So, last December I was hacked on Facebook. The hacker sent a ton of rude and embarrassing messages to all my FB friends. I was able to get the account back days later but damage was done. I felt very violated and gross.
Mental health was not good at all!

The only thing affected was my Facebook account. I deleted it as soon as I got it back!

I ended up deleting all social media except for my Goodreads and Gaia account.

But I took a long break from everything because that whole ordeal really did a number on me. I felt so violated!

But, hey, I'm back now!

Remember, strong passwords that are changed often and do not fall for phishing attempts!
Use 2 factor authentication if possible.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! It's awful! I can't understand how some people have nothing better to do than hack someone! It's just so evil.
Just glad you're still here on Gaia. I would change my passwords more frequently but it's hard enough to remember them as it is. I know you're right, though.
