedom and happiness. Like nothing could ruin her world.
The day was brilliant and she was in her bed in the trees, creating little trinkets of stones and sticks and vines to make things for the cubs. For some reason she gravitated towards the cubs, not only because she was a cub coming here but more because she felt like they were FULL of magic and she wanted to help them keep that innocence and magic for as long as possible.
