the best way to get more gold is to switch between posting and doing polls.......try to do as many long quizes as you can too.......

and be patiant, it does take a lot of time

Post a lot, and then take polls.
If you post a lot, polls can bring anywhere from 10-13 G
posting will get you lots of gold...but after you post a lot at the same time, you get 4 G for each reply >_<

try countdowns, or quizzes. They're fun, and give you gold! For quizzes, they're very quick, I did one in 1 hour, and it was 100 questions! mrgreen

I started the same way that everyone is suggesting then I saved enough for a vending license & trading pass. Buying and Selling items can earn you a lot if you price things well and don't get too greedy. Sometimes it is hard to find a deal but it just takes some time bidding and watching the market at the right time of day. Also you can purchase gift credits at the Gaia store. I think it is $2.50 per 5000 credit. You can only spend these in the stores and maybe it is cheating but it worked for me (i paid $5.00) Good Luck!!
