In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE linguistics! Sit me down with some grammatical charts and a dictionary of some obscure and complicated language, and I will be entertained for hours. However, even I have my drawbacks... so you would think that these programs are quite useful, right? Nope! However, they can be entertaining. lets see what it does to some Spanish proverbs. 1) A carros entornados, todos son caminos (to an upset wagon, all are roads). To half-closed car, all are ways. (Not too bad, right?) 2) Al que madruga, dios le ayuda (God helps those who get up early). To who madruga, God him aid. ( lol ) 3) De arbor caidos todos hacen lena (we all get wood from fallen trees). Of fallen tree all make firewood. (All your base are belong to us.)
As soon as I can get my computer to work in Japanese, I will post some even better ones. In the meantime, here is a link... "why not" post some yourself? http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/text.html
