I know this is really out there but...
Does anyone in the guild speak Klingon? xd
My parents were very big fans of the old Star Trek when I was growing up ("Beam me up, Scotty!!"). They bought this booklet and cassette disk to learn Klingon. But I don't think they ever did...
But I do know a lot of random Star Trek crap! heart gonk

Klingon?! That is about as "foreign" as a language can get! lol I used to hang out with people who were all too knowledgeable of that artificial language. Pretty much all I know about it is that the pronunciation is based on Hebrew and Yiddish (but the religion is clearly based on Christianity), the alleged number of Romanization systems is reminiscent of Japanese "romaji/romazi", and... if people are going to post threads about fiction based artificial languages, I may as well move my translation program game to this sub-forum.

Pfft, I WISH I could speak Klingon. Sadly, I'm not THAT much of a Trekkie. My brother can say a few phrases though....

My elder sister used to speak it around the house when she lived with us. It used to drive me mad!! No one could understand her. I made her stop by telling her boyfriend that she was a treky. I am an evil lil sister, but it worked! Can't argue with results

I only know one sentence, from the 3rd movie. I can't type it, but it translates to "Kill one of them, I don't care which." Not often useful in conversation sweatdrop

I used to speak fluently in Klingon, but then I stopped, and now I can only remember about twenty words...
