Every time I get out of the house the bulldozer knocks it down and I get hit on the head with a flying brick and die. I just love the many absurd ways you can be killed in these types of games.

Yeah, it is fun seeing the different ways you can die. The Vorgon ship is complicated.

I played this same game years ago, and never got very far, It isn't going to make sense unless you've read the the books, seen the TV movie and listened the radio series. The movie version probably won't count.
