When you start, your "numberpostedlast" will be the word "nothing" because obviously you've just started and you wouldn't have posted a number.
Next, your "numberpostednow" will be your current gold amount and that is the number you start your countdown from.
So say I had 5,000 gold. That would be the number that I would put in the "numberpostednow" when I begin.
When you begin your "New Gold Number" will equal the number in your "numberpostednow" spot. To make this simpler, I'll give you an example
`Atar-alassiel
nothing
5000
(New Gold Number: 5000)
I'd also recommend keeping track of the last number you posted because polls don't show your last posts.
