I need some help translating this sentence:

In itinere Sextus (Sextus is a name) omnia de mure mortuo marco explicavit.

The first part of the sentence is what's really confusing me.

And what is "potero" in English?

omnia is all, mortuo is 'i die' (i think), marco is mark

i can't figure out any more and there are no helpful translators online

I think it says "On the journey Sextus explains that all are marked from the dead." I could be wrong in my translation though.
